Mohegan: A Siren's Spell Romance
Page 11
Straddling me, with his long length poking into my abs, he leans over to suckle my breasts. When my nipples get hard and my bra is soaked, he slowly pulls one cup down and blows. Goosebumps cover my body in a wave, liquid pools between my legs, and zings of lust shoot to my core.
I grab the back of his head, a fistful of hair in my hand, and drag him to my mouth. While I taste, suck, and squirm, he fights with the bra clasp behind my back until it opens.
When the wet fabric drops away, each of his hands finds a breast to squeeze and massage. He pinches and nips until I’m wild and all my senses are ablaze. I can’t believe I’m ready for him to enter me and he hasn’t even touched the ladies between my legs.
Needing his urgency to match mine, I reach a toe into to the hem of his jeans to help me tug them over his ass and down his legs.
“Shit.” He quickly twists away to remove his boots, socks, and the rest.
When he slides up and over me again, the slight curls on his chest rub the tips of my sensitive nipples. His knees spread me open, his kisses become more urgent, and his tongue thrusts into my mouth.
I want to capture his cock and make him as crazy as me but remember how he likes to set the pace. Instead, I reach up and press my palms against the headboard to let him know how ready I am.
“Yes. Fuck, Olivia, yes.” He leaves my mouth, sits on his heels, and stares with the centers of his eyes black and dilated.
His hands cup my chin, they slide down to my collar bones, and under my arms. With a feathery touch, his index fingers move down my sides to my waist.
Mouth dry from panting, I writhe with my arms overhead as he ignores the parts of my body dying to be caressed.
Cheerleaders urge me on as I dig in my heels and arch into a god-damned backbend.
There’s a slight low chuckle, his large hands move over my lower abs, thumbs dragging close to my curls. Much too briefly, my clit feels a light caress.
A gasp races out of my lungs. “Mohegan…”
“Hold on. I got this, babe.” Kneeling, with both hands on my waist, his tongue goes to my navel ring, his new favorite toy. Slowly, with thumbs to the front, his fingers slide down my back and squeeze my butt cheeks.
My hands leave the headboard and plunge into his hair, pulling hard.
The evil man laughs, again avoiding my clit, kissing slowly up my chest, and nibbling on the tip of my breast. When my palms cup the soft hair on his cheeks and a finger slides behind his ear, he shudders, his cock stirring against my abs.
“Olivia.” A moan escapes as he slides his palm over my mound and his finger separates my lady-lips and slips deep into my hot liquid.
Scrambling down my body, his clever tongue works my craving until I shake, nigh onto exploding.
“Damn it, Mohegan. Now!” I can’t open my legs any further nor arch up any higher as I wait for his final touch to bring me over the edge.
With his cock at my core, he grunts, and plunges so deep I scream, not in pain, but at the shock of his balls knocking into my nub, sending me closer to the brink of an incredible orgasm.
For the longest time he pauses and holds my butt to stop me from bucking. I have no idea what’s he’s waiting for but I’m so near to coming that I’m about to die.
Slowly, tortuously, he exits with a small sucking noise and cool air hitting my privates.
I taste iron on my lower lip from biting down so hard.
Oh. My. God.
He plunges hard and deep, filling me, and begins a rhythm older than time. Holding my hips, taking the lead, he increases his pace until the bedsprings sing and the headboard bangs against the wall.
My legs lock behind his thighs with my arms around his chest. “Shit. Oh shit. Come with me.”
I drop my heels into the bed, push up with my inner muscles clenched, and cup his ass with my fingernails digging into his soft flesh.
Banging me, our body’s slap together faster and faster. When his abs tighten, he holds his breath, and his core hits my clit in just the right spot.
Yes! The cheerleaders explode, pulsing and shuddering.
Big and thick, he takes me beyond ecstasy as he thrusts three more times. One final push, he spurts and shouts, then falls onto my chest, panting.
