“In the morning,” she whispered to herself.

Lucas knocked on the doorjamb. “Don’t fall asleep in there.”

“I won’t.” She blinked her eyes quickly but was losing the battle with sleep. Talking to Lucas would be a good way to stay awake but she didn’t want to ruin the mood. “In the morning.”

“Snip-snip out.” Lucas entered the bathroom and stood over the tub. “What’s in the morning?”

Emily smiled up at him. “The wife wants to talk to you about our marriage.”

He knelt down beside the tub and trailed his fingers in the water. “Oh?”

“She thinks our lack of intimacy is a bad sign.”

“We lack intimacy?” He dipped his hand between her legs and stroked her clit. “That’s news to me. Granted, I let the others have all the fun but that’s only because I knew we would be playing on our own after.”

Emily made a purring noise as she lifted and spread her knees.

  “Tired?”

  “Not anymore.”

“Good.” He slipped one finger into her channel and wiggled it. “Sore?”

Emily rubbed her ass along the bottom of the tub, riding his finger. “Not in the least.”

Lucas placed his face close to hers and asked in a husky voice, “Horny?”

“For you, always.” She slanted her mouth against his for a deep kiss while wrapping her arms around his shoulders. She almost pulled him into the tub with her but Lucas caught himself on the edge with his free hand.

He laughed as he pulled back. “I wasn’t planning on a bath, Em. How about we take this to the bed? I changed the sheets.”

“You’ll be changing them again. Neither I nor the wife likes sleeping on a wet spot.” With Lucas’ help, she rose to her feet and stepped out of the tub. She closed her eyes without prompting to keep from seeing herself in the mirrors.

“Yes ma’am.” He led her out of the bathroom with his hand in hers. “No marriage talk. We’ll save that discussion for after the bet is over.”

“Agreed.” A draft of cool air sent goose bumps up her arms as she entered the bedroom. Emily opened her eyes. A slow smile curved her lips at the sight of her foxtail and her egg vibe sitting next to each other on the bed. “Playing another round of charades?”

“No more games tonight. Just a good old-fashioned fox hunt.”

“You hound dog, you.” Emily crawled onto the bed, lowered her breasts to the comforter and wiggled her ass.

“To keep you satisfied, I have to be.”

  “Complaining?”

Lucas smoothed his palm over her ass. “Not even a little bit. Getting you off and watching you get off are the best parts of my day. It’ll suck if this has to end.”

  “It won’t.”

  “We’ll see. One more week.”

  “Make it worthwhile, then.”

He poised the tip of the tail against her puckered hole. “That’s the idea.”

  Chapter Five

Lucas entered the kitchen. “Whatcha doin’, Em?”

She rolled her eyes at him but didn’t stop stirring the bowl sitting on the counter. “What’s it look like I’m doing? I’m getting the dip ready.”

“Still? I thought it was done already.”

“Almost.” Emily’s fingers had gotten some dip on them while she was stirring. She licked it off. “Mmmmmm.” Making the dip from scratch for Lucas’ party had been a great idea.

He grinned at her across the island. “Taste that good?”

“Here. Try some.” She swiped her finger in the dip and held it out to him.

“Don’t mind if I do.” He captured her finger between his lips, ran his tongue over and around it and then sucked it.

“Lucas, stop that.” Emily laughed as she tried to get her finger back but he closed his teeth around it, not painfully, just to hold her. “Let go.”

He made a negative noise as he continued sucking.

  “Luc—”

The doorbell ringing cut off Emily’s next comment. Lucas released her finger and said, “That must be Noah.”

“How do you know it’s not Carlos?”

“Because Carlos texted me a few minutes ago that he stopped at the corner station to get gas. Noah lives next door.”

“Smartass.” Emily stared at him. “Well? Aren’t you going to get it?”

“Nope. You get it.” Laughter tinged his voice.

“What has gotten in to you today? Just get the door.”

  The doorbell rang again.

  Lucas said, “Not budging.”

