Aiden hollowed his cheeks and concentrated on the head while his hand kept up a firm rhythm on Finn’s length. He couldn’t believe they were doing this either, but fuck it was hot. Knowing they could be caught at any time drove Aiden on and he had to recite his grocery list in an attempt to stop himself from getting hard. Well—harder. Coming in his pants was not an option. This was about Finn, not him. He worked Finn’s dick like a porn star, even if he did say so himself, and had Finn trembling and whimpering in minutes.

Finn came hot and heavy with a strangled cry the moment Aiden cupped his balls and rolled them in his palm, pumping bittersweet strings of hot come into Aiden’s mouth. Swallowing every drop, Aiden kitten-licked Finn’s shaft and around the head until Finn batted at his head, groaning that it was too much. After straightening Finn’s clothing, Aiden re-zipped him and then stood up to capture Finn’s lips in a breath-stealing kiss. He patted Aiden on the head when the kitten-licks on his cock became too much, and Aiden flashed him a satisfied smile as he stood up and captured Finn’s lips in a breath-stealing kiss.

“Better?” Aiden grinned in satisfaction at Finn’s dazed smile, his tongue snaking out to lick his lips.

“Better.” Finn heaved a contented sigh. “That was—”

“Extremely hot,” said a tinny female voice into the quiet of the closet.

“What the fuck?” Finn yelped, his gaze darting around them. “Who said that?”

“Look up, to your right, in the corner. That’s it. Hi there!” The disembodied voice was cheerful, as if the owner was waving at them.

“Oh. My. God.” Aiden’s jaw was slack with shock at the sight of the camera and intercom system on the wall.

“A word to the wise, gentlemen. Supply closets aren’t like they were back in the day, we’re all about technology now and making sure the janitor isn’t sneaking a smoke or sleeping on the job. Which means you’re not quite as safe from prying eyes as you might think.” The woman’s amusement was clearly audible. “By the way, I’m assuming you’re Kaylee’s Show and Tell. They’re waiting for you, or do you want me to tell them you need a few more minutes?”

Finn groaned and stared up at the camera, holding out his hands. “We are so sorry. Please don’t tell. We don’t want to get our daughter expelled. Please don’t—” Aiden rolled his eyes as Finn frowned in annoyance at the woman’s laughter. “Why are you laughing? Did it look funny? I thought you said it was hot.”

  “Finn!” Aiden gasped. “Shut up!”

“Don’t worry guys, it’ll be our little secret, Scout’s honor. And it was definitely hot. We thoroughly enjoyed it.” The intercom buzzed and the connection was broken.

“We? Oh, my God!” Finn slapped a Monty paw to his forehead. “Our faces are gonna be all over YouTube!”

“Calm down, or I’m going to have to blow you again,” Aiden smirked, picking up Monty’s head from where Finn had dropped it on the floor. “Besides, I don’t think it’ll be your face that’s on YouTube.”

  “Very funny.”

“Come on.” Aiden pulled the Monty head over Finn’s and chuckled deep in his chest. “You heard the lady, they’re waiting for us.”

Aiden opened the door, looked up and down the corridor to make sure no-one was about and then they rushed along to Kaylee’s classroom. Glancing at Finn and getting a thumbs up, he knocked on the door and it was opened by a smiling Mrs. Jobson, who welcomed them in.

A few minutes later, Aiden smiled from his seat at the back of the room, watching Finn go to work. He’d already explained to Kaylee that he wouldn’t take his head off because some of the younger children wouldn’t want to know who was beneath the costume. Not her, obviously, because she was a big girl. But it would be best to keep it a secret from her classmates.

He watched Finn charm all the children, even the shy ones, answering their questions with ease, letting them come up and touch the costume and some parents had even brought cameras for pictures to be taken. But the thing that made his heart melt and soar at the same time, was the rapture on his little girl’s face as she gazed at him. Not to mention how the pride in her voice when she introduced Finn as “mine and Daddy’s Monty” made his heart ache in his chest. Smiling happily, Aiden knew today probably wasn’t the first time he was going to wake up on planet KayFinn, but right now, watching them together, there was no place he’d rather be.