He turns us onto our sides without pulling out. I can barely move except to stare into his beautiful eyes, shining with love. For the longest time we lay there, wrapped up in each other, until a tiny bit of reality creeps back.
My hand reaches out and strokes his soft beard “How’re we ever going to manage this?”
He kisses my knuckles and closes his eyes. “We will, just as soon as I take care of Labeau.”
At the mention of her name, I moan and turn onto my back. “Are you really going to sleep with her?”
“I hope I won’t have to. But if it means saving our race, would you give me your blessing? I’ll leave it up to you.” He pulls me back onto his chest and kisses the top of my head.
Sliding up his body so we’re eye to eye, I cherish his lips before answering. “I won’t be happy.”
“Me neither. I’ll do everything in my power not to.” As if on cue, his phone rings and he swipes a finger across the screen.
“Hello? Sure… Where? No. Text the address to me. Uh huh. How about tonight? That would be perfect. Wear something sexy. Yeah. Bye.”
I know I said I’m okay with his seduction of the evil witch but suddenly, it’s clear.
She needs to go and I’m going to help.
Chapter Nineteen
Mohegan.
I found Labeau’s home on Google Maps and determined it must sit on properties abandoned by hurricane sandy. Built on the southern tip of Bayou Road, the mansion has the feel of Gone with the Wind with massive columns and balconies.
From the front of the house, the long driveway weaves through perfectly coiffed hedges and ends at a gatehouse where I’m waiting on my Yamaha. I’ve given my name to the guard and use the time to study the landscape. The whole property is surrounded by eight-foot walls that are topped with medieval looking iron spikes.
It’ll be damn near impossible to find another way in but Eduda is out there, looking.
After a while, the gates split open, I ride forward, and dismount. At the front of the estate, the air is syrupy-sweet from pink blossoms that twine around the iron railings overhead.
A valet comes forth who thinks I’d let him touch my bike so I give him a subtle hint. “Touch it and die.”
Then I climb up the steps and upon finding no bell or knocker, I text to Labeau.
Me: I’m at your front door.
When she opens, I’m surprised how different she appears in daylight. She must be close to forty but her body looks a decade younger in a black dress ending high above her knees.
I let my aura spike with some appreciation, take it back to guarded, and hold out my hand to shake.
Her eyes rake up and down my body as she pulls me into the foyer. “So, you’re my new gigolo?”
“Yes ma’am. Full blooded witch. Here’s my pedigree.” I hand her a USB drive that holds a copy of my bloodline.
Eduda cleaned it up a little but it’ll stand. All she needs to do is plug it into any computer on her network. My IT guys can best explain how the hidden virus works. I just know that before it does, I need to be long gone.
We move into her living room that could easily host a party of over a hundred. “Exactly what do you expect to get out of this arrangement, Mr. Mohegan?”
“Besides fucking a beautiful witch?” I smirk, staring pointedly at boobs so perfect, they must be fake.
“Don’t be crude. A drink?” She saunters on five-inch heels to a wall beside a two-story stone fireplace. There, she opens a cabinet filled with expensive bottles of booze.
“What’ll it be?”
“Bourbon.”
“Sit. Please.”
I park my dirty jeans on her pristine white couch while a crystal glass is placed in front of me on a claw-footed coff
ee table.
Spreading my arms wide, I do my best to look overwhelmed at the wealth on display. “Don’t get me wrong, the thought of getting you pregnant makes me hard but being part of all this? This is incredible.”
When she joins me, she crosses her legs and places her hand high on my thigh. “What makes you think I’ll keep you around?”
“Because I know women.”
For the first time, the witch’s face twists into an ugly snarl but just as quickly her calm mask is back in place. “I didn’t figure you for the kind of man who would want to be kept.”
“Guess you figured wrong.” Closing my eyes, I picture Olivia, grow hard, and spread my legs so she can see the outline of my large cock.
Labeau chills but her smile doesn’t reach her eyes. Pressing her breasts into my chest, she places her hand over my junk, and squeezes until it hurts.
