Love Made in Italy Page 8

by Ava Danielle

I push him away, “Excuse me sir, could you slow it down?” and tease him with my tongue.

“You’re such a tease woman,” he bites my bottom lip.

  “Like you’re not.”

“Nope, I’m just a man in love with a woman he enjoys kissing.”

A few weeks have gone by. Daniel and I are doing great. He’s been going to the Ellison’s here and there with me until Mr. Ellison offered him a job as a handy man. He’s also in charge of their security at the house and office. Daniel loves his new job. Not only does he feel as if he’s doing something with a purpose, he’s getting to spend time with the kids and me. We are together a lot and we haven’t even gotten on each other’s nerves, at least not from my standpoint.

We’re saying goodbye to the kids as we end our day.

“Bye Daniel, thanks for building that model car with me,” Joshua gloats.

“It was a blast buddy, we’ll paint it tomorrow, okay?” Daniel hugs Joshua.

“He really likes you,” I wrap my arm around Daniel as we leave the house.

“He’s a pretty cool kid,” he agrees.

“Dinner stuffed me, I don’t know what Chef Chris made but it was delicious.”

“I know. I don’t think I could even have a cup of gelato,” he sighs.

“You crazy? I always have room for gelato,” I giggle.

“The way to a woman’s heart is with gelato.”

“You totally just made that up.”

“But it’s true. Isn’t it, baby?” He snickers as he smacks my ass.

“Okay, so buy me some gelato and then we’ll do what you want.”

  “What I want?” he asks.

We haven’t made love. We’ve kissed, made out, fooled around, but we haven’t gone all the way. He’s been waiting on me to be ready. He’s been waiting for me to give myself to him. I just hadn’t been able to. I hadn’t been able to let it go that far with him. I know that once it does, I’m completely his. I will be too vulnerable, and I have to be strong, now. I cried after our first night. I have needed him to comfort and protect me, before. I don’t want to do that all over again. I want it to mean something more this time. I want to be his, not his job, not his problem, not his worry, just his. And, I want him to be mine.

“Anything you want,” I stop walking and look at him.

  “You sure?”

“I’m positive.” I lean in and kiss him, “Can we go home now?”

“I want nothing more,” we start to walk again until he stops.

  “What about the gelato?”

“You can get me some after,” I wink at him.

“Sophia Chadwell, I like the way you think.”

My phone rings shifting my attention from Daniel. I pull it out and see an unknown number. I answer, but there’s no reply.

“Must be a wrong number,” I end the call.

My mind is racing. My heart is pounding. My pulse is quickening.

“Are you sure?” he asks me.

“I’ve never been more certain,” I whisper.

He wraps me into his arms like a blanket, “I want you so bad,” his voice became tense, and he held me even tighter.

“I want you more,” I nod slowly, keeping my eyes locked on his to show that I fully want him. I want him to take me, to consume me, to make me his, again. There isn’t anything I want more.

Without a word, he lifts his blue cotton t-shirt over his head and tosses it in the corner. My eyes, and heart, are not prepared for this sight. His body is the same as the last time. He’s just like my memories and dreams. Deeply tanned, beautifully sculpted like a statue; he looks exactly like one of the models you see on the cover of a magazine. But he is no model. He is mine, and in my bed.

  “Wow,” I mutter.

“Like what you see?” he chuckled and took me in his arms again.

Our bodies pressed up against each other made my nerves tingle, but I remained calm. His skin was warm and smooth. He suddenly lifted me and tore my clothes off.

“Any last words before I rock your world?” he asks with a big smile.

“Don’t get me pregnant,” I laugh.

