  “What a truly enjoyable story! Cole and Sage are such incredible characters. I loved the interactions between these two as he showed her what it would be like to be his Submissive and maybe so much more. And don’t even get me started on their unreal chemistry! Absolutely sizzling! I fell in love with these two and kept hoping they would end up together. If you want to know what happens, then take a chance and enjoy the ride! I highly recommend you read this book!”

  “Road Trip was an amazing and delightful read. This book is super-hot and sexy. It makes you laugh and smile and all those feelings in your lower region. A great love story between two people who got to know and understand each other, and what they wanted. Definitely a page turner, hard to put it down, I absolutely loved it.”

  ~~~~~~
  “Cole and Sage will set your reader on fire and scorch you where you sit! A quick read that has everything you have come to expect from this author: a drool-worthy, dominant lead, a sassy submissive to make it interesting, sizzling chemistry, a storyline with writing that makes reality disappear as you mentally sink into the pages, and at least one supporting character you will want to steal for yourself. I was emotionally caught up in the story and felt the sensual pull of the relationship alongside the pain and frustration when I couldn’t decide whether to hug or slap the characters.”
  Prologue
  Three months ago …
  “Any problems?” asked Cratos, the owner of The Rouge Lounge, an exclusive BDSM club in New Orleans at Twelvemile Point on the banks of the Ms.issippi. He joined the club manager, who was also his best friend, on the upper mezzanine level overlooking the dungeon below.
  “None, which is surprising, since it’s a very busy night.” Liam Flynn glanced at the tall man by his side. “I didn’t expect to see you tonight.”
  “I have a meeting with a potential Security Manager for my various business enterprises.” Master Cratos rested his arms on the balustrade of the balcony and leaned forward. As a well-known and very powerful Dom in the BDSM community, he’d earned the name Cratos in reference to its meaning in Greek Mythology of divine personification of strength. “He’s also a well-known Dom in the BDSM community as a Shibari expert. He’ll be an asset to the club.”
  “If he’s so sought after, why is he looking for a position here?”
  They only appointed staff at the club who doubled as Doms, provided they were experienced and had a niche—a skill that would draw more members. They offered numerous demonstrations by these skilled Doms to entice interest and grow their numbers.
  Cratos glanced at Liam. “Always cynical.” He took a sip of the single malt whiskey that Bella, the club coordinator who looked after him at the club, had just handed him. “Fergus McGrath is a fellow countryman of yours although he grew up in the States. He recently relocated from Los Angeles to New Orleans in support of his sister whose husband passed away and left her with two little boys and no money.”
  “Well, if he’s Irish, he’s perfect.”
  Cratos chuckled. His gaze sharpened on a shapely form that had just entered the dungeon adorned in a skimpy black mini skirt and a silver an
d black demi cup corset. He watched as the woman tossed back her hair. His eyes narrowed as the luxurious russet strands shone in the dim lights, drawing his attention to her tiny waist as the ends teased the small of her back. A sight that entranced him in a similar fashion as that of a sassy employee of his.
  “Who is she?”
  “Who is who?” Liam’s eyes followed his avid gaze. “The tall one?”
  “Yes, the redhead with the silver and black corset.”
  “She’s known in the club as Cinderella. She comes here every last Saturday of the month. The blonde with her is Devon Vale’s cousin. I’ve given them a standing visitor’s invitation, provided they pay an entrance fee and follow club rules.”
  “Cinderella.” Cratos rolled the name on his tongue. A wicked smile curved his lips. “Very appropriate,” he murmured as she looked over her shoulder and he gazed upon her beautiful oval-shaped face with a rounded jaw that was surprisingly strong at the same time. Something that had enchanted him for years. He could see her pursed lips from where he stood, their plum-rich succulence begging to be kissed. In one word, she was a passion-breathing beauty. His gaze moved over her creamy skin, rounded shoulders and slim waist to hesitate on the flare of her curvy hips before his narrowed countenance traced over her legs that climbed all the way to heaven. Lust clenched a hard fist around his cock and squeezed. She was sheer perfection, and even from a distance, he felt branded by her beauty.
  Liam’s gaze shot to him. “You know her?”
  “I do and she’s the last woman I ever thought would set foot in a BDSM club … but now that I know she’s in the Lifestyle, I’ll make a point of being here every last Saturday.”
  “Well, well, well,” Liam stared speculatively at Cratos, “miracles do happen. You never scene in the club and only do demonstrations on the rare occasion. The only time I’ve seen you touch a sub in here is when you identify a need that’s not being fulfilled and correct it.” His gaze sharpened as a smile twitched his lips. “It’s the first time you’re the hunter.”
  “Ah, but this little snip is worth the effort, my friend. I can’t wait to bend her over my knee and spank her cute little ass.”
  Chapter One
  “You’re not serious!”
  Sage Porter glared at Cole Sawyer, the Dean of the Sawyer Academy. The distance separating them across his humongous desk was reduced by the animosity spitting from her eyes that turned their usual clear beauty to a deep, swirling emerald shine.
  He, the disreputable devil, was unperturbed in the face of her anger. He sat back in the chair and stretched out his long legs. The rat-a-tat of his fingers on the desk grated on her nerves but she bit back the snappy remark hovering on her lips.
  “How long have you worked at the university, Ms. Porter?”
  As always, she was shaken by how her insides quivered as his deep grating voice flowed through her mind. It annoyed her that she became so easily unsettled under his direct cerulean stare.
  Well, hell, it’s no wonder. Since when is a computer science professor and private university owner supposed to be this hot, sexy, and gorgeously fuckable?
