Pleasure Pact

Page 2

by B. J. McCall

Her purchases of jeans, a black tee, a dark-gray flannel shirt and slip-on leather house shoes were stored in the bedroom closet. At least her pleasure wolf wouldn’t have to walk around stark naked.

Not that she didn’t want to see Nash naked. She’d often imagined him naked, but Fawn also needed to talk to him and sound him out about a way to bring a halt to the pleasure pact and update the treaty.

The scratch at the door sent a shot of adrenaline straight to her heart. She clutched her chest and took a deep, calming breath, but still her heart thundered.

Fawn lifted her chin and straightened the hem of her black cashmere sweater as she crossed the room. She’d decided to dress casually in jeans and comfortable shoes. Greeting her guest in a sexy nightgown wasn’t her style.

The heat of anticipation flushing her cheeks, Fawn opened the door.

He stood on the front porch, staring up at her with dark eyes that burned with something she hadn’t considered. Anger.

Could she blame him? How would she have felt if she were the one being offered up to the leader of a rival pack? The one who would bear an unwanted tattoo for the rest of his life?

In their prior encounters, Nash had always been professional and respectful. Would she ever see his eyes burn with desire?

  “Hello, Nash. Please come inside.”

  Fawn.

He trotted past her and Fawn ached to reach out and run her fingers thorough his thick coat. Nash was a powerful wolf with dark-brown fur, penetrating brown eyes and nicely pointed ears. He stood before the fire, looking into the flames.

Fawn realized she was waiting to see if he would shift and she’d have the pleasure of seeing him naked.

He turned his head and focused his beautiful brown eyes on her.

Fawn stifled a gasp. If she wasn’t careful, she’d broadcast her carnal thoughts.

He lifted his muzzle and sniffed the air.

“If you’re hungry, I’ve made beef stew.”

  Thank you. It smells delicious.

“I bought clothes and slippers for you to wear. They’re in the bedroom closet.” She pointed toward the hallway. “Bedroom is on the left and the bathroom is on the right if you’d like to shower.”

  Thanks. I’d like that.

Nash headed down the hallway. Before he disappeared into the bedroom, he turned and focused his dark eyes on her.

She stared back. Her blood rushed in her ears and her heart threatened to jump out of her chest. “I’ll set the table.”

Within minutes, the bread was sliced and the wine opened. Fawn struck a match and lit the candles on the dining room table.

  “Shall I pour the wine?”

She hadn’t heard him come into the room. Fawn turned around, her mind taking in everything about him in a flash. The clothes she’d purchased fit him well. His hair was still damp from the shower and his eyes were the color of warm whiskey. He looked so sexy, her toes curled.

His rugged good looks struck a sensual cord inside her, a place needy and untouched. If she just walked up to him and kissed him, what would he do? The idea of touching him, being in his arms, burned through her, heating her blood.

The flame burned the tips of her fingers. She shook her hand and blew out the match. “Have a seat. I’ll serve the stew.”

  “I’ll pour the wine.”

As she filled the bowls, Fawn realized her hands were trembling. She’d foolishly thought because they had worked together amicably that tonight would be easy. But she was too aware of him, his size, his scent, the sheer maleness of him.

And no matter how much she tried, Fawn couldn’t stop thinking about sex. All day she’d been reliving the very vivid and explicit dreams she’d had last night in that intimately sized double bed.

How long had it been since she’d awoken in bed with a man?

A year? Almost two now. Did you forget how to make love?

Was it like riding a bicycle?

Tonight was pure business, all about fulfilling the treaty and keeping peace between the packs, not hot sex and entwined naked bodies. But it hadn’t been all business for her ancestor, Talon. Fawn might pretend otherwise, but having sex with Nash was as much about pleasure as business.

  “Are you okay?”

Nash’s question snapped her back to reality. Fawn realized she’d been staring into space with a full ladle of stew precariously suspended over the bowls. She quickly filled the bowls.

