Sentenced to the Punishment Clinic

“The only thing I’ll be injecting today is a small Fleet enema into your bottom.” Maria scowled and opened her mouth to object, but the doctor held a hand up and continued. “If you’d prefer to wait for nature to take its course that’s fine, but you’ll stay here until that happens. I insist every girl has a bowel motion before leaving my care.”

“Okay, okay,” Maria said, frowning as she stood up. “Anything to get me out of here.” Huffing, she folded her arms across her chest. “Where do you want me?”

“Oh, dear, someone’s angling for another spanking,” Dr. Carter said, as he lifted the syringe from the tray and sat down on the bed. “Am not,” Maria protested, pleased to see the enema was so small. At least it wouldn’t be as hard to hold as the quarts he had filled her with the previous day.

“Right, let’s get this over with,” he said, taking her hand and pulling her across his lap. The open-backed gown fell open, giving him easy access to Maria’s bottom.

“I want you to mend your ways,” he said, slapping her butt. “If you don’t, God knows where you’ll end up. I have a very high success rate in the short time I’ve worked here, and I won’t have you being one of the failures.” Maria winced as each word was punctuated with a sharp slap, shrieking and kicking her legs when a couple of hard smacks landed on her thighs.

She sighed with relief when he finally stopped spanking, parted her buttocks, slipped the nozzle into her anus, and filled her with the enema. Maria jumped as the solution entered her rectum, but there was none of the intense bloating of the previous day.

“Come on, let’s get you to the shower,” Dr. Carter said, letting Maria collect her clothes. Leading her along the corridor to a private shower room and toilet, he left her alone. Her bottom was slightly tender in places, but she was pleased there was no real pain. Sitting on the toilet, she was amazed at how effective the tiny enema was, even after she had been so thoroughly cleaned out the previous day. After wiping her bottom and flushing the toilet, Maria stepped into the shower and spent several minutes relaxing under the warm spray.

Dried and dressed, she stepped into the corridor where Nancy was waiting for her. It felt good to have her clothes on again.

“Let’s get you some breakfast, then you can get out of here.” Maria couldn’t hold back a smile at the thought of escaping this hell hole. In recent weeks she’d become sullen and depressed, fearing she would never find Martin again, but now she had a new lead that she could follow. It helped to focus on that rather than think about the things that had been done to her—and the feelings that some of those things had stirred in her.

Following Nancy into a small kitchen, Maria was tempted to say she wasn’t hungry, but her stomach grumbled at the sight of the food. Sitting down, she tucked into cereal, toast, orange juice, and coffee.

While she ate, Nancy talked about the options available to Maria, and the doors her incarceration had opened. It seemed she qualified for a grant to go to college, a bed in a hostel, and a work placement if she successfully completed her studies and kept out of trouble. Picking up the paperwork, with the address of the hostel where she needed to go to begin her fresh start, she stuffed it into her back pocket. At least she would have a bed for the night if nothing else.

“I urge you to take all the help offered to you, because you won’t get another opportunity like this. The punishments really are much harsher if you reoffend.”

Maria nodded, swallowing the last of her coffee and putting the cup on the table.

“Would you like anything else to eat or drink, before you leave?” Nancy smiled as she cleared the table.

“No, thank you. To be honest, I’d just like to go. No offence.”

“None taken,” said Nancy, grinning as she crossed to the countertop and picked up a bright yellow t-shirt. Spinning around to face Maria, she held it out. Emblazoned across the front was the slogan ‘I’ve been cleansed of my sins at The Punishment Clinic,’ printed in large blood red lettering. Beneath it was a hand holding a paddle over a well spanked bottom. Maria shuddered at the reminder. “A memento of your stay,” Nancy added with a giggle. “Please do come again soon, madam. Actually, don’t!”