“I’ll have someone take you to my bedroom.” She sends a text from her phone and leaves.
So far, so good.
Closing my eyes for a second, I take a long, deep breath, then exhale. When I open my eyes a pretty young witch in a sundress is standing there.
“This way, monsieur.” As she leads me up a palatial staircase, I can’t help but admire the security. Cameras are set up in every corner of every room
In the bedroom, my thoughts again turn to Olivia and I realize I need to take better care of her. First off, she needs to learn to follow instructions. The things I do are too damn dangerous for an innocent like her.
With those thoughts in mind, I tug my shirt over my head. Hopefully, somebody’s watching through the lenses and getting their jollies. After a tall stretch and a yawn, I pull off my jeans and head out onto the balcony wearing only my boxers.
With nothing of importance out there, I open a small refrigerator, pour myself a drink, and turn on the TV with my back to the camera.
Over an hour of daytime TV passes before I hear Labeau in the hall. “I don’t want to be disturbed.”
The door opens, she saunters across the bedroom, and pulls me by my beard hairs into a heated kiss. It’s all I can do not to gag.
Pushing her away, I point. “Can you have them turn off the free show?”
“Why, Mohegan, I figured you for an exhibitionist.” A wicked smile crosses her face as she traces a nail over a tat on my shoulder.
“Hey, I’m fine with it. It’s you I’m worried about. Didn’t think you’d want your people to see you on your knees, begging to be fucked.”
When I shoot her my most arrogant smirk she glowers, locks the door, and looks up at the surveillance gear.
“Turn it off. Audio too.”
Kicking off her heels, she strolls over to where I’m standing. “Let’s see if you can put your money where your mouth is.”
“Wait. I want to make sure we have a deal. Did you check the USB drive I gave you?” My heart races as I take a deep breath and prepare to run.
“It was impressive. As is this.”
Her hand grabs my cock but the virus is planted and there’s only seconds left before the shit hits the fan.
I remove her grip, kick her feet out from under her, and grab the syringe I’d sewn into the lining of my boxers. It feels damn righteous to stab her with her own poison.
When Labeau’s eyes roll and her body goes limp, I jump to the window to make my escape but before I can, the door opens. Three healers the size of sumo wrestlers enter, followed by the witch from the dilapidated house in Atlantic City.
She hisses when she sees Labeau on the floor and points to me. “Get him out of here. Kill him if he resists.”
The sumo-boys drag me across the hallway, down some stairs, and lock me in an old carriage house behind the mansion. Alone, I start counting down from a hundred, wondering how long before they realize their network is completely fucked.
I’ve reached fifty when the accountant from New Jersey swings open the door.
“I knew you were trouble.” His face is so red and his breath so wheezy, he may actually be having a heart attack.
That’s bad because the muzzle of his gun is pointing at my chest. Odds are, if he drops dead, the gun will go off, and I’ll bite the big one. I’m not afraid of death, just sad that my grandad and Liv will need to deal with the bloody aftermath.
Was this worth it? It’s hard to say but I think so. That virus I stuck into her computer is an offshoot of one that hit the Ukraine. Not only will it destroy their hard drives but it will collect enough intel on this operation to shut it down, permanently. I saved hundreds, maybe thousands of lives, many of them healers.
In the big picture, the salvation of my people is everything because according to Eduda, antibiotics will soon lose their effectiveness on humans. On that day, healers will make themselves known. Economies and nations will rise and fall based on our numbers and our ability to procreate.
All of this goes through my mind in the millisecond it takes for the guy to pull the trigger.
Chapter Twenty
Olivia
Mohegan said to stay put but no one’s ever been able to tell me what to do, especially when I know that something bad’s about to go down.
After he left the hotel, his grandfather gave me the very same warning. Of course, the minute the old witch leaves, I call an Uber.
Waiting until the driver hits traffic, I explain what I want to do. He thinks I’m nuts until I promise a ginormous tip. After that, he slows at each intersection so I can point out which way to turn.