He snickered and kissed my bare shoulder. The room became still, and the only sounds were the ones that came from the two of us. Every gentle kiss, every gentle bite, turned me on even more. He continued along my neck, my jaw line, until his tender lips kissed my tender lips. Our kiss more demanding than the last. He’s left me wet. I feel his foot graze along my leg, his hands squeezing my tits, and his lips kissing every inch of my body. His slips a finger into my slick pussy and I arch my back after feeling such sensation. He pulls his finger from me. I suddenly feel the emptiness in his absence. He rolls on top of me. He’s pinned me to the bed with his body. I feel his body slide up and down along my body as he places butterfly kisses from my toes to my head and back. He’s turning me on with his every movement, but I won’t tell him. Instead, I move along with him. Our breath hitches, we sigh at the same time. I spread my legs wide, opening myself to him. I lock my ankles behind his firm ass. His spongy head pushes against my slit. My pussy aches to be filled by Daniel, again. He pushes into me with one long, smooth shove.

  “Oh, shit!” I gasp, breathlessly.

He picks up his pace. I can feel his urgency, his total loss of control. He’s, obviously, fallen victim to the heat of the moment. So have I.

“You keep doing that you’re going to make me cum,” I whisper unable to control myself.

“Cum for me baby,” he whispers in my ear, “let it go.”

And I do. There’s no holding back. As I release my last tense breath, I feel Daniel releasing inside of me. It was supposed to last for a while. We were supposed to make love all night, but neither of us could hold back. I needed him as much as he needed me. Quite honestly, I believe, that proves to me he loves me just as much. All our past mistakes are almost forgotten in an instant. We are one, once again.

“I love you Sophia,” he whispers as he lies next to me.

“I love you too, Daniel,” I kiss his cheek.

Finally things are going in the right direction. The lies, the deception, the fear, and the horror have all faded behind us now. The future is here, waiting for us to decide what to do next. This is, truly, the first day in the rest of my… no, our life together.

“Shit,” I hear from the other room.

“What’s wrong?” I yell as I jump out of the bed and put on Daniel’s shirt that had fallen to the floor on my side of the bed.

  “I did it again.”

“You did what again, babe?” I ask as I leave the bedroom and walk into the kitchen.

  There is water everywhere.

“Oh no,” I laugh. Instead of helping, though, I’m frozen, laughing at the sight of him before me. He’s on the floor, under the sink, soaking wet. He’s only wearing some flannel boxers and they are drenched.

“Well don’t just stand there and laugh, help me.”

“What can I do? You have to tighten it and it’ll stop. Will you ever learn?” I sit up on the bar stool and watch him.

“Shit. Fuck. Damn it, tighten,” he continues to curse, “Finally. Motherfucker.”

“So I guess the coffee isn’t done?” I bite my lip before I laugh even louder.

“Sophia Marie Chadwell. No my darling loved one, it’s not done. We need to move.”

  “We do?”

  “We do.” Daniel states, matter-of-factly.

  “You don’t like my apartment?”

  “What do you think?”

“It’s got its quirks, but it’s not that bad,” I chuckle.

“The toilet overflows, there are buckets for the rain everywhere, and as soon as you pull the faucet just a little too hard, the damn thing explodes and the kitchen is under water, but no, those are just little quirks,” he’s being a complete smartass.

“See, you agree, they are minor quirks,” I agree with him.

Daniel leans on the kitchen counter, drenched, his hair
dripping onto the counter, after fixing the faucet and gives me the look of I hate you but I love you too much to hate you right now.

“We’re going out for breakfast, get dressed,” he demands as he walks into the bedroom.

I follow him in only his shirt when he says to me, “by the way, my shirt looks good on you.”

“I think it would look great with a pair of sexy shorts,” I say as I look through my closet for something to wear.

“No, just the way it is, that’s how it looks good.”

“I’m not wearing anything but this shirt, not even panties,” I pull up the shirt to let him see.

  “Exactly.”

  “Pervert.”

  “So.” He shamelessly declares.

My phone starts to ring and I ask Daniel to answer it, assuming it’s from Katherine, we were planning on doing something this weekend. It is Saturday morning and I want nothing more than to get out with Daniel and explore a little.

“Hello? Hello? Uh… you gonna say something are just going to listen to my breathing, you pervert?” Are the sounds I hear from Daniel after he answered the phone.

Questionable I look at him. He shrugs and hangs up.

