Shawty Fell In Love With A Hustla 3
Page 16
Two days into our stakeout and no one has yet to leave the house. I was about to say fuck it and kick the doors down until I saw a figure walking up the street.
“Zoom in on that girl crossing the street. Over.”
“Got it boss. Over.”
I sat back and tried my best to see if that was Tangi. Instead of walking through the front door, I saw her go around the side of the house. She then pulled something that look like a set of stairs and climbed down them.
“This motherfucker has a secret entrance in the house!” I yelled.
“Move now!!!” I yelled in the walkie-talkie.
An army of men could be seen running towards the house as if they were the SWAT team. Ralph and I sat back in the car and smoked a blunt while watching everything go down. Shortly upon entering the house, the guys ran out holding black bags that were thrown in the back of the black van. Instead of following them, we went to our hotel room to shower, eat and get some sleep.
When we touched down in Columbia, instead of going our separate ways with Ralph heading back to the States and me going home, we went to the torture chambers. The torture chambers were something my father had from back in his gangster days that he no longer used. Me being the person that I am, I decided to open it back up and have some fun.
The chamber looked like something that you would see in the movies. It was in a ducked off location where there was no cellular towers, so calling for help was not an option. The inside was sound proof. Therefore, no matter how loud the victims screamed or hollered, it would fall on deaf ears. I was loving this place the more I walked around in amazement as I studied every detail. I ran my hand through all the different torture tools and my dick got hard. I was ready to inflict some pain on these motherfuckers, who thought it was okay to fuck with my money. If Smoke had died then my streets would have went dry until I brought someone on to make shit shake for me. That thought alone angered me. A motherfucker was about to feel it for trying to take food out my kids mouth.
“What the fuck is this?!” I yelled when I walked inside.
“They were already dead when we found them,” Redman, my lead man said.
“Are you on dope or dog food? Why the fuck did you bring them here?!” I yelled.
“You told me to bring out everyone in the house,” he replied.
“No, dumb ass. I told your illiterate ass to bring me Tangi and Geek, not his fucking kids and mother,” I said looking at their dead bodies. “How is this shit possible? I saw someone that looked like Tangi go down those damn stairs!” I said stressfully running my hand through my waves.
“This bitch is smart!” I yelled. “I was better off hiring her than y’all dumb asses.”
“Damn, I can’t believe this bitch pulled a fast one over on us,” Ralph said.
“Yes and these dumb ass niggas were probably too busy sucking each other’s dick to see it! I swear if I didn’t need y’all it would have been lights out for all you motherfuckers! Now get rid of the bodies,” I demanded.
I was at lost for words, for the first time in my life; I was thrown in a loop. How the fuck were they able to get by me blew my fucking mind. Another thing that fucked me up in the head was seeing the bodies of Geek’s mom and kids. Was he that ruthless to off his own blood like that? Or did that crazy bitch do it? I was stuck with all these questions I had no answer to.
“What do you think happen?” Ralph asked.
“Don’t let me lie to you, hell if I know.” I shrugged.
“You want me to stay out here until we figure this shit out?”
“Nah, go home to wifey and the kids. I don’t need her crazy ass calling to cuss me out about how I’m the reason you can never keep your black ass home.” I chuckled.
“Yeah man, that’s my baby. She is a trip.” Ralph laughed.
“More like a fucking headache.”
“Women are indecisive ass creatures. You don’t work they get on your ass, you work too much they get on your ass. I’m starting to think that there isn’t shit we could ever do to keep their asses satisfied,” Ralph vented.
“Get the fuck out of your feelings. Go home and eat your wife’s pussy until she loses all types of understanding. You do that, and then you’ll get some act right out of her,” I lectured.
“I hear ya, Give Lala my love, I’m about to get on this jet and head home.”
“It’s all love bro. I’ll hit you up if anything comes up.”
“Bet.”
Chapter 24
Judge Lee
“Ahhhhhhh!” She yelled as I hit her across the back with a leather whip.
