Love in the Rockies

  “I know.” He knew she was genuinely sorry. Eighty percent sorry for taking her anger out on him and probably twenty percent sorry that she was about to be spanked yet again. He pulled down her pants. “No thermals?” he asked.

  “My butt was too sore,” she said.

  “Hmm.” He ran his fingers over the pink marks that still splattered her normally pale skin. “Take you pants off and lay on your back,” he said.

  “Why?” she asked, wide eyed.

  “Because I think your bottom can do with a break.”

  Chapter Four

  “What are you going to do?” Well that was a mute question. She knew exactly what he was going to do. He was going to spank her, down there. Pleasure curled low in her belly and she knew when she was in the embarrassing position he would insist on she was not going to be able to prevent him from seeing.

  “I’m going to spank your pretty pussy lips,” he said, wiggling his brows.

  Erin’s face flamed with embarrassment. “Maybe I’m not still that sore.”

  “You need a lesson in doing as you are told. Now lie on your back and pull your knees up. You know the drill.”

  “But—”

  “Now, Erin.”

  Right, he was done playing. If she didn’t do as she was told, he would think up something worse. She stomped off her pants and panties and crawled up onto the bed, positioning herself as he’d asked. Zach kneeled right in front of her.

  He said nothing but ran a finger through her slit and held it up for her to see how wet they were. “Feeling better already, I see,” he said.

  “Zach!”

  “Just let yourself feel, baby. Stop trying to stay angry.”

  “I’m not,” she said, the words coming out harsher than she intended.

  Zach’s hand bounced off her pussy and the sharp sting made her jump. “Ow.” Her hand instinctively slid down to cover herself but was quickly slapped away.

  “Are you allowed to cover your bottom?” he asked.

  “You’re not spanking my bottom,” she whined.

  “That wasn’t the question I asked. Are you allowed to cover your bottom?”

  “No, sir.”

  “That’s right, so what makes you think that I’ll allow you to cover your pussy from me while I’m spanking it?”

  “Nothing, sir.”

  “Good girl.”

  Zach sat there in front of her, smacking her delicate lips over and over. He seemed to be spurred on by the juices that she knew had escaped from her. The more she tried to resist allowing this humiliation to feel good, the hotter it made her. Even her sore rear end betrayed her, pushing down and grinding into the bed, regardless of the chafe from the comforter beneath her. Suddenly the spanking stopped and she almost cried. She wanted to tell Zach to keep going, that she did like it, that she wanted to come.

  “Spread your legs wider,” Zach growled in a voice thick with his own need.

  Erin did immediately, sucking in a breath when he touched her swollen pearl. “Yes, touch me there,” she panted.

  Instead he bent down and kissed it before spanking her again.

  She hissed as he stepped up the spanking, his hand covering every inch of her now very pink lips but concentrating on the place she most wanted to be kissed better and soothed. “Please, Zach,” she whined. He did touch her there but the touch wasn’t gentle. The spanks fell hard and sharp, biting her softest skin, even moving higher to make the tops of her thighs smolder. She didn’t care at all about the burn. All she cared about was the thumping need that pulsed painfully between her legs.

  Finally Zach stopped and knelt between her legs, grinning at his handiwork. “Feel better?” he asked.

  “No, I need more,” she squeaked stupidly, jumping when he took her at her word. This time though, he concentrated on one place. Two fingers spread her lips and she squirmed, desperate for his touch, The spank that followed though wasn’t exactly the touch she’d hoped for but she took it, reveled in it, swirling her hips and bouncing her bottom on the bed, pushing her nub towards his hand.

  “I think you like this,” he said, rewarding her with another smack. “Don’t you?”

  Oh God, he wanted her to form words. “Mmmm,” she moaned.

  “Good girl.” He pinched her nub between his fingers.

  “Oh yes!” she yelled, her body trembling. Then he was on her, sucking her, lapping up her juices as wave after wave of excitement trilled through her, making her whole body hum with the perfection of those few moments.

  “Now I feel better,” she said with a grin.

  “You’re about to feel even better,” Zach said, flipping her onto her belly. “So am I. On your knees.”

  Erin’s belly twisted with renewed delight at his commanding tone and she scrambled onto her knees, parting her legs just in time as Zach gripped her hips firmly and surged inside her. His breath was hot on her back but his lips were soft. She loved the contradiction of this man. He could be hard and stern one minute, gentle and caring the next.

  “Oh you’re so soft,” he said, his fingers teasing her taut nipples.

  “Oh yes, Zach. Right there.” She could feel his tension building. His soft lips were now tongue and teeth being anything but gentle as he nipped and suckled any part of her flesh that he could get to.

  “Here?” he asked.

  “Yes, there.” She almost wanted to cry, she was so close. She squeezed her muscles tightly and he groaned, slumping heavily against her in his quest to get deeper. Then a hand snaked around and touched her; his fingers massaging the outside of her sex while his hard cock pounded her insides. It was too much, for the second time within minutes, shudder after shudder overtook her.