Aiden pulled onto the driveway behind Finn’s beat-up Ford and turned off the engine. The liquid crystal display of the dashboard clock informed him it was eleven-twenty and he leaned against the head rest, unable to stifle his yawn, or the low groan creeping up his throat from deep in his chest. This was the third night this week he’d been home at around this hour. His boss had given his team a new client and they’d spent the last six days knee deep in files and accounts. Not exactly the way he’d envisioned him and Finn spending the first few weeks of living together. His imagination had created a lot more furtive glances across the breakfast table, and a lot less fleeting glances in the hallway. He sighed heavily and opened the door then climbed out, locking the door behind him.

The windows of the house were dark and guilt washed through him again. He’d missed Kaylee’s bedtime, and Finn’s too by the look of it. Some father, slash boyfriend, he’d turned out to be. He fitted the key into the lock and opened the front door almost soundlessly. A feat he’d become more than practiced at lately. Slipping off his shoes, he kicked them under the hall table and padded silently down the hall in his socked feet. The kitchen was dark but he knew his way around enough not to hesitate in his stride to the fridge. Patti would definitely give him a hefty slap upside the head for drinking out of the carton, but he picked up the orange juice anyway and drank until his thirst was slaked. He hadn’t realized how thirsty he was until the icy coolness of the liquid soothed his dry throat—but then his last coffee had been around eight-thirty.

Aiden climbed the stairs silently and paused at Kaylee’s bedroom door. He eased it open a crack and gazed at his daughter, so serene in her slumber, so carefree and innocent. Desperately wanting to go in and kiss her goodnight, but afraid of waking her, he settled for a soft smile and closed the door. Down the hall he slipped inside the master bedroom and gazed at the moonlight falling in strips across Finn’s sleeping face. Unable to resist brushing Finn’s bangs from his forehead, Aiden let his fingers linger on the soft strands of Finn’s hair before he turned and crossed the room to the en suite.

Aiden turned on the shower and stripped out of his work clothes while the water heated up, then stepped inside the steam-filled cubicle. He let out a contented moan and closed his eyes as he stood under the flow of the pressure shower that had definitely been the best household purchase he had ever made. The water cascaded over him, running in rivulets down his body and easing the ache of the muscles across his shoulders. He let his head roll back on his neck, enjoying the almost painful pinpricks on his scalp as it received the full force of the water—sheer bliss.

Aiden startled when Finn’s hands slid around his waist and pulled him back against his lean, yet firm, torso. He’d been so lost in his own thoughts he hadn’t even heard Finn come in. Laying his head upon Finn’s shoulder Aiden mumbled apologetically. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to wake you.”

  “I wasn’t really sleeping.”

  “Your eyes were closed.”

  “Resting ‘em.”

  “And the snoring?”

  “Clearing my throat.”

  “The river of drool?”

“Okay, Sherlock, ya got me. I was sleepin’.”

Aiden chuckled softly. “I’m still sorry I woke you.”

“I’m not,” Finn replied, pressing a soft kiss to Aiden’s temple. “If you hadn’t, I’d have missed the shower scene.”

“There’s going to be a shower scene?” Aiden wasn’t sure he could stay awake through whatever Finn had in mind. Maybe a little of his uncertainty sounded in his voice because Finn snorted out a laugh.<

“Don’t worry. This is a strictly PG-13 shower scene.”

Aiden relaxed, letting Finn take his weight and murmured, “That kind of shower scene I can handle.”

“You just close your eyes and let me do all the work.” Finn’s lips were close to the shell of his ear and the images his words conjured up weren’t anything to do with PG-13.

What followed was a lesson in sensory overload that had Aiden’s knees threatening to give way. Finn washed Aiden slowly from head to toe, the sensuous slip-slide of soapy fingers leaving not an inch of his skin untouched; his body humming like a tightly-strung instrument. Every gentle kiss, every soft caress obviously designed to heighten his senses and fill his heart with an intensity of emotion as Finn worshipped him.