Emily heaved a sigh. “Fine. Whatever.” She trotted out of the kitchen with Lucas following her to the front door. Why come with her if he didn’t want to answer it? He’d been doing a lot of weird stuff lately that made no sense. Emily had learned to just go with it. His strange behavior had come with a new cheerfulness. If the happy atmosphere of the house meant putting up with his antics from time to time, then so be it.

She pulled the door open and smiled at Noah. “Hey, Noah.”

“Hey, yourself.” He looked her over, appreciation written on his face. “You look outstanding.”

“You like it?” She’d felt apprehensive about the long-sleeved half-shirt. It had been years since she’d worn anything that bared her midriff but Lucas had convinced her. Plus she wasn’t leaving the house so she didn’t have to be too self-conscious about it.

“Most definitely. You should wear clothes like this more often, the shirt especially but the pants too.”

A light blush dusted her cheeks. “Thanks, Noah. You’re such a sweetie.” She pressed a quick kiss to his cheek and then stepped out of the way. “Come on in.”

Behind her, Lucas asked, “What’s up, Noah? You ready for the main event?”

  “You know it.”

“Good. Em’s been preparing all morning. I thought she would wear herself out.”

Emily led the way to the living room. “It’s just dip for the chips, Lucas. You make it sound like I was cooking a five-course meal or something.”

  “You were most definitely cooking.”

“To you, putting a burrito in the microwave is cooking.” She perched on the edge of the ottoman and Noah took a spot on the couch.

Lucas walked behind the couch and leaned his hip against it. He probably didn’t want to sit because Carlos would be here soon.

She asked, “So what have you been up to, Noah? I haven’t seen you since the barbecue.”

“A little of this and a little of that. Nothing monumental. Just trying not to be bored. Lucas has been helping with that.”

  “Has he now? How so?”

Noah grinned. “He let me play his game. It’s this whole fantasy thing. I’m loving it.”

“That’s good.” She stood and glanced toward the kitchen. “Did you want anything to drink? Beer? Soda? Juice? Water?”

  “Nah, I’m good. Maybe later.”

  “Lucas?”

  He said, “Nothing for me.”

She faced the kitchen. “I’m going to finish getting the dips ready, then. Call me if you need anything.”

  The doorbell rang.

“Or I can get the door.”

Like last time, Lucas followed her to the door. She didn’t question it. More of his weird behavior. She ignored it and opened the door to Carlos, Lucas’ coworker and basketball buddy. “Hey, Carlos. I’m glad you could make it.”

Carlos stared at her with wide eyes and his mouth hanging open.

  She frowned at him. “Carlos?”

He startled with a shake of his head. “Uh hey. Uh yeah. Hi. Hi, Emily. Wow.”

  “What?”

  “Your outfit is…is… Wow.”

The way he stared with open admiration set Emily giggling. She fanned her hot cheeks to cover her shy reaction. “Really? You like it?”

“Hell yeah. What’s not to like? It…you… Wow.”

His speechless attitude was making her more embarrassed but Emily didn’t hate the attention.

Lucas said, “Told you, you looked good in that outfit.”

“Yeah, yeah, you told me so. I’ll stop arguing with your good taste from now on.” She stepped out of the doorway. “Come in, Carlos. Noah is already here. I need to finish preparing the dip so you boys can enjoy your game.”

Again she led the way back to the living room. Noah got to his feet and shook hands with Carlos. They both sat on the couch with one cushion separating them and Lucas took up position behind the couch again.

Emily asked, “Carlos, did you want something to drink?”

“Got milk?” His gaze dropped to her breasts.

The men chuckled as Emily crossed her arms over her chest and stuck her tongue out at him. “No. You want water instead?”

“I’m fucking with you, Emily. I’m just happy to have an excuse to get out of the house. The weekends are too quiet since Janet took off with the kids.”

At the start of summer, Carlos’ wife had packed up the kids and gone to her parents’ house three states over. He’d thought it was a summer vacation trip but Janet had sent home divorce papers a few days later.

She’d refused to talk to him without a go-between when Carlos demanded an explanation. She didn’t want anything from him except the divorce. He gave it to her just to keep the peace and then later found out from his daughter during a phone call that Mommy had a new boyfriend they were staying with.

