Bones: The Black Cobra MC #4

I looked over at Bones again and he wasn’t watching me anymore. He was staring into space, at nothing, at a point on the wall, clutching his bottle of whisky like it was his most prized possession.

“I’m sure you’ve figured him out by now.” I heard a voice behind me and turned to find Patch standing there, one hand in his pocket, another holding a can of beer.

  “Who? Bones?”

  “Who else?”

“Yeah, sure, I have him figured out. He likes to get his way.”

Patch smiled at that and nodded.

“You know he means well, right? He just doesn’t know how to express himself in the right way.” I rolled my eyes at that.

“He views me as some damsel in distress, some princess trapped in a high castle whom he needs to rescue. He can’t wrap his head around the fact that this princess can ride her own horse and wield her own sword.”

Patch was smirking, and he nodded.

“I think you’re mistaken; I think he knows exactly the kind of woman he’s dealing with and he just doesn’t know what to do about it.”

We both looked at Bones at the same time, he was still staring off into the far distance. I heard Patch sigh behind me, and I looked over at him again, he was half-smiling, like he sympathized with me. Wait. What did he think was happening here?

“It’s not like…we just…nothing is actually…” I started fumbling with my words. Panicking. Patch reached out and put a hand on my shoulder to stop me from embarrassing myself with stupid excuses any further.

“You did well tonight, Thea. I’m sure your brother, wherever he is right now, is proud of you for following through with your plan this far and that is exactly what Bones wants to convey to you too.”

I gulped. My throat had gone dry. He gave me a full smile and turned around and walked off to a different group.

I could have gone over to the pool table and continued playing with the other guys. In fact, it might have been a good idea to put some distance and time between Bones and myself, but just like before, something was drawing me to him again. I couldn’t walk away.

I took another swig of my beer. Which number was that? Fifth? Sixth? I’d lost count by then. I swayed on my feet but found my way to Bones’ table. His eyes shifted from that spot on the wall he’d been staring at and he finally looked at me again.

“Good job tonight,” he said, drawling his voice, taking another long sip of his whisky.

“C’mon, that’s not what you’re really thinking are you? You can spit it out. What’s really on your mind?”

I slid into the chair across from him at the table. Bones stared at me with his narrowed green eyes. His dark stubble looked even darker, rougher now in the shadows of this corner. His face was chiseled and so handsome. Was it just the alcohol or was he even sexier right now for real?

“No, it’s the truth, that is exactly what’s on my mind. You handled yourself really well in there.”

“Then why are you sitting here, brooding in the corner while everyone else is celebrating?”

Bones leaned over the table a little and for a moment I thought he was going to reach over and touch me.

“You know, Thea, not everything is about you,” he said instead, keeping his hands to himself. But I wanted him to touch me.

“Okay, so tell me what it is about, then,” I asked him. I knew my voice was husky and sultry, full of meaning. I was staring right into his eyes. I knew I was asking for trouble. I should have walked away right then. I shouldn’t have been here in this shadowy dark corner with Bones. I should have been back there, celebrating with the other guys.

Under the table, I swung my feet slowly so that it grazed against his leg. Bones didn’t seem to have a reaction to that.

“I don’t have to tell you anything,” he said, but not in a defensive way. It was like he was agreeing to play along with my mood. I kicked my shoe off under the table because I wanted more, and Bones didn’t budge. I moved my foot up his calf, up his leg till it was resting against his knee. He had his legs together, but now he was prying them wide open.

We were still staring at each other; he knew what I wanted, and I could see he wanted the same thing.

“You don’t have to tell me for me to know what you’re thinking right now,” I said, slurring my words. Bones clenched his jaw tightly, but he wasn’t angry. He was clutching the bottle of whisky too tightly too.

“And what do you think is on my mind?”

“What my foot is going to do in the next second.”

As I said it my foot slid onto the chair between his legs. I had to slide a little down on the chair I was sitting, so I could reach myself out to his cock. But it was right there, it wasn’t too difficult to reach. He was already stiff and growing in his pants. I maneuvered my foot over it, and he released his grip on the whisky bottle.

“What are you trying to do to me, Thea?” Bones grunted.

I leaned over the table towards him, while my foot stroked his cock. I chewed down on my lip as he watched me.

“I’m trying to make you see that you can’t be a sourpuss with me for too long, even if you tried,” I told him. Bones’ eyes seemed to be coming alive, just like his cock was.

Then I pulled my foot away from him and stood up. Just when he was least expecting it.

“We should get out of here,” I said, standing over him. Bones stood up too, towering over me now, glaring down at me with force.

“We don’t have the time to go anywhere else,” he growled and grabbing my hand he started leading the way and my heart thumped against my chest as he dragged me to the back of the clubhouse. It was exactly where I wanted to go.

  * * *

Once again, Bones and I were alone in a back room of the clubhouse together. The only difference this time was there was no doubt about what was going to take place. It seemed like we had given up any plan on holding back from each other.

I wanted him. He wanted me.

Bones grabbed me by the nape as soon as he shut the door behind me. The room was dark, it could have been a supply closet. There was only one small windowpane at the top of one wall through which the silvery light of the moon was filtering through.

