The Hidden Society

Hidden Society knew it would decades before all their questions would be answered. And there would be hundreds of history books written about the Hidden Society and its impact on history maybe longer than the Hidden Society had existed.

Within two years the Hidden Society’s power and wealth were things of the past. To be found only in history books. All of its members and soldiers were either dead or in prison for life.

The Ames Ranch and Hotel was bought by a private hotel corporation and kept as a dude ranch for those who liked to relive the good old days of the American Wild West. Its connection with the Hidden Society added to its fame, and the number of people booking rooms in the hotel increased to the point where bookings had to be made two years in advance. Guests had to show up within twenty-four hours after making a reservation to be sure of having a room. Paid tours were conducted through the Society’s underground headquarters. A few of the first guests complained about the stink in the conference room and corridor where the bodies of the twenty-two members were found.

And no one in the world knew that Larson, Marlene, Dorothy, and Dodge had brought down the Hidden Society. And no one ever would know because the three were just private citizens and the forth lay in an unmarked grave in Nevada. Like Dodge Dorothy was finally free.

But there was an unanswered question. Who had downloaded the information about the Hidden Society on the Internet? The question would never be answered, because no one had bothered to dust the keyboard Larson had used for finger prints until two years later, and then it was too late. Over two hundred different FBI agents and computer experts had used the keyboard to see if there was information in the servers than hadn’t been downloaded. Getting information about the Hidden Society was more important than checking for finger prints on a computer keyboard.