“Nancy!” Dr. Carter’s voice boomed from the doorway. “I’m going to burn that t-shirt; it’s a cruel joke to play,” he said. Striding towards his nurse, he snatched the garment from her. Maria breathed a sigh of relief that she would not be expected to take the offensive item. “Nancy thinks it’s funny to give this to people, but she won’t think it so funny when I fill her with a large enema and give her twelve strokes of the cane on her bare bottom. Go and wait for me in my room, I’ll deal with you when Miss Davis has left.” Dr. Carter slapped Nancy’s bottom, propelling her towards the door.

Maria was stunned when Nancy grinned and ran through the doorway. Stopping, she glanced back over her shoulder. “Take care, and keep out of trouble,” she told Maria.

Dr. Carter’s eyebrows rose. “You’d do well to take your own advice, young lady. Now scoot, before I punish you in front of Miss Davis.”

Maria watched wide-eyed as Nancy squealed with undisguised delight, covered her buttocks with her hands and scurried away.

“Sorry about that. Nurse Shaw thinks she’s a bit of a comedian, but she means well.”

Maria nodded as Dr. Carter handed her the cap and jacket she had been wearing on her arrival, put his arm around her waist and steered her towards the door, down a corridor, and out of the clinic. Maria smiled as she breathed in fresh air. “Isn’t Nancy afraid of being punished?” she asked, as they approached the court building.

Dr. Carter stopped immediately and turned to face her, touching a hand to her cheek. “Some women are aroused by such things, as I think you were by some aspects of your punishment.” Maria felt her cheeks flush with heat, but she was too embarrassed to respond.

“Oh, she’ll protest as I cane her, it will hurt, and she’ll struggle to hold her enema, but when I’ve finished she’ll seek release through multiple orgasms. She’s what’s known as a submissive. Basically, she likes to be dominated.” Maria chewed her lower lip. She herself had become aroused at times, but she certainly did not wish to be bossed around.

“No hard feelings?” the doctor asked, as he led Maria through the court building and out into the street. Lifting her head and pulling her shoulders back, Maria shook her head before shaking his offered hand.

“Here, take my business card,” he said, holding it out to her. Maria plucked it from his fingers and pushed it into her pocket. “Call me if you need help with anything, but please don’t get yourself into any more trouble. Promise me.”

Maria nodded. “Thank you, doctor.” A blush rose to her cheeks and he smiled in response, doubtless aware she was thanking him for the previous evening and not for her punishment.

“Right, we’ll say goodbye now, but don’t forget that chip,” Dr. Carter said, smiling as he patted her butt. “Your details will be forwarded to the police department later today and your information uploaded so they can monitor your whereabouts. Keep out of trouble, or we will be meeting again. You won’t be walking out of here so happily if that’s the case.”

Maria winced, took a deep breath, and strolled off down the busy street, not looking back. She would always have fond memories of losing her virginity to the dishy doctor, but she knew that for as long as she lived, she never wanted to see him or his facility ever again.

  Epilogue

A few hours after leaving the clinic, Maria slumped down on a park bench. Leaning forward, she put her head in her hands and sighed. ‘Diamond Dan’ had only got himself arrested for selling counterfeit goods, and he was her best—possibly only—hope of removing the tag. He might also have known where she would find the chain gangs.

She had spoken to several people, but none were able to give her any information about the chain gangs. Sitting forward, she reached into her back pocket and pulled out the paperwork Nancy had given her. She might as well check it out, g
et a room for the night, and see if anyone there could shed any light on where Martin might be.

Looking at Dr. Carter’s business card, she wondered if he could help her. He had pointed her in the right direction, but she really did not want to have to face him again. Tucking the card back into her pocket, Maria froze, her eyes fixed on the male who approached her. As he moved closer, she ducked down and fiddled with her shoe, pretending to tie her lace, muttering ‘bastard’ under her breath as the tall, thin, smartly dressed man walked by, not giving her a second glance.

Sitting up, she glared at the back of the magistrate who had sentenced her to The Punishment Clinic. Suddenly her anger came bubbling back to the surface. How dare he put her through such a humiliating ordeal? Standing up, she watched him stroll through the park, without a care in the world. If there weren’t so many people around, she would run over and pummel him to the ground with her fists, but that would only earn her more of the same treatment, or worse, and it certainly wouldn’t reunite her with her brother.

