Our bodies connected and I sucked in a breath, wondering if I could choke on his cock. He felt even bigger than he looked, but he fit like a glove. It was the most amazing thing I’d ever experienced in my life. I looked down and could just barely see where our bodies met, his dark hair twisting alongside my lighter hair. His firm body poised over my soft one. His lightly tanned skin next to my pale skin.

It was the most beautiful thing I’d ever seen.

“Jesus, you feel good. Am I hurting you?”

“I think I might come again,” burst from my lips.

Aidan looked down on me in surprise. “Really?” I nodded. “I’m going to move, if you’re ready.”

  “God yes, please.”

Aidan slid out until just his head was still inside me then slid back in, so slowly I thought I was going to cry. He did it over and over until I was whimpering with need, aching from the pleasure that was just out of my reach.

“Please Aidan, I need you to help me. Please make me come,” I whined.

His carefully held control snapped and he propped himself up on his hands, still leaning over me, as he plunged hard into me. His extra-large cock hit me perfectly, my body tightening with each thrust of him into me.

The bed shook with every slam of his body into mine. Aidan’s arms trembled with the strength it took to hold himself above me. His muscles rippled and sweat trickled down his neck and between his pecs. I wrapped my legs around his hips and he hit my new favorite spot even harder. I thrashed beneath him, my body coiling tight like a snake ready to strike.

“Come on baby, I need you now. Come now, sweetheart. Right now,” Aidan choked out, the words sounding strangled coming from his throat. But all I needed was to look up into his eyes, see the blackness of his desire, the tension he was holding back, and the love, and I shattered around him.

A scream left my lips, my body feeling like it was split in half. I clung to Aidan hearing my name being drug from his throat shortly after I screamed his. I smelled his sweat, his heat, our sex, on us. My tongue darted out to claim a bead of sweat running down his neck and he collapsed on top of me.

I held tightly to him, feeling comforted by his weight on top of me. My legs were still around him, and I felt his heart pounding in time with mine.

“Shit, honey, I’m sorry, are you okay?” he asked, pushing off me. I was holding him so tight I rose up with him when he tried to sit up.

“Don’t go,” I whispered against his neck.

He settled back down on top of me and nuzzled into my neck, “Never.”

  Seventeen

Sometime during the night Aidan and I switched places because by morning I was mostly on top of him. The first time we spent the night together we were both dressed, but that night we never got out of bed to put clothes on so we woke up naked.

And a naked Aidan was definitely something I enjoyed waking up to.

It was still dark out when my alarm went off. I slapped it and rolled back over into his arms. He pulled me the rest of the way on top of him and I sat up, straddling his hips. Aidan’s morning wood pressed against me and I rotated my hips over him, earning a groan from him.

  “You’re evil,” he joked.

“Evil means I’m not going to to anything about it. I’m pretty sure you’ve turned me into a big fan of sex.”

“Is that so?” he teased, lifting my hips to position himself between my thighs. He held himself up with one hand while he guided me down his shaft slowly. “You’re already wet. Were you dreaming about me?”

“I told you, you’ve made me a fan of sex. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to the celibate life I was living.”

Aidan held my hips, sliding me up and down his thick cock. It felt good to have him inside me, something I never thought I’d want. “Put your hands on my chest and you control this,” he told me. “Use me to make you feel good.”

“I want you to feel good, too.”

“I’m inside you. That’s a guarantee that I feel good. Here, put your hands here. How does that feel?”

I couldn’t answer him because of my rapid breath. One shift and I was already about to go off like a bottle rocket. I rose above him, lifting my hips from his and then sliding back down him. It was like an erotic pony ride.

I rode Aidan, my inner seductress loving the control, but I knew I wouldn’t be able to last. With every thrust my strength was fading, every ounce of my energy going toward the orgasm that was building low in the fire of my core.

