Uncensored Passion (Men of Passion)

He did not see Harm shoot Kayla an inquisitive, eyebrow-lifted look of inquiry, which she answered with a shrug.
The other men exchanged looks, all pretty sure they knew what was eating J.J. They had all experienced the same feeling of rebellious denial when the testosterone level wouldn’t subside after their appointed night with Kayla.
Each of them, in his own way, had come to terms with the situation and had managed to deal with the difficult adjustment. It had been the same for them all in the beginning. But soon they had seen the necessity of obeying the rules in order to live in harmonious accord. It was a simple conclusion. Her rules, her home, her body—and if they wanted to continue sharing it, they would have to accept that.
As they exchanged looks, all felt sorry for J.J., knowing because of his young age, he was perhaps having a harder time than they had had.
After the table was cleared and the dishes were in the dishwasher, hoping to get a response from J.J., Harm suggested a game of cutthroat ping-pong, declaring he was the world’s best.
Luke took up the challenge, and the two of them headed for the recreation room. J.J. followed morosely along, leaving just Lee and Kayla in the kitchen.
As soon as they’d left, Lee asked Kayla, “Is J.J. pouting because it’s Sunday?”
She laughed. “I believe he is. I think perhaps I discovered the one flaw in my perfect Spanish stud machine. He’s a little bit spoiled when it comes to sex and used to getting his way, I think. He doesn’t like being told no, and he definitely doesn’t care for the Sunday rule.”
Lee chuckled. “I didn’t think he would. I didn’t care for it myself when we first got together, remember? I thought it ought to be a ‘first-come-to-ask, first-fucked’ day.
“I remember. But you didn’t pout about it.”
“He’s nineteen, Kayla.”
“I know.”
Kayla sipped her coffee, suddenly pensive, as she asked, “Do you think he’s too young to be part of us, Lee?”
“I think he’s got a real adjustment to make, and we all have to be patient with him. He’s a great guy and a perfect fit for all of us, Kayla, but he still has a lot of growing up to do. And you can’t blame him for being enthralled with you, woman. You’re definitely a force to be reckoned with, after all. Give him time. Soon he’ll come to see that we all need Saturdays to relax and keep the bonds between us strong, and Sundays as a day of complete abstinence.”
After two ping-pong games, both of which he won, Harm suggested they watch a movie. They rejoined Lee and Kayla and all moved to the media room. The men lounged in the theater chairs, while Kayla sat apart from them all on the couch. She felt J.J.’s eyes boring into her, but refused even to look back at him.
Listening to the men’s comments about the movie, Kayla noted that J.J. wasn’t entering into the conversation. That worried her. Have I made a mistake taking J.J. as my lover? But he’s such a great guy and so phenomenal in bed, I can’t see letting him go.
This time she did look at him and smile. As their eyes held, with a deep, exhaled breath that signaled his reluctant acquiescence to the situation at last, J.J. returned the smile and settled back to watch the movie.
Harm noticed and caught Kayla’s eye with a grin, as if to say, he’s going to be all right.
Lee retrieved two bags of popcorn from the microwave and passed the bowls around as the talk settled on the twists and turns of the thriller movie. Everybody voiced an opinion and argued amicably as to how the intricate plot would conclude.
The day continued in pleasant serenity. After the movie, Kayla, yawning, retired to her bedroom for a nap. Each man followed her retreat from the room with appreciative eyes.
Only Harm was smiling, thinking ahead to his upcoming Monday night with her, only a few hours away.
Lee was savoring the memory of their last Tuesday night together and thinking he intended to repeat their next night together exactly the same way.
Luke was thinking of the new song he had written for her and was impatiently waiting for his Wednesday night coupling time when he could sing to her.
J.J. was gritting his teeth and hating Sunday.
CHAPTER 8
Harm and J.J’s first ménage a trois
Monday was an exceptionally trying day for Kayla. When her last patient was ushered in, she had to take a deep breath to maintain her calm facade.