“I have no idea who that was.”

“What did the caller ID say?”

  “Unknown Number.”

  “Hmm.”

The phone rings again and Daniel picks it up quicker than I could say for him to pick it up, “Okay pervert, say something or stop calling!” anger burns in his eyes. “Oh shit. I’m so sorry. Here, I’ll let you talk to her,” he hands me the phone when he mouths Katherine.

“Hey girl, what’s up with your boyfriend?

“I’ve been getting strange phone calls from an unknown number and they never say anything, he’s just frustrated with that. What’s up girl?”

“I was thinking we should do a bike ride through Sorrento, what do you say?”

“Sounds good, but can I bring Daniel?”

“Of course, because there’s a guy I’ve been seeing, I’d like you to meet.”

“Let’s meet at the market by the bike rental place.”

“Cool beans. See you later, Sophia.”

“Bye Katherine.” I end the call.

“So, we have a bike date?” Daniel looks at me confused.

“It’s fun. We’ll stop somewhere for Limoncello; I think you’ll like that.”

“Alright, what to wear?” he looks through all his clothes.

“Are you the girl or am I?”

“Well I have to impress Katherine’s boyfriend.”

  “Wait, what?”

“Yeah, I have to be better looking.”

  “Why?”

  “Guy’s ego,” he laughs.

“You’re something else. I bet if you went naked that would make you the better looking one,” I giggle.

“What are you trying to say?”

“That you’re handsome and shouldn’t cover yourself up.”

“Sounds good,” he throws himself on to the bed, “I’m ready to go.”

Shaking my head, I dig through my closet and find a white romper with blue lace. Some sandals to go with it and I’m pretty much ready.

  “How’s this look?”

“You’re fucking sexy. I feel underdressed,” he looks down at his naked self.

“I think you’re pretty sexy too,” and lean on top of him to kiss him.

His hands are on my hips and he’s admiring the view down my romper. That seductive look in his eyes makes me want him. If he wasn’t so darn good in bed, I’d pass this opportunity up, but I can’t. I lean in to kiss him, but he throws me onto my back, “it’s time for me to get ready so we can go,” and places a sweet kiss on my lips.

  “Are you kidding me?”

  “What?”

“I’m fucking wet and you’re just going to get ready now?”

  “Yep.”

  “You’re so fucking…”

He interrupts me, “choose your next words wisely,” he stares at me as he puts on his clothes.

“Lovable, sweet, sexy, cute, hot, crazy, good looking, have I mentioned crazy?” I answer him.

  “Good girl.”

There’s this thing between us, when he asks me to choose my words wisely, it’s because he already has something planned. Something that will make my panties melt off. But I won’t get it if I have an attitude. And I know this for sure. So, instead of having to give up something worthwhile later, I oblige now. Sometimes as a girl, you have to give in, or make them believe you’re giving in, just to receive something you so desperately can’t go without. And sometimes it’s just a game. It’s a fun little game between two lovers.

It’s a gorgeous day. The cool breeze hitting our legs as we drive the bicycles through Sorrento is absolutely divine. Daniel and Francesco fall way behind as I’m riding right along next to Katherine. Either, we’re just better at riding bikes or they just want to watch us from behind. We’re talking about girl stuff. Maybe that’s why they’re staying out of earshot.

“So, tell me about this Francesco?” She introduced us to this hunk of an Italian earlier. I must admit, he’s easy on the eyes. I had to make sure I didn’t stare too long. I didn’t want to make Daniel feel awkward.

“We met at the bar the other night. If you weren’t so busy you could’ve been there.”

  “Oh, hush.”

“He’s twenty-eight, he runs this beach bar down by the ocean, and he’s always running around shirtless,” she giggles.

“Is that what made you like him?” I laugh.

“Not so much. He is a total gentleman.”

  “Oh, really?”

“He bought me flowers. He’s always opening doors for me. His hand is always mine. He’s a total romantic. Guess it helps that he’s drop-dead sexy on top of all that.”

