(I feel I need a disclaimer on my browser history: It’s research for a book, I promise!). If you’d like to hide a flash drive in an empty lip balm tube, you can find a tutorial online. And you don’t have to stop with lip balm. You can hide a flash drive in empty lipstick tubes, wine corks, or even small toys or figurines.
