She had yet to start looking for work. Since everything came to light about her company and what really happened to John, she hadn’t wanted to work. She used what she had from her savings to help with the bills, but it seemed that John had some insurance money and left it all to Razor. They were closing on a new house tomorrow. Razor seemed happy about it, as was she. Oddly, it was something they both wanted.

After he’d confessed that he loved her, which he did try to take back, their once being stuck with each other, twisted relationship, grew into something serious. Michael had even threatened a shotgun wedding, except she wasn’t pregnant. Thank God for birth control shots.

“So what time is your appointment?” she asked, looking at the clock.

“Should have been here ten minutes ago.”

  “Well, that sucks.”

“Kinda, but it’s okay. I can just hang out here with you.” He started to play with her hair, tucking it behind her ear.

“Well, I’m sure I can deal with that.” He chuckled. “So what happens if they don’t show up?”

“Then we close up early and head home.”

  “Or I have another idea.”

“Do you now? I would love to hear this, kitten.”

“What if you tattoo me?” Instantly she regretted saying it. The look on his face said it wasn’t a good idea.

  “Faith, I don’t think so.”

“Oh, come on, it’s a great idea. I’m healed, and it won’t hurt as bad as it would for some.”

“You’ve been thinking about this, haven’t you?” He eyed her expectantly, and she couldn’t help the blush.

“Yeah, some. I don’t know what to get, but I want one. I have for a while, and I want you to do it.”

“Hmm, well we’ll see what happens.”

  “So you’ll do it?”

“I’ll draw something up, and we will wait and see if the appointment comes in.” She nodded and couldn’t help but jump in excitement. As she watched Razor pull his pad out and start to draw, the phone rang.

“Ink Spot. You pick it; we stick it.” She did her best not to giggle when she said that. The person on the other end was rescheduling the appointment he had with Razor tonight. Lucky for her. She reworked him in for the next week and hung up. Walking over to Razor, she did her best to look at what he was doing, but he shut it before she could see anything.

“Your appointment canceled. He’s sick. So I guess you’re free now.” Okay, maybe she said that a little too chipper, but she couldn’t help it. She wanted to have something new on her, something pretty she could look at and think of Razor, instead of what they had done to her.

“Fine, you win, kitten. Go lock the front door and put the closed sign up.” She did as he said and bounced back to his station. He pulled the curtain closed around them, so it was just the two of them. “Take your top off.” She looked at him, but then remembered he didn’t want to get ink on her clothes. He rearranged his station and started setting out some colors.

  “So what am I getting?”

“It’s a surprise,” he stated plainly before helping her onto the table and handing her a pillow. “Lay on your side. If this starts to hurt, just tell me.” She nodded, and from the position he placed her in, she knew it was a rib tattoo. She loved the idea. Maybe he could cover the scar mark with his tattoo. The thought brought her comfort.

Taking the towel, he tucked it into the waistband of her jeans before he started the process of shaving her side and placing the stencil he made for her. He was very meticulous with his work. It was one of the things she loved about him.

The sound of the gun sounded, and the small buzzing sound hit her skin. There was a slight sting but not too bad. She’d definitely had worse. He did small, gentle strokes as his gun glided across her skin. He stopped a few times checking on her, and she knew why. Her ribs had healed, but they were on the other side. Since she was laying on that side, it did put pressure there but not too much.

Razor talked as he did the fine lines of his design on her skin. He had wanted to cover up the mark since he’d first seen it. He didn’t want her to remember that time- ever.

“So since I’m kinda stuck here, will you tell me about your first tattoo?” Damn, he knew she was gonna ask about that again.

  “Fine. It was a rose.”

  “A rose?”

“Yeah, the chick I was dating at the time, her middle name was Rose. Thought it would be kinda cool. Needless to say, it was stupid.”

“I think it was sweet. What happened?”

“She went off to college, found someone else and came back to tell me she was knocked up. At first, I thought it was mine, but then the timeline didn’t fit from her due date. I put two and two together and ended it.”

“Oh damn, that’s hard. So you had it covered up.”

“More or less; I turned it into a skull with roses and a dagger.” He started working on some of the color for his design.

  “What happened to her?”

“I don’t know. I washed my hands of her, and that was the end of it. So, that’s the whole fucked up story. Okay, this area might hurt some. If you need a break, let me know.” He started hitting an area that most people would jump at, but she just breathed through it. Damn, she was amazing.