My eyes adjusted to the dark and I could see him now. I ran my hands over his pumped thick biceps as he held me tightly. He pulled me to himself and we were kissing. His tongue slid between my lips and he kissed me ferociously. I kissed him back, holding his arms, feeling the warmth of his body against mine.

Our tongues slid and glided over each other’s and I felt like I was beginning to lose my breath, but it didn’t matter. All that mattered was that he was kissing me, that I was finally with Bones again.

The whole time I was there with Gunther, whenever he touched me, or some other man looked at me—all I could think about was how desperately I wanted it to be Bones. What I wouldn’t have given for him to look at me like that instead!

  And now he was here.

When our lips parted, he held me by my face, with both his hands and he kissed my forehead. There was that sliver of tenderness again! It was like a magic trick, like a bunny he pulled out of a hat. These sudden moments of sweetness that sent shivers down my spine. But it was gone in the next moment as his hands moved down my front. He held by breasts tightly, squeezing them. My nipples were erect. I was so turned on. I wanted him to rip this dress apart the way he’d done with my stockings before.

His fingers stroked my sensitive nipples and I sighed and moaned and swung in his arms. This was exactly what I needed to feel. Bones’ body against mine. His cock in my hands. This was the best way for me to forget about Gunther and all that other unpleasantness.

I reached for his cock. He was hard in his pants and I stroked him. We stared into each other’s eyes as I stroked him harder and then I undid his belt. I pulled down his zip and his pants fell down to the floor.

Bones grunted, yanking me by my hips closer to him. I clutched his cock, stroking him quicker now but I wanted mo
re. I wanted him to feel just as good as he made me feel.

With my eyes still on him, I got down on my knees in front of him. Bones weaved his fingers into my hair, clutching a bunch of it in his fist.

I opened my mouth wide. His big veiny cock was hanging right in front of my eyes. This cock that would barely even fit in my mouth. Was I going to gag on it? I didn’t care. I needed a part of him inside me.

I held on to his cock and moved my tongue towards the tip of him. His clutch on my hair got tighter and then I was sliding him down my tongue…down my throat, till his cock had reached way back down there.

I was on my knees and the floor was rough, but I didn’t care. All I cared about was how good Bones’ cock felt in my mouth. I could feel him growing, I could sense the kind of control I had over his body, over his senses and how he reacted to me.

I held on to his thighs tightly with both hands. They were like two thick tree trunks. So strong and muscular. I loved holding him, I loved feeling him in my hands.

I couldn’t wait for the moment when he was going to lift me up in his arms and I’d be riding him. I bobbed my head back and forth, with his cock thrusting in and out of my mouth. I could taste the pre-cum, the salty taste of his juices in my mouth.

Bones grunted and growled like a wild animal with every thrust. I could feel him shuddering with desire and growing. How much bigger was he going to grow? I could barely get halfway down his cock, but he was going to pump his full length into my pussy.

I could already feel the heat and the wetness between my legs.

And just as I was about to stop and demand to be taken by him, we heard the gunshots.

“The fuck!” Bones growled with rage, pulling himself out of my mouth hurriedly. I bounced away from him in fright. The shot sounded too close to us, right outside the clubhouse.

Bones was pulling up his pants. I wanted to stop him; I didn’t want anything interrupting this. It was probably just some of the guys acting silly. But he rushed to the window to look out.

“Fuck no!” he grunted as he zipped up his pants.

“What’s going on?” I asked, sitting cross-legged and confused on the floor now.

“You stay right here, don’t leave this room. Don’t let him see you.” Bones was rushing to the door. What was he talking about?

“Who is it? What is happening?” I screamed at him just as he was about to step out of the room.

“It’s Gunther and his guys. They’re attacking us. Stay out of his way so he doesn’t see you, the plan could get ruined,” Bones said and then he was gone.

  * * *

I had to stand up to see what was going on, stand on my tip-toes to look out through the window. Bones had warned me to stay down and away, to make sure Gunther and his men didn’t see me—but I couldn’t help it. I needed to look. I needed to make sure Bones was okay.

I had never been this up-close to violence before. Even though my mind had always been filled with images of it, I’d imagined what a full-fledged shootout would look like, what gunshots would sound like, but I wasn’t prepared for this feeling. Of utter danger. How did Bones just brazenly run towards it like that?

There was Gunther, on the back of a bike that was making circles in the parking lot outside the clubhouse. He had two guns in both his hands, which he was shooting right at the building, in no direction without aim, his face was twisted in crazy laughter. It was obvious that he was drunk and out of his mind. He was just doing this for fun.

But he was surrounded by a gang of his guys, bodyguards and men from his new club. Some of them were taking potshots at the clubhouse too, while some were just standing there, keeping their guns aimed at the clubhouse for any kind of retaliation.

Of course, the Black Cobras weren’t expecting this tonight. They were in the middle of celebrating! I could hear commotion in the bar outside the door, high voices of guys shouting out orders to stay down or shoot at Gunther and his men.

It was Grimm and Bones who eventually emerged through, with their own guns held up. Gunther stopped shooting, the guy riding him around on the bike slowed it down too.

