“You need me to look at anything else, sweetheart? Travis can step out if you need him to.” Raven felt Travis stiffen and she smiled a wan smile because she knew that if Doc tried to get Travis to leave while he looked at any wound, no matter how uncomfortable for her it would be, Travis would have a gun in Doc’s face before he could say the first syllable of the word Leave. Of course, with the men Doc healed on a daily basis she was quite sure that he’d had more than one gun in his face.

“Just the cuts on my--my breasts. They hurt,” she whispered. Doc nodded and he had her pull her shirt down enough that he could seal those cuts as well.

“I don’t think they’ll scar. You’re sure that there’s nowhere else?” Doc asked, eyeing her sharply. Raven shook her head.

“Okay, this will likely make you sleepy and you should be easy with those wrists for a few days. It will seem like they’re fine, but they’re still not fully healed for at least a week, so no wrist jewelry.” Raven nodded. She’d never worn jewelry much anyway. When they were in the city she couldn’t afford it and she’d worked with the animals before she’d been taken by Viper. Jewelry just got in the way so she’d rarely worn it.

Doc pressed the hard plastic of the injector to her arm giving her the medication she’d needed. Travis kissed her forehead and told her to get some sleep before he saw Doc and her family out before locking up. When he climbed into the bed an hour later, she curled into him whispering “I love you,” before falling asleep to the sound of him telling her a soft “I love you too, Princess.”

  Epilogue

Raven sat down on the edge of the bed with a sigh. She looked at the small dent in the cherry wood above Travis’s side of the bed, her fingers sliding over the groove the bullet had made when it exited Viper’s head. She smiled. It had been six weeks since that night when he’d broken into their home to kidnap her again.

Raven had shaken off the fear of that night much more easily than she had her stay with the Headhunters. That was likely because Viper was dead. Knowing that made Raven feel safe again. Travis had been nervous about how far out they were from the other Devils living on the edge of town like they did. She’d told him she wasn’t moving, she loved this house as much as he did. What she had done was learn to shoot a gun and they’d installed a security door in the hallway that she’d lock when Travis wasn’t home.

He had a key and a person would have to shoot the lock or break down the door to get in and that would give her time to shoot whoever it was before they could get to her. Travis had settled down once the door was installed, but when he was gone he took her to Ratchet and Mia’s house because he was still not assured of her safety even with the panic door.

Raven knew he’d eventually realize that she was safe. Viper had been the only one obsessed with her from the Headhunters and with him dead, there wasn’t anyone to come after her. Despite Travis’s fear that Ghost would come for her, she didn’t think he would. He just hadn’t been that interested in her and with Viper gone he was in charge now, which was bad news for the women around that club. Her heart squeezed at that thought for those women who’d be suffering.

She hoped that the meet with the Bandits that was scheduled for next month would go well. If it did then they’d be taking down the compound. Travis had told her about this even though he wasn’t supposed to. She pretended to be just as clueless as the rest of the women when they asked about the meeting. She’d never betray her man by telling them that she knew exactly what they were planning to ask the Bandits about.

Bone wouldn’t be too happy with Travis for telling her. She knew this, so she kept her mouth shut and asked stupid questions that she already knew the answers to. The war with the Jackals was still going strong but they’d decided to discuss the compound anyway. They all wanted to let the Headhunters know that you didn’t mess with the Red Devils.

  “Raven,” Travis called from downstairs.

“Up here,” she called back, grabbing for another towel she’d been folding before she’d gotten distracted by the groove of the bullet.

“What are you doing? Oh, laundry.”

“Yes, you do know that it doesn’t magically fold itself, right?” she asked him, raising a brow. He scowled at her.

“Yes, smartass, I know it doesn’t fold itself,” he grumbled, crossing his arms as he leaned against the door jamb.

“Well, you could have fooled me. You never fold laundry.”

“Eh, I don’t see the point. You just use it to wipe off after a shower, or wear it. Why does it really need to be folded?” He shrugged, his green eyes smoldering as he watched her.

“What if I said why do the jars in the cabinet have to be in a line? Or that the sink can stand to have a dirty dish in it?” She raised a brow waiting. It didn’t take long.

“Are you insane? The sink can’t be dirty! We eat in there.” He stood up with his hands on his hips, glaring at her through narrowed eyes.

Raven snorted out a laugh. “I swear your obsession for keeping the kitchen clean while everywhere else is a mess never ceases to amaze me.”