She always scheduled this patient last because, while she pretended to be enthralled with what the patient was saying, Kayla could mentally escape into what she knew was waiting for her at home. It only took an occasional “really?” or “please go on” to keep the woman satisfied and talking.
The patient was the whining multimillionaire heiress, Lucinda Rainey, whom Kayla managed to tolerate—but just barely, because the narcissistic woman was boringly predictable. She always spent her hour lamenting the fact that she had reached that “line-in-the-sand age,” as she called it.
Divorced for twenty years and obviously having extensively played the sexual field in her younger days, Lucinda had never had trouble attracting men until a few years ago.
So she always said.
And after declaring that, she would tearfully repeat, every time at every session, “Guess I’ve reached that stage in life where men no longer whistle at me. That makes me feel old even though I’ve spent a fortune on liposuction, tummy tucks, collagen injections, and face lifts.”
And then came the inevitable question. “Do you think I look my age, Dr. Saradon?”
Kayla managed to maintain her smiling facade as she answered the way she knew the client expected. “No, not at all. You are still very striking.”
When, in fact, she thought Mrs. Rainey’s collagen-injected and rigidly over-stretched skin lent her the look of an aged and surprised storefront mannequin.
More than once during the session, Kayla had to bite her tongue to keep from saying, “You crossed that line in the sand at least ten years ago. You’re seventy-six. Buy yourself a young stud or, if you don’t already have one, get an artificial vibrating cock. ”
But then again, Kayla suddenly wondered in a flash of stark clarity, will I be like this at seventy-six? Is my resentment of her fueled by my own unspoken inadequacies and fears of aging and becoming just another frustrated nonentity? Will my gorgeous mates no longer want me when I turn her age? Maybe they’ll be long gone by then and I’ll be just like her—alone, horny, and unsatisfied.
Lost in morose thoughts, Kayla got through the hour-long session without realizing it. Mrs. Rainey herself glanced at her diamond-studded watch and declared, “Guess my time is up. It sure helps talking with you, Dr. Saradon.”
“I’m glad you find it so, Mrs. Rainey. Shall I pencil you in for the same time next week?”
“Yes, indeed. Talking with you makes my day.”
As she walked her to the door, Kayla was thinking, sure doesn’t make mine. And it’s happening more and more lately.
On her way home, Kayla let her mind run ahead to her night with Harm. He always could sense when the day had overwhelmed her, and he always knew just how to make the unsettling, almost depressing moods disappear.
She pulled her Lexus into the driveway, activated the remote garage opener, and rolled into the enclosure. As she switched the engine off, Kayla was horrified to find herself almost tearing up with self-pity. What is wrong with me?
For a minute she just sat there, pushing the dreary day to the back of her mind, trying to tamp down her emotions and struggling to keep the stark realities of the outside world from robbing her of the joys waiting inside her home.
No sooner had she stepped inside, than all of her partners were there to greet her, as always, repeating the ritual of taking her shoes and suit coat and giving her welcome-home hugs and kisses. She accepted their comforting with a relieved sigh.
As though he had read her troubled mind, Harm immediately handed her a glass of her favorite wine.
“Bless you, Harm,” she said as she t
ook a long swallow. “Um, just what I needed. You always seem to know.”
“Purely selfish on my part,” he confessed with a grin. “Want you relaxed and ready for our night.”
“I’m always ready for our night,” she stated as she gave him a quick kiss before turning to the others.
Addressing them all, she asked, “So tell me, how was your day?”
One by one they related what had happened during the day.
Lee said he had received a call from his former manager begging him to go back in the ring for at least one highly touted match, assuring him that his devoted followers were still out there, asking where he was and wanting to see him. Then he added that his current manager thought that one last fight would generate interest in the upcoming Food Network show. He had declined.
Luke declared he had tweaked the new song he had written for her and was looking forward to hearing what she thought of it.
J.J. had done nothing much, he proclaimed in a subdued, lackadaisical tone. He’d spent most of his day doing inventory at the large commercial pool servicing company he had recently starting working for, preferring to make some spending money on his own. His tone implied that the day had sucked.