“Stupid bitch!” I spat as I continued the vicious beating I was giving her.
Her skin was tore up and blood poured from her open wounds. The amount of pain, I was inflicting was not nearly the amount of pain she caused my daughter. She was the reason my daughter would have to experience hurt again and I was not ok with that. When I got back in my daughter’s life, I made a promise to protect her by any means. This bitch crossed the line when she tried to kill my daughter.
“Oh God, please stop,” Tangi yelled as I poured alcohol on her open cuts.
“Did you stop when you tried to kill my daughter? What about when you had the father of her child murdered?” I yelled before kicking her in the head hard.
“Fix her up!” I yelled to one of my doctor friends.
I had no intention on killing her just yet. I was going to make her regret the day her mother brought her into this world. The day she decided to fuck with my daughter was the day she signed her death certificate.
“What do you want me to do with him?” Jackson, the CIA agent I was close with asked.
“Break his legs, but I don’t want him dead,” I said, walking out of the CIA headquarters.
I pulled off the jump suit that covered my Armani pant suit and stuffed it in the garbage bin. Touching up my make-up, I got in my car and rushed off to the courthouse.
Locating Tangi and Geek was a very easy task. When the crime scene investigator ruled Karrueche’s accident as an attempted murder, I had the forensics team going over the crime scenes every day until they could find something. On the ground, where the truck was intentionally set on fire was a bloodstain. After getting the DNA on the blood sample, I learned that it belonged to a Tangela Wright. It was hard for me to locate her at first, so I had to bring in my CIA agent friend for assistance. When they were able to locate her, there were other people with their own agenda staking the house out.
Not wanting them to get to her before I could, I ordered the guys to move in and leave no evidence behind. Being the trained men that they were, they brought back Tangi and Geek in one peace before killing his mother as well as his kids. It was heartless to commit such an act against innocent people. Where was their heart when my daughter and grandchild lives were at risk? To throw the men that were watching the house off, I hired a girl that fit Tangi’s description to walk in and out the house through a secret entrance. When we got word that, they were going to move in, the guys grabbed the decoy and we left the city of Columbus with our target in tow.

After court, I rushed to the hospital because Nao was in pre term labor. If it weren’t for that low life son of a bitch she was stressing over, she wouldn’t have been at risk of giving birth to my grandchild at thirty-three weeks. I knew something was off with Dale when she introduced me to him two years ago, but because she was so in love, I decided not to mettle in her business.
When Nao found out how much of a dog he was at their baby shower, I was hoping she would leave the no good motherfucker alone, but that wasn’t the case. She swore up and down that Karrueche knew that they were together all along. She thought that Karrueche intentionally got with him in order to get back at her. Nao’s logic behind everything was dumber than Patrick from SpongeBob SquarePants but she was sticking to her story. Now my daughter hated her baby sister over a man that meant her no go
od.
“Mom, it hurts so badly,” Nao cried while reaching her hands out for me.
“Move asshole.” I pushed by Dale to get to my baby.
No matter how dumb she was over this sorry excuse for a man, she was still my daughter who I was still going to love and be there for her.
“Breathe baby, you have to breathe and remember the breathing exercise you learned.”
“Oh God, make it stop,” she cried once another contraction tore through her body. I felt so helpless by not being able to heal her pain, but it was life. Women were made to reproduce and when they did, it was a painful feeling thanks to Eve.
“Hello Nao, how are you feeling love?” The doctor asked.
“I’m in so much pain, this should be illegal,” Nao cried.
“Since you are too early to have this baby, I’m going to give you a shot of a tocolytic medication to stop your contractions, in hope of slowing your labor down. We’re going to keep you here for a week or so to monitor you afterwards,” the doctor spoke.
“Can you hurry and give me the shot now!” Nao yelled out.
“The nurse will be in shortly,” she smiled.