“I am not messy,” he growled.

“Right, and the mud you’re tracking across the floor isn’t messy?”

“What mud—shit, I’ll clean it up once I show you something,” Travis said, frowning at the mud he’d tracked in with his boots.

“Good plan, considering I just mopped the floor this morning,” she told him with a glare of her own.

“I’m sorry, Princess. I’m not that bad, am I?” he asked, looking pained. She didn’t have the heart to tell him that it made her crazy how messy he was with that kicked puppy dog look on his face. She loved the man but he was constantly making a mess and then forgetting to clean it up except in the kitchen. If she could get him to apply even half that cleanliness to the rest of the house, she’d be in heaven.

She loved him anyway. It wasn’t that he wouldn’t clean up after himself if she told him to; he would and did. It was that it always seemed to make him so sad when he realized he’d done it again.

  “No,” she lied.

Travis grinned. “Let’s go. I have a surprise for you.” Raven smiled softly as she walked out the door of the bedroom behind him. This was one of the reasons she loved him. He was forever finding ways to surprise her.

He led her outside into the yard and yelled, “Surprise,” pointing to the four large rose bushes he’d planted along the porch, two on each side.

“They’re beautiful, Travis,” she told him, wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing him. She didn’t have the heart to tell him that she hated roses because they were a pain in the ass to care for and she’d never been a garden kind of girl. He’d figure it out when the damned things died because she didn’t know the first thing about caring for roses.

She leaned into his kiss and laughed when he scooped her up, carrying her inside to collect his reward. And since that was a much better treat than the roses, she let him.

  Reaper Unleashed

  Chapter 1

Reaper Colson walked into the Blue Bird pushing his phone into the pocket of his pants. He winked at Candy when she smiled at him while she swung around the pole, her bottle blonde hair wild, and her breasts shook with the movement. The men in the front row threw money on the stage. She stood walking to the edge to grab some young guys shirt to pull him close while he stuck money in her g-string.

Reaper walked back to his table in the corner of the bar sitting down with a sigh. This was a shitty night. He’d hadn’t even gotten to sit in peace for more than a minute when Bull stood next to him.

“Boss, we got a problem.” Bull said and Reaper wanted to shoot him. He was fucking tired. He’d just gotten back from a meet with a man about the three girls those fucking Headhunters had taken from two towns over when Death Rider had called to tell him about Burner. Between the fifteen year old girl who’d been in the group that had been nabbed and the news that Burner, who was like his younger brother or his adopted son maybe, had been beaten by T-Bone he was in a fowl mood.

It wasn’t that Travis “T-Bone” Hoyt, a Red Devil had beat his brother for no reason. He’d done it to save Burner’s life. Travis had went after a woman for the Red Devils at the compound, which was the Headhunters hidey hole.

Burner was undercover with the Headhunters MC trying to stop these kidnappings. He’d helped Travis get her out, but it had cost him. His brother was now under the care of the fucking Headhunters and who knew what the fuck they’d do. They might not even get him help. Those bastards were bad news.

Their club the Blue Bandits had been trying to stop those assholes for over a year now. Fuck, if they didn’t get this shit under control the whole fucking club was going to be in the shitter. Reaper smacked his head into the back of the booth wanting to rip something apart.

He was so fucking tired of this bullshit. Being a part of the Blue Bandits MC was sometimes a pain in the fucking ass. He’d been a vice president for the club for over ten years. Death Rider was their president but their territory was so large that they’d had to spread out. They’d both split the area and Reaper had become a president in a way rather than a vice about four years ago when they’d expanded the territory.

He ran the south region and Death ran the north. They’d both picked strong men to be their second in command and were for the most part a solid club. Then the fucking Headhunters had started stealing the women to sell to the Cut Throat MC last year. It was a fucking nightmare. They’d been unable to break it up because the operation was too spread out.

They knew about the compound and the den. Those two places were the main places that the operation was being run out of. They’d tried several times to break the group up but it wasn’t working. Likely because they had a fucking spy, a sorry bastard who thought he could betray the Blue Bandits and get away with it. That motherfucker was going to die screaming when they finally found him.

Reaper looked coldly at Bull who was still waiting for him to respond. “What the fuck is it now, Bull?”

“Hoopers back. He went in to see Trina and he’s getting violent again.” Bull told him.

