Her Journey (Her Series Book 2)

Although I had to admit, I did notice her tight little ass as she bent to retrieve the camera, and again when she was putting it in her bag. She snapped at me and I said whatever had come to mind back at her. It didn’t matter because the moment her eyes met mine, it felt like I’d been sucker-punched. I sucked in a breath as I gazed at her beauty. Her long hair had fallen over her shoulder, shielding part of her face as she stood, but those eyes of hers were simply stunning. They were an unusual shade of dark blue, emphasized by her dark eyelashes and dark hair. Her curvy hips were encased in jeans and a t-shirt covered her breasts. When she stood she came up to my shoulder, making her over five foot seven inches tall compared to my six foot two.

Her eyes lit up as she snapped at me again. To be honest, I was too busy checking her out to care what she was saying. I did catch the last part of “self-centered dick”, though, which made me smirk. Barely met the bitch and she had nailed me as a dick already. I would have to agree with that assessment.

I grabbed Slam’s and Piro’s arms when they went to go after her and shook my head. She might need a good fucking to calm her ass down, but not from my boys. A frail little thing like her would break in two seconds. She couldn’t handle a real man giving it to her. One day she’d spout off to the wrong person and they’d show her to keep her mouth in check, but we didn’t have time to deal with her.

Once we got into the SUV, I told the boys to take me home. A pile of shit was waiting to be done in my office and I had a sister to track down to give a little chat about respect. Sending off a text to Dirty, I told him to call me. He was the VP of my Motorcycle Club and with the mood I was in, he better fucking do it. I’d sent him out on a run to take care of some club business not long after their appointment, thinking my sister would’ve called me.

At the club house, I angrily made my way to my office. Tearing off my tie and jacket, I flung them across the room. I hated wearing them, but it was what people expected, and until the business was more established, I had to go with it. The club house was mine; I’d used my parents’ life insurance to buy it. It was on a five-acre lot, and while it was only two stories tall, it had more than ten bedrooms and plenty of places to get some pussy. I used to love fucking all the women who were constantly around, couldn’t get enough of it. Then one day, it was just old. Who gets tired of fucking easy whores who didn’t care who was fucking them, as long as they got all the perks of being around the club? Most were trying to land one of the guys and become an old lady, but it wasn’t going to happen to me. Never. I’d rather never have sex again than be tied down. I had enough people constantly riding my ass, I didn’t need to add to it.

Sitting down in my chair, I turned to look out the window in my office; it looked out over the backyard, which was filled with a bunch of tables, chairs and ashtrays. The newest addition was a pool. I had been against it, but after hearing the motherfuckers bitch all the time about the heat in the summer, I finally caved and had one put in. Plus, it’d been the perfect excuse to have the garage put in as well. Construction crews were already coming and going; might as well get all the work done at the same time.

My phone rang, breaking the silence. The ring tone told me it was Dirty.

“Whats the emergency?” Dirty said as soon as I answered.

“How’d the doctor appointment go?” I asked folding my hands over my stomach and leaning back in my chair.

“Ryan didn’t call you? She said she was going to.” Dirty sighed.

“Just tell me how it went then whenever she gets off her ass and tells me, I’ll act all surprised.” The dude was more pussy-whipped than any other man I’d ever met. If I didn’t know he was a mean fucker when you got on his bad side, I’d have made fun of him. Deep down, I was glad he was with Ryan. He treated her better than any other man would.

“You know I can’t do that, Wrench. You’re putting my balls in a tight spot.”

“I didn’t ask about the kinky shit you two are into. I just want to know if I’m going to be having a niece or nephew yet.” Fuck, this conversation was making me sound like a pussy. Only Ryan could turn me into a little bitch and she didn’t even need me to be around to do it.

“Fine. Fuck. Twins. We’re having twins. We go back in a couple weeks for another check-up.” Dirty groaned into the phone.

“Congrats. Two little shits to drive you crazy at once.”