  “Erin.” Zach slapped her bottom, bringing her back to the present. He growled in her ear, one hand squeezing each of her breasts. He wanted her attention, to feel his presence as he filled her with his seed. It was basic and primal and she had never felt, so…satisfied.

  “What’s for breakfast?” Zach asked.

  “Food,” Erin said with a grin.

  “Something vegetarian, I’m guessing, Miss Animal Rights advocate.”

  “Not exactly.” She grinned. “Bacon, eggs, and pancakes.”

  “I think I may have to change your title to Miss Hypocrite.”

  “No. I still care about those poor animals. I’m just hungry and the poor pigs have already had their lives taken. I can’t bring them back to life by missing breakfast. That would just mean they died for nothing.”

  “Your power of reasoning amazes me, but I’m too hungry to think,” Zach said, chuckling. “Let’s get this breakfast cooked.” He poured them both a glass of juice while she started the coffee.

  Erin flopped back onto the bed, her belly overly full. “Oh, I ate too much.”

  Zach lay next to her with a book. “Me too, but that’s what a vacation is about, isn’t it?”

  “Mmmhmm. That and relaxing.”

  “And making love.”

  “Yes, it is,” Erin said, leaning over to kiss him. “But what can we do about the hunting?”

  “Not participate,” Zach said simply.

  “Well, that’s not very proactive.”

  “Look, neither of us has any interest in shooting. We don’t have any guns or rifles and we wouldn’t have a clue how to use them if we did.”

  “Yes, but how do we stop the other people from killing those beautiful creatures?”

  “We can’t, Erin. It’s not our call. For the record, I don’t believe in it, but I don’t think it’s up to me to tell other people what they can and can’t do.”

  “Why not?”

  “What about us?”

  “What about us?”

  “We’re spankos, we believe in head of house and domestic discipline. A lot of other people don’t. That’s why we went to live in Corbin’s Bend, because it was safer and because we did
n’t want to be judged.”

  “We’re not hurting anybody.” Erin huffed.

  “Some people would beg to differ.”

  “Well, it wouldn’t hurt to point out to people that they are being unbelievably cruel.”

  “It just might, hurt your ass I mean. You don’t seem to be getting my subtle point so I’ll lay it on the line for you, honey. You are forbidden to approach any person here about hunting. No man, woman, or child.”

  “They let children hunt?” Erin was horrified. “Oh my goodness, it just gets worse.”

  “Are you even listening to what I’m saying, or are you just picking out words here and there?”

  “I heard the word forbidden, I get it.” Zach didn’t use the word lightly but when he did he meant business and Erin knew that. Luckily she was very inventive at taking him exactly at his word. So she couldn’t talk to people about their preferences of murdering animals. Perhaps there was something else she could do. What exactly, she wasn’t sure, but something.

  * * * * *

  Zach was slightly worried about Erin’s obsession with the hunting, but he’d laid down the law and he didn’t doubt at all that she’d listen to him. His wife could be impulsive and a little fiery, but she wasn’t defiant, not usually anyway. He decided that she needed a treat, a couple actually. After all, this was a trip she was supposed to be remembering for good reasons. Not because she’d set some kind of record for being on the receiving end of spankings. Erin had once again braved the cold to go and visit the public restroom. That would give him time to plan. He picked up the brochure and flicked through it. Perfect. He’d order her a massage. In the meantime, while she was there, he would prepare them a special meal.

  “You okay?” he asked when Erin clunked through the door of the RV.

  “Just cold,” she said. “And don’t tell me to use that bathroom because I’m happy to go for a walk if I have to go. Ecstatic even.”

  “Okay then,” Zach said. “Suit yourself. I’m going to go and get some stuff for dinner. Are you going to be okay here by yourself for a while, or would you like to come for the walk?”

  “I’ll come with you,” she said. “We could explore a little and look for some of the natural springs.”

  “Come on then. Put your shoes back on.”

  “Argh! The worst thing about winter. You know I can understand why bears hibernate.”

  “You might have something there,” he said, clipping his own snow shoes on before stepping outside.

  * * * * *

  “Better put these on,” Zach said, passing Erin a pair of snow shoes. He was looking at a map. “We have to hike up here some.”

  “How far?” Erin was enjoying the walk with her gloved hand inside Zach’s. They were yet to have a soak in the main pool but it would be even better to find a smaller, more private area.

  “Not too sure. Not too far I don’t think.” Zach took her hand again and they crunched through the snow covered trees.

  Finally after what had to have been an hour, they both saw it at once. “I see steam!” Erin said.

  “I see it too,” Zach said. “Isn’t that just something?”

  Erin was in awe. She took off her glove and bent down to feel the steaming water. She wanted to see if it was as warm as it looked. “Oh my. It’s hot.”

  Zach did the same. “It is hot. Nature’s amazing isn’t it? To think that this kind of luxury was just placed here in the middle of nowhere.”

  “I know, and there’s more I bet.”

  “Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day,” Zach said. “We’ll come hiking again and we’ll find the best pool to swim in, by ourselves.”

  “That’s a perfect way to spend Valentine’s Day.”

  “Now we better go get some supplies.”