“Thank you,” I said before grabbing the cup and feeding Nao some ice chips. “Baby, you have to calm down for me,” I spoke to her in a soothing voice.
Dale just stood off to the side engrossed in his phone, probably texting the next bitch. I couldn’t stand his ass, if I was able to get rid of him without hurting my daughter, I would. One phone call and his ass would come up missing, hell the more I looked at him the more appealing that idea sounded.
Once the nurse came in to give Nao the shot, she instantly drifted off to sleep. I sat in the bed next to her, scrolling through my phone. Just as I was about to pull up a work file and start reviewing documents for a case, Karrueche’s nurse texted me saying that she just woke up.
“Keep an eye on her, I will be back!” I snapped at Dale before making my way out of Nao’s room.
Chapter 25
Karrueche
The heartbeat from the machine connected to my belly scared the hell out of me. Why was this on me? Why was I in a hospital room? I wondered looking around. Just as I was about to push the call button, the door opened and my mother walked in.
“Mom,” I said, shocking myself.
“Oh my baby, you’re ok!” She exclaimed.
“What happened?” I asked
“You don’t remember the accident?” She asked.
The more I tried to think back to the day I got in the terrible crash, the more I could hear Eyanna and Tangi’s voice in my head. They purposely tried to kill me, but I didn’t remember why. I then remembered feeling a gush of liquid between my legs, which I assumed was pee. Was I pregnant?
“I remember Eyanna and Tangi trying to kill me,” I cried.
“Shhhh, it’s okay now. Mommy is going to take care of everything. Who is Eyanna?” My mother asked me.
“She’s my dad’s ex-wife’s daughter,” I replied.
I watched as she pulled out her phone, her fingers moved quickly across the key pad as she sent a series of text messages.
“Mom am I pregnant?” I asked, hearing the heart beats get louder and louder.
“Yes, four months. You didn’t know?”
“I had no idea. I mean, I did miss a few periods but that was normal to me since the birth of my son. I had no symptoms of pregnancy,” I said.
“Have you ever watched the show I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant? Believe me, it happens.”
“Where is Smoke?” I asked.
She looked at me as if I asked her the most difficult question in the world. She played with her fingers then cleared her throat. Her body language told me something was wrong, I just couldn’t figure out what.
“Oh my God! CheChe, you’re up.” Shantika burst in the room saving her.
“Yeah, I’m up and pregnant,” I said trying to make sense of what was going on.
“Yes, sixteen weeks, and the only reason I’m not mad is because I’m sure you didn’t know.”
Before I could say another word, my mother’s phone rung. She looked at it then silenced the ringer.
“I have to take this. I will check on you later. Nao is in labor and delivery, so I will be by to check on the both of you,” my mother said.
“Labor and delivery? Isn’t it too soon?” I asked.
“Apparently that idiot she’s with has been stressing her out,” she rolled her eyes.
“Wow.”
“I’m out of here, feel better baby.” She rubbed my belly before walking out of my hospital room.
“Aren’t you glad you dodged that bullet.” Shantika laughed.
“He might be the father of my baby,” I revealed.
“What you talking about Willis?” She asked, looking at me sideways.
“Four months ago Dale picked me up from jail and we had sex. Later that same day, Smoke came over and we had sex too. Oh my God, I’m such a hoe,” I cried.
“You’re not a hoe, you are just a rolling stone,” she chuckled.
“That’s not funny. I could possibly be having a baby with my sister’s fiancé.”
“That’s some shit you read about in one of those hood books.” She smirked.
“You are no help. What am I going to tell Smoke? Speaking of the devil, where is he?” I asked.
Just as my mother did, Shantika gave me that same faraway look. Something was up and they didn’t want to tell. Maybe he decided to leave me for his family with Tangi. This probably why she wanted me dead, to be with Smoke. I was starting to feel like shit; both of the possible fathers of my unborn child were both tied down.
“If he decided to be with Tangi, just let me know. I’m a big girl, I can take it,” I replied.
