Dire Wolves Blind Spot

Pavel grunted, turning her in his arms. Her sensitive nipples rubbed against his chest. It was an erotic combination of smooth skin, hard muscles, and jagged scars. He kissed her neck and she swayed. His touch was intoxicating. She inhaled. His scent excited her.

“On the bed, wolf.” He tossed her over the footboard. She bounced and he pounced, crushing her into the soft mattress. She liked having his full weight upon her. His solid form reassured her she was safe. She bent her legs, cradling his hips between her thighs, his hard cock pressed against her pussy lips.

He covered her face with rapid, shallow kisses. No skin was ignored, from her eyelids to the tip of her nose. When his lips reached the sensitive spot behind her ears, she laughed. “What are you doing?”

“Hunting freckles.” Pavel’s voice was low and deep. He licked along the vein in her neck. She threaded her fingers through his silver gray hair. “Not one freckle will get away.”

“I have freckles all over.” She wiggled, thinking of his hot mouth over the freckles on her breasts. There were freckles between her thighs. Would he kiss those too? His cock rubbed against her pussy, exciting her even more.

He bit the freckle above her right breast. “I plan to kiss you all over.” He sucked her nipple into his mouth, swirling her body into a fervor with his tongue. She closed her eyes, lifting her hips toward him, her pussy sliding along his cock. “Concentrate, wolf,” he demanded.

She looked down at his face. All of that focus he used for fighting was now on pleasuring her body. His hands, with their different textures, roamed over her skin. His mouth pressed against her pale stomach in a kiss so hard, it verged on pain. Maggy arched, reveling in his branding.

She belonged to him. He reared back, examining the mark he had made, possession sharpening his features. He was her mate. He tenderly soothed the mark with the tip of his tongue, his touch as light as a feather. Maggy’s heart overfilled. The action spoke of love. “I love you too,” she whispered.

Pavel grunted, his good eye flicking up her body. Their gaze met, confirmation of his feelings shining from his eye. He loved her. He might never say it, but he did. Maggy blinked back emotion.

His head ducked, and he kissed her stomach again. He petted the red hair covering her mound, each stroke lowering and lowering until his fingertips skimmed over her pussy lips. Would he kiss her there? There weren’t any freckles but her pussy ached for his hot mouth.

He brushed her clit and she bucked. He cupped her raised ass. His fingers dug into her ass cheeks, not allowing her to lower her hips. She couldn’t escape, even if she wanted to. He was too strong.

She watched wide-eyed as he slowly brought his mouth to her pussy, his tongue extending, teasing her with anticipation. She jerked when he finally made contact. He gave her clit one quick, hard flick, before drawing back.

“Pavel,” she moaned. She needed his lips on her.

A mischievous grin stretched across his face. He knew what he was doing to her, her big, bad wolf. “More,” Maggy demanded, pushing upward.

“Patience, mate.” He squeezed her ass cheek hard with his left hand, making her cry out in protest. “The best fighters look for an opening. They divide.” He parted her pussy lips, exposing all of her to him, and licked each fold with a toe-curling thoroughness. “And conquer.” His mouth covered her pussy. His tongue pushed inside her. “You are so wet.” He slurped up her cream.

“You make me wet,” she insisted, trying to find a handhold in his short hair. She needed him. She was so close. “You make me crazy.”

“How?” He licked her pussy, his bristly chin brushing against the sensitive flesh. “By doing this?” He sealed his lips around her pussy and sucked. It pushed her over the edge. Her body splintered, taking her mind with it. She bucked. She twisted. He held her, sucking relentlessly. A second wave of rapture followed the first.

“Pavel.” Her brain was mush, her limbs disconnected from her spine. “I’m…” She didn’t know what she was.

“Not yet, mate.” He moved up her body, his hard cock nudging her still humming pussy lips. “Once more with me inside you.” He entered her with a long, hard thrust. Tremors rocked her torso. He didn’t allow her recovery time, driving into her again and again. She panted, grabbing onto his shoulders for support as he rode her, each thrust drawing more response from her pleasure-saturated body. “Come for me, Maggy,” he coaxed, his balls slapping against her ass.

“I can’t.” But she could. Even as she voiced her denial, passion overtook her. “Pavel!” she cried out. She couldn’t handle these feelings. She dug into his shoulders with her fingernails, the world around her spinning into a swirl of color.

