Turn up the Tempo (Lyrical Odyssey Rock Star Series Book 4)

So, I know these things are generally written in third person as if someone else is talking about me. But I just can’t do it. LOL. It may be “unprofessional” but I’m just me. And I hope that’s OK with you guys.
I’m a Carolina girl, through and through. I’ve lived in North Carolina my whole life. I’m a wife, a mom, a scientist and a freelance editor. And now I guess I get to officially add author to the list of things I am. I still can’t believe it.
For as long as I can remember, reading has been my favorite way to pass the time. I always have a book with me and usually am reading more than one at any given time. Editing for indie authors gave me a unique glimpse into the indie publishing world. It’s a world I’m really enjoying becoming a part of.
Let’s Keep in Touch
I’d love to hear from you guys. Tell me what you think of Brooks and Britt. Tell me what you’d like to see me write next. Recommend a great book for me to check out. Let me know what typos you found within my pages. Whatever you want, I want to hear from you.

Acknowledgments
I’ve written a handful of these now, and I must say they haven’t lost their importance or their level of difficulty in my mind. And maybe nobody ever reads them, so I worry for nothing. But this is the part I want so much to get right, because this part is where I thank the people who helped me get to this point. So many people have been instrumental in getting me to my seventh book. And I never want to overlook someone who helped me in either a big or small way.
As always, I must thank my husband first. He’s my biggest fan, even if he only reads the naughty parts.
My son is also my cheerleader, always encouraging me to just write and telling people about my books.
To all of my family, you shaped me into the person I am today.
My beta team – Leslie, Crystal, Jill, Krysta, Heather, Amanda, Marcy, Michelle, Bec, and Tonya — thank you for always being willing to read an unpolished story and see the potential it has.
Susan, your talent with design blows me away. Every time I start talking with you about a cover, I get so excited to see what your artistic vision creates. Thank you for using your talent for my stories and for being a wonderful friend.
To my author friends, thank you for all you do to support and encourage me.
Nathanie, I always look forward to seeing what you think of my creations and characters.
Silvia, thank you for making time to polish my words.
An additional thank you to the authors who allowed me to weave tiny bits of their creations into my book. Kristy Love allowed me to use her character, Bianca from Heartless. Here’s the link to check out her awesome book, which also includes a rocker and a second chance. Kennedy Ryan was one of the first indie authors to ever encourage me in this author journey. She allowed me to use her choreographer, Dub, from her epic Soul Series. This series is one of my favorite reads of all time (Rhyson forever). You can get the series here. And K.K. Allen was wonderful enough to let me utilize her dance space at Gravity Dance Complex. Every book in her Gravity series is phenomenal. You can check them out here.
My ARC team, with each release, I rely on you more and more to keep me motivated and encouraged. Your feedback is invaluable.
Charli’s Rockin’ Readers, you guys are the place in Facebook land that I enjoy most. I enjoy interacting with you all so much. Thank you for indulging me every day.
To all the bloggers who shared, read, encouraged — I’ll never be able to thank you enough.
And last, but never least, to you, my readers who picked up this book instead of a different one, thank you. Please reach out and let me know what you thought of the book. If you enjoyed Turn up the Tempo, please consider leaving a review on Amazon for it.