“He’s not with her.”
“Then why when I ask about him it’s such a big deal? Is he dead or some shit?”
The look on her face gave it away. Tears formed in her eyes causing my heart to melt. She opened her mouth to say something, but then closed it again.
“Smoke is dead?” I shrieked.
“I’m soooooo sorry, Karrueche,” she said wrapping her arms around me.
“Nooooooooo, what happened!!!?” I cried.
“He got shot.”
“Oh God, no. When did this happen? When is his funeral? Oh God, I have to get out of here!!” I sobbed. I suddenly got dizzy and my body temperature rose.
“He has already been buried,” she whispered.
“HE WHAT?!” I yelled.
“I’m sorry Karrueche. I’m so sorry.” She cried.
“Oh God, why does this keep happening? Why does everybody I love always die? God what am I doing wrong?” I wailed.
The more I cried, the louder the beeping sound from my machine got. I couldn’t grasp what was going on. He was just here with me. We were just saying ‘I love you’ to each other. How could he be dead? First my dad, then my unborn child, now the love of my life. I was sure I was doing everything in life right, so why did I have this cloud of bad luck stuck over me?
“Karrueche, you have to calm down. You are stressing the baby,” the nurse said as she came rushing in the room.
“He’s really dead? Oh my God, I can’t believe he’s dead,” I sobbed.
“Karrueche honey, if you don’t calm down we are going to be forced to put you back to sleep in a medically induced coma,” the nurse spoke.
“CheChe baby, calm down,” Shantika said trying to soothe me, but I couldn’t.
I was hurting something terrible from loss of Smoke. The guy that I grew so accustomed to waking up with was gone. The sad part about it was I didn’t get the chance to say my final goodbye. The more I thought of the situation, the angrier I became. It was all Tangi and Eyanna’s fault; they took everything away from me. If it wasn’t for them trying to kill me then maybe I could have prevented Smoke’s death.
I heard the doctor
order a shot that was supposed to relax me. She was ranting and raving about my blood pressure and how she didn’t like how high it got. I heard Shantika’s cries as two nurses restrained me, a needle then poked my skin as cool liquid entered my blood stream. My cries came to a stop as I felt my eyes get heavy. Smoke I trusted you, how could you leave me like this? I thought before I drifted off to sleep.
* * *
Three days after I learned the horrible truth behinds Smoke’s death, I was released from the hospital. Returning home was bittersweet. I hated being in the hospital, so I was happy to be home; however, being home without Smoke was hard. When I walked in the house, the first thing I did was rush to the closet where he kept his things. Running my hands through the threads of his expensive gear brought tears to my eyes.
His worn clothes were thrown on the back of my study chair. I always fussed at him for removing his clothes and putting them in my chair. Picking up his Nike sweatshirt, I pulled it over my head and climbed in bed. Cuddling his pillow, I inhaled his scent and burst into a fit of tears. How was I going to get over this?
“Karrueche honey, you have to calm down for the sake of my grandson,” Zana said walking in the room.
Prior to leaving the hospital, the nurses performed an ultrasound on the baby. Before the nurse could tell what I was having, Zana called it. She was certain that this was her grandson, even after I told her it could possibly belong to my ex. She told me she was spiritually connected to this baby and that she knew of its existence before I did. Not being the one into all that mumbo jumbo she was talking, I decided to just shut my mouth and let her believe whatever she wanted to.
“Here eat this,” she said sitting a bowl of soup next to me.
She must have done her fair share of crying because I haven’t seen her shed one tear yet. She would sooth me when I cried and assure me that in due time everything was going to be okay. How could she think that was possibly true? I lost my only son and I was a mess for days. I wasn’t even able to see a baby without crying my eyes out.
“Eat!” She said while bringing the spoon of soup to my mouth.
“I can’t,” I cried, thinking of how Smoke use to fed me breakfast in bed after waking me up with some head.
