Megan and I tried several times to get back together, but the trust was gone, and we finally went our separate ways after graduation. I see her occasionally. These days, she’s married and has a little boy. I often wondered what we would have had if circumstances had been different.
A hand on my thigh pulled me from my thoughts.
“Hey, did we lose you or something? You were in your own little world for a bit,” Beth said, concern in her voice.
Trying to making light of the Gia and Samantha situation, and distract from the truth of my thoughts, I said, “I was sick of listening to the bullshit, so I tuned them out.”
Beth smiled at me. “I hear you. I hope we can all start fresh and get along.”
Frankie and Lexi showed up, and by that time, Gia was three drinks in and slowly warming up to Samantha.
“H-Hello Samantha, Beth,” Lexi stammered, clearly not sure what to do and confused as to why they were here.
“Relax, Lexi. It’s all good,” Gia slurred. “Sammy here is officially dating our boy, Mikey.” She slapped Mikey on the back.
Frankie, who was standing next to Colin, burst out laughing. “About time, bro. It was getting old, listening to all your excuses as to why you had to go over there. I thought we had faulty appliances or something.”
Mikey gave him the stink eye. “Shut up, dude.”
“Are you okay with this?" Lexi cautiously asked Gia.
“As long as she doesn't act like a dick stick, then I’ll make amends. The first time she gives anyone attitude, I’ll drop her on her pretty little ass. Besides, cowgirl has become friendly with her and failed to tell us. Wait ‘til that little bitch FaceTimes us tonight. I’ll put Samantha on and call her out on her little secret." Gia laughed and leaned into Colin.
Samantha stuck her hand out for a shake. “Hi Lexi, I hope you and I can put aside our differences and work to become friends.”
Lexi shook her hand. “Sure, Samantha. I look forward to getting to know you.”
Seeing that the girls would give it a shot, Mikey visibly relaxed. God help Samantha if she reverted to a bitch. Gia would go apeshit on her.
After a few more drinks and Gia keeping us in stitches with her antics, Ruben, our new favorite bartender, told us to take our glasses down to the water and watch the sunset.
Finally, I can relax and stop hiding my relationship with Samantha. I’d love to have what Frankie and Lexi have. Even though she started on the wrong foot with the girls, Samantha promised she would get to know them and work it out. Grabbing our glasses, we all walked to the beach and sat in the sand, watching the sunset. You would swear it was sizzling on the water as it disappeared below the horizon. The colors were beautiful, and what was even more special was sharing it with the ones we loved.
Wait, did I get all girly again? I must be growing a vagina. This girlfriend shit is messing with my balls. Lord help me.
Well, that went better than I’d expected. I never thought Gia and I would be able to stand in the same room without a fight, never mind be on vacation together. I could admit that I was a huge bitch and gave her attitude every time I saw her. But she was not one to back down and shoved it right back.
I respected her for sticking up for a friend, and I was ashamed of my attitude toward Shelby at the stables. She had been nothing but kind to me, and I’d treated her like the hired help. Over the past few months, she had taught me more about riding than all the professionals my parents had employed over the years combined.
Mikey always spoke highly of all the girls. I think I was jealous that they were so close to him, while he hid me. It made me feel like a dirty secret. I love the loyalty they have amongst each other. Beth and Stacy are my two closest friends, and even though they stayed out of the drama, they had my back if I needed them.
Tonight, we’re going to the casino across the street and ending the evening at the hotel bar. It has been a long day, and tomorrow, we booked a trip on the Mi Dushi. It's a pirate ship that takes you snorkeling, and it has a rope we can swing from and jump into the water. It should be fun.
Getting dressed, I decided to wear my new lace thong with matching bra. I know I’ll be with Mikey tonight, and I want to look cute when I take off my sundress.
I left the casino a winner. Today was getting better and better. Deciding to end the night with a few cocktails and music at the bar, we all headed back to the hotel.
Everyone was coupled up, and Joey, always being a wingman, had become a couple with Beth so she wouldn't feel left out. To be honest, I think he enjoyed her company. They were laughing and talking up a storm the entire night.
