Tau the Legend

for 35 days, Tau and Helen started to fall in love and he could finally move on, it’s been 4 years since his family was killed, before leaving he took Helen’s hand and said “if I survive my destiny I will come back for you” and left.

  Tau knew that he would encounter the army of deathless slaves and the Cerberus of Hades in his journey ahead. But he had to go back to Eleusis to look for his sword; it was the only weapon that would help him defeat the powers of the Underworld. So he set out to look for his sword, on his way to Eleusis he encountered an awkward relationship, his name was Pylush was a deserter from Taenarum in Laconia, he wondered all over the land looking for riches. He talked allot, always talking of all the riches he will have once his service he provide was done, Tau did not ask questions as he felt it was none of his business. They arrived at Eleusis, the bodies started to rot and the smell was almost unbearable. Tau went to the king’s lair where he found his sword lying next to the king’s throne. Pylush and Tau found Horses on which they would continue their journey, Pylush insisted that they travel through the mountains as it was a short cut to the next city, not knowing the land so good Tau followed Pylush, the route was quick and led to a narrow passage through the mountains. He did not like the feeling he felt but carried on, then Pylush pulled away as if he was running away from Tau, then the sky became gray as if the sun was over the clouds, as Tau looked up he was surrounded and stranded in the mountain path by Centaurs, half man half horse. Tau was tricked by Pylush, this was the service he provided. He delivered Tau to them. Tau was outnumbered; he summoned the power of Zeus by holding his sword up high in the sky. A bolt of lightning struck his sword making it glow with a burning blue flame, as cold as ice. Tau jumped off his horse and stormed the Centaurs cutting slicing and dicing them, they died instantly with one blow, The sword was indestructible the power of Tau was unbeatable ha made the leader of the Centaurs plead for his life, looking around him seeing all of his race extinct by one man. Tau made him tell who send him, but the answer was not surprising, as it was Hades, he promised him a seat next to him in the Underworld. So Tau bend over to whisper in his ear: “send my greetings”. Tau sliced his head of with the burning cold flame sword.

  As Tau did this he noticed the army of deathless slaves approaching over the horizon, so he had to create a strategy to combat them, but they were too many he had to create a way to force them one by one through the passage. He saw a way by piling the bodies of the Centaurs on top of each other creating a narrow passage, only big enough for one of them to pass. As the army entered one by one Tau tried to kill them by bashing them but they were already dead so he started to slice them up with the Eternal Sword of Light, the bodies started to pile up in the narrow passage leaving the dead even more dead. Tau killed every last one of them, leaving him exhausted and depleted of his powers. Hera saw Tau was out on his feet and asked Hades to send his Cerberus to go and kill Tau, so he did; the Cerberus of Hades was on its way to Tau lying between the dead bodies exhausted. While the Cerberus of Hades was on its way to kill him Hera was giving birth to a new, monstrous set of gods, the giants, which were fathered by the Hades her brother she also had two other children with Hades the Erymantian Boar and the Cretan Bull. The giants were as tall as mountains and so strong as to be unbeatable, they looked a lot like human men. But the giants were frightening to look at, their shaggy hair drooped from their heads and chins, and they had dragon scales on their feet. The mightiest giants were Porphyrion and Alkyoneus they were also leading the giants in battle. Alkyoneus could remain immortal as long as he fought in the land of his birth, Pallene, in the region of Thrace. Long ago the gods had received a prophecy from an oracle that made a prediction of the future. This oracle declared that the gods could kill giants but only if they had the help of a mortal. Zeus knew of this prophecy. That was the reasons he always made sure that there would be a mortal child of his own on the earth.

  As the giants were born they were ready for battle and on their way to Olympus where they would kill Zeus and Poseidon. Hera and Hades wanted to rule it all Hera and Hades tried all in their power to kill Tau as they also knew the prophecy, they felt as if time was running out for them to rule it all. Zeus and Poseidon saw the Giants on their way and to Olympia and knew they needed Tau’s help to fulfil the prophecy. But what they were not aware of was that the Cerberus of Hades was on its way to kill Tau. Tau woke up after passing out due to the drainage of his power next to the bodies only to find the Cerberus of Hades killed with a spear stuck right through his chest. He jumped up and looked around where he saw a man lying covered in blood, as Tau approached he came to the finding that it was Apollo himself, he killed the Cerberus with the spear, he was badly hurt and his survival was not looking good, He grabbed Tau’s arm and said “follow your destiny, this was mine from the beginning” and closed his eyes and passed on. Tau was devastated, the man who saved his life, gave his own life to safe him.