  * * * * *

  “You’re right. This is a good little store,” Zach said, picking things off the shelves and placing them in his basket. “Of course it’d probably be cheaper at a proper market but then we’d have to pay for gas to get there so no real saving.”

  “Yeah. Actually, the prices aren’t as bad as I expected them to be.”

  “Oh and look! The wine is local.”

  “Nice,” Erin said, admiring the bottle.

  “You know, why don’t you pick yourself out some chocolate and snacks? I’m going to just go and visit the restroom while we’re here.”

  “Okay.” Erin was happy scanning the magazines and filling the basket with her favorite candy bars. She had no idea that Zach might have something up his sleeve. She did her best to ignore the posters and the rifles that were on shelves along one wall. Live and let live, she thought, how ironic.

  * * * * *

  Zach didn’t take long at all to put his plans in motion and he was soon back, wearing a big smile. He took her hand and kissed her. Let’s go and have lunch in the restaurant,” he said. There’s soup and homemade bread.”

  “I don’t know if I’m hungry.”

  “You can have vegetable soup if you like, although I have it on good authority that the meat was already dead when they put it in the soup,” he teased.

  “Don’t be mean.”

  “I’m only teasing. Come on. Let’s take this stuff back to the RV and we’ll come back for a late lunch.”

  * * * * *

  “It was delicious soup,” Erin said, wiping the last piece of her scrumptious bread around the bowl.

  “It was wasn’t it?”

  “Are you going to have dessert?” There was always room for dessert, it went down a different way.

  “You don’t have time,” Zach said. A smile suddenly appearing and lighting up his handsome face. “I have a surprise for you.”

  “Oh? Yay! What kind of surprise?”

  “I’ve made you a couple of appointments. While you go and have a relax, I’m going to make you dinner. I’ll get some dessert for after, if you like.”

  Erin grinned. “I think you left out a major part. What kind of appointment?”

  “A massage, a facial, and a nail appointment. They do full service here.”

  “Oh my, Zach, that’s so lovely and thoughtful.” Erin was so touched by the effort he put into her surprise, but she was a little hesitant about the massage.

  “Do I hear a but?”

  “Not exactly but they will see my butt, more to the point.”

  “Don’t worry. I told them you were shy and not to expect you to remove your shorts.”

  “Oh thank goodness,” Erin said. “I mean, I don’t really care but I don’t want to spend Valentine’s on my own while you get hauled off to jail.” And she didn’t. It had always been a major fear of hers until they moved to Corbin’s Bend and now that hesitancy was returning. It was lovely to have a break in such a lovely place but there was nowhere else that she’d been ever that gave her the kind of secure feeling that she’d had since they moved to Corbin’s Bend. This trip was showing her that. Sometimes you don’t really appreciate what you have until it isn’t there in front of you. For now though, she was about to get a massage and some pretty new fingernails, with no one begging for a flower on the toe. She missed her girls, of course, but she was enjoying her ‘me’ and ‘us’ time.

  “I’ll take your snow shoes if you like, one less thing for you to worry about. You’re only going to take the path back to the RV, aren’t you?”

  “Yes, that’d be a good idea,” Erin said, passing them to him. “Oh and Zach?”

  “Uh huh?”

  “I love you. You’re the best husband ever.”

  * * * * *

  “Are you enjoying your time here?” The young massage therapist asked as she kneaded Erin’s taut muscles.

  “It’s lovely,” Erin said. “It’s a shame they have to spoil the perfection of the place by allowing hunting.” The therapist didn’t reply and Erin assumed she’d said the wrong thing. After a few minutes though, she opened the door, Erin assumed to peak out because when she closed it again she leaned in and whispered.

“I can’t comment on that, I’ll lose my job.”

  Erin nodded. “So you don’t agree with it then?”

  The girl shook her head. “It’s big business. Those people pay a lot of money for the privilege.”

  “Surely there’s a better way to make money than that, though.”

  The girl but rolled her eyes. “Not that kind of money.”

  “What could we do to help stop it?”

  “I don’t think there’s anything, really. If you protested or tried to stop it some other way, they’d just kick you out. This is private property. They can do what they want. Besides, they are all really nice people. They have to make a living you know?”

  Erin smiled, laid her head on her arm and tried her best to enjoy the rest of her rub down.

  * * * * *

  Despite once again letting the fate of the elk get to her, Erin felt renewed and full of energy. It was a shame she had to hide her pretty nails inside gloves but new nails weren’t much good if they were joined to frost bitten hands.

  It was still light but because of cloud cover it was getting dimmer as she walked. Out of one of the main buildings, a group of people wandered down a bit of a different shoveled path and cut across the snow covered ground that headed into the woods. Erin sighed, she wanted to hope that they, like she and Zach were looking for springs, she knew that that wasn’t the case. They had rifles. Panic welled in Erin’s chest and she didn’t know what to do. Her first instinct was to run back to the RV to get Zach but she knew that he’d tell to mind her business, that it was dangerous to start an argument with people with guns. Not to mention that he’d told her to leave the hunters alone. What other option did she have? She could warn the cows, well maybe not all of them but if she could save even just one, then she’d be able to feel like she’d done something.
