“I didn’t know she was going to invite friends over to entertain you,” Tony said.

“We may as well enjoy ourselves, this might be our last night alive,” Carlito said and started dancing. They all decided to socialise and have fun, “we don’t know what will happen next,” they all agreed.

Carlito was chatting and laughing with a beautiful lady; she liked him and was playing with her hair and staring into his eyes, but Carlito just tried to joke with her because he knew Andreiá could be watching. He turned around to see if Andreiá was watching and he noticed two men chatting her up, and Andreiá was really enjoying herself and smiling. Carlito told the lady he was with to excuse him; he walked over to Andreiá and kissed her passionately in front of the two men. The two men looked at each other and walked away. “You had to mark your territory!” Andreiá shook her head.

“Yes I did, don’t they know you are my girlfriend?” Carlito replied.

Andreiá shook her head, “I was just chatting with them, it was harmless, but I saw you chatting up that lady,” she pointed at the lady.

“I was just socialising,” Carlito said as he danced and kissed Andreiá.

Andreiá pushed Carlito back, “I was just socialising too.”

“Well I’m not leaving your side for the rest of the night,” Carlito said as he danced in front of Andreiá.

One of Faith’s friends walked up to Tony, “You have a nice house, I hope Faith is taking care of you, if not I’m here for you,” she said and smiled.

Tony smiled, “She’s doing a good job, you don’t have to worry.”

“Well if you change your mind you can reach me on this number,” and she slid a card into Tony’s pocket. Tony just smiled and walked away. Faith walked up to Tony and asked him what she wanted; Tony said she was being silly that it was nothing serious.

“Be careful with her because she is quite mischievous, and I don’t want her coming around you,” Faith said as she stared at the lady.

“I thought she was your friend?” Tony asked.

“She is, but we all watch her closely, she likes flirting with other people’s boyfriends.”

“Okay, I’ll stay far away from her,” Tony assured Faith.

Elsa was dancing and having fun, the men at the party were taking turns to dance with her because none of them could keep up, but after dancing for a long time she was exhausted and sat down. One of the men she danced with sat down next to her and told her he liked her a lot, but Elsa was so tired that she told the man to leave, “I need to be alone right now,” she told him. The man got up and left.

Lisa had a lot of attention from the men, but she clung on to Emilio, she danced and kissed him all night, Emilio was just the kind of man Lisa needed in her life.

It was a fun night for all of them and it was what they all thought they needed after hiding from Kevin’s men for days.

The party ended late in the night, Faith’s guests left, and Faith left with them to pick up some items from one of her friend’s house.

Elsa, Emilio, Lisa, Carlito, Andreiá and Tony were all tired, so they sat down in the living area and relaxed. “I’m happy she invited her friends over, it was what we needed after all the stress of being pursued by Kevin and his men,” Emilio said as he relaxed on a couch, “I don’t think I am going to get up from here for days, I am worn out.”

Tony got up and brought a gun from the room, he put it on a table, they all stared at him, “Just in case Kevin’s men try to attack us, it is good to have one around,” Tony told them.

  “That’s true,” Elsa agreed.

They were all beginning to doze off when they felt a strong wind blow into the living area; they all felt the wind but didn’t see anything. All of a sudden a stronger wind blew into the living area where they were all sitting and they had to cover their faces. When they put their hands down they saw Kevin and Déborah standing in the room. They all froze, they were all extremely frightened.

‘So this is how my life is going to end with all the money I have in the bank and beautiful women fighting over me, why did I agree to help these people?’ Carlito thought to himself.

After they all calmed down from the shock of seeing Kevin and Déborah, they all got up and tried to run out of the room; Kevin waved his hand and they were all flung against the wall, and fell to ground. Kevin told Déborah to pin them to wall. Déborah spread both her palms and they were all pinned up against the wall with their legs dangling, none of the them could move.

Kevin walked slowly towards Tony, he stood in front of Tony for a few seconds, “How did you survive this long? You stole so much money from me and you survived this long!” He looked at the rest of them and walked towards Elsa, he grabbed and cut her chain. Kevin looked at Déborah as she kept them pinned to the wall. “Open the locket on the chain,” Déborah told Kevin. He opened it and he saw a tiny tracker. Elsa was in shock, she remembered Déborah told her she liked her chain and only told her she wanted to see it, she didn’t know she could put a tracker inside, Elsa thought to herself and shook her head.

Kevin walked back to Tony, stared at him and grabbed his throat. Tony couldn’t breathe, he was gasping for air and struggled to remove Kevin’s hand from his throat, and after a few minutes Tony went quiet. Kevin left him and he fell flat on the floor. Immediately he fell to the floor, Faith opened the door and walked in, she had just got back from her friend’s place. She saw Tony on the floor and the rest of them pinned against the wall and she screamed; Déborah lost concentration, and the people she pinned to the wall fell to the ground.

Elsa got up, picked up the gun on the table and shot twice. The bullets hit Déborah in the chest and she fell flat on the floor, Kevin quickly waved and Elsa tumbled backwards, and the gun fell on the ground. Kevin rushed and grabbed Elsa by the throat; Emilio ran towards them and tried to hit Kevin so he could save Elsa, but Kevin turned and grabbed Emilio too by the throat, he had Elsa on one hand and Emilio on the other hand, he squeezed hard as they both tried to fight back but they couldn’t. Kevin was super strong, they were losing breath, Elsa and Emilio gasped for air, and their eyes began to shut. There was a sudden gunshot, everything went quiet; Kevin looked back and saw Lisa with a gun, Lisa had quickly picked up the gun and shot Kevin, he released Emilio and Elsa and the three of them fell to the ground. Lisa rushed to see if Emilio and Elsa were still alive when she suddenly felt a strong wind blow into the room and Kevin’s body disappeared.

Lisa and Carlito quickly applied CPR to resuscitate Elsa and Emilio. Elsa and Emilio coughed and gasped for air, and sat up. They checked Tony’s pulse and he was dead. Faith knelt down and wept, “I knew something wasn’t right from the day I met him,” she said as she wept.

Elsa checked if Déborah was still breathing but she was also dead. Faith kept crying. “Where is your bedroom?” Andreiá asked Faith, “I want to get you a towel,” Faith pointed in the direction of the bedroom. A few minutes later, Andreiá came out with a note, which read, ‘Just in case something happens to me, I have transferred the remaining thirty-five million dollars in my account into Carlito’s account for you all to share.’ Tony.