Sitting on the stool, Samantha positioned herself between my legs. My hand rested on her stomach. It was my way of saying, “Fuck off, fellas, she's all mine.” She was a little buzzed and started to grind her ass into my cock. Using my hand, I pulled her closer while she seductively swayed back and forth to the beat of the steel drum music, brushing against my dick the entire time. All I wanted to do was rip that dress off her and fuck her silly right on the bar.
It seemed as if all the women had their men in a trance.
Finally, Frankie ended our torture by picking up Lexi and carrying her over his shoulder. They both waved as they headed toward their room. Gia and Colin took that as their cue and followed suit. Grabbing Samantha and pulling her into me, I licked her neck, letting her know it was time for us to play, too.
I glanced at Joey to give him a heads up. Our unspoken rule was that when we had a girl with a friend, one of us would be wingman so the other could have their fun. Beth had had her fair share of drinks, but Joey was a decent guy, and he’d make sure she was safe. He was looking at his phone with Beth, and they were laughing at something.
Samantha caught her friend’s attention. “Beth, I’m going to be with Mikey for a while. Are you okay down here with Joey?” She looked at Beth for approval.
“Yeah, no worries. Joey and I are watching YouTube videos of people on rollercoasters passing out. It's all good,” she said, smiling at us.
“I’ll take her back to her room and wait if you don't mind. No rush. So that she’s not alone, I can kick back in one of the chairs.” Joey shrugged his shoulders.
“Great, thank you.” She hugged Beth goodnight and spun around. “Let's go, big guy. We have some playing to do.”
Shutting the door behind us, Samantha walked over to the window, closing the curtains and darkening the room. I could see her silhouette slowly removing her sundress. My dick went from happy to ecstatic in two seconds.
Once she’d dropped the dress, she stood in a white lace thong and bra. This girl had the perfect body—from her ass to her tits, there was nothing fake about her. She took care of herself, and man did it show. Samantha was like Christmas and New Year’s all wrapped up in one mighty beautiful pussy.
Done with the game, I stalked her like a wolf, slowly backing her up until her legs hit the bed and she fell onto her back. Not sure where to begin, I pushed open her thighs and placed myself in the perfect spot. Dropping my shorts, I kicked them to the side. I peeled off my shirt, never taking my eyes off hers. Finally, I stood naked. My dick was about to explode.
Hovering over her, I kissed her neck. We were both so horny that foreplay was tossed out the window tonight. I went in for the kill. My dick found its way home in a matter of seconds, never needing to remove the thong. My boy wiggled his way right past that pesky little string. Whipping off her bra and tossing it with my shorts, Samantha played with her tits, pulling and pinching her nipples, causing me to pump even faster. Lifting her hips to drive me deeper, she grabbed on to my forearms and dug her nails into me as she came all over my dick, causing me to erupt. I threw my head back as I emptied myself into her. Collapsing to the side, I pulled her onto my chest. She was still trying to catch her breath.
“Oh, my God, foreplay is soooo overrated. That was incredible,” she said opening her eyes.
“Ya think? My
God, I think I popped a nut, I exploded so hard. You make me crazy—the grinding, the underwear—I couldn't hold out. I feel like a high school kid.”
“Shut up. I love having sex like that. It makes me feel beautiful knowing that I can make you come quickly. It means I’m doing it all right,” she said, kissing me. She tried to get up, and I stopped her.
“No, stay. I’ll be right back.”
When I stood, my legs started to shake. Either I was getting old, or I needed to take vitamins to keep up with her.
Grabbing a face cloth from the bathroom, I ran it under warm water and came back to the bed. Poor Samantha was laying in the same position. I gently wiped her with the face cloth, and she jumped as if shocked.
“You don't have to do that, Mikey. I can just go to the bathroom,” she said trying to get up.
“Listen, we’re just starting out as a couple. All this shit is still new to me. I’m going to take care of you after. It’s a matter of respect.” I gave her a look not to question me.