Finn was true to his word. PG-13 all the way. Until he dropped to his knees and took Aiden into his mouth. Aiden spent the next ten minutes trying to remember how to breathe as Finn worked his cock like a porn star until he came hard and fast, pumping his load down Finn’s throat with a shuddering moan.

Once he had regained at least some of his faculties, Aiden leaned against the tile, utterly spent, and gasped, “That was not PG-13.”

Standing up, Finn’s smile was wickedly satisfied as he kissed Aiden soundly. “I couldn’t help it, it was just looking at me.”

“It was looking at you?” Aiden stifled a yawn, wincing as Finn gently washed his over sensitive dick and then guided him beneath the flow of water again to rinse him clean. He leaned against Finn for a few moments, who shut off the water and then wrapped Aiden up in one of the huge towels that hung on the towel rail, before ushering him into the bedroom. Aiden emitted soft little sighs and whimpers as Finn dried his now boneless body, held out some clean sleep pants for him to step into and then manhandled him into bed. He was almost asleep when Finn got into bed beside him what could only have been a few minutes later. He felt completely cherished and he was heading into dreamland on a soft, cushiony cloud of contentment.

  “Cushiony clouds?”

Aiden half-opened his eyes to find Finn gazing at him, one eyebrow raised. He’d obviously waxed lyrical out loud in his orgasm induced stupor, but he was too tired to explain. Instead he smiled softly and attempted to tell Finn he loved him—honest—but he was pretty sure he was asleep before the words left his lips.

  II

Finn waved his huge Monty paws and danced his signature jig that ended the afternoon’s last show. There had been two birthday parties amongst the crowd, who Monty had taken on a tour of the park in between the morning show and the one that had just finished. He smiled to himself as he took a final bow and waved his way off the stage. One of the little boys had been so terrified in the snake house, he’d had a special ride on Monty’s shoulders, which had rapidly brought the smile back to his face. Although the birthday boy had been a little jealous—to say the least.

  “Good job, man.”

Chris lifted off Monty’s head and Finn took his first deep breath of air that didn’t smell like wet dog. The temperature had been at a ridiculous high today and Finn had already been sweating before he’d even climbed inside the suit. Now his hair was plastered to his head and even his underwear was sticking to crevices he’d really rather not think about.

“Get me out of this will ya?” All Finn wanted to do was let his skin breathe and then stick it beneath a shower so cold he’d be lucky if his balls ever came back down. “I need water and a piss, although water first ‘cause I don’t think there’s enough moisture left in my body to piss with.”

Chris chuckled, assisting Finn out of the suit, pulling while Finn wriggled. “I don’t envy you being in there today, dude. Wanna get a beer?”

“Can’t,” Finn replied, stepping out of the suit before tipping the remainder of his water over his head, reveling in the icy cascade over his heated skin. “The vet’s coming out to Elvis.”

  “Again?”

“Yeah.” Finn sighed heavily and shook his head. “It doesn’t look good.”

Elvis had had trouble breathing last week and the vet had been out to him twice and taken some blood for testing. She was coming back with the results today, and Finn had promised Marco he would be there. Marco had been Elvis’ keeper for ten years and had been the only one who could get anywhere near Elvis, not only the oldest lion in the park, but also the oldest resident—until that was, Elvis met Finn. He adored Finn and the feeling was very much mutual. When Finn was around, Elvis turned into two hundred and sixty-two pounds of purring kitty-cat, a sight to behold.

“Aww, c’mon, man. He’ll be okay, right?” Chris carried the costume to the huge washing sack and shoved it in for dry cleaning. “He’s gotta be. Elvis is Marshall’s Park.”

“I know,” Finn said softly, rummaging around in his locker for his wash bag. “But he’s really sick, Chris. I think this might be it.”

  “Marco?”

Finn sighed and shrugged. “Marco is burying his head in the sand, like he always does when it comes to Elvis. Which is why I want to be there.”

“You want me to come with?”

Finn shook his head, “Yeah, I know Marco would appreciate it. He’s got a tough decision coming. I just hope he can make it. For Elvis’ sake.”

