I moved my hips against his and he took it as his queue to start. I don’t think that I’ve ever felt anything more wonderful in my entire life than when Aiden was making love to me. I was on my second orgasm when he finally allowed his own release to happen. After a long groan that reverberated throughout his entire body, Aiden finally rested. His body weight was heavy on top of me, but I cherished the pressure. Before long, he took most of it off me, resting on his forearms looking down into my eyes.
“I love you,” He said simply, though his tone implied so much more.
It was at that moment that I realized that Aiden was my forever. I’d heard a lot of people in my life talk about ‘finding your forever’, but I never truly understood what it meant until that moment. I never wanted to be without him, I never wanted to not wake up without him beside me.
“I love you too,” I replied, my voice heavy with newfound tears, suddenly feeling overcome with emotion.
Aiden understood without me saying anything as he rolled off of my body and wrapped his arms around me. His chest became my pillow, catching my silent tears as I cried.
I always laughed in the past when I heard about women crying after sex. I thought they were just being dramatic and making more out of the situation than was necessary. Now I knew better though. I don’t think I could ask for anybody better than Aiden. There I was, crying like a baby on his chest after we made love, and he was softly petting my hair and murmuring the occasional words of love.
My crying fest was interrupted by my stomach growling loudly, when I laughed, it sounded like a sob.
“We never did get to eat, did we?” I could hear the smile in his voice. “How does breakfast in bed sound?”
“Like too much?” I offered, suddenly feeling embarrassed. “I’m just going to go get a bowl of cereal or something,” I said softly before attempting to pull away. Aiden held onto me though, making it impossible to move.
“Look at me,” He demanded. I moved my face towards him but made sure not to make eye contact. “Why are you pulling away?” He asked, sounding wounded.
He didn’t mean physically; there was a weird connection between us and he knew I was mentally closing myself off.
I sighed and looked up, staring directly into his eyes.
“I feel embarrassed, and… I don’t know, exposed?” I offered. “I just cried like crazy on you and you did most of the work and you watched me orgasm and I’m naked still and my stomach ruined a moment and I’m ju…” My rant was cut off by Aiden kissing me.
“Stop over thinking everything,” he said soothingly when we pulled apart. “I like that you trust me with your tears. I’m kind of dominant in bed and I wanted to make you happy. Watching you orgasm basically made me feel way manlier than I actually am. I prefer you without your clothes on. And if anything, your stomach just gave us an excuse to refuel for later.”
“I’m sorry,” I groaned, covering my face with my hands and falling back onto the bed.
I realized just how stupid I was being. I hated being such a damn girl. Being more like a guy than a girl, was my thing. I was supposed to laugh at girls being overly emotional, not be one.
Aiden grabbed my wrists and forced them away from my face. “I love you, babe,” He said before pecking my lips. “Now, what should we eat for breakfast?”
Chapter 14
I woke up the next morning and I could still feel his breath on my neck and his arms around me.
I rolled over and stretched my arms and legs. The warm sheets felt like silk. Aiden stirred next to me.
“Good morning,” he murmured.
I smiled and knew I just wanted to lay there and do nothing else. I didn’t want to speak. I didn’t want to do anything but be in his arms.
Aiden rolled over on top of me and his erection found its way between my legs. I could feel it pressing against my thigh and immediately got turned on.
I ran my hands down his washboard abs then moved my hands up to clasp the back of his neck. I pulled him down so I could taste his earlobe. As soon as my tongue touched his ear I felt his cock twitch.
Aiden kissed his way down my neck and chest. I moaned as he gently sucked and licked my flesh until I felt like I might orgasm from just that simple, yet sensual act.
He looked up at me as he moved down to my belly and then carefully positioned himself between my legs. The soft kisses he planted on the inside of my thigh left a lingering burn.
I drew in a deep breath and held it, afraid of the sounds I might make if I let myself breathe.
His lips closed around my sensitive flesh and began to stimulate my clit. He alternated between light strokes in an out-of-this-world swirling pattern.
My entire body was warm with pleasure, before finally the pressure built in my core and I started to explode. He hooked his arm around my thighs to steady me as he gently sucked on my flesh. I cried out his name, unable to contain myself. He kept his mouth on my clit, as my orgasm ripped through me.
When my body finally stopped twitching he moved up and placed his hands on the pillow on either side of my head, leaning down to kiss me.
He lowered himself down onto his elbows so that our noses were almost touching, then one so his hands reached down between us so that he could guide himself in me.
He moved slowly in and out of me, just a tiny bit more with each stroke.
He leaned in to kiss me and my whole world fell away. I coiled my arms around his neck and I wrapped my legs around his hips, coaxing him further inside of me.
“Don’t stop baby,” I whispered.
He began to thrust harder and faster. He groaned and I could tell he was fighting to keep his eyes open as he grew closer and closer to orgasm.
This was the way sex was supposed to feel, the closeness, the primal connection. I wanted more of him, I need all he could give me.
“Harder, harder,” I panted.
And Aiden gave me exactly what I wished for. He started slamming his cock inside of me. It was all so overwhelming and wonderful.