“The Kings have finally made an appearance! I’m honored,” Gunther declared. His voice was thin and garbled with alcohol. I gulped as I watched, afraid for Bones’ life. Gunther could shoot at him any moment now. Why was he doing this? Why was he putting himself in danger like this?

“What the fuck do you want, Gunther? You want a shootout now? We could arrange it. Really go at it and see who comes out the winner,” Bones growled. Gunther was still laughing. Nothing about this was funny.

It made me sick just watching them talk. This was the man who had killed my brother. This was the man who I let touch me. How could I do it? A part of me just wanted Bones to do it right now. To just pull the trigger and kill him right there. But then all hell would break loose. None of these guys would be getting out of it alive if anything happened to Gunther. He was surrounded by trained, armed professionals. Besides, I wanted to do it myself.

“Just having some fun, why so grumpy…Bones?” Gunther called back, saying Bones’ name with a lot of meaning.

  “You’re causing serious damage here.”

“You want compensation?” Gunther laughed again.

“I want you out and away from this place. This is our property. Stay off it. If you want to talk to us, set up a meeting.”

“Since when did you guys get so corporate?” Gunther exclaimed and then looked around at his men and chuckled.

“What the fuck do you want from us?” Grimm shouted. The rest of the club had gathered behind Grimm and Bones now, armed and ready to shoot back at Gunther and his gang if the need arose. It was obvious that Gunther wasn’t going to take any chances now, he knew they were equally matched in this situation.

“Just want you boys to know that I’m coming for you. You think just because you managed to conk Lynch and the rest of the Sons of Satan ran away with their tails between their legs; that I would be doing the same…you’re fuckin’ wrong!” Gunther swayed on the back of the bike as he spat out the words, swinging his guns in the air now.

Bones and Grimm remained silent at that.

“You better fuckin’ watch your backs because you’re finished. I’m not giving up till I’ve had both your heads!” Gunther growled and with his guns he pointed at both Grimm and Bones.

Even though Gunther was drunk, and I was watching the scene from a distance, and I had complete confidence in the guys to be able to defend themselves…I couldn’t help but feel worried when I saw that scene unfold. I felt a chill run down my spine when I heard Gunther’s voice.

Even though they might have just been the words of a drunken madman, I couldn’t help but feel cold and worried at that.

Gunther whistled aloud and it seemed to be the cue for the rest of his gang to pack up and leave the premises.

I watched too as they rode away, shouting and singing drunkenly, waving their weapons around in the air.

I slid down the wall, shuddering even though I wasn’t cold.

I thought I was prepared for this kind of thing. I thought I would be able to handle it. Drake would have been able to handle it! But now I felt nothing but utterly afraid for what Gunther was capable of doing. Was it the guns? His words and his promises? The smell of danger in the air?

What had I gotten myself mixed up in?

  And Bones.

Gunther was coming straight for Bones. What was going to happen to him? I couldn’t help but feel worried about his safety…I didn’t even know why I felt that way, but I did.

I needed to go out and see him. I needed to see if he was doing okay. He was probably not even thinking about me and all I could think about was I wanted him to be safe. Gunther needed to be stopped.

  Bones

We waited and watched till Gunther and the last of his men had ridden off into the dark, away from the clubhouse. Till the last sounds of their bike engines and muscle cars had disappeared
into the night.

We should have been prepared for something like this to happen. The first rule in this game was to not expect the predictable; especially if you were playing the game with fuckin’ Gunther. What were we thinking? Celebrating! Nothing was over yet.

Tonight’s attack was just a drunken teaser, he was completely capable of pulling off something like this soon again.

“I’m going to call Samantha and get her to bring the Doc around to help out Bender,” Patch suggested as we turned to walk back into the bar. I looked around, nobody was majorly hurt, but there were some bleeding knees and bloody shirts. In the first few minutes when they took us by surprise; Gunther and the gang had shot randomly everywhere.

Windows of the clubhouse had been shattered, some of the boys had been hit. I looked over myself and couldn’t see any wounds…not yet anyway.

When we walked back in, we found Bender and a few other guys trying to clean up around the place. I heard Thea’s heels clicking down the hallway and then she was bursting in through the door, huffing and panting.

“You cool?” Rogue asked her as she stood there, watching us with her eyes wide and aghast.

“What was that about?” she said, gulping. Cash smirked and shook his head.

“Just another regular night on the job, nothing else.”

Her nostrils were flared, she looked like she needed a drink and to sit down. The color had drained from her face, her mouth was clasped shut. Those were the very lips that were around my cock just seconds before we heard the gunshots outside. Memory of Thea’s mouth on my cock made me pulse and my muscles tighten up again.

Her gaze fell on me and I noticed how her eyes swept all over my body—like she was checking to make sure I hadn’t taken a hit.

Was she actually worried for my safety? But she looked away quickly, like she didn’t want to be caught in the act.

“I don’t…I don’t understand why he would do something like this…so stupid. A surprise attack on you guys in the middle of the night, while him and his men are that drunk?” She came towards us, while we started spilling around the bar, ordering drinks to calm the nerves.