Turned out Janet had hooked up with an old friend from her hometown over social media. Of course Carlos was pissed but there was nothing he could do about it. Rather than kick up a fuss, he’d come to an agreement that their three kids would return to him when the school year started so they wouldn’t be separated from their friends and things that were familiar to them. The entire situation was a mess that Carlos was handling pretty well, from what Emily could see.

She moved to the couch, leaned over him and put her hand on his shoulder. “How have you been?”

“It’s…it’s hard.” He cleared his throat and straightened and seemed confused where to put his hands since he placed them beside him on the couch and then behind his head, only to put them back on the couch again.

Noah clapped Carlos’ shoulder. “Relax, man.”

Carlos nodded. “Relax. I wish.” He swallowed.

Emily said, “I know this is a tough time. If you need anything from Lucas or me, you let us know. Okay?”

  “S-su-sure thing.”

“Anything at all. If you want, you can come stay with us—just to get out of the house for a little while. You’re more than welcome.”

  “Nah. I’m…I’m, uh, good. Good.”

Lucas said, “Don’t stand on ceremony. We’ve been buddies for a long time. I don’t mind sharing.”

“I can see that.” Carlos appeared to let go of his tension, sagging against the couch cushions. A wavering smile curved his lips. “You know? I’ll take you up on your offer. Maybe a weekend here and there. I don’t want to impose.”

Emily kissed his cheek. “No imposition. If we have plans, we’ll just drag you along with us. Sometimes we do game night with our friends. I think you would enjoy it.”

  “Thanks.”

“No problem.” Emily straightened. “Now. I really need to finish preparing the dip and you all have a game to watch. I’ll only be a minute.”

Emily trotted to the kitchen. She’d made three kinds of dip—restaurant-style salsa, queso and guacamole. She just needed to mix the guacamole. That was where her trusty hand blender came in. She loved this thing—varying speeds and a long neck so she could mix things inside the serving container.

“There we go. All ready.” She set aside the blender, loaded the dips and chip bowl onto a tray and carried it out to the living room where she set it on the ottoman. “There you go, gentlemen. I hope you like it.”

Noah licked his lips as he leaned forward. “I know I will.”

“Enjoy. I’ll be in the TV room. If you need anything else, I’m sure Lucas can get it.” She added emphasis to his name to let him know she wasn’t doing maid service.

Lucas said, “We’re all good. Don’t worry about us.” He flipped on the TV and then sat on the easy chair. “Game on. Let’s do this.”

Emily retreated to the TV room. She wasn’t a baseball fan, despite Lucas trying to convert her on many occasions. It wasn’t to be. She preferred watching a favorite movie again over a bunch of guys swinging a stick at a ball.

Several times, the guys called encouragement to the players. Emily ignored it. She did poke her head out of her room when the credits rolled on her movie and she noticed the men were quiet. Going to the living room revealed Noah and Carlos sprawled on the couch and both breathing hard.

  She asked, “That good?”

Carlos grunted an affirmative. Noah gave a thumbs-up before letting his hand fall to his chest. Only Lucas appeared unaffected by whatever had worn out Noah and Carlos. Maybe he hadn’t been cheering.

Noah wobbled as he got off the couch. “I’m headed home. Thanks for the invite, Lucas. Always appreciate it.”

Lucas stood and shook hands with Noah. “You know I’ll be in touch.”

  “The dip was excellent, Emily.”

She smiled as she kissed his cheek. “Glad you liked it.”

“I did indeed. You don’t need to see me to the door.” He ambled away, stumbling and then righting himself. It was a good thing he wasn’t driving home because it seemed as if he’d had too much to drink.

Carlos stood and appeared to be in much better shape than Noah. “Me too. I’m out.”

Emily snagged his wrist as he passed her. “You’re sure? You can stay. You know that.”