As I felt I was about to go over the edge, I felt him get tighter inside of me. I clenched all my muscles. My arms wrapped around him and my nails scored his back.
“Aiden, oh God, Aiden,” I screamed.
And with a final thrust, I climaxed. I breathed hard as I hit the maximum level of ecstasy. Soon, Aiden grunted softly and he let go inside of me.
That afternoon, Aiden drove me home. Since he didn’t have a game or practice, he joined me inside.
“Hey guys,” I greeted, seeing Ethan and Kira sitting on the couch.
It was odd that they were at my house being that Ethan had his own place. I didn’t really care though, I loved seeing them.
As soon as Kira saw me, she started smiling like a patient in a psych ward.
“How was your night?” She asked suggestively.
My blush told her everything.
“How about you help me in the kitchen? I was just about to make something to eat,” she said.
I wanted to refuse, but I knew that wasn’t really an option.
“Sure,” I grumbled before turning to kiss Aiden.
It was a chaste kiss, which felt a little odd after the kind we were sharing not too long ago, in his bed. He smiled and kissed me back, wishing me luck. I glared at him before going to the kitchen.
As soon as I entered the room, Kira was jumping up and down, and hugged me.
“You had sex!” She practically yelled.
My eyes widened and I covered her mouth with my hand.
“Would you shut up?” I pleased, making sure she was quiet before I pulled away.
She looked at me expectantly and I smiled. “Yes, I had sex. But it wasn’t even sex… it was… better than that.”
She giggled and started getting things out to make popcorn, which I didn’t really find all that weird; Kira loved popcorn no matter what time of day it was.
“Tell me everything!”
She looked more excited than she should.
I narrowed my eyes at her.
“Why?”
“Because your brother is holding out on me…” She trailed off.
“What? Why?”
That didn’t sound like Ethan. He was a total horn dog. Why would he purposely hold out and not get sex when he could?
“Because I’m pregnant and we’re getting married in two months,” she blurted out.
I screamed and covered my mouth with my hands before basically attacking her with a huge hug.
“Oh my god! Oh My GOD! OH MY GOD!”
Kira looked thrilled by my reaction.
We heard thundering footsteps coming towards the kitchen then “What the hell is wrong in here? Are you okay? Is the baby okay?” Ethan looked panicked.
I laughed harder and threw my arms around him.
“Congratulations, daddy!” I pulled away and punched his arm as hard as I could. “Why didn’t you tell me you knocked up my best friend?”
“Ow Emm,” He pouted, rubbing his arm. “I wanted to but she wanted to be the one to tell you.” He pointed his finger accusingly at Kira.
Aiden stood behind Ethan, looking confused, “Wait, what’s going on here?” He asked, looking between the three of us.
I screeched again, unable to help myself. “Kira’s pregnant!”
“For real?” Aiden asked, looking at her stomach.
“Yes for real.”
I was happy for my brother and Kira. My brother could be annoying and immature at times, but I knew he had a big heart and would be a great father, devoting his entire life to making sure that kid was happy.
Chapter 15
The next two weeks passed by quickly. While I was busy with school, Aiden was busy either at practice or with his games. Pre-season wasn’t as busy as the regular season, he told me, but still it wasn’t like he was just sitting around either. He was either at practice or in the gym, and of course once a week he had a game.
It wasn’t always easy to find time for each other, but we somehow made it work.
Tonight was the first away game of our relationship. Aiden was in New York and I was at home watching him on TV. It seemed weird to me sometimes, that most people have their significant other leave and can only call. But not me, I could actually watch Aiden on TV from the comfort of my living room.
I was curled up on the couch with Ethan on one side of me, Kira by him, Kaitlin on my other side and a huge bowl of popcorn was being passed around between us. I gasped when I watched Aiden get tackled. I panicked, wondering if it hurt as bad as it looked.
“Don’t worry Hun, I’m sure he’s fine,” Kaitlin soothed.
I nodded and stuffed my face, trying to take my attention off of the screen. I actually managed to get distracted by the popcorn bowl. I’d tell you what I was thinking, but I don’t remember. That’s how important it was.
“Uh, Emi, you might want to look at the screen,” Ethan mumbled.
My gaze snapped up and my jaw dropped at what I saw. Sitting in the stands was an extremely pregnant Brittney.
“What the fuck is she doing there?” I gasped.
There is no way in hell that bitch is really there at Aiden’s game. I’m just seeing things. I’m hallucinating, that’s all it is.
Just then, an announcer told the whole country how Aiden Swift’s fiancée decided to show her support by joining him on his away game and how they’re expecting a baby boy in a week.
“What the fuck?”
“I’m sure it’s not what it looks like,” Kaitlin said, rubbing my arm.
“Okay, but if it’s not what it looks like, then what is it?” I asked, not wanting to judge Aiden before I knew what I was really seeing.
“Well, maybe she’s just there for moral support and the press got it wrong?” Kira suggested.
“What? Is that like pregnant sympathy?” I snapped, immediately apologizing afterwards. “Sorry, I just really don’t want to give that bitch the benefit of the doubt.”
“Well technically you’re not giving her the benefit of the doubt, you’re supporting Aiden.”
