“It comes naturally with being a bitch,” Rita said quickly. Natasha smiled.

“Wow, you must have really wanted to get that out of your system, huh?” Natasha asked.

“Like you wouldn’t believe,” Rita said rolling her eyes.

“Her and everyone else, me included,” Stacy said as she cut her meat into tiny bits. Rita and Natasha looked at her.

“Now, why would you have issues with her?” Natasha asked. Stacy looked at her in surprise.

“Hello? I have been at NSCS for three years and for a whole year before you joined us, I had to deal with the bitch first hand,” Stacy said. “And daily because at the time I was at the front office,” she added, shaking her head. “Sad days those were,” she said in a small voice.

“Sad days indeed,” Rita said. "So anyway, she ended up taking two pieces, paid cash and I know this is the worst thing to say as a struggling artist but if I ever see that bitch again it will be too soon,” she added before taking yet another bite of her chicken. Natasha smiled and leaned back in her seat.

“Tell me about it, you are preaching to the choir sister,” Stacy said.

“But on to better things. How are things on the wedding front?” Rita asked looking at Natasha.

“I got overwhelmed and got a planner,” Natasha started.

“What got over you?” Rita asked. “I can’t believe a control freak like you would actually let another person plan the biggest day of her life,” she added. Natasha shot her a dirty look.

  “Hey,” Natasha said defensively.

“What? Tasha I’ve known you since we were kids and you have always wanted things to go in a certain way or not at all,” Rita said.

“You can be a wee bit controlling, boss lady,” Stacy said without looking up. Natasha looked at her and then shifted her gaze to Rita.

“Well, Mitchell talked me into it…”

“…of course he did,” Rita said cutting her short. “This is definitely not something you would have thought of on your own.”

“I got this lady who apparently planned Brad and Angelina’s wedding,” Natasha said totally ignoring Rita’s comment.

“Lucky you,” Stacy said looking up. “Brangelina’s wedding was a blast,” she added excitedly.

“Oh my God,” Rita said as she looked past Natasha.

“What?” Natasha asked looking at Rita.

“Don’t look now because you do not want to know who just walked in,” Rita said putting her hand on Natasha’s.

“Why? I am sure it can’t be that bad,” Natasha said turning her head. “Oh holy fuck,” she said as she saw Jay walking towards their table. “This guy is like a fucking stalker,” she said turning back to look at Rita.

“Oh, the ex? He’s kind of hot,” Stacy said smiling.

“Don’t even go there, sister,” Rita said sternly.

“If it isn’t the lovely Natasha Black,” Jay said smiling. “And her council of ladies,” he added looking at Stacy and Rita.

“What the hell do you want Jay? Why aren’t you somewhere getting your head blown off or something?” Rita asked as Jay walked towards them.

“Always nice to see you, Rita. And you,” he said turning to Stacy. “I have never seen anyone rock red locks the way you do,” he said with a smile. Stacy smiled and almost blushed. Natasha looked at her in surprise as Rita kicked her under the table.

“Ow!” Stacy yelled as she rubbed her leg under the table.

“”Why don’t you girls head on over to the bar and order me a drink,” Jay said.

“They have waitresses, you punk ass,” Rita said angrily.

“Oh, pardon me,” he said. “I was just trying to get some alone time with my woman, politely.” He pulled up a seat.

“I am not your woman, Jay. That ship sailed at the same time dinosaurs became extinct,” Natasha said sternly as she felt her anger rise.

“Well, can I please talk to you?” Jay asked in a low voice trying not to draw attention to himself. “Alone,” he stressed looking at Rita. Natasha looked at Rita and nodded.

“It’s okay Rita. Just give us five,” Natasha said as Rita took Stacy’s hand.

“We’ll be just here if you need us,” Rita said as she and Stacy took a seat two tables from Natasha.

“Okay, they’re gone,” Natasha said. “What do you want?” She crossed her arms over her chest. She noticed Jay’s eyes lingered a bit over her breasts that she had involuntarily pushed up by crossing her arms. She uncrossed her arms and tried to pull the two sides of her blouse together. Jay smiled.

“You always were very feminine,” he said. Natasha took a deep breath and looked into his eyes.

“You need to say what you came here to say, Jay,” she said angrily. “I don’t have all day.”

“Since you got this big job you are a different person, Tasha, aren’t you?” he said. “But somewhere inside there is the woman I fell in love with.”

“Well, you cheated on that woman and she moved on,” she said. He looked into her eyes and reached for her hand. She quickly yanked it away just in time. “Me and you are done, Jay. Please try and move on like I did,” she said in a low voice.

“I still love you. I still care about you,” he said. “It hurts me that you would let me find out this way,” he said as he pushed a copy of the local daily towards her. Natasha looked down and noticed the paper was the same one where she and Mitch had advertised their ‘save the date’ article.

“What good would it have done if I told you Jay?” she asked leaning forward. “I wouldn’t want to see you at the wedding, ever.”