“Yeah. Let’s hope they’re boys. I don’t know if I can handle two more of Ryan,” Dirty laughed.

“Well, either way. Congratulations, my man.” I turned around in my chair. “Where is Ryan, anyway? She isn’t answering my texts.”

“She was supposed to meet up with Melia for lunch. Said she wanted to get to know her or some chick shit like that. I’m sure she’ll be back at the house soon enough.”

“Fine. Get back to work,” I said, hitting the end button on my phone before tossing it on the desk and walking out of the office. I needed a breather from the stress that was constantly coming at me when I was in there. I flung myself back on one of the couches in the game room. Immediately, there was a woman next to me. One of the many whores who were constantly around. Without a word, I unzipped my pants, pulling out my semi-hard cock and looked from it to the woman. She dropped to her knees and instantly started sucking me. I leaned back and closed my eyes as she worked. That was a sweet way to take a load off. I didn’t even have to say a word.

“Boss, your phone was ringing.” Slam handed me the phone I’d left on my desk. Fuck. I couldn’t even escape for a minute. Glaring at him, I snatched the phone from his hand and put it to my ear.

“What?” I growled, grabbing the back of the woman’s head when she started to pull away. Making my message clear; she wasn’t done just because I was on the phone, but to be sure, I said, “I didn’t say to fucking stop.”

“Seriously. At least stop fucking when you answer the phone.” Ryan’s disgusted voice floated over the line. I rolled my eyes even though she couldn’t see me.

“What, did you finally realize I was looking for you?” I rested my head against the back of the couch. The woman had no idea what the fuck she was doing with my cock. I would not be getting off unless she changed what she was doing. From the feel of it, it was possible she’d never sucked cock before. Trying to listen to Ryan but also get some pleasure out of the whore, I fisted my hand in her hair and attempted to show her a rhythm that felt better than what she was doing.

“Yes, I did. Sorry, Master. I didn’t realize I needed to report in immediately,” Ryan sarcastically replied. “I just got time to return your call. We’re pregnant and it’s twins. I hope they are both girls so they can drive their uncle even more crazy than he already is.”

It was easy to tell she was trying not to sound as happy and excited as she truly was. Always hiding behind her tough exterior. “Well, congrats on the brats. When am I going to meet this woman who is carrying the babes?”

“Never, if I have anything to say about it,” Ryan answered immediately.

“Don’t be a bitch. Why? Is it a secret or something?” When the woman between my thighs squeezed my balls tightly, I arched my hips into her mouth. That was more like it.

“No. I just know you’ll scare her. You’re too rough around the edges for a nice girl like her.”

“I can behave, you know.” I groaned, feeling my balls tighten as the bitch kept squeezing as she let my cock repeatedly hit the back of her throat. It gagged her; that alone had me tightening my grip on her hair making her do it again and again.

“What the fuck ever! You don’t even have the manners to stop the bitch sucking your dick long enough to talk to your sister,” Ryan hissed at me.

“I hear you and Dirty all the time. What’s the difference?” I lowered the phone from my ear as I shot my load down the bitch’s throat. I took a minute to get my bearings again. It wasn’t even close to a good blow job, but it eased my balls and the tension.

“We are at least in our own bedroom. Where
are you right now?” Ryan was saying as I put the phone back to my ear.

“In my office,” I lied. I didn’t care who saw. I was getting off when I wanted and they could deal or they could get the fuck out of my place.

“That whole fucking room needs to be sterilized, you know? How many women have you fucked in there? Wait. I don’t want to know.” Ryan sighed. I heard another voice in the background. “All right, Melia is back. I’ll talk to you later.”

  “I want to meet her.”

“No.” Ryan said, and hung up on me. I laughed, pushing the bitch away from me. I was done with her. Time to get back to work.