“I don’t know. I just don’t know. I guess I’ll find out when he calls later tonight.”
Three hours later, the game was over and I was still waiting for that call. I was both too stubborn and too tired to call him. If he wanted to talk, he needed to call me. Before I could obsess over that anymore, I fell asleep, not waking up until the next morning.
At first, I felt awful, thinking I’d slept through his call … until I checked my phone and saw zero missed calls. I could literally feel the anger coming over me.
Who in the hell did he think he was? Did he honestly think I wouldn’t find out that he was cheating on me? If Brittney being there last night had left any question in my mind, his lack of contact answered it. He probably spent the whole night with his pregnant slut and here I was at home, waiting by the phone for him to call me.
I changed quickly, grabbing the first pair of jeans and a t-shirt I could find before heading downstairs.
“Hey, what’d you find out?” Kaitlin asked as soon as I entered the kitchen.
I huffed and took out the cereal.
“I wouldn’t fucking know. He never called. I’m going to kill him; and that’s if I ever talk to the bastard again. I mean, seriously? Who the fuck does he think he is? Why would he go through all of that just to cheat on me?”
“Woah, calm down Hun. Think about what you just said. Why would he go through all of that just to cheat? Don’t freak out too early. You don’t want to blame him for something that might not be true. Find out the truth first,” she said calmly.
“I’ll blame him all I want. If he wasn’t cheating, then why didn’t he call me last night after his game?” I asked, throwing my hands up in the air. “He had to know I would have seen Brittney at his game and heard what the announcer said.”
“I don’t know Emily, but you need to calm down before you make a bigger mess of this than is necessary.” She gave me a stern look.
I shook my head angrily and focused on my cereal, taking a bit of my frustration out on the bowl and spoon, clanking them together loudly. Just then, my phone started buzzing in my pocket, telling me somebody was calling. I looked at the screen and felt a mixture of emotions when I saw Aiden’s name appear before my eyes.
I paused a moment before hitting the ignore button.
“Who was that?” Kaitlin asked with a knowing voice.
“You know who it was.” I said slowly, not making eye contact.
“Emily …” She trailed off.
“Kaitlin.” I repeated.
My phone started buzzing again. I didn’t even look at the caller i.d. before ignoring the call. I sighed when Kaitlin stomped out of the room. She was such a drama queen.
After a few moments of silence, my cell beeped, informing me about a new text message. I shook my head and cleared the inbox, not bothering to read it. I simply didn’t want to deal with that dickhead right now.
I left my phone in the kitchen and went out to the living room, turned on the TV, and did my best to ignore the world around me. I think I’d watched about three shows before Ethan banged through the door and stood in front of me with his arms crossed.
“You’re ignoring him?” He asked pointedly.
I rolled my eyes and moved my head to see around him. He stepped into my view again. I sighed and looked up; he looked irritated.
“Yes Ethan. I’m ignoring him.”
Ethan shook his head and rolled his eyes. “Are you going to tell me why? Or are you going to be a little brat?”
I narrowed my eyes. “If you’re just going to be name calling then you can leave my house.”
“I’m not leaving and you’re not going to avoid the question.”
“Fine. I think he’s cheating on me and I don’t want to talk to him. That’s my choice and, I’m sorry but, you have no say whatsoever about that.”
“So you’re just going to assume that he’s cheating on you?

I nodded and looked at my hands, picking at my now chipped nail polish. I didn’t want to talk about this; not to Ethan and definitely not to Aiden.
Ethan sat down next to me and made me look at him. “You have to talk to the poor guy Emi, he’s all worked up, wondering if you’re safe or not. When you didn’t answer he assumed the worst.”
“Yeah?! Well when he didn’t call I assumed the worst and I’m going to continue to assume the worst because that’s what I want to do.” I said, realizing that I sounded infantile but I couldn’t stop.
“Emm, I don...“ I cut him off before he could finish.
“Ethan, this is where you shut up and just be my big brother.”
“I know, but that’s hard to do when your boyfriend’s my friend now,” he pouted. “I like him Emi. He’s a good guy and I know he makes you happy.”
I patted his arm, “I’ll tell you what, you can still be his friend, even if he did cheat on me.” I gave him a look so he’d know I was being sarcastic.
“Fine,” he sighed.
Hours later, I was laying in my bed, staring at the ceiling when I heard footsteps coming up the stairs.
“Still not talking to him?” Kira asked, flopping down beside me.
“Nope.”
“Apparently, he called Ethan freaking out because you wouldn’t answer your phone.”
“And your point is?”
“Emily Smith, you will stop being so belligerent?” She ordered.
I sat up, and narrowed my eyes at her.
“Don’t you dare tell me what to do like you have the right too. Has Ethan ever left you to think he’s anything other than a saint who’s in love with you? No! Well, Aiden’s left me doubting him twice now. It’s my life and if you can’t support me then stay out of it.”
I laid back down and turned away from her. I heard her sigh and then footsteps telling me she’d left.
I don’t know why I was pushing everybody away. I think I was so afraid that I was right about Aiden I couldn’t even consider being wrong. I knew that sounded ridiculous, but I couldn’t help it.