Aidan felt me drifting and took control. His fingers dug into my hips as he lifted me up and slammed me back down onto him. He bucked his hips into mine as I dropped, meeting me in a passionate kiss of our most private areas. My body tightened, my breathing increased, I lost control, my head falling back.

“That’s it baby. Let me feel you. Let me hear you. Come on Claire. Tell me. Tell me all about it, baby. Let go.”

I leaned over Aidan again, my nails biting into his skin, my hips lifting higher and our connection hitting harder. Our bodies jolted together over and over again, his fingers urging my hips to go faster and faster. Until the dam snapped and I screamed, I moaned, I groaned as I came. Aidan lifted and lowered me, my muscles no longer functional, as he slammed into me one last time. As my name poured from his lips he poured into me.

I slumped over, still atop him, but not wanting him to slide out of me. Aidan pried his fingers from my hips and wrapped them in my hair, pulling me down to him. “You’ve made me a fan of you. You’re un-fucking-believable.”

“You’re inspiring. And we’re going to be late for work. Let’s save time and shower together,” I suggested.

Aidan groaned. “You’re definitely going to kill me.”

After our shower, and round three, we shared a bowl of cereal and some toast before shoving leftover pizza into a bag and grabbing a few bottles of water, two apples, and a handful of cookies. We took Brownie for a quick walk then bolted out the door.

Aidan dragged me to his car. “What are you doing?” I asked.

“I’m guaranteeing I get to come back here tonight. And I’m not hiding how I feel about you anymore. I won’t be able to go through an entire day without kissing you and I don’t care who knows it.”

I let him pull me into his arms for a kiss then settled into his car with our shared lunch on my lap.

Aidan held my hand on the drive and once we got out of the car he reached for me again. “No one is going to be upset that we’re together. I think they’ve all suspected for a while that it would happen eventually.”

“Why would they be expecting us to get together?”

Aidan squeezed my hand. “Because unlike you, they’ve noticed that I’ve been mooning over you for years.”

  “You have not,” I protested.

He stopped and pulled me against him, our joined hands low on my back. He leaned down really close, his lips just a breath from mine. His hand cupped my cheek and he whispered, “I most definitely have. You just never wanted to see me as anything other than a friend. They all saw us at Malley’s and know how I’ve felt about you. They’ll be happy, trust me.”

Before I could argue he closed the distance between us, sealing his lips to mine. His thumb caressed my cheek and his tongue stroked mine, heating me up in the already warm morning. I clung to him, needing to be closer. My body arched against his and he growled low and deep from his chest. One hand closer tighter around mine and the other tangled in my hair and angled my head to better suit him.

Headlights flashed over us and we broke apart. I saw Jenn grin as she drove past us and I shook my head. “I guess the truth is out now,” I told Aidan.

“Yep. Even worse, if we don’t get in there soon everyone is going to know I dragged you back to bed. Hell, I might do it anyway,” he teased, turning to head back to his car, pulling me along behind him.

I laughed and tugged on his hand. He spun around with a huge grin on his face. “Okay, but you better get me into work soon or I’ll take y
ou back to bed and keep you there until I’ve had my fill of you. Which I’m pretty sure is never going to happen. We’ll die in your bed from too much sex. But what a way to go…”

I laughed again and pulled him toward the airport. “We’re not dying. And we are going to work. You’re trying to buy a house and I like to eat waaay too much to quit working. But you can stay with Brownie and me again tonight if you want. Maybe we can have a repeat of last night. And this morning.”

Aidan spun around again, pulling me toward the car. I threw my head back and laughed at him until I heard Jenn’s voice behind us. “Can’t get enough of her now that you’ve got her, huh Aidan?”

“Nope. Tell everyone we’re sick and will be in bed for the rest of the day,” Aidan said.

Jenn laughed and I rolled my eyes at him. “If I didn’t see the way you two were wrapped around each other a few seconds ago I might have believed it. Actually, I do believe you’d be in bed all day, but the sick part I’m not so sure about.”

