Steamy Dorm

Wanting to immerse myself even further, I started to walk deeper into the ocean. I didn’t know how to swim, but as long as I kept my feet on the ground, I’d be okay, right? The water reached my breasts and they started to float, making me blush. I ventured a little further, going neck-deep.

In the distance, I could hear the faint sound of a whistle blowing, but I ignored it, my eyes closing. It felt like my body was completely weightless and I loved it. I relaxed my arms, letting the water’s buoyancy pull them upwards, but as I did, my whole body went along with it. Suddenly, my feet weren’t touching the ground anymore.

Instantly, I started to panic, flailing my arms around, but that just made matters worse. Trying to scream for help only made me gulp a mouthful of saltwater. The shore was getting further and further away. A wave crashed over my head, pulling me under. My body spun like someone had thrown me into a washing machine and left it on the spin cycle. I felt dizzy and lightheaded, all at the same time. My lungs burned.

I struggled for air, my head bobbing out of the water for just a moment before the current pulled me under yet again. Was this how I was going to die? I feared the threat of drowning, doubling my efforts to swim, but my body just seemed to want to sink like a log.

I was sinking deeper and deeper, my feet nearly touching the ground. I moved my arms, trying to get back to the top, but nothing I did seemed to work. I opened my mouth by impulse, sucking in even more saltwater. I wanted to cough, but my body was no longer capable of such things. My eyes closed as darkness wrapped all around me.

  ***

I was certain I had died. The darkness I experienced was so penetrating, it couldn’t mean anything else. Still, I could feel something happening to my body. Someone was grabbing me – hard – so hard that it felt like they would dislocate my shoulder. I wanted to tell them to stop, but while I could feel my body, I could no longer control it.

“You’re going to be okay…” A soft female voice broke through the darkness. “You’re going to be okay.” She repeated. For some reason, I trusted her. Maybe she was an angel, about to take me up to heaven.

I felt the hot sand on my back as someone laid me down. “Get the defibrillator!” The same voice from before snapped as her palms pressed against my chest, trying to give me compressions. It wasn’t very pleasant. It felt like she would snap my breastbone at any moment. Again, I wanted to tell her to stop, but I couldn’t utter a word. The darkness was still surrounding me.

The compressions continued and I could almost hear the labored breaths she kept taking. I wanted to tell her it was hopeless – that I was already gone, but she was persistent.

Then suddenly, she stopped. The world also seemed to come to a standstill in those few seconds of inaction. I waited. Suddenly, she grabbed my chin, pried my lips apart and started to breathe air into my lungs. Her soft lips took me by surprise. Somehow, even covered in saltwater, they tasted so sweet. I felt my heart beat just a little bit faster as she continued to give me mouth-to-mouth.

My lungs expanded with air and I felt the need to retch. She pulled away just before I started coughing. It was like I was spitting out the ocean. She sat me up, rubbing my back, making it easier for me to expel the water from my lungs. Finally, I emerged from the darkness and opened my eyes.

I blinked, the sun shining straight in my eyes. “W-What –”

“Shh, don’t talk. Don’t strain yourself.” Her voice was so close to my ear that her hot breath caressed against the side of my neck.

I turned my head to look at her and our lips nearly grazed, but neither of us pulled away. My heart skipped a beat. I was looking into the eyes of the most beautiful woman I had ever seen before. Her hazel eyes looked like they had seen the entire world. Her blonde hair framed her face, making her look like an angel. Maybe I really was in heaven.

“Are you okay?” She asked, her voice like honey.

I nodded and leaned forward, my forehead touching hers. I felt safe in her arms. Even though I could feel the weight of everyone looking at me, I didn’t care.

“What’s going on here?” Kirk’s voice shattered my moment of peace. He yanked me away from the beautiful woman and snarled.

“What do you think you’re doing?” The woman snapped, grabbing his wrist and flinging it away. “This woman nearly drowned, you can’t handle her like that.”

“She’s my girlfriend. I’ll handle her any way I want to.” He yanked me up. “C’mon Chloe, let’s go.”

“I’m sorry…” I mouthed to the lifeguard. She looked concerned as she watched me stumble after him.

“What the hell is wrong with you?” I didn’t answer him. All I could think about was the woman with the caramel-colored eyes. “You know damn well that you can’t swim! Why the hell did you go in the water? Looking for attention?” He shook his head and started to angrily pack up our things. “Let’s go home.” For once in my life, however, I didn’t want to leave the beach, especially if it meant leaving my savior.

  ***

By the time we got home, I was feeling horrible. Nothing about today had been good. Going to the beach had been a terrible idea. Going swimming – even worse.

“What’s for dinner?” Kirk asked, plopping on the couch and kicking up his feet on the coffee table – the table I had just cleaned. I twitched slightly, feeling like I would snap at any moment, but of course, I couldn’t bring myself to say anything. I just went into the kitchen and pulled some leftover pizza onto a paper plate and tossed it into the microwave.