Reaper ran a hand down his face, feeling the scrap of his stubble. Fuck, he needed a shave. Why the fuck Bull was telling him instead of shooting Hooper he had no idea. He stared at Bull with a bored expression.

“And?” Reaper asked wondering why the fuck he’d come in here to ask him what to do instead of just handling it. He’d warned Hooper the last time he’d roughed Trina up that he’d kill him if he did it again. Bull should have walked into the room shot the man and then dealt with the body. Instead he was standing in front of Reaper giving him a worse headache than he’d had a minute ago.

“I thought you’d want to handle it.” Bull said, looking unsure for a moment.

“Why? You’re capable.” Reaper glared at Bull.

“I thought you’d want to because she’s umm—okay, right I’ll go take care of it.” Bull said when Reaper pointed his gun at his face.

Jesus, why did all these assholes have to be so fucking clueless? Reaper put his gun on the table, his hand still resting on the hard metal and laid his head back rubbing at the bridge of his nose. He was pissed that he’d managed to get another headache. It made his eyes burn and his temples throb in time to his pulse and the pounding music wasn’t helping.

“Reaper, you want a whiskey?” Casey, his newest waitress asked.

“Yeah, and find Lock.” Reaper told her opening his eyes, he smiled at her cute little black skirt that flirted with the fishnet stockings that ended at mid thigh with little white bows, and her lace see through top. Damn that girl had some style, he was suddenly feeling a bit less stressed as he watched her perky tits. She grinned before turning to walk to the bar.

He watched as her skirt slid up a bit revealing her tight, bare ass cheeks. His dick twitched and he thought about taking her into the back for a bit of play, but quickly tossed that thought away. He wasn’t in the mood, he leaned back hearing them announce Kitty as she came out on stage with the classic jazz tune she liked to strip to. Reaper watched her prance around taking off her clothes and throwing them to the crowd.

“Here’s your drink, Reaper. Need anything else?” Casey asked leaning forward to put her tits in his face. He leaned forward kissing the tips.

“Nah, I’m good. Just find Lock.” He told her when he pulled back, lifting the drink to his lips.

“Damn I was really hoping you’d need something else.” Casey told him smiling coyly.

“Sorry sweetheart, not tonight.” Reaper told her. She shrugged and flounced away. He leaned back again closing his eyes, his head still pounding.

“What’s up boss.” Lock asked a few minutes later.

“I’m going to head home early tonight.” He told him seeing Lock raise a brow at his words.

  “Something up?” Lock asked.

“Nah, just another headache.” Reaper shrugged. “People are fucking annoying me and we both know that never ends well for anyone.”

  “Ah, the shit with Trina?”

“Among other things. I just need a break.”

&
nbsp; “Sure thing, boss. I’ll let you know if anything happens I can’t handle. Go home and sleep it off or better yet take someone home and fuck it off.” Lock said with a chuckle.

Reaper rose nodding at him before he walked out of the Blue Bird. He was getting too old for this shit. He was just outside the back door almost to his bike when Candy walked out carry her bag wearing a skin tight white tube dress.

“Hey, Reaper.” She said in her breathy voice. He knew she was interested in going home with him but he still wasn’t in the mood for sex tonight. Again he realized was getting too old for this shit. He’d loved all the booze and free pussy when he’d been a much younger man, but now he was just tired of the stupid shit he put up with on a nightly basis.

He knew that he could base his operation out of the Tattoo parlor that was half a mile from here, but he didn’t know if that was what he wanted either. He’d been at the Blue Bird since he was twenty and the idea that he’d have to settle into a new place at this point was frustrating. He was thirty, and this place caused more headaches than he liked, but the free pussy and the booze were still nice when he was in the mood. Tonight wasn’t one of those nights, his head was pounding and his bullshit meter was full.

“Night, Candy.” He said not bothering to stop even though the bottle blonde called out to him again. He climbed on his bike and headed towards his home. Wondering what the hell was going on with him over the last week. He’d been acting like a fucking stick in the mud and these fucking headaches were driving him insane.

He rode his bike into the garage at his place twenty minutes later. The automatic door closed behind him, locking down. He climbed off his hog. A blistering pain started pounding between his eyes and he wanted to throw something or kill it, whatever worked. The pain had started a few months ago after someone had hit him from behind with a baseball bat when he broke up a fight at the Bird. He’d taken the fucker down before he’d passed out and these migraines were the result.
