"With that look on your face, I expected you to sniff them first," she joked as he held the door open for her.
"Don't need to," his nostrils flared as he inhaled in her general direction, "I can smell your pussy just fine from here."
Haley felt herself blushing furiously as every eye in the big hall turned toward them as soon as the door opened.
The music started and Daelan rushed to take his place at the podium after a quick peck on her cheek.
Kara appeared in the hallway just out of view of the audience, "You ready?" she asked, her eyes going to Haley's unwieldy belly.
Haley winked and gave the bride a wide grin and a thumbs up sign, "You?"
Kara's shoulder squared and her body shook with a tremor of anticipation. She gave Haley a quick nod.
Haley took a minute to make sure she was well balanced on the heels of her shoes and lifted her hands to hold the bouquet over her pregnant stomach. One more wink at Kara's giddy face and she began her journey down the aisle while her mate watched her from his place at the altar.
The last time she'd taken this walk, it had been Leyrh behind the podium. Her beauty shining through her ancient face as she waited for Haley to make her way down the aisle and be bonded to her mate in the traditional ceremony that was the pack's version of a wedding.
Daelan had been standing where Lowell was now, looking at her the way Lowell watched Kara as she took her first tentative step into view.
Haley took Kenyon's hand as he helped her into the chair beside the altar with a smile. She watched Lowell's eyes mist as he watched his mate arrive at his side and then she stole a glance at her own mate, the Alpha of this pack, as he prepared to perform the ceremony that would formally bond his friend to his mate before the pack.
This life was more than Haley had ever dared to hope for.

Wow. So this is the first full length book I've written and released all at once! I'm pretty excited about that and I'm really looking forward to the rest of this series.
I've already gotten started on the next book and even though my outline is neatly planned out-- not a single one of my stories so far has gone according to plans! So I'm excited and nervous to find out how Lowell and Kara's big day actually goes... and how they got there!