“Do you think he’s a player?”

“Sabrina asked me the same question the other day. I don’t know yet. But for now, I’ll enjoy the attention.”

  “I don’t blame you.”

“Come on girls, you’re falling behind,” I hear Daniel shout as the guys speed by us.

“We can’t have that,” Katherine stands up and drops her bike a gear, and off she goes.

“Looks like it’s just you and I,” Francesco says.

I’m surprised by how great his English is. He has a bit of an accent, but it’s not overwhelming or overpowering. I can actually understand him. There are some Italians with accents so bad you can barely make out a ‘hello.’

  “Looks like it.”

“I really like Katherine,” he confesses.

  “She’s pretty sweet.”

“I’m thinking of proposing to her,” he announces and it takes everything for me not to fall off the bike.

  “What?” I stutter.

“I want to ask her to marry me.”

“How long have you two been dating?”

  “A few weeks,” he admits.

“Don’t you think it’s still too early to ask for marriage?”

“Why? I love the girl.” Francesco proclaims.

  “Does she know that?”

“I say it every day. She’s my Princessa.” He coos, almost singing.

My immediate thoughts turn to Daniel and me. We have been ‘together’ for over a year now and neither of us has even talked about marriage. How can you decide on marriage after only a few weeks? Is that even possible? Should Daniel and I be at that point in our relationship? Should we be thinking about marriage? As for now, I’m enjoying being his girlfriend. I love him, of course I love him. But would I love him as my husband? I wonder if he is thinking about marriage, too. Is that a subject we’re ready to breach? I wish Francesco hadn’t said anything to me. I doubt my relationship with Daniel, now. I don’t doubt our feelings, but should we be closer to our ‘happily ever after?’ Thanks to Francesco, I have more questions than answers. I still have too many demons I’m still trying to fight. It wasn’t too long ago I didn’t trust
Daniel, at all. I don’t want anything to jeopardize our relationship, now.

“What are you thinking about?” Francesco’s voice yanks me back to the present.

“Limoncello, Francesco, that’s what I’m thinking about,” I confess.

“Let’s go to my bar. We need to catch up to Kat and Daniel,” he picks up speed on his bike. I’ve fallen completely behind.

This windy, curvy, cobblestone road keeps vibrating my ass on the seat. I swear, these cobblestones may look pretty, but riding a bicycle on them is not the easiest task. How do Italians do it? Strangely though, the uneven vibration is kind of turning me on. I hope it doesn’t show.

I finally catch up to them before Arriving at the beach. We park our bikes against a wall. Daniel chains the bikes together. He grabs my hand and we all walk to the bar together. The sun is starting to set a bit when we sit down at Francesco’s bar.

“Let’s sit in the bean bags,” Katherine says as she grabs the tray with the Limoncello.

“It’s so smooth, yet sour,” I say after I drown one shot.

“You’re not supposed to drink it like it’s tequila. Enjoy it,” Katherine sharks, as she picks on me.

  “Well, I didn’t know that,” I stutter.

“Cool, friendly, clever, beautiful… but enough about me. Here’s to us. May we live forever in Italy,” Katherine kids around as we clink our glasses and enjoy our small little glasses of Limoncello.

I swear, I thought you drink it like a shot.

Francesco finally joins us, as we finished another glass. He’s all smiles. And I’m starting to feel warm and fuzzy inside.

“How are we getting home?” I ask.

  “What do you mean?”

“I mean, how are we getting home?”

“With our bikes, silly,” Daniel tickles my thighs.

“I’m too tipsy to ride a bike. Hell, I can barely ride it without alcohol in my system. I definitely won’t be able to do it after this stuff.”

“By the time we leave, you won’t have any more in your system,” Daniel winks at me.

  “What’s that supposed to mean?”

Daniel gets out of his seat and holds his hand out to me for me to take it.

“We’re going to go for a walk by the beach,” he smiles Katherine and Francesco who are wrapped up in each other’s arms on the beanbags. They just nod at him. I don’t think they even realize we’re still here.
