"Marry me,” Jared said, his mouth slipping lower to her stomach. It spasmed as he nuzzled it, rubbing his two-day growth of hair against her smooth skin.
"What?” Monica sat up on her elbows.
Jared raised his head. “You heard me. Marry me. Tonight. I can have a notary here within an hour."
"Jared...” she looked at him surprised. Speechless. He loved doing that to her. Loved seeing her eyes widen and her mouth move silently. A mouth he wanted to devour. But first, he'd hear her answer.
"I don't know what to say."
"Say yes.” He leaned forward, nibbling her lower lip. “Say you'll stay with me forever. Be my wife."
"What about a wedding? Our family and friends?"
"We'll have a party this weekend."
He pulled back holding his breath and watched a variety of expressions cross her face.
Monica nodded. “Yes.” She smiled.
"Yes?” Jared made sure.
Monica nodded and pulled him into a deep passionate kiss. When they finally parted for air, Jared reached for his phone.
"Oh, and then as a wedding gift, we can go and get our nipples pierced."
He ducked the flying pillow as his captain answered the phone.