  Her tongue did an unconscious foray over her lips as her eyes moved over his neat short black hair. There were times it was tousled and gave him a devilish appearance. Her stomach clenched as she recalled watching him drag his hands through it when he was concentrating. Her eyes moved over his broad forehead, high cheekbones, and square sculpted jaw. His aquiline nose sat above a wide, very kissable mouth that appeared wicked, framed by his neat goatee. His cheeks were clean shaven but always had a touch of a five o’clock shadow.
  “Well?” His lips twitched upward at her intense scrutiny.
  She shifted in the chair but refused to lower her eyes, no matter that she could feel her nipples tightening into hard little stones. Luckily for her, it had been cool that morning and she had slipped on a thin cotton jacket. At least it helped to keep the embarrassing effect the man had on her a secret from his too sharp gaze.
  “Three years.” She responded to the question on how long she’d worked for him
  His lips twitched in amusement at her blunt response but his eyes glimmered darkly. It sent an uneasy, yet familiar shudder through her body. One she had never felt outside the walls of The Rouge Lounge, a BDSM Club she frequented once a month with her best friend, Talia Scott. It had become a monthly outing after payday, the last Saturday of every month. It was an exclusive club that only catered to paid members, but the extravagant monthly fee was too high for their professor’s income. Talia’s cousin was one of the Senior Doms at the club and they had a standing invitation, provided they paid the exorbitant entrance fee as visitors.
  “Well? Can I depend on your cooperation with the summer road trip?”
  The way Cole Sawyer looked at her reminded her of Master Cratos, the owner of the club, and a Dom most of the subs feared. He had the innate ability to hone into a sub’s hidden desires and ensured she got exactly what she needed, no matter what she believed otherwise.
  Not that she had personal experience. She was too shit scared of the powerful Dom and made sure she hid when he walked around the club.
  Sage enjoyed the challenges and the relaxation BDSM offered, and that was all she was interested in. The intensity of just watching Master Cratos talking or demonstrating with a sub was way too heavy for her to deal with. For one thing, she liked to maintain some level of control in a scene. Something, she’d been told emphatically, would cost her rear end dearly if Master Cratos were aware of it. Luckily for her, he was hardly at the club on the nights they went, which suited her just fine.
  Well … he never used to be, but over the last three months, he appeared like a phantom every time they went there. He lurked in the background soon after Talia and she arrived at the club. The first time, she’d been so startled when she’d bumped into the masked man’s chest, she’d turned tail and ran. He always wore a black face mask that covered more than half of his face, which made his appearance all the more intimidating.
  “Ms. Porter,” Cole’s voice slashed toward her like the sharp crack of a whip, “I asked you a question.”
  “I’m sorry. My mind wandered. What was the question?”
  “I don’t like repeating myself, so I suggest you pay attention.”
  “Of course,” she said biting back the words, I’m all ears, in the wake of his narrowed eyes. Everything about him suddenly spelled danger … loud and clear. A warning tingle of unease rippled down her spine. Somehow, this side of him screamed of the very intimidating Master Cratos!
  Get a grip, Sage. High and mighty Cole Sawyer is too cold to be a caring Dom … not in any alternate universe!
  “The road trip this summer vacation, Ms. Porter. Can I depend on your cooperation?”
  “Why me? I don’t even own a motorcycle, let alone know how to ride one. For that matter, I have no desire to turn into a sticky, smelly mess at the end of every day’s drive. I’m afraid you’ll have to ask one of the other female professors on the staff. I’m not the motorcycle type.”
  “Ms. Porter, am I correct in saying that you’re the only female staff member who hasn't been involved in any of the trips we’ve arranged for the students?”
  “I volunteered last year to be the attending chaperone for the boat trip to Florida.” She waved her hands in the air. “It’s not my fault you chose Keisha over me.”
  “Keisha hadn’t seen her parents in five years. Surely you didn’t expect me to deny her the opportunity to visit them as part of the trip?”
  “That’s not …” Sage heaved in a calming breath. Trying to spar with this man was fruitless. “I’ll volunteer to go next year but a road trip on the back of a motorcycle over a distance of god knows how many miles … I—”
  “Ms. Porter, it seems you misunderstood me. I didn’t ask you if you would attend. I am telling you; you will be the attending chaperone on the road trip this summer vacation. All I want to know is whether I can depend on your coo
peration.”
  “Mr. Sawyer, you have no right to force me to …” Her words drifted off as his eyebrow twitched upward. “Look, be reasonable. I don’t rough it. I like to sleep in a comfortable bed and I refuse to shower in communal bathrooms. I’ll be more of a burden than assistance to whoever else is going, especially to the students.”
  “I have full confidence in your ability to adapt to any circumstances, Ms. Porter. Insofar as being a burden to the students?” A Cheshire grin split over his face. “You were their choice for this trip.”
  “What? I don’t believe you. Since when is it up to them to choose who accompanies them?”
  “I decided to change things a little this year. This kind of trip requires the professors who accompany the group to be liked and trusted, because tempers flare easily when people are tired. Apart from the other two accompanying profs, you were elected unanimously.” He got up. Even with the desk separating them, he towered over her. “Let me make this as clear as I possibly can, Ms. Porter. You don’t have a choice. Either you accompany us on this trip … or you won’t have a teaching position to return to after the summer break.”
  “That’s extortion!”
  Cole shrugged. “No, it’s a fact. You are going on this road trip with us and it’s not up for further debate.”
  “You said … us. Who is us?”
  “I didn’t tell you? I’m personally leading this year’s summer trip. And you don’t have to worry about being unsafe on the back of a motorcycle, Ms. Porter. I’ve been riding since I was ten years old.”
  “W-What do you mean?”
  “You’ll be riding with me. On the back of my Harley.”
