  “What is it?”

“Until you, I’ve never had sex. Hell, I don’t even think I got past first base with a girl before you.”

I gasped. It wasn’t what I expected to here, but I sure as hell loved to hear it.

“I don’t know how it’s possible, but I love it nonetheless. Since we’re being honest. I have something to confess as well.”

“Really,” he said, looking a bit surprised. With his brow arched, I said, “I write books as well.”

“I heard. And from what I’m told, you’re an amazing writer.”

“Why didn’t you say something?” I asked.

“Why didn’t you? I was waiting for you to tell me.”

“You’re the amazing Pearce Kraven. I’m a mediocre newbie. If you criticized my work I wouldn’t be able to handle it.”

“Fine, love. If you want to show me you can, but I won’t force you.”

  Chapter 10

It had been three weeks since I’d met her. It had been the best weeks of my life so far, the whole Diane thing notwithstanding. Lynne moved into the house completely, and we even set up an office in the spare bedroom where I first kissed her sweet lips. We thought about sharing my office, but she told me that she didn’t want to fuck with my creativity or to be a distraction, which she had been. I had a deadline and, thankfully, she did, too. It forced us to sit down and work. Of course, there were rewards for meeting our goals. Her pussy was its own brand of incentive.

She managed to submit her work to her editor and would have it back by tomorrow. I was starting to learn her little quirks when it was close to her deadline. She got really anxious and quick to snap. I would just eat her out until that attitude was orgasmed away. I needed to start getting all grumpy soon. I’ll have to remind her of that later.

My phone buzzed with a text message and I knew who it was from. I opened the message to see a sweet picture of her thighs parted against the chaise in the library. I growled with her tease. If she thought her provocative pose was going to go unanswered, she had another thing to learn about me. I wasn’t afraid of fucking her senseless. Deadline or not.

I stealthily snuck around to the hidden door I had built for the library. It was small but like a historical servants’ entrance. She was too busy eyeing the regular double doors. Her ass was high in the air, kneeling on the chaise in a skimpy pair of silk pajama shorts and a pink camisole.

She had no clue I was inching closer. I had already tossed my shirt in my office and unbuttoned my jeans. I forced myself out of her hold this morning before the sun came up to finish the final chapters. I’d just typed the last sentence when I received her dirty text. My cock was making it hard to be sneaky. It was throbbing in my pants and pushing against the zipper. I had to give it a squeeze to ease the ache. Her round ass was teasing me, so I attacked.

She jumped when my hands wrapped around her waist and my bare chest pressed against her back. “Surprise, love.”

“Damn you, Pearce,” she hissed, but still pushed her ass out into my cock.

“You started it, sweetheart,” I muttered in her ear. Nipping at her lobe, I licked down to her neck. “I loved that little tease, Lynne. As you can feel,” I groaned, grinding my hard cock on her ass. Slowly, I slid down her backside, biting her ass through the silky fabric. My fingers locked around the hem of her bottoms and pulled them down. She wasn’t wearing any panties with her shorts. I parted her cheeks and licked her slit from behind. Her honey was sweeter lately and so damn addictive. I loved eating her out every single day. Her knees were shaking and I knew it wasn’t because she had been in that position too long, it was because she can come with a few licks of her kitty.

“My morning treat,” I growled against her wet pussy. Her knees slid farther apart and she lifted her ass a little higher. I replaced my tongue with my fingers, soaking them with her juices. I wanted in her ass today. It was so round and sexy. Pulling my fingers out of her heat, I pressed my index finger into her ass. She bucked, surprised at my intent. My cock was so big, I worried I’d hurt her, but she teased me one too many times. “I want in your ass, baby. Take off your top,” I grunted. She pulled off her top, then looked back over her shoulder.

“Don’t look at me like that, baby. I’m going to make you come right now.” She smiled at me. My woman loved her orgasms and I aimed to please. I flipped her on her back, laying her on the chaise so I could finish my snack. My mouth clamped down on her clit, sucking while I added a second finger into her. She got used to the sensation and started pushing down on my hand, needing more. Her pussy was clenching on my tongue and I knew I was about to get a mouthful of her sweetness.

“Pearce,” she screamed, gripping my hair and fucking my face. I rubbed her pussy all over my mouth before flipping her back on her knees. She leaned over the arm of the chaise, trying to regain her strength. My cock was so fucking hard and red, too close to coming. I pushed my cock in her pussy, stroking in and out, bringing her back to life. It only took three strokes before I came in her depths. I popped my fingers out of her ass and like that she came with me. I rested over her back, but I wasn’t done. Pulling out of her pussy my cock was still half hard and what I was hoping for. Wet with our come, I used it as lube to get inside and claim her ass. She was rocking in her second orgasm when I slipped the head through her rim. I growled. Despite coming, I was ready to blow again.

  “I’m in, baby.”

“I know. I don’t think I could ever miss that.”

“Does it hurt too much?” I asked. It felt great to claim the last hole, but I didn’t need to come in her.

  “No, please take it slow.”