  ~Melia~

I came out of the bathroom after lunch to find Ryan on the phone. She was talking about some room needing to be sterilized because so many women had been fucked there. I didn’t think I wanted to know what she was talking about. I sat back across from her and smile.

“I’m almost done.” Ryan lowered the phone to tell me.

“It’s fine.” I smiled. Exhaustion was creeping in, but I didn’t want to end my time with Ryan. It was actually nice to have a friend. I didn’t know anyone else in the area yet. Without a job to force me to talk to people, my interactions with new people were limited. I talked with people all the time online for my business, but that was different. Ryan ended her phone conversation and set it on the table.

“Sorry, annoying brother.” She shrugged and I smiled.

  “I wouldn’t know. I don’t have any siblings.”

“Oh, that’s right. I should let you come hang out at the house and meet all the guys. You’ll feel like you have a hundred brothers before you know it.” Ryan laughed. My eyes got wide. I was scared shitless of the side of her life that dealt with the bikers. She swore they were all good guys, but that’s not what I found when I looked them up online. They were a bad group of bikers who got into fights quite often. I wasn’t necessarily afraid of them, but I didn’t want to disappear never to be seen again either.

“No, it’s okay. I’m good being an only child.” I laughed nervously.

“One day I’ll take you there. Then you can see they really aren’t that bad. I mean, you know me, right? You know Ellis. We aren’t crazy… well, we aren’t mean, right?” Ryan ran a hand through her short hair and frowned at my reaction.

“Nah. You two are different though. You’ve had a rough road that’s given you and him an incredible relationship.”

“Through hell and back. As much shit as I might talk, I love those guys. I think you would to. You just have to know how to walk the fine line between not letting them walk all over you and not going too far. If you show them you aren’t a door mat, they’ll respect you for it. However, if you go too far, they’ll be sure to put you back in your place. Then there are the ones with a hair trigger, like my brother, and it’s probably best you stay away from them. I’m his sister so I get away with more than most, but he’s kind of a dick to everyone else.” Ryan shook her head and smiled. “Anyway, this was fun. We should totally do it again. I don’t really do a whole lot right now. I’m trying to help Wrench get his business in order and organized, but I could pretty much meet you any time you want. I don’t want you to ever feel like you are alone during this pregnancy.”

“Thank you. It’s good to know. And who on earth is Wrench? What kind of name is that?” I giggled.

“My brother. It’s his road name, what everyone calls him. I guess I forget everyone isn’t used to those types of names. It’s like two different worlds. The motorcycle club life, then so-called civilian life,” Ryan explained.

“So, what’s your street name?” I was curious. I’d never heard her called anything else. “Is it Ryan? Is that why no one calls you Shannon?”

“Ugh, don’t use that name. It’s so girly. I’m Ryan, no one calls me Shannon. Ellis is Dirty. He’ll answer to either from us, but if one of the guys from the club calls him Ellis, he’ll knock ‘em out.” Ryan shrugged. “That’s just how it is.”

“And that’s why those guys scare the crap out of me. One wrong move or comment and you get a fist.” I shuddered at the thought of getting punched by someone the size of Ellis. I really hadn’t known what I was getting into when we started this process. I was just glad that, although they were from an environment like that, they didn’t act that way towards me or expect me to live like them.

“Nah. They don’t hit women. Not like you’re thinking, anyway. Women are treated on a different level for the most part. Women have two roles in the house. You’re either respected, which is mostly reserved for the Old Ladies— you know, the ones who’ve married one of the guys. Then there are the whores, who are treated, well, like whores.” Ryan laughed softly.

“An old lady?” I asked, horrified. Who wanted to be called that? Not me that’s for damn sure.

“You have got to relax, woman. You don’t have to go to the club house unless you want to. I won’t force you to meet them, especially not pregnant.” Ryan’s eyes softened as she lowered her eyes to my stomach. “Speaking of, why don’t we get you back to your place so you can lie down? You look tired, and they say it’s exhausting making babies.”