Jenn finally caught up to us and Aidan turned and we all walked into the airport together. “I’m just glad you finally got her. You were getting pretty pathetic.”

“Yep, I was. But she’s worth the wait. I’d wait another three years all over again if I had to, but I really don’t want to,” Aidan said in a panicked voice as he turned to me.

Jenn and I exchanged a look then cracked up laughing. He was as bad as every other man, but he was mine. And we both knew he wasn’t going to wait anywhere close to three years.

Inside Bob and Nicole were equally happy that Aidan and I were together. It was a odd that our little group was so close in some ways and not others, but it was nice. We were like a little family, and I was excited to share with them how happy I was. Even though I’d only barely scratched the surface of happy.

Our day went pretty smoothly. Aidan and I were discrete with our affection in front of passengers, but he kissed me during lunch and held tight to my hand as we headed home at the end of the day.

Home. Ha! Like he lived with me. I really was starting to lose it.

Mandy called once we got back to my apartment. Aidan walked Brownie while I talked to her. “Didn’t you just get home?” Mandy asked once Aidan left.

  “Yeah, a minute ago. Why?”

“Is Aidan living with you now?”

“No, of course not. He stayed last night and is staying tonight, but we’re not living together.”

Mandy choked on something, coughing loudly in my ear. When she could breathe again she said, “Isn’t spending all your days and nights together basically the definition of living together?”

“So are you living with Xander?” I threw back at her.

She exhaled loudly and said, “I give. What are you guys doing tonight?”

“No plans. We have to work tomorrow but we were just going to hang out tonight.”

“Excellent. Come over. Both of you. Aidan wanted to see Xander’s house anyway and this will be a perfect chance for us to get to know him better. You know, without everyone. Plus, Xander needs more friends. Since he ditched all those asshole friends he had he only has Drew to hang out with. He needs more dick in his life.”

I heard Xander yell, “I do not need dick in my life.” I laughed and Mandy cooed at him that he was going to turn into a woman if he didn’t have men to hang out with. “I’ll show you just how much of a man I am,” Xander growled, louder than before so I knew he was close, then he came on the phone.

“Mandy needs to be reminded that I have more than enough dick for her. We’ll see you guys in an hour. Don’t rush,” Xander said, then the phone went dead.

I was still laughing when Aidan and Brownie walked back inside. Aidan gave Brownie his bone and I told him about my call with Mandy and Xander. “They sound like fun. And his house sounded awesome. I’m up for it if you are. But we’ve got an hour, right?” he asked as he pulled me toward the bedroom.

An hour and a half later we were pulling into Xander’s driveway, with big smiles on our faces. Xander and Mandy answered the door with matching smiles. The men shook hands and Mandy winked at me. “Your house is awesome. And this is a great area,” Aidan said.

“Thanks. I love it. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, something I needed. I’ve outgrown the party atmosphere, you know. I like having my own space.” Mandy hit his shoulder. “I mean I like sharing my space with this one,” Xander teased. He wrapped his arm around her and gave her a smacking kiss on the lips which she accepted with a smile.

“Why don’t I show you around while the women talk. Judging by the look on Mandy’s face she’s got something to say when we’re gone.”

Aidan agreed and followed Xander back toward the bedrooms while Mandy and I headed into the kitchen.

“Holy shit, you’re glowing. I’ve never seen you like this,” Mandy whispered with a glance toward the hall where the men disappeared.

“Yeah, he’s definitely different. In a good way though. Aidan is the guy I never thought I’d find. He’s basically perfect.”

Mandy reached down four wine glasses and pulled out a bottle of wine from the fridge, working through Xander’s kitchen with a familiarity only possible for someone who’d spent a lot of time there. Mandy had told me she and Xander had talked about her moving in but it wasn’t official yet. Even though she’d moved her cat in with Xander. I couldn’t help but wonder when the last time she’d been home was.