“I love you, Lynne.” I reached forward and pulled her face to mine, kissing her softly her taste still on my tongue. Our kiss intensified and I pushed all the way in. She mewled for me, sighing as I took my time rocking into her while kissed her like I couldn’t have enough. I could feel her pulsing around me and with every moan I knew she was going to come from fucking her ass. I slipped my hand in between her thighs and strummed her clit.

“Come for me, Lynne. Fuck, baby. I know you want to. You like it in your ass. So do I, but I want your pussy squeezing my fingers.” I bit her lip before pulling back and fucking her.

“Oh, so…good…” Her words scattered with each thrust. I was in agreement with her. It felt so good. Damn, I never enjoyed taking a break from working until she stepped into my life. Work is secondary now. She was my priority and the orgasms I gave her.

Pinching her clit, I felt her hit her peak. “Pearce, ah,” she screamed, coming on my hand as I emptied out in her ass.

“Yes, come, baby. I’m with you, Lynne,” I said, pumping every last drop before pulling us down onto chaise. I cradled her until we could both catch our breath.

“I got a little crazy there for a minute.”

“I like your brand of crazy, Pearce. But right now I need to shower. I’m all sticky, sweaty and gross.”

  “Shower together,” I asked suggestively.

“Keep your big dick to yourself and we can. If not, you’re just going to have to shower in the other room,” she warned me. Her words were playful but that look was serious. I’m sure she was ready to pass the fuck out. I had a little more work to do before I could hand it over to my little minx to read. She got all excited when I told her she could read the rough draft before I sent it to the editor.

“I will. Besides, I’m almost done. I can’t be sleeping at my computer.”

“Damn right, you can’t. I need my book, mister.” With that, I carried her upstairs and to the bathroom.

“I’m going to shower in the other room. Take a long one. I’m going to be working for the next two hours. A quick read through and some changes I have to make.”

“Okay. I love you, Pearce.” She smiled, before turning the sprayers on. I was looking at her body, and like that, I was hard all over again. I shook my head at my own pathetic need.

I got back to work. Within the next three ho
urs, I handed her over my iPad with the story loaded for her reading pleasure. She had a few hours to read it before she had to start working on her own promotional materials, but she had always read one of my books before she did her promo materials. She said it got her pumped.

I’d just got off the phone with my father. First Roger called, then my dad. It was all about Diane and her case. She still wanted to claim insanity, but because she escaped there was no way the judge was even going to allow it. She wanted to play her cards and asked for a full trial. It pissed us all off. She only wanted to have an excuse to see me again. I thought about not testifying and staying away from the trial, that way she wouldn’t be able to gain the pleasure of seeing me. Which is what we all expected she wanted.

I had to go tell Lynne the news. She wasn’t going to be happy about it, but maybe if she knew that I had no intention of showing up to court, she would plead guilty. She was already going to serve the rest of her original sentence in prison because she escaped the mental facility.

Lynne was still in our bed with the iPad on her lap. “Still reading?” I asked.

“I finished it, but I was reading it again. I love it, Pearce. I mean, I really love it. This may be my favorite.”

“Really,” I said. She had inspired me first with jealousy then with passion. Each page flowed from my fingers faster than anything else I had written.

“I find the Ellis character very interesting.”

“Well, he shouldn’t have tried to take what was mine.”

“You’re a fool, but you’re all mine. Let me show you my appreciation for your talent,” she offered. As much as I wanted to slide between her thighs, I needed to talk about the conversations I had.

“Not right now, babe. There’s something we need to talk about,” I said glumly.

“Oh, no. Are you tired of me already?”

“Never. It’s about Diane, but come with me. I can’t have this conversation with you in our bed.”

She got up and followed me to the backyard and I went on my plan to prevent a trial. She agreed, but we didn’t know if it would work. If I had to testify I would, but this was about Erin and her friends, who were the victims. I was just her fucked up obsession.

“I want her to go away already,” she sighed. I didn’t like the way she took the news. Her face paled. I was worried this was all too much for her. We were planning a small wedding next week, and what if she had a change of heart after all this Diane nonsense?

“Baby, is this too much for you to handle? Is it too hard to be with me?”

“No. Excuse me,” she ran back into the house like she was about to be sick. She made it to the downstairs bathroom before getting sick. I knew she was a bit stressed, but her throwing up was new to me.

  “Lynne, are you okay?”

“Give me a minute, Pearce.” I waited because I didn’t want to upset her any more than she already seemed to be.

She came out of the bathroom about five minutes later. There was a huge smile on her face, but I didn’t understand why. Then I saw what she had in her hand. It was a white stick thing. I looked from her face to the stick and back again. It hit me what that stick was.

  “Are you?”

She nodded rapidly. I picked her up and spun her around. She was carrying my baby. Setting her down, my mouth crushed hers. We were having a baby. I didn’t think I wanted a family until her, now it was all I could think about. I wanted a houseful of babies. I pulled back and knelt before her. Rubbing her flat tummy, I kissed my baby. “I love you, little one.”

“Are you excited? I know we have a lot on our plates, but I’m so thrilled right now.”

“I’m stunned and happy as fuck. Even though I knew we weren’t using anything, I hadn’t thought it would happen so fast. Do you want to tell anyone or should we wait?”