“Maggy.” He thrust into her so hard the sturdy bed rocked. Heat filled her. He groaned, a vibration traveling along his body. When the sound reached his shoulder, his lips covered hers in a demanding kiss tasting of pussy and desire. That was too much for Maggy. Her senses overloaded and she lost consciousness, falling into the blackness.

  Chapter Five

Pavel stood behind Maggy on the pebbled beach and stared out at the water. Although he couldn’t see the mainland, the fog forming a wall around the island, it was there. The ferryman would return around ten to take them back.

His mate would be coming with him. Pavel winced as he remembered what had happened last night. The thought of leaving Maggy had brought out the beast, and he’d lost control. She’d survived, barely. He ran his fingers down Maggy’s body once more, needing the reassurance of touch.

“I’m okay.” She leaned back against him. “You don’t have to worry.”

He grunted, her reading of his moods constantly surprising him. He was worried. When she had collapsed underneath him, he’d panicked, thinking he’d been too rough and harmed her. He would never harm her. She was his everything.

Waves splashed against the shore. Gulls called above them. He squeezed his left hand into a fist, relishing the pull of scarred flesh across his knuckles. It was a reminder of his inadequacy. He couldn’t protect her properly. She needed the pack.

“No,” she answered his question before he asked it. “If you go, I go.”

“You proved yourself worthy, Maggy.” He’d been so proud of her. He’d never put her in such danger again, but it reassured him that she could defend herself. “There are wolves in the pack who noticed.” When she had entered the dining room last night, male mouths had dropped open. Smelling their lust, he’d wanted to slam his fist into every unblemished face.

“I don’t care. I didn’t notice them. The only wolf I noticed was you.” She turned in his arms, her soft breasts pressed against his chest. Pavel rested his hands on her tight little ass. Fuck, he wanted her. “You are mine, Pavel. If I have to fight to keep you, I will.”

“You’d fight me?” The thought should have made him laugh. Instead it aroused him even more. Visions of him and her rolling in a tight embrace filled his mind. His cock pressed against the zipper of his jeans.

“I would.” Her freckled nose twitched. He knew she smelled his arousal. As he smelled hers, the scent of her pussy flavoring the air. “In human form, in wolf form, here or elsewhere.” She caressed the scars on his face. “You won’t get away from me.”

He couldn’t remember why he wanted to. He lowered his head to kiss her.

“You want me to come back later, pups?” the ferryman’s laughing voice broke into the emotion-filled silence. The boat rested with its bow out of the water. The man’s pants were completely dry. How long had the old man been standing there?

“Long enough.” The ferryman read his mind. Pavel had heard of some wolves with that power. He had never met one before. It unnerved him.

“You unnerve me also.” The man chuckled. “You are one scary son of a --”

“Stop teasing him, Charon.” Lyons spoke up from behind them. “Ignore him, Pavel, Maggy.” The wolf laughed. “We all try to.”

“Lyons.” Pavel bowed his head, giving the alpha the respect he deserv
ed. He didn’t begrudge him the position. It had been time consuming, demanding much personal sacrifice. Pavel was happy not to hold it.

“Thank you for last night’s hospitality.” The sadness rolling off Maggy pained him. He couldn’t do this to her. She deserved to belong to a pack. “If there is anything we can do to repay it, let us know.” His decision made, he held Lyons’ gaze and waited for the offer.

The alpha’s mouth quirked upward in a satisfied smile. “You could train our young wolf. I would consider that payment enough.”

Pavel let no emotion mark his face. He had learned long ago to be cautious. “It would take years.”

“Pavel?” Maggy had no such inhibitions. She looked up at him with wonder as though he’d given her the world. It made him feel ten feet tall.

“Is this what you want, mate?” The decision felt right. She felt right, pressed up against him. He stroked her proudly straight backbone.

“Da,” she answered him in his language. Joy radiated from her. Her hand slipped into his. “If this is what you want, too.”

It was. He wanted it so much, he couldn’t comprehend obtaining it. He would have a pack, a mate, the possibility of his own pups. He gritted his teeth, willing the emotion away. “We will need our own cabin, space we can call ours.” His voice was gruff.

“Consider it done. Welcome to the Dire Wolves.” Lyons held out his hand.
