Level tens usually use the universal akashic records where a total Macro perspective is available. However, a soul's ability to contact these universal akashic records is limited by his level of awareness.

  C.I. on Dreams

For the student of Macro philosophy the quickest and easiest access to the Macro levels of awareness is through dreams. No matter how limited micro man's awareness is while he is awake, during sleep the subconscious or soul mind takes over. It uses dreams to provide solutions to problems to expand your experience, to relax and refresh the body by resolving mental stress, to digest today, arid to prepare you for tomorrow.

When man learns to remember and interpret his dreams from a Macro view, he has access to a level of wisdom that provides the solutions to all problems.

If a man refuses to accept responsibility for his own life situation, his dreams cannot help him‑and neither can anything else except more of his self‑inflicted misery.

  C. I. on Expanding Human Awareness

There are three popularly employed emental techniques for expanding human awareness:

  1. The Macro pause (the mini‑meditation).

  2. The Macro immersion.

  3. The Macro contact.

  (1) The sub‑Macro pause was historically the first breakthrough to conscious control of Macro awareness. Once the macro self or universal mind had been rediscovered by the ancients, they began to practice developing the necessary desire and belief which would allow the practice of mind‑shifting. By mind‑shifting we mean‑ the conscious shifting of mind focus from the micro level of physical body and mind (limited by time and space) to the Macro level of macrocosmic oneness, unlimited by time and space.

When the Macro society was developed, everyone began the regular practice of mind‑shifting called the Macro pause. The secret of success with the Macro pause has always been practice, beginning as early in life as possible. However, this does not mean that older people cannot learn to use the Macro pause if they will only develop the following state of mind:

  a. Acceptance of a Macro philosophy of life.

  b. Necessary desire and belief.

  c. Joyous acceptance of the absolute perfection of self/others and the situation at hand.

Once the first two requirements have been achieved, the third one can be employed to achieve the Macro pause whenever one's micro perspective is creating, or failing to solve, a problem.

It is this third requirement that frees the mind from its micro view and permits expansion to the broader Macro perspective. When this is achieved, it's impossible to see anything as terrible.

The best way for a beginner to deal with fear, anger, and frustration, is by using the Macro pause.

  (2) After the Macro pause was developed and used by all Macro society members, Macro immersion was discovered. Only from the Macro perspective can the frequency of soul vibrations be recognized. While simultaneous twin soul incarnations have always been very rare, simultaneous incarnations of soul mates, who possess very similar (but not identical) soul vibrations are far more frequent. In the Macro society, which has always attracted souls with Macro potential, the number of soul mates that any soul shared an incarnation with reached eleven in every ten thousand. This, along with the help of C.I.'s audible soul note reproduction, removed the final barriers to Macro immersion.

The essentials for Macro immersion are:

  a. Acceptance of the Macro philosophy of life.

  b. Necessary desire and belief.

  c. Joyous acceptance of the absolute perfection of self/others and the situation at hand (Let go, and let's grow!).

  d. Similarity of soul notes (vibrations).

  e. Either physical or telepathic perception of your soul notes and that of your partner.

Macro immersion is the union of soul mates with high soul note similarity. This permits union of the physical body and mind as well as the astral body and soul mind, thus freeing sexuality from all micro restrictions.

An enduring sense of fulfillment and well‑being are important fruits of Macro immersion.

Macro immersion allowed the Macro society to completely free itself from the micro defensive uses of sex. Once Macro immersion had been attained, no other type of sexual experience was satisfying.

  (3) Macro contact was the final step in the expansion of human awareness. It permitted Macro man to attain a more enduring consciousness of the macrocosmic oneness of all. While it is possible for the initiate to attain Macro contact without first experiencing the Macro pause or Macro immersion, this can only occur with the telepathic help of a soul mate who has already experienced Macro contact. Due to problems with desire and belief this kind of help is only effective with the initial Macro contact. However, the usual essentials for Macro contact are:

  a. Acceptance of Macro philosophy.

  b. Necessary desire and belief.

  c. Joyous acceptance of the absolute perfection of self/others and the situation at hand (Let go, and let's grow!).

  d. Joyous acceptance of all positive and negative aspects‑ of the universe‑self/others/God/macrocosm.

  e. Macro contact stimuli (visual and/or audible) may be necessary for the beginner.

Until 2100 only a few members of the Macro society had ever attained anything more than the most fleeting Macro contact lasting no more than a few seconds. In the past 50 years, however, the true Macro contact, which typically lasts an hour or more, was developed by a majority of the Macro society members. This accounts for the swift increase in evolution since 2100 and the beginnings of level ten.

The major problem with the Macro contact is that after one or two successive contacts one's desire is often greatly diminished due to the peaceful state of complete joyous acceptance created by Macro contact. This problem only exists at the lower Macro levels, though.

At the end of the metric year (M ‑ year) of 10 metric months (M ‑months), which is equivalent to 360 days of 1976 time, there is a vacation of five days every three years and six days every four years.

The Macro year begins with the vernal equinox of spring and the old names of months are replaced by first month (M‑1), second month (M‑2), third month (M‑3 ) , etc.

(For convenience of 1976 readers all mention of time in Jon Lake's journal are in 1976 equivalents.)