The low lamplight coming from the living-room welcomed Finn home as he pulled into the driveway. He was tired, emotionally drained, and wanted nothing more than to crawl into Aiden’s arms and never come out. Finn checked his watch and cursed beneath his breath. He’d missed Kaylee’s bedtime for the first time since he’d moved in. Damn it! He’d made a promise to himself he would always be home in time to kiss her goodnight. It made her feel secure to see him before she fell asleep, and it had become their nightly ritual. Although he wasn’t sure secure was the vibe he would have given off tonight.

After he’d locked the car, he trotted up the steps to the front door. Before he had a chance to insert the key, the door opened. Aiden pulled him inside and into his arms, kicking the door closed behind him. Finn sank into Aiden’s strong embrace, letting him take his weight as he buried his face in Aiden’s neck. They stood that way for several minutes, arms around each other, Aiden’s fingers carding through Finn’s hair, his lips gentle on Finn’s cheek. Finally, he heaved a sigh and mumbled into Aiden’s skin, “Chris?”

“He called me… after. How’re you doing?”

“It was the right thing to do,” Finn said softly. “But it hurts like a son of a bitch.”

“Chris said it was pneumonia,” Aiden said, rubbing his cheek against Finn’s.

“Yes. Wanda, the veterinarian, came out with the blood results. She’d suspected it when she saw him last week and prescribed him antibiotics.” Finn sighed again. “But they weren’t working. It had too strong a grip on him There wasn’t anything else she could do.”

“How did Marco handle it?” Aiden kept his arm around Finn’s shoulders and guided him into the living-room. They sat on the couch and Aiden leaned back against the cushions, pulling Finn with him.

Finn was more than happy to be manhandled and laid his head on Aiden’s shoulder. “He’s heartbroken. I knew it was gonna be bad, but God. Elvis was so weak, he could hardly lift his head, so Marco crawled into his crate with him and sat there with Elvis’ head in his lap. Wanda administered the injection and Marco just talked to him, telling him over and over how much joy he’d brought to his life, and the lives of every visitor to the park. How he would make sure no one forgot him and that he was the best friend Marco had ever had.” Finn’s voice cracked and he took a deep breath to steady himself. “And Elvis just stared up at him, and the look in his eyes, it was as though he understood every word Marco said to him. As though he’d waited until Marco was ready to let him go. Then he closed his eyes and Marco held him until it was over.”

  “I’m so sorry, baby.”

Finn scrubbed a hand over his face and sat up, mentally shaking his head. “How was your day? All geared up for Friday’s presentation?

“I think so. How this company hasn’t gone under before now I have no idea, but we should be able to pull it back if they take our advice.” Aiden raised his arms above his head and stretched. “Of course, there’s every chance they won’t because the CEO is a complete ass who thinks he knows every damn thing. But we’ll have to wait and see.”

“Did Kaylee go off okay? I missed bedtime.”

“She’s fine,” Aiden replied, “but she did ask me to give you this.” He leaned in and kissed Finn softly. “She was worried about you missing your goodnight kiss.”

Finn huffed out a laugh. “She was worried about me? God, I love that kid.”

“I saved you some dinner,” Aiden said, nibbling on Finn’s bottom lip. “Why don’t you get comfortable and do a little channel surfing while I fix you a tray.”

“Did I tell you you’re the best boyfriend ever?” Finn slumped against the cushions.

“Yep, but I don’t mind if you repeat yourself on occasion.”

Finn grinned and if his gaze lingered on Aiden’s ass as he walked from the room, he wasn’t going to lie about it. Why wouldn’t he look at it? It was a sexy ass. He stretched his legs out with a sigh, put his feet on the coffee table and crossed his ankles. His finger remained depressed on the channel button of the remote control, but nothing captured his interest. He was too busy wondering how the hell he was supposed to tell Kaylee about Elvis. There was always the option of wimping out and begging Aiden to do it, but he knew it should come from him. They’d visited Elvis so many times together, if the news was from anyone else, it wouldn’t be right.

He lifted his finger and then back tracked a few channels to The Big Bang Theory. Hopefully Dr Cooper could lift his spirits a little, although he wouldn’t be willing to make a wager. His heart felt so heavy he didn’t think even Wolowitz’s antics could make him smile tonight.