“How about we wait until the wedding is over,” she suggested. That was a great idea and made all the tension of the possible trial looming disappear. I know my dad was going to lose his mind. Donna would be right with him.

  Chapter 11

It was our wedding day, and the house was full of people. Mostly family, but still it was more crowded than I’m sure Pearce wanted. My family was larger than his, but we were a small bunch. There were supposed to be only thirty people in attendance today. Roger told us it would be best to inform the press about it. This would catch Diane’s eye, and then she’d see that Pearce hadn’t wanted anything to do with her. It hasn’t been made known yet, but we wouldn’t be attending the trial. When I thought about how crazy she was, I wondered how Pearce could even look at me. I was almost that obsessed. Well, I was obsessed, but he was mine. It ran through my head and the one time I brought it up, I saw Pearce’s true temper. He didn’t get violent, but his anger was so high he didn’t speak to me for two whole hours. It took me to take it back for him to calm down.

He told me there was a massive difference between us. I didn’t hunt him down despite having a crush on him. He pulled out my notebook from my bag. “You know about it.”

“Yes, I do. You had a school girl crush, but did you go looking for me?” I shook my head shyly. “No. Even when we met and I showed interest, you were the one to back off. I’d rather have the woman I love to love my work than to hate it. So there’s that.” He looked at the heart with our names around it and the inside, where it said this notebook belongs to Mrs. Kraven.

“You see this?” he pointed to it. “It’s about to happen. If I’d met you before, I would have been the one crushing. You’ve been nothing but sweet, caring, and strong. You aren’t her. Most girls have crushes on celebrities or as I remember you telling Erin that you thought millions of men were hot.”

  “I did,” I said with a blush.

“See. Then, you were crushing over the idea of me. Now, you love me. There’s a huge difference. I feared her from the moment I spotted her. She snuck into my private space and tried to take my life because I didn’t fall for her. She tried to kill me, and you give me a reason to live. Don’t ever compare yourself to her. Ever again,” he said. I felt his pain. That woman took so much from him and now I understood what he was feeling. She was his nightmare and I was his fantasy.

I tackled him onto the floor for some extremely hot makeup sex. I rubbed my thighs together just thinking about that night. We made love like animals. It was the day before I found out I was pregnant, so I don’t know if we should be that wild again now. I’d have to talk to a doctor about it. My first appointment was two days after the wedding. We didn’t have a honeymoon planned out because I wasn’t feeling too well since the first time I got sick, but he wanted to take me somewhere special before the baby was born.

Giving myself a once over, I grabbed my flowers and walked out into the hallway. My father was waiting there with a smile on his face. “You clean up nicely, Lynne.”

“Thanks, Dad,” I said, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

“I’m so glad you didn’t get married to the pizza boy.”

“Please don’t say that to Pearce. Don’t remind him about Ellis.”

“Oh, so I shouldn’t have invited him to the wedding?” he asked. I gasped and prayed my father didn’t really do something like that.

“Please tell me that you didn’t do that. I want to keep Pearce, not send him off to prison for murder.”

“I’m teasing. I just told him that I didn’t really invite Ellis.”

“No, you didn’t.” I looked at him and knew he did.

“Come now, the boy won already. He’s got the girl. He needs to be reminded often that you’re precious. I want him to remember that you’re a gift.”

  “You’re a fool.”

“A fool who’s been happily married for two decades. You remember your mother’s friend Sheila?”

“Yes, but what does she got to do with your relationship?” I hoped my dad didn’t date her and they were still friends. That would be too fucked up for me.

“Sheila’s brother had a crush on your
mother, but she wanted me. Every time they hung out, it was a reminder never to forget how special she is to me.”

“But mom wouldn’t do anything bad.” I know my mother worshipped my father. She always told me how he was the only one she’d ever love. He was her world.

“No, she wouldn’t, but it works every time. A man needs to remember how special his woman is. Taking her for granted is never a good thing.”

“She hasn’t seen Sheila in like two years.”

“Exactly. The last time Thomas showed up to the bar newly divorced and still into your mother. It happened to be a time when I was going bowling with the guys at least three times a week for the tournament and your mother wasn’t too happy with me. I never did anything to hurt her intentionally, but I neglected her. That was the last time I neglected her.”

“So what happened with the guy?” I remember dad playing and winning the tournament and I remembered them fighting about him going out, but the next night it was over with and they were locked away in their bedroom for a whole day. I knew what they were doing, but I tried not to think about it.

“She called me right away and came home, and I’m reminded how even today she’d still choose me. That makes me a very lucky man. I want your man to know how lucky he is every day.”

I was crying already. It was a bit childish, but maybe a little taste of jealousy worked. I don’t know. It wouldn’t for me. I would be super upset if he even looked at another woman. He was mine. I might have to choke a bitch if she came near him.

“It’s time. Let’s take you to Ellis. Oops, Pearce.”

  “Dad,” I complained.

  “I’m just kidding.”

  “I don’t think he’d find it funny.”

“Well then I’m glad he’s not here.” I rolled my eyes then wrapped my arm around my father’s.