Kayla looked at J.J. and smiled. She could tell he hadn’t completely shaken his disappointment from Sunday. She wondered what she could do to settle his mind. The last thing she wanted was for her wonderful, sexy Latin lover to become dissatisfied enough that he would want to leave.
“Perhaps you need a hobby, J.J.”
He shrugged. “Maybe. But I don’t know what that would be.”
“I could teach him to play the guitar,” Luke suggested as he draped an affectionate arm about J.J.’s shoulder.
“I don’t think I could learn, Luke. I’ve never had an ear for music.”
“Hell, you can be tone deaf and still learn to play the guitar, man. Just learn the chords and get the rhythm down. Smart guy like you could pick it up in no time. We all know you’ve got rhythm, right, Kayla?”
They all laughed.
“We might even wind up writing songs together. Can you sing?”
“Yeah, I can sing. I mean, I’ve sung at karaoke bars before and nobody threw bottles at me.”
“Well, there you go. We might start a duo. Maybe even get that record deal I’ve been trying to snag for years,” Luke teased.
Knowing Luke was trying to cheer him up, Kayla hoped to lighten the mood, as well, with her comment, “I’m so thankful it’s not the drums you play, Luke.”
The light banter continued as Luke led the way into the kitchen where a rib roast was already slow cooking in the oven.
Kayla listened to them all trying to persuade J.J. to learn how to play the guitar. She was pleased at how close they all had become. A happy family indeed, she thought. And then it dawned on her. What J.J. needs is a new experience. I wonder if he might be up for a ménage a trois with me and Harm? Perhaps I’ll put a bug in Harm’s ear and let him feel J.J. out. But maybe Harm wants me all to himself tonight. I’ll leave it up to him.
She never forced her opinions on the partner of the night. It was always his choice how they would proceed sexually. It made their individual nights more pleasurable. Each of her men had his own method of assuring her mind-blowing, ultimate climaxes. All were very sexually inventive, and none had ever left her wanting.
The more she thought about a ménage a trois with Harm and J.J., the more excited Kayla became. It had been a long time since she, Luke, and Lee had enjoyed such a pleasure. She and Harm had never been engaged in a threesome, however, and as she remembered that, she wondered if Harm would even be amenable to the idea.
Sipping her wine as she waited for dinner to be served, Kayla mulled over how to approach Harm with the idea of inviting J.J. to join them later. And again, as though he had read her mind in his receptive way, Harm ventured over and kissed her neck.
“Say gorgeous, what’s brewing in that pretty head of yours? I can hear the clogs clicking into place and the wheels turning.”
Kayla laughed. “You amaze me, Harm. Have you ever thought of giving psychic readings?”
“I’m only psychic where you’re concerned, my love. You want to clue me in on what’s bothering you?”
“Why don’t we take a walk into the den?”
He draped an arm around her shoulders as he whispered in her ear, “Lead the way, sexy.”
Once they were out of earshot of the others, Kayla asked him, “Harm, I’m still a little worried about J.J. Do you think he’s having second thoughts about being part of our household?”
“No. Not at all. I think he’s just got that restless bug that infects most teenagers. And he’s still a little miffed about being shut out on a Sunday. Remember, Kayla, he’s only nineteen.”
“You’re the second one to remind me of that. Makes me think I should have taken that more into consideration before accepting him. I’ve always believed that age truly is nothing more than a number, but then again, J.J. is young enough to be—well—he’s so young.”
Kayla amended what had been on the tip of her tongue. That J.J. was practically young enough to be her son. Just the thought of that made her wince inwardly.
Harm gave her a hug, knowing what she was thinking. “Kayla, you’re definitely ageless. But the fact is that most guys J.J.’s age are out roaming the clubs, dancing, and hooking up whenever the urge hits them because they have a perpetual hard-on. But I don’t think he’s missing any of that kind of action. I think he’s still just trying to find his place in life in general and now in our conjoined life. Actually, J.J. is the most mature nineteen-year-old I’ve ever known.”
