Undo Me (Bone Daddy Book 3)

She glanced at BD and noticed him noticing. His eyes narrowed dangerously on the bearded stranger before meeting her sudden smile with a grumpy glare. He was jealous? Of her?
Bethany glared and straightened her spine, the move pushing her breasts out more than she was comfortable with, but he deserved it. He was the one who wanted her to wear the stupid dress in the first place.
As he drew closer to her, he got his first full view of the consequences of that decision. His jaw tightened, not with irritation this time, but need. She could see it. Feel it. Bethany had never felt anything like it. For tonight, at this moment, she was a siren, the woman in red that no man could resist. Not even Bone Daddy.
She watched him hand the bride to Rousseau, placing a gentle kiss on Allegra’s forehead. Her heart pounded as she waited for him to come to her, to sit beside her as they watched the culmination of their unusual love story.
Instead he turned, avoiding her gaze as he walked toward the other side of the aisle, finding an empty seat beside a woman in a slinky black dress who, if her expression was anything to go by, was thinking she’d just won the man lottery. The harlot immediately placed her arm across the back of his chair, using the excuse of speaking in his ear to press her obviously fake breasts against his side.
Her cheeks on fire, Bethany glanced around to make sure no one had witnessed her epic embarrassment and sat down with a thump. What the hell? Had he decided after the incident in the dressing room that she wasn’t worth the trouble? That he didn’t want to waste what was left of his day on her?
Had he decided he wanted someone else?
Catherine warned you.
No. No Michelle had warned her. And she’d dismissed her like an idiot.
Ignoring the frantic tugs on her hair, she fought to get her anger under control. She held herself stiffly, determined not to let him see how badly his public brush-off had hurt her.
He’d never loved her. He’d never been faithful.
The tugs got harder.
“Not now, Manuel,” she hissed from the corner of her mouth. “I’m busy.”
Thinking of ways to unman a Loa. Painfully.
Chapter 7
BD was depraved, even in human form.
Here he was, watching a minister join the lives of Celestin Rousseau and Allegra Jarod, and all he could think about was Bethany. Fucking Bethany. Claiming Bethany. He wanted to bend her over her chair, press her against the gazebo, a tree, anything as long as he could take her hard and fast—and damn the audience.
His body was a mass of raw nerves and cravings and inappropriate desires. His damn balls ached and his pants were strangling his unyielding erection. They were speaking of God, and he was a devil because he just wanted it to be over so he could drag Bethany away from here and bury himself inside her.
She didn’t look as receptive as she had when he first saw her. In fact, she looked as if she shouldn’t be allowed to handle any sharp objects for a while.
You hurt her.
Didn’t she understand that he couldn’t trust himself to sit beside her? That, for Allegra’s sake and to keep the tentative peace he now had with Rousseau, the smartest thing for him to do was sit as far away from her as possible so he didn’t ruin their wedding with an impromptu exhibition?
He tried to catch her eye but she was focused unwaveringly on the bridal couple.
“Damn it.”
“Weddings make me so hot. Do you think they’d miss us if we disappeared for a few hours?”
He was broken. That was the only explanation. A beautiful woman was rubbing against him, offering herself up to him on a rather obvious platter. He could slake this need on her, a need so strong it made his teeth ache. He shifted away from her in his chair and shook his head. Bethany was the only one he wanted.
She had officially ruined his day.
“Thank you for the generous offer, cher. But I belong to another.”
The large-breasted female pouted, her darkly stained lips too thin, too symmetrical for him to consider attractive. “She doesn’t have to know.”
He watched Bethany’s head jerk as though someone had yanked her hair, mumbling under her breath before pulling all those long, stunning tresses over her shoulder. “I would know. That is enough. But I believe there is a bearded man a few rows back who is single. Perhaps he would be willing to bring you to pleasure.”
The persistent woman bit her lip and slid her hand between his legs, just as Rousseau was slipping a ring on Allegra’s finger. “I love the way you talk. ‘Bring you to pleasure.’ You seem to be ready enough to do exactly that. I admire your attempt at fidelity, but if you were truly satisfied, I don’t think you’d be this hard for me right now.”
His shock at her boldness turned to anger when he realized that Bethany had chosen that moment to glance in his direction. Her gaze honed in on the woman’s hand between his thighs and her jaw dropped.
“I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.”
The minister’s voice cued the clapping, and as the musicians began to play a celebratory tune, Bethany got up and rushed through the crowd, heading back toward the house.
“Merde.”
He stood and the woman rose along with him, trying to slip her hand in his. Did she think he was that easy? He pulled away from her touch, meeting her surprised expression with one of mild disgust. “I am taken, I assure you. I sat beside you remembering her cries of passion as I took her and wishing I was inside her again. I’m sorry, I don’t mean to offend, but that is all you felt from me. You’ll have to get what you want from someone else.”
Had he ever, in the history of his existence, turned down a request for pleasure?
It was another thing he envied humanity. Freedom of choice.
He walked away from the dazed woman, ignoring The Mamas’ stares as he pushed through the guests surging forward to congratulate the happy couple. All his attention was focused on getting to Bethany.