“I’m just glad you’re happy. He’s a good match for you.”

I nodded and took a glass of wine from Mandy. “He is. I even talked to him about BJ. I told him everything last night.”

“Wow,” Mandy said, shocked. I never talked about BJ. Even Sam and Addi only knew the basics about what had happened, not all the details. Mandy knew everything since she’d been there with me. She knew how huge it was that I talked to Aidan about it. “What did he say?”

“He wanted to kill him, of course. He also said he would never do anything like that and hates that I had to go through it. And then he proved to me just how different they are.”

“What do you mean?” she asked slyly, knowing what I was implying but wanting me to spell it out.

“We slept together last night. And again this morning. And before we came over here.”

“Holy shit!” Mandy cried. “You little minx. I’m so proud of you. Does this mean you’re actually enjoying sex?”

I nodded and grinned from ear to ear. “I finally understand what you guys were always talking about. Aidan is amazing. He gets me, you know, and he knows how to touch me to make me feel alive. Sex with him is just… Wow. It’s just wow.”

Mandy jumped up and down in a little circle then hugged me tight, both of us laughing like schoolgirls. “I’m so happy for you! Now we just need to get Aidan to buy a house in this neighborhood and we can all be neighbors.”

“I think I might have him sold on the idea, honey. He loves this place and likes that the neighborhood has nice backyards and good walking paths. He said it’ll be good to have that for Brownie,” Xander said with a knowing wink.

I gaped at Aidan, unsure what to say. Did that mean he was considering houses based on me, that I would factor into his decision? What did that say about our relationship? Or about how he felt about me?

And why was I so excited that he seemed to be planning on me being a permanent fixture in his world?

  Eighteen

We all sat down to dinner at Xander’s dining room table. He grilled barbecue chicken with veggies and we drank wine and talked. Mandy was trying to get to know Aidan better, and Aidan and Xander were bonding like best friends. We were taking turns asking random questions.

“If you could do anything, money not being a consideration, like if you won the lottery or something, what would you do?” Aidan asked.

“Oh, come on, that’s such a boring question,” Xander complained. “Everyone always wants to know that but the truth is we’d all just sit on our asses and watch TV or something.”

“Well, I guess we know your answer. I wouldn’t do that. I’d be a counselor for kids. I’d work in a school helping out kids who don’t have great home lives or who have suffered abuse. I’d want to help them know they aren’t alone and they don’t have to hide the truth. I’d help them be brave enough to confront the person who hurt them.”

Aidan’s hand tightened on mine as Mandy spoke. I knew she would answer that way. She’s always told me she wished she could help other girls who’d suffered like me, and that she wished she’d been there for me more. She was the best friend I could have ever had and I know I wouldn’t have been strong enough to give Aidan a chance without her.

“You’d be great at that,” I told her. “You have a knack for helping people.”

“I guess that’s why you’re so good at customer service, honey,” Xander said. “But yeah, I can see you helping kids. You’ve got a good heart. I’m a lucky man, that’s for sure.”

Xander pulled her in for a sweet kiss and Aidan pressed my hand to his lips then rested our joined hands on my thigh. “I think I’d travel. I’d go see the world, all the places I’ve always wanted to see but been too afraid to go,” I admitted. “After I started up my program for rape prevention.”

  “What program?” Xander asked.

I glanced at Mandy then Aidan, somewhat embarrassed that I hadn’t told either of them about my idea yet. “I’ve looked into starting up a program for rape prevention. There are a lot of things to help afterward, but I want to stop the act before it begins. Talking to boys about respecting girls and talking to girls about standing up for themselves and being smart. I’m looking into it. Lexi’s company is going to give me some funding. I’m putting together a business plan now and thinking up all the things I want to put together. I’m looking at self defense, self confidence, and general smart things for girls to do. I also want the boys to understand what no means.”

“You two should work together,” Xander teased. “You guys would be a force to be reckoned with.”