“Really? You would not want to have me see you on the one day you are the most beautiful woman in white even after Labor Day?” he asked. Natasha shook her head.

“Look at the way you keep on harassing me. Do you think I would want you there?” she asked. Jay’s gaze dropped to the table and then rose to look at her.

“Do you really want to do this?” he asked looking at her. “Do you really love Mitchell so much that you want to see him every day for the rest of your life?” he asked. She smiled and looked at her ring before she slowly lifted her hand.

“This is something you never even thought of, Jay,” she said. “Maybe if you were man enough to allow yourself to be held down to one woman, you would have me,” she added as she took her purse. Jay reached across the table and took her hand. She looked into his eyes and almost felt sorry for him, or was it some remedial feelings?

“Don’t marry him, Tasha,” he said. She pulled her hand away and looked at him.

“Bye, Jay,” she said before walking away with Rita and Stacy not far behind. She felt her heart rate rise as they walked towards the exit. She could still feel Jay’s staring at her.

“You okay?” Rita asked holding her hand.

“Just get me out of here,” Natasha said thinking of how Mitchell would take this news. He wouldn’t like it one bit, but he had to know. That was the kind of relationship they had, an honest one.

When she pulled her car into her driveway and switched off the engine, she lay her head back on the head rest and sighed. It had been a long day, maybe too long. Why was it exes could never really remain as ex-factors? Why did they have to make a comeback every so often if just to do some mockery? This was too much for her to handle. She knew exactly what she was going to do to get herself relaxed. She reached inside her bag and pulled out her phone. She scrolled briefly before seeing the number for Wu Ling Hot Pot.

“Hi, Mr. Ling. It’s Tasha,” she said when Mr. Ling picked up the phone. She had ordered so much from the same restaurant that her calls were almost regular.

“Miss Black, the usual?” Mr. Ling asked in a heavy Chinese accent.

“No, today I want to do some sweet and sour chicken and rice,” Natasha said.

“Plain, fried or spiced?” Mr. Ling asked.

“Fried of course,” Natasha answered, smiling almost as if Mr. Ling could see her.

/>   “It will be there in an hour,” Mr. Ling said before hanging up.

“Dinner, check. Now for a bath” she thought as she got out of the car. She could not help but need to stretch out to ease her tired muscles. As she walked into her apartment, she took a deep breath and kicked her shoes off. She had just put her bag down when she heard her phone beep. She took her bag and took the phone out. She looked at the screen and smiled. It was an email from Mitchell.

Hey sweetness. I miss you so much. This damn place has shitty reception, I’ve been trying to reach you for hours. Hope you are okay though. Tell me when you get home.

She smiled and sat down as she typed.

Hey honey. I missed you too. My day was good. No Malibu goddess drama lol!! We can always email if we can’t call. I just got home. I want to relax in a nice warm bath.

Natasha stood up and walked to her bathroom. She switched on the water heater and turned on the taps. By the time the tub was full, she would have already had her dinner. She poured in a few drops of her favorite oils and then headed off to the bedroom where she changed into a bathrobe. She then pinned her hair up and headed back to the living room.

“Some music would be good,” she thought as she set her favorite playlist on the iPod. “That’s the stuff,” she thought smiling as the smooth tunes of Sade filled the apartment. She then walked back to the couch where her phone was vibrating. She picked it up and saw that it was yet another email from Mitchell.

Ha ha, very funny. I wish I was there with you. I love taking baths with you. You always look so much sexier when your body is covered in that beautifully scented oil and the soap slowly sliding off your body…the thought of it might just make me come back early.

  Natasha smiled.

Oh I would like you to just throw in the towel. It has been a while since I felt your hardness in my mouth, I miss the way you twitch inside my mouth as my tongue twirls on your pulsating head. I can’t wait to have you in my mouth again…

Her erotic thoughts were interrupted by the loud ringing of her door bell. She quickly hit send before she put the phone down and walked to the door.

“Evening, Miss Black,” the delivery boy Terry said with a smile.

“Hey there, Terry,” she said as she gratefully took the sweet smelling food. “Busy night?” she asked as he handed him a few bills.

“Not really. I’m actually headed home. You were my last delivery,” he said.

Is that right?” Natasha said. “I guess then it’s a good thing I want to say keep the change,” she said with a smile. Terry looked at her and smiled back.

“God bless you, ma’am,” he said as he walked away. She smiled as she locked the door and walked back to the couch. She picked her cell phone up but then put it back down, took her laptop from the table and headed to the dining room table. After quickly setting the computer up she opened the bag and took her food out. She took a long deep breath, inhaling the rich aroma of her sweet and sour chicken. She checked her inbox and smiled. Mitchell had already replied.

Woman are you trying to get me to come home sooner than I am supposed to? I have to wait for this seminar to be over you know. That’s the only way I have even a remote chance of landing this account.

Natasha smiled as she clicked reply. She was wrong. This was far much rewarding than a bath.

I do want you back home, I want to give you the best time of your life in more ways than one, baby.