I grabbed an apple off the table and started to munch on it. I probably should have eaten a proper dinner… but I wasn’t very hungry.

Ding! The microwave came to a stop. I pulled out the pizza and brought it to Kirk, dropping it on the coffee table. “I don’t feel too well… I’m going to go to bed.” He shrugged, turning on a movie. “Do you mind lowering that?” Of course, he didn’t.

I sighed and shuffled into the bedroom, feeling like my body weighed a ton. I collapsed onto the mattress and curled up into a tight little ball. Even the blankets felt cold. I couldn’t understand how my life had gotten to this point. What had I done to deserve a boyfriend who treated me like dirt?

I struggled to fall asleep with the sound of Kirk’s movie blaring in the background. How I wished I had the courage to go out there, snatch the remote out of his hand, and just turn off the TV. If I was any other girl, I would have broken up with him ages ago and yet, here I was, feeling sorry for myself. If only the ocean had taken me that afternoon…

Eventually, I fell into a fitful slumber, tears soaking my pillow.

I was in the middle of the beach, all by myself. It was strange seeing the expanse of sand without the usual scattering of people. It felt so peaceful. I walked along the shore, allowing the water to lap at my toes. I smiled at the bright blue sea, finding it friendly for once in my life.

As I walked, something seemed to materialize in the distance. I hesitated, but for some reason, I was drawn towards the white object. As I got closer, I realized it was a person lying down on a beach towel. I slowed my step, wondering who it could be.

As I got closer, I realized it was a woman. She suddenly looked at me, pulling the sunglasses off her face. She propped herself on her elbow and it was only then that I noticed she was completely naked. I blushed, pulling back. I squinted against the bright sun, shielding my eyes. As my vision focused, I realized it was the woman who had saved me. Only… she wasn’t wearing her lifeguard uniform anymore…

My eyes traveled along her body, taking in every inch of her. I couldn’t believe how breathtakingly gorgeous she was. Her milky white skin seemed to sparkle in the sunlight. She smiled at me, her lips looking so kissable. What? No. What was I thinking? She was a girl. I was a girl. And I was straight. I wasn’t supposed to be thinking about kissing her lips.

Yet, as this woman got up and started to approach me, I couldn’t help the shudder that ran through my spine. She was only a few feet away from me, her body on
full display. I had the sudden urge to reach out and grab her breasts, to feel how soft and silky they were under my fingertips.

  What had gotten into me?

She stepped closer, holding out her hand. I looked at it for a moment before placing my hand on hers. She smiled, her face glowing like a midnight star. I gravitated toward her like a moth to a flame and as I did, I felt the water under my feet climb up my body, higher and higher, until it teased at the underside of my breasts.

I looked down and was surprised to find that I was naked as well. When had that happened? The lifeguard smiled at me before she wrapped her arms around me, hoisting me up. She draped my legs around her waist, holding me as if I weighed nothing. I was sure it was just the buoyancy of the water, but still, it felt good to be in someone’s arms like this. I blushed and looked into her eyes, only to find that our lips were mere inches apart.

I held my breath, wondering what would happen next. Her smile deepened before she closed the distance between us and kissed me. It was slow and steady at first. Our lips found a natural rhythm, fitting together perfectly. I was a little skeptical at first, but soon, I found my confidence, my tongue slowly slipping into her mouth, tangling with hers. My fingers wrapped around her blonde hair, pulling her closer, as if I was addicted to her touch.

While I was lost in her lips, her fingers slowly crawled down my body, finding my already wet pussy. I moaned, breaking the kiss. I froze in place, wondering what was going on. She gave me an innocent expression before taking one of my nipples into her mouth, swirling her tongue all around it, immediately turning it into a hard nub. I moaned even louder, my eyes rolling into the back of my head with pleasure. “God…” I whispered. “That feels amazing.”

“That’s it baby, relax.” She cooed, her fingers grazing against my pussy until she finally pushed one of them inside. I moaned even louder, grinding my hips against her finger. I wanted more of her. Much more.

She seemed to read my mind because she quickly added a second finger into the mix. She started to pump them in and out of my wet folds as her tongue continued to work its magic on my nipples. When her teeth sunk down on my sensitive flesh, I thought I would lose any and all control. She took her chance to push in a third finger, bringing me toward the edge.

I pulled on her hair. “This…” I wanted to find the words, but my chest felt like it would explode. With all the water around us, I had never felt an experience like this before. I didn’t even mind that I was having this moment with a woman… in fact, the more I thought about it, the more I realized I wouldn’t have it any other way.

  “You like that, don’t you?”

  “So much…”

“Are you going to cum for me?” Her voice was beyond seductive as she whispered in my ear, nibbling on my lobe. She moved her fingers around inside of me, hooking them to and fro, sending me to a place of bliss.

Pushing a fourth finger against my entrance, she teased me even further. I didn’t know how I would be able to fit so many inside of me. Her thumb grazed my now engorged clit, flicking it back and forth until I thought I wouldn’t be able to handle it for much longer.