  “I’ll carry those,” Nash said.

  “Thanks. I’ll get the salad.”

Nash held her chair, and as soon as she was seated, he thanked her for dinner.

“I thought it would be a good way to start the evening.”

He dug into the stew. “This is great.”

  “Thanks.”

Eating with Nash shouldn’t feel so awkward. After all, they’d met over lunch on several occasions to discuss the treks to the mountains. But this wasn’t a restaurant on neutral ground. He was here in the Moon God cabin. Here for her pleasure.

Fawn ate her salad and finished her stew.

Nash picked up another slice of bread. “Delicious. Thanks. I was so busy preparing for the winter trek, I missed lunch today.”

  Fawn sipped her wine.

She glanced at Nash. He’d finished his stew and was looking at her.

“I never thought I’d be part of this ritual,” Fawn said. “It must feel strange to be the one chosen?”

“It does, and like you, I never thought I’d participate in this way.”

Fawn stood and gathered their empty bowls and plates. Nash helped her clear the table.

“If you get hungry later, just help yourself,” Fawn said, placing the leftover stew in the refrigerator.

Nash refilled their wineglasses. “Let’s sit by the fire for a while. Both of us need to relax.”

He set the bottle on the table, but instead of picking up the glasses, he turned to face her. When he stood this close, Fawn had to look up to meet his gaze. “I’m so glad you agreed to come.”

His gaze held hers, his eyes searching. He didn’t say a word.

Why didn’t he return the compliment? What was he waiting for?

Silence hung between them. The air stilled in her lungs and her heart slammed against her chest wall.

  “You wanted me?”

“Yes. I realize there were others who were eligible, but I requested you.”

He moved closer. Fawn sensed his rising body heat.

“I didn’t want anyone else,” she whispered. “I wanted you.”

He cupped her face in his calloused hands and kissed her.

His lips were firm and demanding. He groaned, the low, sensual sound reminding her of a growl. Fawn nipped his lower lip, the sexually charged bite a blatant invitation to an alpha wolf.

His lips stilled for a millisecond, then the kiss exploded in a feral storm of lips, tongue and teeth.

All thought vanished. Fawn’s world spun in a vortex of carnal heat and sensual yearning. She moaned, the need coming deep from within her. He wrapped his arms around her, drawing her close and holding her tight.

She reached up and pushed her fingers into his hair.

His hand slid to her ass, cupping one cheek.

Her fingers gripped his hair, pulling on the short, silky strands.

He widened his stance and pressed his thighs to hers, making her aware of the size and length of his cock.

Her senses reeled at the feel of hard muscles and male heat.

She rolled her hips, an intimate brushing of her belly against his. Something she’d wanted to do, but understood was totally inappropriate until now.

Tonight, the forbidden was the rule and she had the right, the duty, to indulge in the illicit pleasure that was Nash Blackthunder.

She might only experience the pleasure for this one moon phase. It may never happen again, but Fawn was determined to wrest every moment and satisfy every need.

He slipped his hands beneath her sweater and touch
ed her bare skin.

A shiver ran down her spine as he slid his hands up her back, pausing on the spot where he’d expected to find the encumbrance of a bra.

A deep groan tore from his throat as he cupped her bare breast.

His palm was warm on her flesh and his thumb firm on her taut nipple.

With each stroke, twist and pinch of her nipple, fire shot through her, traveling deep and licking her between the legs.

Needing to touch him skin-to-skin, Fawn shoved her hands beneath his t-shirt. His skin was hot and smooth, his muscles hard and sculpted.

She slipped her hands over his six-pack abs and dipped her fingertips beneath the waistband of his jeans.

Wanting him naked, Fawn grasped the button of his jeans. The pants were new and she had to work to remove the first obstacle.

When she yanked open his zipper, he broke the kiss.

His eyes glowed hot, the wolf revealed in their amber-tinted depths. His lips peeled back, the wolf set upon its prey. For a moment, Fawn thought he might shift, then the wolf receded and the man emerged.

