  “You two better get out of here and go to your chamber before I order you to leave,” said Corbett.

  “What do you say?” asked Hope, wanting more than ever to make love to her new husband and, hopefully, be impregnated tonight if she were lucky.

  “Lord Corbett, you’re going to need to get that crazy old Callum MacKeefe over here quickly,” said Orrick. “Because I think we’ve got ourselves a stand-in to be the Keeper of the Flame.”

  I hope you enjoyed Orrick and Hope’s story. Orrick first originated in the first book I ever wrote, Lord of the Blade. He was such an intriguing character that I had him making appearances in not only the other books of the Legacy of the Blade Series, but some of my other series as well.

  He needed his story told, and I have been wanting to write this book for quite some time now. As many of you know, I love anything paranormal and often sneak a little magic into most of my books.
