He cupped his palms around her shoulders, turning her to face him. “Like it?” he asked, hope and love shining in the depths of his eyes.

  She pressed her lips together and nodded, afraid to speak. God, pregnancy had made her so emotional! Or maybe it was her incredible love for Ethan that had her bursting into tears of joy over the silliest things.

  Raising her gaze to meet his, her voice choked with emotion, she whispered, “I love you so much.”

  His eyes grew serious as his hands slid up to cup her face. Bending his head, he placed a lingering kiss on her mouth.

  “And please to remember, Grasshopper, I love you.” Then, with a calculating look in his eye, he murmured tenderly, “Are you sure we don’t have time?”