Putting a hand to her butt, she recalled the tag embedded there. Also remembering Dr. Carter saying something about her details being input into the computer system later that day, she strode after the magistrate, keeping a safe distance as she followed him into the leafy suburbs of a well-to-do neighbourhood.

She scowled when he stopped to shout at some children, playing a harmless game of tag. “I’ll have you all horsewhipped if you don’t get away from my house, you vandalising little hooligans.” Maria’s eyes widened as the small group of children, with an average age of six years, scattered and ran to their respective homes, many of them sobbing. Pulling her cap down over her eyes, she backed into the shadows, watching him walk up the driveway and let himself into the house.

As Maria waited, a few of the parents came out with their children, glaring towards the magistrate’s house and bitching about him, while telling the young tots to keep out of his way. “He’s a nasty, miserable old man,” said one. “No wonder he lives alone,” added another. “I heard his wife left him, taking their four children with her. None of them want anything to do with him now.” Their idle chatter stopped abruptly and they turned their backs as he came back outside and locked his door.

Maria slunk further back, hiding behind a tree as he walked down the drive and stared across the road. “Keep those animals under control or I’ll have you all thrown into jail,” he yelled, before marching away.

“Miserable old bastard, drop dead,” shouted one, as the magistrate disappeared around the corner. Turning to the others, she suggested the children play in her garden and she would put the kettle on. All agreed to this and within seconds, Maria was left alone in the street.

Crossing the road, Maria walked up the driveway, looking all around her before raising her fist and rapping on the door. He might have a housekeeper, or a vicious dog to keep him company, Maria thought. “No, not even a mangy old mutt wants to stay with you,” she muttered, sneering as she moved around to the back of the house, again checking the coast was clear—though to be fair she didn’t imagine his neighbours would stop her; they’d probably help!

Slipping into the garden, Maria smirked when she saw a small kitchen window had been left open. Tugging her gloves out of her pocket and putting them on, she expertly manoeuvred her way through the small opening, dropping down onto the countertop, then onto the kitchen floor. She shuddered as she had a flashback of the last time she had done this. She would have to be quick, having no intention of being caught again.

Wandering into the sparse, dull living room, with beige carpet, a single beige armchair, and beige and brown striped wallpaper, Maria rifled through the drawers of the wall unit. Her face lit up as she found a wad of cash, which she quickly pocketed. Picking up a pearl necklace, her brow creased and she chewed her lower lip. If he lived alone, this was likely to be a family heirloom or something his wife had left behind. Closing the drawer, she decided to leave. The cash would be compensation enough for what he had put her through.

Glancing back over her shoulder, Maria gazed at the one armchair. He obviously didn’t need any extra chairs, as it was clear he was very unpopular and did not entertain visitors. Grinning manically, Maria marched towards it and pushed it over, feeling a sense of satisfaction when it crashed onto its side. “Take that, you miserable old bastard.”

Looking around, she considered trashing the room, but decided against it. She had got what she came for. He would report the crime when he discovered the break-in, and police would doubtless look to see who might bear a grudge. Maria grinned, thinking that list would probably be as great as the population of London, if not longer.

Returning to the kitchen, Maria searched for a key to the back door. Not finding one, she opened the large kitchen window, climbed onto the unit, and eased herself out backwards. No point in forcing her way through the small window again if there was a simpler exit.

As Maria’s feet touched the ground, she was taken completely unawares as an arm wrapped around her waist and a hand clapped over her mouth, muffling her cry of shock. Her eyes widened and she panicked, kicking back with her heel but striking at thin air. “Got you!” Maria’s struggles increased as she heard the all too familiar voice.