Within seconds, he’d removed her sweater and taken off his t-shirt.

He kicked off his slippers, then shoved down his jeans and stepped out of them. Fawn was thankful she hadn’t bought him underwear.

He was gloriously built, with broad shoulders, muscular arms, slim waist and a cock more impressive than her imagination.

Breathing heavy, he stepped toward her and unbuttoned her jeans. “Are you just doing your duty?”

Bless the Moon God, Nash was desire, sin, longing and the forbidden in one alpha male package. “With any other wolf, but not you.”

  He yanked down her zipper.

She expected him to strip her naked with the same frantic desire she’d displayed, but for a long heartbeat, he held onto the denim. Her mind was a jumble of emotions, but his movements were slow and deliberate. He kneeled and removed her shoes, then he slipped her jeans off her hips and down her thighs to reveal the silk underwear she wore.

The sheer silk left little to the imagination and Fawn’s heart pounded as she waited for his reaction. She’d bought them for tonight, just for this moment.

His shoulders heaved and an anguished groan came from his throat, making the outrageous price she’d paid well spent.

She stepped out of her jeans and he placed his forehead against her belly. She felt the dampness of his hair against her skin and the warmth of his breath on the silk.

All he had to do was exhale and she’d come.

He pressed his lips to the sheer silk and Fawn shivered at the thought of his lips touching her and his tongue inside her.

Then he lifted his head and looked at her. “Bless the Moon God, I’ve wanted you for so damn long.”

She was dying with need, her body eager, her flesh swollen and dripping with moisture. “Fuck me.”

  Fuck me.

Nash never thought he’d ever hear those words from Fawn’s lips. She was the forbidden fruit, off limits until tonight. He’d take her in every way she wanted, in every possible position, whatever would please her.

He may never have her again, but he’d make this moon phase the most memorable of her life.

Nash gripped her hips and buried his face in the soft crevice between her legs. He kissed her through the silk and relished her trembling response.

He sucked and nibbled until the thin layer of wet silk clung to her pussy.

She rolled her hips, communicating her desire.

Nash pulled aside the wet silk and dipped his tongue inside her. She tasted of woman, of she-wolf, her scent triggering such need his balls hurt.

He captured her clit and suckled deeply until she pulled his hair and screamed in pleasure.

He’d imagined the sex, the wild coming together, but he hadn’t anticipated the depth of his need or the aching of his soul.

Nash tugged on the panties, trying to slip the fragile material down her thighs without ripping and tearing.

  “Fuck me. Now.”

Her whispered words ignited his blood. The heat was intense, the path primed and nothing could stop it.

He grabbed the delicate fabric and tore it from her body, then plunged his fingers through her soft curls.

Her body was perfection, her breasts round and soft, her nipples rosy and the thatch of curls in his fingers pure sin. He wanted to hold her, taste her and make love to her until he was exhausted and she was so damn pleased she couldn’t move.

His brain raced as he glanced at the small counter, complete with coffee maker and blender, scanned the table set with flowers and lit candles, quickly dismissing them as unusable surfaces. The bed was too damn far away. He pushed to his feet and drew her to the sofa, which stood between the dining table and the fireplace. When their legs bumped the sofa, Fawn turned and bent over the back.

He hadn’t imagined their first time would be wolf style, but seeing Fawn’s shapely ass so beautifully displayed before him was more than Nash could handle. Romance fled and raw lycan desire ruled the moment.

He moved between her supple thighs and gripped her hips.

  “Now,” she whispered. “Please, now.”

Mindless with need, he thrust. His cock slid home. Wet, hot and slick, she welcomed him. She squeezed and grabbed, her flesh holding him in a sensual vice.

He rocked his hips, thrusting harder and faster. Deep, grinding digs that had her moaning and gripping the sofa with white-knuckled fingers.