  The giants were close to Olympia, but Zeus had a plan. First he prevented the Sun from shining, then the Moon and the Dawn. Before Hera and Hades knew what was happening, he sent Hestia his sister with her chariot to bring Tau up to Mount Olympus. As Tau arrived he was already in a battle mood and ready to kill some giants next to his father and uncle. Alkyoneus led the other giants up Mount Olympus. Tau came to the cliff where he could saw the monstrous giants approaching. Hestia drew her bow and shot Alkyoneus with an arrow that sank completely into the giant's shoulder; he lost his grip and fell to the ground with a massive clash leading to him being killed instantly.

  Tau reached the cliff only to find Poseidon cornered between the rocks and the sheer cliff by Porphyrion, he shouted to Zeus for help. Zeus cast his thunderbolt at Porphyrion, leaving him dazed, Tau acted quickly by cutting the giant in half with his eternal sword. All the gods and giants entered the fight. Poseidon shot one of the giants in the right eye with his thunder, and Tau struck out the left eye. Zeus killed one by whacking him with his thyrsus staff. Hestia set another Giant on fire with torches. Hera eliminated Poseidon by pelting him with white-hot metal. Hades and Hera were losing the battle, Zeus had struck down the rest of the Giants with his thunderbolts, and Tau finished them off where they laid.

  Hera and Hades, who had seen their giants slaughtered by Tau and the Zeus, was enraged. She brought forth Typhon, a super-giant. Typhon was half man, half beast. He was larger and stronger that any of Hera's other giants. He was so tall that he towered over the highest mountains, and his head often brushed the stars. He was of human form down to his thighs, but he had huge dragon like legs. One of his hands reached out to the West and the other to the East, and from them projected a hundred dragons' heads. His body was winged: scruffy hair streamed on the wind from his head and cheeks; and fire flashed from his eyes. There would be a final contest between Typhon and Zeus, but that was not to be, Typhon grabbed Zeus and opened his mouth as to swallow the god, Tau saw this and jumped into the mouth of the super-giant with his sword he sliced open the throat of the giant all the way to its belly, the giant stood idle looking at the demigod cutting him open, then all of the giants intestines fell out along with Tau. Hera was furious as her giants failed to deliver Olympus to her. Zeus banished Hera and Hades to eternal darkness where their father Cronus was.

  Zeus told Tau that he had to kill the other two children of Hades and Hera the Erymantian Boar and the Cretan Bull he would find the Boar in the mountain which they call Erymanthus the Erymantian Boar could only be killed by an arrow dipped in the blood of a Centaur. The Cretan Bull would be found in the Crete Jungle and could only be killed by the blood of the Erymantian Boar. Tau knew he had to go back to where he killed the Centaurs to get a drop of blood. Hestia gave her bow and arrow called the Red Hawk to Tau as a gift in helping them defeat the giants. It took Tau half a year to kill the Erymantian Boar and another year to kill the Cretan Bull, all of Hades and Hera’s children was killed and no more monsters roamed the earth.

  Tau later found himself near Athens where king Laomed
on and his brothers were Kush from Argos and Melius from Belverus. They did not know if Tau was killed by the deathless slaves or not. King Albanus of Eleusis came to them and told them that the army arrived at his city and killed everyone, but he was not certain if Tau and Helen were killed to. They knew the power Tau possessed so they send for reinforcements from Sparta and Arcadia. King Amphitryon of Greece did not send any troops as he wanted nothing to do with their private war with Tau, he knew he would face him if he survived the onslaught of the four kingdoms of Athens, Troy, Sparta and Arcadia awaiting him in Athens. As tau approached Athens he saw the massive army awaiting him over the horizon. Having the Red Hawk of Hestia and his Eternal Sword of Air, he would face them one against thousands. Tau felt indestructible and mighty, but the first arrow struck him, he was not immortal the arrow entered his leg, Tau had to push the arrow right through his leg as it could not be removed by pulling out. The pain was real and the Tau realised that he would not survive this battle alone
