  “You sure are.” Her eyes twinkle with pride and tenderness, warming me from the inside out.

  “Three,” she marvels, holding up the corresponding number of fingers. “You now have three Super Bowl rings, babe. That’s freaking awesome.”

  “It is. The satisfaction of winning my third Super Bowl is indescribable. But as excited as I am to add to my ring collection, there’s no ring on the planet that will ever mean more to me than this one,” I say, pointing to my wedding band.

  Emerson gives me a warm gooey smile. “There you go stealing my heart again.”

  I lean across our son’s car seat and she meets me halfway for a slow deep kiss, our tongues tangling hotly until a chubby hand lands on my cheek.

  Surprised, we break apart and look down to find RJ watching us with those big bright eyes.

  I grin at him. “What’s up, buddy? Can’t you see I’m trying to get some action from your mama? I mean, how do you think you got here?”

  RJ gurgles and laughs, a stream of drool running down his chin.

  I shake my head at Emerson and mouth, Such a little cockblocker.

  She snort-giggles and wipes our son’s chin, her eyes glimmering at me. “If you’re not too tired after partying tonight, Mr. MVP, maybe I’ll show you my sexy new negligee.”

  An image of her ripe tits spilling out of a scrap of lace has me grinning lecherously. “How about we skip the parties and get right to the strip show?”

  She laughs. “You naughty boy.”

  RJ divides a look between us, then tosses back his head and lets out a cackling chortle.

  Emerson and I stare at each other for a moment and then burst out laughing.
