She was fidgeting and continued to glance over my shoulder. Right as I was about to open the door to her bedroom, the person in question limped out into the hallway. Was it him? It was hard to tell. The beard was double in size and the swollen eye, lip, and cheek made it difficult to be sure.
“Kac, is that you?” I heard from behind me. Malik had arrived.
It was Ghost, but why was he here at Anora’s house?

I know this story had some intense scenes. I hope you were able to continue and see Jenny’s transformation. It was damn powerful to see her become a fighter and win. She definitely deserved her happy ending.
This book is the start of what will be an intense journey for each fighter. There’s a new mob boss in town and she’s out for blood.