“Um, okay. I understand. It’s just a little weird for me. Normally, after we had sex, I just got up and took care of things. What's so different now?” She looked confused.
“Nothing, except that we’re a couple now. Plus, I was an asshole before. I thought you were using me to get back at Gia.” I looked at the ground, ashamed I was such a manwhore.
“Look at me, Mikey. I started seeing you because you were handsome, sweet, and, most of all, kind. It had nothing to do with Gia. I didn't even know you knew her. Look, I’m not used to men treating me with respect. I come from a circle of assholes who think women are just a hole to fuck. It's the tragedy of being wealthy. Ask Lexi. She’d agree. So, when we find someone who treats us with kindness, we pray its real.” She looked away, and I saw that she meant it.
“Well, baby, you’re stuck with me, so, how about another round of fun?” I pointed at my already-hard cock. “This time, I’ll give you foreplay.”
After everyone went to their rooms, Beth and I stayed at the bar, talking and laughing. It seemed Stacy, their other roommate, was on vacation with her family. That was why she wasn't here. Beth didn't want Samantha to come alone, especially since Gia would be here, so she tagged along.
She told me all about her family, how her mom was a doctor at Brigham and Women's and her dad owned his own real estate business. Her older sister, Julia, was married with two kids. You could tell she was close to her family, which made me feel even more comfortable with her.
I filled her in on mine—it was just my mother and me. My dad left before I was born. My mom had worked two jobs to take care of me, but we’d lived with my grandparents until they’d passed away. My mother retired at fifty and was living with my Aunt in Florida. I paid all her expenses so that she could enjoy her life, seeing as she sacrificed so much for me when I was young. I explained to Beth that I was partners with Frankie and Mikey in the construction business which owned the brownstones where they lived, as well as our latest venture, the waterfront condos.
“Wow. You guys are so young. Look at all you’ve accomplished so far.” Beth shook her head, clearly amazed.
My phone rang. It was Shelby FaceTiming me. Apologizing to Beth, I answered, “Hey, Shelbs, what’s up?” I held the phone so that she could see Beth and me.
“Nothing much. Just finished dinner with the family. It’s official—Jodi is engaged!” she said jumping up and down about her sister’s new status. She suddenly stopped when she realized Beth was there. “Beth?”
“Hi, Shelby, how are you?” Beth said awkwardly.
“Good. Are you on spring break in Aruba, too? Are Samantha and Stacy with you?” Shelby had a touch of panic in her voice.
“Samantha is, but Stacy is with her family. Don't worry; Gia and Samantha have come to a truce. Samantha told her that the two you had already worked it out, and we’re good.”
“Oh, crap. Gia is going to kill me for not telling her. I can hear her bitching all the way in Montana.” Shelby laughed.
I chuckled. “She did mention how she was going to kick your ass, or something like that, for not being truthful to her. But you know Gia, she’s kicking someone's ass once a week. You’ll be fine.”
“Where is everyone? I’ve been calling their phones, and no one is answering.”
“They’re all back at their rooms,” I said, wiggling my eyebrows. “Beth and I are at the bar.”
“Ohhh. Got you. I won't bother them; I just wanted to check in. I miss you guys. Hope you're having fun.”
“So far, so good,” I said smiling and bumping into Beth.
“Great. Well, I’m being summoned by the bride-to-be, so, I have to get going. Tell everyone I said hi. Love you!”
“Love you, too, kiddo. Tell Jodi and Mike I said congrats, and I better get an invite.” I laughed.
“Will do. See you later, guys.” Waving, she hung up.
When I looked at Beth, her smile had faded.
“Everything okay?”
“No. I’m fine. You and Shelby make a cute couple,” she said. Was that disappointment I heard?
“What? Shelby? No way. She’s like a little sister to me. I wouldn't cross that line with her. We’re too close. It’d be creepy.”
“Oh. I thought… never mind. I just assumed.” Her face flushed.