He brought her hand to his lips and kissed her knuckles. “I’m good, Emily. This was exactly what I needed. Thanks.” He kissed her hand again and then bent and kissed her cheek. “Don’t worry about me. I plan to visit often. You’ll be ready to kick me out. If not you, Lucas for sure.”

Lucas said, “So long as Em wants you, I’m cool with it.”

Carlos pointed at him. “I’ll hold you to that.”

“Counting on it.” They shook hands, shared a man hug and then Carlos left.

Emily said while looking in the direction of the front door, “I hope he’ll be okay. That thing with Janet was so wrong.”

  “You’ll help him through.”

“You mean we’ll help him through, right? He’s your friend first.”

Lucas grinned. “So about that. I’ve got something to tell you.” He sat on the ottoman next to her legs. “I want to show you something.”

“Show me what?” Emily propped her hip against his side.

He pointed the remote at the TV. “As you know, this is the last day of our bet.”

She smirked. “I wasn’t going to say anything. I thought you’d given up on that stupid coin.”

“Not at all. I never go back on a bet. You know that.”

“Are you prepared to attend Yolanda’s wedding with me?”

“Not in the least and I don’t have to because I didn’t lose.” He pushed the play button.

Emily blinked several times, trying to make sense of what she was seeing. The video showed her sitting on the kitchen island with her legs spread. She wore a half-shirt and pants similar to the ones she had on now but the half-shirt that covered her from her neck to the bottom of her ribs had a cutout in the front that left her breasts bare.

Her pants, a pair of the most comfortable she’d ever owned, were chaps-style. Until seeing this video, she’d thought about getting another pair. Not now. They had a waistband and legs but no crotch. Her lower belly down to the tops of her inner thighs, and she guessed her ass but she couldn’t see it, were completely bare, like her breasts. She made good use of the easy-access opening, stuffing two of her fingers into her pussy and appearing as if she was enjoying it.

This wasn’t real. It couldn’t be.

“Wha-what is this? When is this? I never…” She glanced at Lucas an
d then the TV. “When did I…?” She shook her head. “I didn’t. I would remember this. Lucas?”

“Shhhhh. Calm down. Just watch. I’ll explain in a minute. Suffice to say, I won.”

She wanted to deny his words. There was no way that stupid coin worked. Hypnosis was a parlor trick. But she couldn’t deny the evidence in front of her. She swallowed as she watched a woman who looked exactly like her doing something she had only fantasized about but never dared do for fear of getting caught.

  What Actually Happened…

Lucas entered the kitchen, holding a small camcorder and staring at the display screen. He came to the island, a knowing smile sat on his face. “Whatcha doin’, Em?”

Emily sat on the counter with her left hand braced behind her, her feet parked on the corners of the island, and her right hand caressing her slit. She rolled her eyes at Lucas and his camera. He’d been filming her off and on all morning. Each time she started masturbating, he’d appeared with the camera.

“What’s it look like I’m doing? I’m getting the dip ready.” She rubbed her clit in quick circles and nibbled her bottom lip.

Lucas positioned himself so he had the camera pointed between her legs. “Still? I thought it was done already.” He smirked. “Then again, this is you we’re talking about. You won’t be done until you have a nice hard dick in your pussy. I would oblige you but I invited Noah and Carlos over to partake and help me with my video. It’s just about time for them to get here too.”

“Almost.” She let out a soft purr as she stroked her slit, drenching her fingers in her hot moisture and trailing it up to her nub. Her slick juices helped her rub her clit faster and excite herself more.

She stared at the camera Lucas held and imagined him watching this video later as he jerked off. There was something so tantalizing about knowing she was being filmed. Her nipples hardened. Dropping her left foot off the counter, she sat up so she could knead her left breast.

“You like this camera a lot, don’t you?”

She nodded with an affirmative moan of pleasure. Splaying her fingers, she parted her lower lips so the camera could see her winking entrance. She imagined Lucas zooming in, trying to penetrate her channel. But imagination wasn’t enough. She slipped one finger into her liquid heat and pumped it. First with deep thrusts that made her moisture squish loudly and then rapid and shallow so she teased her entrance, making herself mewl with need.