“I…” She started to finger-fuck me harder and harder, picking up the pace until her fingers nearly pulled out of me before ramming back in again. The feeling that coursed through my body was indescribable. It was like she knew exactly how to touch me… in all the right places.

Her thumb rubbed circles into my clit. I screamed out, the water washing over me as I orgasmed hard, all over her hand.

When I opened my eyes… she was gone.

  Chapter 3

The next day, I waited for Kirk to leave for work before I rolled out of bed. Technically, I worked from home as a fashion blogger who also bought and sold designer clothes online, but today, I didn’t plan on working. I was going to go to the beach. I never thought I would want to do such a thing, but I had to find the woman who saved me – I had to at least thank her.

I put on a modest summer dress and a large beach hat, which covered up most of my face. That way, I wouldn’t have to constantly worry about sunscreen. I started to walk down the street, feeling a little strange. A few joggers passed me by, wearing tight athletic attire and looking like the type of girls Kirk would stare at as they ran by, their asses bouncing with every step. I tried not to stare, but I could feel envy forming in my heart. Why couldn’t I be like those girls?

I sighed and tried to keep my head up, but it was difficult. Last night, Kirk had been exceptionally bad. He just kept berating me for going into the water and nearly drowning. At one point, he asked me why I didn’t just stay in the water since it would have saved him a lot of trouble.

These thoughts haunted me all the way to the beach. Unlike yesterday, it was pretty empty. There were a few older couples enjoying their retirement as well as a few teenagers who had decided to play hooky. I glanced up at the lifeguard chair, seeing someone there, but I couldn’t quite tell if it was the woman from yesterday. My heart started to beat just a little bit faster at the thought of her. My lips started to tingle as if she was giving me mouth to mouth all over again. I blushed. Why was I feeling this way about another woman?

I tried to ignore the feelings welling up inside of me as I approached the chair. “Um… excuse me…” I knew my voice wasn’t very loud, but the lifeguard seemed to hear me. She bent over and looked down at me, her face lighting up as she saw me. I felt lightheaded just seeing her smile. I couldn’t believe she was happy to see me.

She jumped down. “Hey, you’re that girl from yesterday.”

I nodded. “I just wanted to thank you for saving me…”

“Of course, it’s my job.” She smiled, resting a hand on my shoulder. I nearly gasped at her touch. It was like nothing I had ever felt before. My cheeks burned and my heart started to rampage. It was like this woman was made of pure energy. “But… I mean, are you alright? Yesterday, when that man towed you away, I wanted to say something, but I didn’t think it was any of my business.”

“Oh…” My face dropped at the mention of Kirk.

“He’s your boyfriend, isn’t he?” I nodded, refusing to look at her. “And he’s not very nice to you, is he?” I shook my head this time. She sighed. “Why do you put up with that? If a guy is going to treat you like that, then he doesn’t deserve you. Especially someone as beautiful as you.” She tilted my chin so I had to look her in the eye. My heart was deafening everything around me, making it hard to hear. “If you were my girlfriend, I would treat you like a princess.”

My eyes widened at her remark. Was she being serious? I just stared at her, unsure of what to do. Before either one of us could say anything a tall, lanky man joined us. “Hey, Madison.”

“Hey Henry, you here to take over my shift?”

“Yep.” He climbed onto the chair and sat there, watching the shore.

“Well, looks like I’m off duty. Do you want to grab lunch with me?”

“Uh…” I hesitated, biting the inside of my lip.

  “I promise, I won’t yell at you.”

Still, I hesitated. I wondered what Kirk would say if he saw me sitting with this woman at the food court. Deep down, I wanted to say yes just to piss him off. “Sure.” I smiled for the first time in ages.

“Great. The food court here makes great hot dogs.”

“Ooh, do they?” I followed her.

“Yeah. Way better than some of the other places in town. Haven’t you ever tried them?”

“I’ve never been to this food court before…”

“You don’t know what you’re missing.” Madison grabbed my hand and pulled me toward the food court. After a short walk, we arrived at the outdoor snack bar. It wasn’t very big but there were a few restaurants and tables set up. “Wait here, I’ll go get us some.”

I felt awkward just sitting there. I was the only one there, save for the seagulls who kept looking at me. I scooched away from them. I didn’t like birds.

  It wasn’t long befor
e Madison came back with four hot dogs and two sodas. “I got you a cola, I hope you don’t mind.”

  “It’s okay. I usually drink water –”

“Do you want me to get you one?”

“No. Cola is fine.” I smiled, taking a sip just to prove it to her.

“Well, go on then, have a bite.” I didn’t want to disappoint her, so I grabbed a hotdog and tasted it. My eyes actually widened in surprise.

“Wow! This is so good!” My smile deepened. “It’s so juicy.”

“Isn’t it?” She laughed. “I’m not usually a hot dog fan, if you catch my drift, but I make an exception for these.”

I felt my cheeks burning up at her comment. Paired with what she had said earlier, I was starting to get the sense that this woman was a lesbian… But if that was the case, did that mean she was hitting on me?