She stood up, quickly walked to the bathroom and turned the taps off. As she slowly made her way back to the dining room, she thought of calling Rita so that she would not have to spend the night alone. But if she did she would not be able to do what her emails got her in the mood for. She walked to the couch and picked her phone up before rushing back to the bathroom.

Once in the bathroom, she undid the long straps that held her bathrobe together and felt a shiver as the cool evening air blew on her skin. She felt her nipples harden as she stepped into the bath. She sat down carefully, trying not to get her phone wet. She looked at the phone and clicked on the new email.

Two days, just two days. 48 hours and then I come and lick you dry. After getting you as wet as I possibly can I am going to push myself inside you and listen to you moan and scream because I will make you have the biggest orgasm you ever had and that’s a promise. I will work you so hard it will be a surprise if you have any energy for our honeymoon.

Natasha felt more horny than ever. Mitchell’s words although somewhat psychotic made her want to get on him, ride him till she had no more energy. She dreamed of the day he came home. She would probably have to call in sick or something because she did not dream of leaving the house that day.

Just the thought of Mitchell’s return made her even wetter. Even though she was in the tub, she knew she was getting wet just from thinking of what she would do to him once he came back. She turned on the showerhead and held it under the water against her pussy. She began moaning as the water’s growing pressure splashed hard on her clit. She leaned back as her clitoris became more and more stimulated under the water pressure. She heard herself scream out as she continued to hold the shower head tight. The growing sensitivity in her clitoris made her moan. She wanted to let go of the shower head but at the same time she needed to hold on to it.

“Oh my God….” She thought as she felt her insides burst with intense pressure. She let go of the shower head and closed her eyes and relaxed her body. “That ought to hold for 48 hours,” she thought as she picked up her phone again.

Shower head fun….Nothing compares to you. I miss you.

She placed the phone on the bathroom counter before holding on to the sides of the tub. The day had been eventful, with some parts of the day being something she wished had not happened but she was happy at the way it ended. Her phone vibrated. She picked it up and scrolled down. It was Mitchell again.

Change of plans. Annette Lee from the Las Vegas NSCS office is replacing me in the seminar. I have some ‘business’ I have to take care of. See you tomorrow evening. I love you.

She smiled and closed her eyes. “24 hours and counting,” she thought.

  Chapter 4

Natasha looked at the wedding planner in surprise. She could not believe all the weird suggestions the woman was giving her. After she finally agreed to have a wedding planner, she and Rita set up a meeting with the infamous Pam, the woman who was supposed to be magical as far as weddings were concerned. However, the meeting was not going as well as either of them thought. Natasha was getting increasingly irritated at some of the suggestions the woman was making. Apparently theme weddings were the “in thing” and for some reason this woman seemed to think she would fancy a “Christmas” wedding.

“I think that a Schmidt wedding is definitely one you want to couple with the magic of Christmas,” Pam Sanders said with a smile. Natasha stared at her in surprise.

“I’m sorry. Pam,” Natasha said. “But Christmas is magical on its own,” she added matter-of-factly.

“Yes, but the magic of Christmas and the magic of a Schmidt w
edding…”

“…okay, I’ve got to stop you right there,” Natasha said holding up her hands at the hyper brunette. “This wedding is my wedding too,” she said looking at her. Rita put her hand on Natasha’s.

“I think we need to take a little break here,” Rita said. “Pam, um, I think Natasha is getting a little worked up because you are treating this as a media oriented thing while it’s the biggest day of her life,” she said calmly. “I’m sure you understand,” she added. Pam took her glasses off and looked at Rita and then Natasha.

“I am sorry if I did anything that would make you feel that way, Miss Black, but I’m sure you understand that Mitchell Schmidt is a kind of a quote unquote “big deal” as far as the entertainment industry is concerned,” Pam said. Natasha looked at her in surprise.

“Why? Has Mitchell featured in some Justin Timberlake video I don’t know about or something?” she asked, looking at Rita who had raised an eyebrow.

“Well, of course not,” Pam answered. “But like Paris Hilton, you come from money and you are instantly a celebrity.” Natasha looked at Rita and shrugged.

“I’m sorry Pam. I really thought this would work out,” Natasha said putting some bills on the table. “But this was clearly a mistake.” She stood up.

“Tasha, don’t you think we should maybe sit through the entire meeting?” Rita asked, surprised that for once Natasha was the one eager to end things.

“Rita, I only intend to get married once and this is someone who plans weddings for people who get married a bazillion times,” Natasha said angrily. “I’m sorry Pam, but you clearly don’t get me,” she said more calmly.

“But what about TMZ?” Pam asked looking at Natasha.

“TMZ?” Natasha and Rita asked in unison.

“Being an heir and all, this is a wedding every tabloid wants as a front page story,” Pam said. “It is part of my job to ensure you get the highest bidder,” she added as Natasha sat back down.

“I’m sorry, did you say bidder?” Rita asked. Pam nodded.

“Are you trying to tell me people will pay to cover my wedding?” Natasha asked in surprise.