His balls thrummed, the pressure and desire to climax building with each lush stroke.

Their bodies moved as one as if they were made to fit together, perfect pieces of a puzzle. Tight and wet, she quivered, taking him to the plane of sheer ecstasy.

Her soft cries and swaying ass put Nash on the knife’s edge. But when he fell, he wanted her with him.

He drove into her, fucking her, loving her like a werewolf taking a mate at the height of her heat cycle. Fur sprang out on his back, the desire to shift overwhelming.

His universe shrank to this moment.

He wanted to come, to explode inside her, but he held back the climax.

Gritting his teeth, Nash forced back his need, waiting for her to touch the moon.

Nothing existed but the delicious slide of her wet, silky flesh and the convulsing of her pussy.

  She screamed his name.

Nash thought his heart would seize as his climax ripped from his balls and spilled into her.

  Chapter Four

Fawn wasn’t a virgin. Nor was she a wild she-wolf, but as a lover, Nash had set the climax bar really high. Would any wolf be able to live up the standard he’d set?

Probably not, but Fawn was determined to make her time with Nash count.

She straightened and turned into Nash’s waiting arms.

His chest was heaving with exertion and his skin was damp with perspiration. He had that sexy musk scent about him, which only sent her libido into overdrive.

She’d had a taste of real passion and she wanted more. Fawn grabbed him by the hair and pulled his face down to hers. She kissed him, full and long, until she was utterly breathless.

When she finally came up for air, he was smiling.

“You’ll have to give me a minute to recover.”

Fawn stepped out of his arms and looked down. He wasn’t flaccid, but he wasn’t pointing at the ceiling either. “How long?”

“Just long enough to let my heart rate come back to normal.”

“I meant, how long are you?”

  His eyes flashed. “What?”

Fawn laughed. “I’m just teasing you, but you are impressively sized.”

He pulled her against him. “How about we talk about something besides the size of my dick?”

“I like talking about your dick.”

“I was thinking we could sit by the fire and enjoy our wine while you tell me what you like.” He nuzzled her neck. “What pleases you?” Then he kissed her below the ear. “What makes you happ
y? What makes you tremble?”

His voice was even and low, his tone serious.

Her sexual preferences hadn’t been a discussion topic with her previous two lovers. “What if I told you I’d like to be tied up?”

Nash grinned. “I’d buy velvet rope.”

Fawn picked up the glasses and handed Nash his wine. “What if I’d like to tie you up?”

Nash looked her in the eye. “I’d teach you how to tie the perfect knot.”

“Maybe you should put another log on the fire.”

Fawn watched as Nash crossed the room and kneeled before the fireplace. His shoulders were broad and his back tapered to a lean waist and a nice ass. She licked her lower lip. He was hers for the next thirty-six hours.

She joined him on a large sheepskin rug she’d spread on the floor between the sofa and the fireplace. The rug was a recent purchase, an impulse buy that Fawn was unable to resist after she’d run her fingers through the soft white wool. The image of making love to Nash popped into her mind and she’d bought the rug on the spot.

He furrowed his fingers through the wool. “I like this rug. It’s thick and soft.” His hand touched her back and ran along her spine. “But you’re softer.”

Nash set his glass on the hearth. His eyes were burning hot and Fawn’s insides tingled as he took her glass and placed it next to his.

“I don’t think my heart rate will ever be normal again.” He lowered her onto the rug and eased his weight over her. Then he kissed her, a slow exploration of taste, texture and heat.

She never wanted him to stop, and by the time the kiss ended, Fawn’s blood was running hot.

Nash raised his head and looked at her. “You’re so beautiful I want to kiss every inch of you.”

“And when you’re done, I’ll kiss every inch of you.”

  “Promise?”

She nipped him on the shoulder.

He kissed her neck. “I’ll take that as a yes.”

Nash worked his way down to her breast. He cupped her breast in his palm, massaging gently as he performed sensual magic with his lips and tongue.