They talked some more about his other tattoos, but he had yet to tell her about the one he had gotten two days ago. He hadn’t taken his shirt off in bed; he claimed he was cold, and she was just too tired to question him. But it seemed that his little spitfire of a woman wanted one now too. Damn, he loved this woman. Adding the finishing touches, he wiped it clean and helped her stand to walk over to the mirror.

He had her close her eyes while he guided her into position. Once he was ready, he had her open them. Her gasp made him nervous. It was a pretty big tattoo for a first timer, but it was her.

“Oh, my God, it’s a tree. Wow. I love it. What kind is this?”

“It’s a Wisteria Tree. It means forever, love, and hope. I thought it was fitting.” He smiled as she looked at it more, turning side to side. He knew what she saw. He’d added himself into the tattoo.

“Is that a razor blade in the tree trunk with a carved heart? Oh, Razor, I love it so much.” She turned and wrapped her arms around him kissing him soundly. Damn, he’d missed that.

“You’re welcome, kitten. Now let me get that wrapped up.” He led her back and wrapped her side carefully, debating if he should tell her about his.

“Razor, what’s wrong?” She ran her hand along his cheek.

“I wanna show you something.” He grabbed his shirt and pulled it up and off. She was confused until she saw his chest, right above his heart. He’d had “With Faith comes hope” tattooed.

“You did that for me?” He nodded, waiting for her to respond. Instead, he got tears. Shit.

“It’s okay, kitten. It’s just skin. I can have it covered up.”

“No, it’s not that. I mean it is that. With what you told me about having a tattoo covered up because someone hurt you, and then you telling me, well, warning me, about getting someone tattooed on your body, but then you still did that, for me. I’m shocked and honored. It’s beautiful. I love it.” Once again, her arms wrapped around him, and she attacked his mouth. He gave into it. Deepening it, tasting her, feeling her.

“Kitten, we have to stop, or I’m gonna fuck you on my station.”

“What if I want you to?” she purred. Damn, she was gonna kill him. He hadn’t been inside her since before she’d been hurt and he was desperate to feel her.

“Baby, let me take you home and I can make love to you sweet and slow in bed.”

“But that’s not you, Razor. I want you. I want to feel you; all of you. The way we used to be. Please.” She kept kissing him and the little imp that she was, her hand had already worked its way down and unsnapped his pants.

“Fuck it.” And then he kissed her with everything he had built up in him
. Taking her and spinning her around, he tugged on her jeans sliding them down her body, along with her panties, before pushing her chest down on his table. “This is gonna be quick and hard, baby. I can’t wait anymore.”

“Don’t wait, Razor. I need you too.” His fingers played with her pussy, finding her wet and wanting. Normally he would try to get her off first, but he knew he would blow his load before then. Sliding first one and then two fingers into her, he worked her up before he freed his cock from the confines of his pants. Rubbing through her cream, he coated his tip before he slipped inside her wet heat. Damn, she was so tight. Damn, he’d missed this.

“Fuck, kitten, you feel so good.”

“Yes, oh God yes, Razor. Harder. I want to feel you.” Holding onto her hip with one hand while the other reached up playing with her breasts, he pounded into her, making her moan and whimper. It was a tune he loved to hear. He wasn’t going to last much longer.

“Come for me, baby.” Releasing her breast, he reached down and played with her clit and just like a matchstick, she struck and caught fire, crying out his name as he followed right along, pumping his seed inside her. Once he was able to feel his legs, he pulled out of her, grabbing a towel to help clean her up. But all it managed to do was make her giggle.

  “What’s so funny, kitten?”

“I was just thinking about how you marked me, and I’m gonna be yours forever.”

“That’s right, and everyone better know you’re mine. After all, it’s plain to see you carry Razor’s mark.” Another giggle escaped, and he kissed her.

“Come on, let’s clean up and head home, I have a feeling you need to be marked several more times,” he said as he swatted her sexy ass.

“I think I like that plan just fine. Oh, and in case I forgot to tell you. I love the tattoo, and I love you too.” She planted another sweet kiss on his lips, making him smile.

  “Damn right, you do.”

  “Razor?”

  “What?”

“Really? I said I love you, and you say…?”

He grabbed her and pulled her tight against his chest. “I love you more.”

Kissing her one more time. They cleaned up and headed home to deal with whatever tomorrow brought.

  The End