My newly acquired inner-GPS takes us all the way down Bayou Road to a enormous, walled-off estate. At the front gate, I pay the driver, hop out, and approach a small guardhouse with three guys milling about. No one down here wears suit jackets in this heat so it’s best for me to assume they’re armed.
Suddenly, all three of their cell phones start bleeping at once and the tallest of the three shouts at one with a man-bun. “Something’s going on with our network.”
Beyond, in the mansion, hysterical screams float on the breeze out the windows. “Shut your computers off! We got a fucking virus? Shit. Do it! Do it!”
Oh my God. Like any organization, they must rely heavily on their computers. This will decimate them.
The black guy watches the other two run up the road to the main house, then shaking his head, turns to me and asks, “What do you want?”
“I have an appointment with Ms. Labeau.” I smile sweetly and reach out my hand to shake.
When our palms meet, I pulse healing energy into him and he drops to his knees with a shocked expression on his face.
“Sorry.” I dash up the hill toward the plantation house and stop mid-driveway.
Mohegan is close and if he was behind the computer thing, he’s in a whole lot of trouble.
My heart thumps wildly as I follow my strange urge to the back yard toward an old carriage house and duck behind the building. In the doorway, another guard stands with his back to me, gun pointed inside the building.
I inch forward until indecipherable murmurs become recognizable.
First, Mohegan laughs. “Too late, dude. Cops will be here any minute.”
The gunman’s aura flares with a murderous intent and there’s nothing I can do but jump at his arm just as the weapon fires.
Mohegan?
It doesn’t even dawn on me that I’m the one about to die until I realize I’m deaf in my right ear. Something wet and sticky drips down my side and when I gaze down, it’s my blood. I guess I pass out at the searing pain that follows because when I open my eyes Mohegan is beside me on his knees, pressing a towel into my side.
“Ah fuck it all. Don’t you ever listen, woman?” The warmth coming from his hands reminds me of a smoldering fire, s’mores, and hot chocolate.
I think I’ll just nod off and wake up when this is all over.
A fierce slap hits my cheek. “Stay with me, Liv.”
“Ow!” What’s he talking about? No one’s going anywhere.
When I try to
cup his beard to tell him something important, I’m surprised how my side throbs. “Watch out, I saw some guy with a gun.”
“No worries, Liv. He ran off.” His eyes fill with a different kind of pain and his aura fills with green. Fear? For me?
The same cliché ray of bright light appears in front of me. “Hey, Mohegan. I see the light. There’s Gram.”
“You fucking go near her, I’ll kill you.”
Does that make sense?
My side hurts like mad as the beautiful light disappears and I chuckle, “No worries, Mo, she’s gone now.”
“Good.” Sweat rolls off his face and drops onto my lips. Salty.
“God damn it, Liv. Don’t die. I fucking need you.” His healing energy leaves me faster than he can pump it in.
Die?
Sirens, lights and all sorts of pandemonium happen around me in slow-motion and I picture Mom and Dad at my funeral. It makes me sad. We never really connected and now, never will.
“Can I sleep now, sexy biker man?” I’m pretty sure there’s something incredibly awesome in the IV that the paramedics just stuck in my arm.
Also, I wonder if I died because I see my dad, I mean Holiday, climbing into the back of the ambulance. He’s still there in the emergency room and much later, in intensive care where equipment beeps so loud, it’s impossible to sleep.
Well, except that I do.
A lot.
Every time I open my eyes, there’s two healers, sometimes three. Their auras seem so familiar but I can’t place the names. Everything is on the tip of my tongue but when I try to speak, it fades away.
Pain. My God. Sometimes there’s a lot and there’s a button beside my bed that I’m supposed to push if I need more drugs.
But I threw it on the floor.
Mohegan is there, too, smiling. So is my Dad. And now my Mom.
Sometimes I see Jack and my best friend, Zoe.