“Can you think of any way we might cheer him up?”
Harm tilted her face up with a finger beneath her chin. “I have a feeling you have something in mind. What is it?”
“I was wondering if you’d be up for inviting him to join us tonight. Since you’ve never personally participated in a ménage a trois, I don’t know your feelings about it, and of course, I don’t know J.J.’s, either.”
“Since I’ve come to know J.J. better lately, I think he might be interested. Like I said, I think he’s perpetually horny. As for me, Kayla, I’m on the fence about that, to tell you the truth. Actually I have to admit that I’ve never done that before. I’m certainly not into the man-on-man thing. I don’t think J.J. is, either. Of course we would both love to love on you but is there enough of you to go around?” he teased, leaning to kiss her.
When their lips parted, she said lightheartedly, “You’d be surprised how far I can stretch myself.”
Harm chuckled at her naughty, double entendre. “Nothing about you, my fair lady, would surprise me. But as long as it’s understood we both love on you and not each other, I don’t mind giving it a try. You want me to broach the subject to J.J., don’t you?”
She nodded.
“Okay. I will after we eat. You hungry?”
“Yes. Let’s go rejoin the others.”
They entered the kitchen as Lee was taking the roast out of the oven.
“I believe it’s ready. Luke, how’s the salad coming along?”
“Ready.”
As the food was carried to the dining room table, Kayla looped her arm into J.J.’s and he leaned in to give her a kiss.
She asked him, “So, you’ve had a slow, boring day, huh? We have to think of something to put a smile back on that handsome face, J.J.”
“I’ve just been in a blue funk,” he admitted. “Sorry.”
“Any particular reason?”
“Two reasons, if I’m going to be honest. One is that Sunday abstinence thing is still rankling me, but I’ll get over it. Two, I got a letter from my folks. It was kind of depressing. They demanded I go back to San Antonio. I called them and said I was never going back. I thought I would impress them with the fact that I have two jobs, one just to make money and one that I love and I am happy, that I definitely did not want to become a doctor. My dad hung up on
me.”
Kayla squeezed his arm. “Sorry to hear that, J.J. I know it’s an empty platitude, but things do have a way of working out if you give them time.”
They all sat down and as they started to eat, Kayla met Harm’s eyes. He smiled and nodded. As soon as the meal was over, while Lee and Luke cleared the table, Harm asked J.J. if they could have a moment to talk.
“Sure thing, Harm. What’s on your mind?” J.J. asked as they wandered away from the others.
“You know tonight is my night with Kayla, right?”
“Yeah. You lucky dog.”
“Well, maybe you’ll be a lucky dog, too. She and I were talking a while ago, and Kayla wanted me to ask you how you felt about sharing the night with us?”
“Sharing the night? Ah—you mean being a part of a threesome?”
Harm nodded. “A ménage a trois, with both of us loving on Kayla, of course, not on each other. I don’t go for the man-on-man thing and I don’t think you do, either. Understood?”
“You're right about that. I don’t. But I don’t quite understand how it would work with both of us trying to make love to her.”
Harm chuckled. “There are ways, believe me, and Kayla is experienced in all of them. I have no doubt she’ll know how to please both of us while we please her. Since I believe you are, shall we say, better endowed than I am, no doubt you will plumb the front while I will take the back door. Understand?”
“Damn! At the same time? You wouldn’t mind that? And wouldn’t that hurt her?”
“I wouldn’t mind. Back-door fucking isn’t exactly my favorite, but once in a while, I enjoy it, especially if I know she’s being pleased, and I’m sure she will be. And as far as not hurting her, well, we won’t go crazy, just take it nice and slow. She’ll let us know if it’s too much. I haven’t done a threesome before, either, but I know Luke and Lee have, and they tell me it’s quite an experience. You do realize we share an extraordinary lady, don’t you, J.J.?”
J.J. nodded, smiling. “Don’t I ever!”
“Are you up for it?”