An image filled his mind, so real that for a moment he found himself in another place and time.
She was crying as she raced from his room. Why had she come now? He’d just woken up to realize there was a naked woman in his bed. A woman who hadn’t been there when he’d fallen asleep. Before he could demand an explanation, the woman he loved beyond reason had opened the door, stumbling as if he’d dealt her a physical blow.
“Marcel. You promised me.”
He threw on his clothes and raced after her but it was too late. She’d never believe him now. She’d never trust him again. Maybe it was better this way.
Isabel. He’d lost Isabel.
“No.” BD shook his head angrily, coming back to the present, urgency quickening his steps. He didn’t know where these visions were coming from, but if they were trying to tell him he had to give Bethany up, that she was better off without him? They could go to Hell.
He still had time. And he refused to spend it in regret or waste another minute.
She wasn’t going to cry. So what if he was moving on to a new conquest? She still looked good, and there were plenty of men at this wedding, a lot of them single and most probably human. One of them who would still be there for breakfast in the morning.
Bethany walked up the stairs, heading to Isabel’s room—her room— needing a moment to get her game face on. He’d no doubt leave with his new conquest, and she’d be able to go back down and be there for her friends, maybe even witness the mambo’s ritual before she found a rebound of her own.
Sure, the idea might not sound that great to her now, but that’s what liquor was for, right?
She started to close the door, but something was blocking her way. Something big and beautiful and angry. BD had followed her?
She hadn’t expected that at all.
“Done with her already? She must be easier than she looked.”
He barged in and slammed the door behind him, turning the lock with a firm, ominous click. “You look beautiful in that dress, Blue Eye
s.”
She took a step back at the predatory look in his eyes. “So everyone keeps saying. I think I’ll go back downstairs. Spend the rest of the night dancing.”
Bethany tried to move past him toward the door, but he was having none of it. He bent his knees, wrapped his arm around her hips and slung her over his shoulder. Her hair fell like a curtain around her, blocking her view. “Put me down.”
He tossed her on the mattress and grabbed hold of her before she could scramble away, positioning her until she was facedown onto his lap.
Her mouth went dry. “What the hell do you think you’re doing?”
“Dancing.” He lifted her skirt, making a disapproving noise as he noticed her sensible underwear. “This was not what I was expecting.”
“My other pair was shredded.” When she remembered why, her breathing grew labored. His grip on her body tightened. He was remembering, too.
The sound of tearing fabric filled the room, and Bethany felt the air hit her bare skin. “Son of a bitch.”
“Language,” he groaned above her, his big hand squeezing and caressing the skin he’d revealed. “We don’t need anything between us, do we, Blue Eyes? Not for this conversation.”
“This is not how normal people have conversations,” she explained to the floor as she tried to wriggle out of his grip. “I get that you wouldn’t know that, so I’ll explain it in terms a sexual being might understand. I’m not in the mood.”
“Liar.”
Her gasp of indignation turned into one of genuine shock as she heard the crack of his palm across her left cheek, the stinging heat following seconds later. He spanked the other cheek, humming in satisfaction at her body’s reaction.
“A-are you spanking me?”
“I am.” He sounded way too pleased with himself. And far too aroused.
“Why?” She wasn’t sure how she felt about it, to be honest. It was a little insulting and insanely erotic. Her body was fully on board with his manhandling, however. It must be. She’d never gotten this wet so quickly before.
“Why?” he repeated. “Why does Bethany deserve a spanking? Let me count the ways. You questioned my manhood, accused me of using subterfuge to seduce you and said I was too pretty to date.”
Smack.
“You ran away from me not once.” Smack. “Not twice.” Smack. Smack. “But three times.”
Good grief. She really shouldn’t be enjoying this so much. Her ass definitely shouldn’t be lifting hopefully, waiting for more.
Where the hell was her pride when she needed it? “I hope I get my turn next,” she bluffed, breathless. “I’ve got my own list, and it involved knee abrasions, caveman tactics and…”
“And what?” he murmured. “Say it.”
“Flirting.”
Smack.
“That was for thinking I would spend a minute of our time together with someone else. For not knowing how hard it’s been to stay away from you before and during the wedding.”
“Didn’t look like you were suffering,” she muttered mutinously, though her body was still pressed against his, longing for his touch.
“Oh, cher.”
“Don’t call me that. I don’t want to be like everyone else.”
He sighed, his palm cupping her cheek possessively. “Bethany, I need you to believe me, in spite of the things you know about what I am. What I’ve been. From the moment I opened my eyes, I knew you were unique. You are the only one I can see. The only one I want.” He slid his hand between her legs, groaning as her arousal coated his fingers. “This is all I can think about, love. I can still taste you on my tongue. So sweet for me.”
“Oh my God.”
He flipped her over, so her back was on the bed and he was hovering above her. “That’s not my name.”
His kiss was voracious and passionate, telling her without words that everything he said was true. He wanted her as badly as she wanted him. Needed her as desperately.
She felt his hand between them, struggling with the buttons of his pants and pushed at his shoulders. “Don’t push me away, Bethany. Please, I can’t—”
“Condoms,” she interrupted, her voice high and panicked. “Maybe Michelle has some stashed in her bathroom.”
