About this Title
New Celebrations comprises the first three books of the adventures of Anthony Villiers: Starwell and The Thurb Revolution, originally published in 1968, and Masque World, published the year after.
Panshin was born in Lansing, Michigan, in 1940. He is a mixture of English-American and Russian, and he insists that his name is easy to pronounce. He served in the Army in Texas and Korea, graduated from Michigan State University in 1965, and received an M.A. from the University of Chicago in 1966.