When she was finally released, her feet planted safely on the ground, she spun around. “I thought I recognised that girl disappearing into the garden. I followed you round here, and when I saw that rump squeezing through the window, I decided to keep look out for you.” The young male opened his arms to her and grinned, his dark brown eyes mirroring her own, his long dark hair gone and replaced by a shaved head.

“Martin, where the hell have you been?” she asked, wrapping her arms around him. “I’ve been worried sick.”

Releasing her, Martin looked furtively around. “Let’s get out of here,” he suggested, taking her hand and leading her to the front of the house. No one was around to see them slip away and she hoped once more that her tag had not yet been activated. Maybe she could talk to Martin about it, but that would mean admitting to her baby brother where she had been and what had been done to her. Anxiously biting down on her lower lip, Maria decided that was out of the question. Crossing her fingers, she prayed she would get away with her crime.

Once they were a safe distance away from the house, Maria allowed herself to relax. “So, where in God’s name have you been?” she asked, when Martin led her into a café and ordered coffee. She frowned when he took out a wallet to pay. Shrugging her shoulders, she guessed he must have stolen it from somewhere.

“Oh, Maria, I’m so pleased to have found you. I got back yesterday but no one knew where you were. When we got busted six months ago, I was taken to work on a chain gang.” Maria smiled knowingly.

“The farm has a wonderful view of the Surrey Hills. Do you remember mum and dad often took us there?” Maria smiled and nodded, blinking back tears as she remembered their parents. They were both so young when their mother and father were cruelly taken away from them, killed instantly when their car hit a tree during a bad storm, but they had hung onto their memories.

“The family who owned the farm were fantastic, but they’d fallen on hard times and could no longer afford to employ staff to tend the land,” Martin explained. “It had gone to ruin. This was happening at farms all over the UK, so the criminal justice system stepped in and set up chain gangs, to build these farms up to be going concerns once again.”

“It sounds like you enjoyed it,” Maria said, watching her brother as he animatedly explained where he had been and what he had been doing. “It sounds more like a vacation than a punishment,” she teased.

Martin grinned and nodded. “It really was. We worked hard, but it was so rewarding to see the change. They’ve had builders in—serving custodial sentences, as I was—who’ve knocked down the old stables and built four log cabins for the newly appointed permanent staff. They’ll still have petty criminals sent there to help out, but it’s a viable business now and I’m stayi
ng there.”

Maria’s smile rapidly faded. “What do you mean? You’re not free yet? Why don’t we run away together? I’ve got money,” she said, pulling the wad of cash out of her pocket. “I know it won’t get us far, but…”

“Hey, hold your horses,” her brother said, taking a sip of his coffee, his other hand reaching across the table to clutch Maria’s trembling one.

“I served my six-month sentence, and at the end of it I was offered paid employment to help run it. It is low paid, but comes with three meals a day and free accommodation. I’ve accepted, so we need never to have to commit crime again.”

Maria scowled. “Well done, I’m so happy for you,” she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. “I hope you’ll be very happy there, while I’m out living on the streets, wondering where my next meal’s coming from.”

“Oh, stop being such a drama queen,” he said, rolling his eyes as she stood up abruptly. “I told them I had a sister living rough in London, and they said you’re welcome to come and stay with me. It’s only a one-bedroom cabin, but you can sleep in the bed, I’ll take the sofa. There might even be a job working in the kitchens and cleaning, if you lose that attitude.”

“A job?” Maria frowned. She had never worked and had no skills—well, apart from the ones that had got her locked up, and she couldn’t imagine those abilities would be what they were looking for. Who wanted to employ a light-fingered kitchen assistant or cleaner?

“Look, at least come and see it, I know you’ll love it,” he said. “Now drink your coffee and tell me what you’ve been up to.”

Maria’s face paled. “Erm, my life’s been pretty boring compared to yours. I’ve got absolutely nothing to share with you.” She wondered if she should tell him about being caught burgling a government official’s home and landing herself in The Punishment Clinic. Looking down at her hands, nervously twisting her fingers, she decided against it. He would want to know what happened, and although they were close, she couldn’t share something so personal with him.