I smiled and went along with her plan. As I lay in my bed later that afternoon, I looked up at my ceiling, thinking. I had thought I was so strong when I was in DC. I was independent, had a great job, did whatever I wanted whenever I wanted. Ever since I’d moved to Arizona I felt like I was getting weaker and weaker. My photography business was hurting, every single time Ryan or Ellis brought up the club I shivered in fear and now I was pregnant and hormonal to add to it all.

Deciding it was time to stop feeling sorry for myself, I got up from the bed and fired up my computer. It was time to get my head back in the game and get my pictures uploaded to my website, or at least off my camera so I could alter them if need be. Time to work. Center and focus my world. Work would always be there. It would help support me and take care of me. It was all I really needed in life.

So that’s what I did for the next couple of weeks. I would chat with Ryan on the phone every day about how I was feeling, but I refused her offer for lunch every day. I needed to get myself in order and back on my feet; otherwise, I’d fall apart. Work got me through my mother’s death and it would get me through this new transition in life. It had to. I had bills to pay and I made more than enough, if I kept on top of it. Plus, the morning sickness kept me looking haggard, so I didn’t want to have to brave the world unless I absolutely had to.

When my next doctor appointment rolled around, I had to stop working and living out of my apartment. I had to go out and interact with society. Sadly, I barely fit into any of my clothes. I was only freaking eight weeks pregnant! I slipped into a loose skirt and a top that used to be loose. Not any longer! I was always fairly slim, but even with the morning sickness, my belly was noticeably bigger.

I met Ryan and Ellis at the curb of my apartment and Ryan immediately put her hand on my belly, smiling freakishly big at me. “Look at how big you’ve gotten.”

“Thanks,” I said dryly. It was not something any woman wanted to hear, even though I knew it was a good thing for the babies.

“How are you feeling?” Ryan slipped into the back of the little black car they drove, giving me the passenger seat.

“Okay. Some days are better than others.” I shrugged, shutting the door after I’d gotten comfortable.

“You know, I really wish you’d let me come stay with you and help take care of you,” Ryan suggested for what had to be the twentieth time that week alone.

“I’m okay, really. I’m used to taking care of myself.” I wasn’t about to tell her that between working and my all-day morning sickness I really didn’t do much else but sleep. I didn’t want someone to have to deal with it. It was horrible enough dealing with it myself.

Ryan and Ellis started talking about baby things and I tuned them out as we headed toward the doctor’s office. I was feeling nauseated from the car movement, but didn’t want to co
mplain, so I closed my eyes and leaned my head back against the head rest.

“Everything okay?” Ellis asked looking at me warily.

“Yep.” I forced a smile for him. I did the same thing when the doctor asked me the same question a while later when he finally got to our room. It was over thirty minutes after our appointment time. I seriously hoped he wasn’t always so far behind. He asked me a mile-long list of questions about how I was feeling and I answered to the best of my ability.

“So, you’re getting sick how many times a day?” He repeated to me at the very end.

“Three, four, five… I don’t know. I guess it depends. I don’t really keep count.” I shrugged. I was getting used to it, not that I liked it.

“And you said you had some bleeding. How bad is the bleeding and how often has it happened?” He asked.

“Spotting?” I shrugged. “Every few days I guess. I looked it up online. They said spotting was normal early on in pregnancy so I didn’t think anything of it. Should I have?”

Ryan looked from me to the doctor to Ellis then back to me, her eyes wide. I could see her squeeze Ellis’s hand from where they sat next to each other next to me.

“It can be. Let’s get an ultrasound machine in here and take a look, okay?” The doctor walked from the room, leaving the door cracked open behind him.

“Why didn’t you tell me any of this stuff?” Ryan looked more hurt than I expected. I hadn’t thought she’d really care about it.

“I’m sorry. I really didn’t think it was anything. It might not be.” The doctor didn’t seem all that worried, but she looked like I’d sucker punched her in the gut.