Placing my empty beer on the bar, I dropped a tip for Ruben. Thank God this was all-inclusive, because usually when the guys left, I got stuck with the bar tab. This one would have been a boatload.
“All good, no worries. Do you want to take a walk down the beach? The moon is full, and it’s pretty bright so we can see where we’re going.”
“Sure, that would be great. My butt is getting numb sitting on this stool,” Beth said, rubbing her ass.
“I could take care of that for you, you know?” I winked.
Slapping my chest, she giggled. “I bet you could.” Hopping off the stool, she pushed me forward, and we headed towards the water.
After falling asleep from pure sexual exhaustion, I woke in a panic when I realized it was morning, and I’d left Beth alone with Joey. Jumping up, I grabbed my dress and threw it on in a rush. I ran around the room looking for my underwear and shoes, waking Mikey up in the process.
“Hey,” he said in a groggy voice. “What's the matter? Where’re you going?” He sat, and the sheet fell just below his waist, showing off his chiseled chest.
“I’m such a bad friend. We fell asleep.” I waved my hands in the air like a lunatic before grabbing my sandal from under the bed. “I left Beth alone all night.”
“Babe, relax. She was with Joey. He’s the safest person in the world to be with. That guy would never do anything to hurt her. Now, come back to bed.” Mikey patted the empty spot beside him.
“No, I have to check on her.” Throwing my hair up on top of my head, I leaned over and kissed him.
“I’ll bring us back some coffees. Now, go take a shower. We’re leaving for the boat at nine.”
“But, look, we can play campers. I already have a tent.” He pointed to his hard-on sticking up under the sheet.
"Shower!" I said shutting the door behind me.
Walking down the pathway towards the main lobby, I saw Gia. I hoped she meant what she said last night about starting fresh, and it wasn't the booze talking.
“Hey, Gia,” I said, feeling weird like I was doing a walk of shame.
“Hey, Sam. How's it going? I’m just getting Colin and myself some coffee and muffins.” She looked a little embarrassed for me.
“I’m good. Just checking on Beth. She was with your friend, Joey, all night. I feel horrible that I left her alone.”
“Nah, Joey is a real-life saint. I bet you he’s asleep on the floor, and Beth is in bed, safe and sound,” she said as she tried to balance the coffee tray and muffins.
“I’m sure, but I still feel bad. Normally, Stacy is with us, and it’s not an issue.”
“G
otcha. Well, I’m outta here. Have to feed my man. See you down here in a bit. We need to head over to the dock before nine.” She lifted her chin to say goodbye because her hands were full.
“Yep. See you in a bit.”
As I walked past the pool and garden to our room, I began to smile. Mikey was the first guy I’d dated that made me feel special. As “the rich girl,” I’d been treated like dirt, abused, and tossed to the side. No one knew what I’d endured, including my parents. In the circle of wealth, there was a code of silence, and it could sometimes be deafening.
Swiping my key, I slowly opened the door. Gia was right; Joey slept on the floor at the foot of the bed wrapped in the bedspread, and Beth was out cold in the bed.
“Hellooo,” I said, jarring them both from their sleep.
“W-What the hell,” Beth stammered, looking around with a confused expression.
“Hey, Sam,” Joey said, reaching to grab his shirt.
“Hey, I am so sorry. We fell asleep and—”
“Stop. It's no big deal. Joey and I walked the beach and then came back here, watched TV, and crashed,” Beth said, smiling like she found a little puppy.
“I better get going,” Joey said, throwing on his flip-flops. “We have the boat thing this morning, and Gia will have my nuts if I’m late.”
“See you in a little bit.” Beth waved as Joey walked from the room.
“Oh, my God. You like him.” I jumped on the bed.
“I do not, you big dink. Get down before you get hurt,” she said, swatting at me.
Falling on top of her, I pulled her into a hug.
“Bethie likes Joey,” I said in a sing-song voice.
“Get off me, you big hooker. I have to pee.” She smacked my arm gently.
“Fine, go, but I know that look when I see it. You’ve got the glow.” I threw a pillow at her.