Then again, based on her current pregnancy, maybe not.
He smiled in relief, reaching into his pocket and laying the large handful on the pillow beside her. “Benjamin thought I should be prepared this time.”
Bethany licked her lips in anticipation. “I really like Ben.”
BD sent her a mock scowl. “Do I have to spank you again?”
“You can if you want to.”
He laughed at her breathless offer. “Don’t tempt me. And Ben is a good man. But I’m better. Here, I’ll show you.”
She couldn’t resist his cocky grin. She lifted her head off the bed, kissing him with all the pent-up passion she’d been holding in. He opened her mouth with his tongue, grinding his hips almost helplessly against her.
“Let’s get these off you.” She reached between them and their hands tangled in their struggle to undo his pants. She pushed them past his perfect ass, gripping it in her hands to pull him closer, and he growled.
“I have more sympathy for them now. All the men with women who tease them until they’re begging for release.”
“I’m not a tease,” she said, biting his chin. “I can’t even keep my hands off you when I’m mad at you.”
He looked into her eyes intently, as if he couldn’t quite believe she was real. “Whenever I’m not inside you it’s a tease, Blue Eyes. You were a few rooms away for hours, and I was a shadow waiting to be seen again.”
Her heart stuttered and she wrapped her legs around his waist. “We’re even then.”
“My match,” he agreed.
She wanted to be.
The tearing of foil broke through her daze, and she couldn’t help but feel a pang of disappointment that anything would be between them, keeping them apart. But she shook it off, reaching for him, helping him roll it onto his thick erection, enjoying his obvious reaction to her touch.
He slipped his shirt, still buttoned, over his head and looked down at her dress. “I want you to keep it on this first time, love. Want to see your face as you come, wearing the dress I picked for you. Call me a caveman again, but give me my fantasy.”
She used her feet to push his pants down to his ankles. “As long as you’re naked, Caveman, I’m in.”
His chuckle turned into a groan as she took him in her hand again. “Bethany, please, love. I don’t want it to be over before it’s begun.”
“I can’t wait, BD. Please. I want you now.”
He was kissing her again as she guided him inside. He was so big, so thick, but her body remembered pleasure and took him in eagerly.
“Don’t go easy,” she ordered softly. “Don’t hold back. I want you to fuck me hard. I want to feel it for days.”
So she’d never forget.
His expression tightened, grew feral. “You tempt me, Bethany. Beyond reason and redemption. But you don’t know what you’re asking for.”
“Show me.”
He surprised her by rolling onto his back and taking her with him. “I’ll show you everything. But first, I need you to ride me.”
With her dress floating around their hips and his hands sliding into her hair with a firm, almost controlling grip, she hesitated. “I thought you were the ‘rider.’ You’re the one with all the experience.”
His smile tightened at her reference, but he shook his head. “Not this time. Lift your skirts and show me how well you can ride my cock.”
She sat up straighter, crying out as the position pushed him even deeper inside her. “Holy shit.” She lifted her skirt, gathering the flouncing folds in her arms so he could see where they were joined, and rocked experimentally. “Oh. Oh my.”
“That’s right, Blue Eyes. Take me. Make me yours.” He let go of her hair and gripped her hips with his hands, his neck muscl
es straining as he watched his cock disappear inside her again and again. “You were born for this. For me. You don’t know what it does to me, watching this sweet pussy take me inside where I belong. I belong to you. The man I am belongs to you.”
His eyes were dilated and his upper lip had the sheen of sweat as she rocked against him. She wasn’t sure he knew what he was saying, the promises he was making, but it gave an intimacy to the moment that took her breath away.
“BD. Please.”
Unable to deny her or himself, he shifted again, rolling her over and lifting her legs over his shoulders. His first powerful thrust had her shouting his name.
“That’s right. You need me deeper, don’t you? So deep you don’t know where you end and I begin.”
“Yes!”
“Fuck, it’s never been like this. Not even when it was… I can’t think. I need to move.”
Her knees were pinning her long hair, her body bent in half as he pounded against her, so fast and hard the bed started to shake. “I know you. I know you love this,” he rasped, sounding lost. “Bethany, am I hurting you?”
“No,” she swore. “Harder. Take what you need.”
“If I took what I needed we’d never stop. Oh, love, yes.”
It was as if they’d both been possessed. He was taking her so hard her bones rattled, and still she needed more. Her hands slid down his slick back and his gripped her ankles, holding her still for his invasion.
She could die like this. Happily. She never wanted it to end.
“You should be mine,” he groaned softly, barely audible over the sounds of their bodies colliding again and again. “You always should have been mine.”
I always have been.
They came together, their shouts mingling, rising in the quiet room, oblivious to the party going on beneath them. Oblivious to anything but each other.
BD collapsed, catching himself before he fell on top of her and rolling to his side, taking her with him without pulling out of her body.
Bethany was shuddering and trying to catch her breath. Wow. Her shallow pants turned to giggles. Slightly horrified, she tried to hold them back but she couldn’t. Each giggle made him groan as her inner muscles clenched around his still-hard cock.
