  Tears filled Thea’s eyes. “Is it too late to choose you?”

  “You don’t have a say in the matter this time. You already belong to me,” he told her as he leaned in, touching his lips to hers. He poured all the years of longing into their kiss even though he knew he would have the rest of their lives to enjoy her.
