by Stan Lee

Thank you to those brave early readers, all willing to be one of the first to venture into uncharted waters, no-doubt terrified by the sure Hobson’s choice of enthusiastic love for the material or the louder-than-words email politely declining based on a scheduling conflict.

A heartfelt thank you to nontraditional retailers of fiction at comic bookstores, conventions, and anyone who welcomed a spinner rack into their storefront, you provided a home where any reader could discover favorite tales that have become our modern mythology. A tremendous thank you to traditional retailers of longform fiction for your enthusiasm for and support of a familiar voice in a new format. Thank you for being the bridge that this project needed.

Thank you to our families and friends for supporting us in bringing this project to fans.

And, of course, thank you to all of the True Believers and fans who continue to pass the torch with these fantastic, spectacular, amazing, and uncanny myths to the next generation of readers.
