Revenge has Come (An FBI/Romance Thriller Book 19)

She was going to combust.
If they didn’t get to bed, she was going to climb all over him wherever they fell.
Her mind was made up.
As he carried her up the stairs, she made him shake with her mouth on his ear. As they stumbled into the room, Ethan dropped her on the bed.
“Strip,” she ordered.
Or was that begged?
She sounded more like some sex starved maniac than her normal self. Being with two men, she’d learned control.
Now?
She had none.
Ethan didn’t hesitate. He kicked off his dress shoes. Pulled off his belt.
“Save that for later,” she teased.
He laughed. “Yes, ma’am.”
When he dropped his pants, she sighed. “I love a Native going commando. A tattooed Native—no less. This is like my present.”
Ethan wanted her to always feel that way about him. If he had to cover every inch of his body with ink, he would. This was worth it all.
When he was completely naked, he stood there.
“Come to momma,” she teased.
“Kinky. I missed how dirty you can be.”
As did she when he dove onto the bed, pinning her beneath him. Ethan immediately began kissing down her body, tearing bra and panties out of the way.
“Is there a tattoo on your ass?” she whispered, as he went lower down her body.
“No, but there can be if you want,” he replied, focusing on breasts, nipples, and then…clit. “It’s a blank canvas. You can put whatever you’d like on it,” he offered. “I want you to.”
Before she could say anything else, he flicked his tongue over the tight little bud.
They both moaned.
They’d both missed this.
“God!” she shouted, when he worked it like he hadn’t touched her in years. Her hips bucked as Ethan devoured his wife.
She came and came again—by his mouth alone. When she’d refocused, he was smiling at her.
It stole her heart. “You’re the sexiest man I’ve ever seen. Don’t tell your brother.”
He laughed. “Why do I think you say that to him too?”
“Shhhh, ruining it. Just go with it.”
“That’s a lie I can live with,” he teased.
He dove back on top of her, and Elizabeth rolled so she could straddle his hips. This was going to be perfect.
They were coming back together.
Again.
When she took him in her hand and stroked him, he was forged in steel. Ethan was three days’ past rock hard.
He was like concrete.
“I’m not going to last long,” he whimpered as she stroked him. “I haven’t gotten off since the last time we were together.”
She stopped. “Really?”
“I’m not into servicing my own needs when I have a sexy wife who can do that for me,” he teased.
Tears filled her eyes.
Ethan sat up. “I didn’t touch her. I haven’t touched anyone. You’re mine, Lyzee. I’ll take a lie detector test if you want. I wouldn’t hurt you like that.”
She stared into his eyes.
And she believed him.
Ethan wiped the tears on her cheek. “Let me show you how much I love you,” he said, placing her beneath him. With a nudge, he found her wet, ready, and so very warm.
It was going to be Heaven.
Slowly, Ethan slid into her body, and he never wanted that moment to end.
Never.
He was home.
“Please,” she whispered. “Fill me. Fill that hole you left behind when you told me to leave. I want all of you. I’ve always wanted all of you.”
Her words hit him right in the heart.
He’d damaged something so valuable, and he needed to heal that hole in her.
Ethan began moving.
He slid in and out, trying to give her as much pleasure as possible.
It was amazing.
“Shit!” Ethan muttered, trying to hold on a little longer. It had been so long since he’d felt this, and he was slipping. The need was clawing at him, trying to tear through his body to escape, and he wasn’t sure he could keep it caged for long.
Elizabeth could feel him throbbing deep within her body.
He was about to lose it.
She wanted to go with him when he tumbled over the edge.
“Later, I want to be sandwiched between you and Callen as we do this all over again,” she stated.
Then she whispered all the sexy things he’d been missing. They involved both men taking her, and her ass.
Jesus!
He was only human.
It shoved him off the edge.
Ethan began the tumble. The entire time that his body emptied into hers, he could hear her whispering his name over and over again.
It was music to his ears. He never thought he’d have this moment returned to him.
This was a miracle.
After the fall, there was silence.
Ethan rested his face against her breast as he breathed in the scent of his woman.
There was so much peace.
“I missed that.”
She began laughing. “Yeah, I missed it too.”
“Well, at least you had Callen. I was alone. I have so much pent up sexual frustration, I plan on taking you a few more times.”
“I only had sex once with Callen. We were in Delta Falls, and we were beginning to meet in the middle. I finally felt safe. I was finally ready to feel again.”
“Only once?” he asked, lifting his head. “Why? Did he forget where he put his dick? That doesn’t sound like my brother. It’s usually in his hand and aimed at you.”
She laughed. “He went commando a lot. I’m pretty sure he knew where it was,” she admitted.
“So why?”
“It wasn’t the same without you. Then I had hope. We had sex that one time, and I wanted to wait for you.”
He kissed her.
“Thank you for that.”
“Thank you for your journal.”
He stopped moving.
“Are you okay with what was in it?” he asked, holding his breath. His hopes, fears, and dreams were in the pages. He’d been absolutely honest.
It was the real him.
“It didn’t upset you?”
She ran her fingers through his silky hair.
“Being put in a foster home damaged you.”
He wasn’t surprised that she’d pulled that tiny tidbit out of the whole three weeks of writing.
“Yes.”
Ethan wouldn’t lie.
“It was miserable. I was nothing more than that kid no one wanted. When my grandfather lost me for those eighteen months, it was the worst time in my life. Correction—this estrangement was worse. I’d relive that to never relive this.”
She listened to him.
“It made me afraid. I was nothing. I was stripped down. I was one more dirty Indian no one wanted. I felt betrayed by my grandfather, and I resented him and Callen.”
She loved this man. “Why?”
“They let me be taken away. It’s why I was so angry when I came back at eighteen. It’s why I broke the law, ran roughshod over the rez, and hated Callen after Kaya Cheek.”
She got it.
“I know now that he couldn’t save me.”
“This was your path,” she offered. “Without that, maybe there wouldn’t be this.”
He looked up at her. “That’s why I’d relive it over and over to have this. I’d kill for little moments like this.”
“You’ve never talked about it before.”
He was aware.
He’d kept those eighteen months locked away because they were his secret shame.
“I was a paycheck to those people. It’s one of the reasons I became who I am today. I wanted to fight the system and give something back to the world.”
And he had.
Elizabeth was proud of him.
> “Do you like talking about it?” she asked.
“No. It was a dark time. I hated the world. It lit the fuse in me, and it made me the volatile man I became. That was the start to my downward spiral. I always thought it was the abduction, but Doctor Gaines peeled back the layers. It was my youth. I became a bastard because of it.”
“You’re not a bastard,” she stated. “You’re a good man who had a rough life.”
He had to be accountable.
“When I would have sex when I was younger, it was all about just making them pay. It was never enjoyable. I had to prove I was better than I was.”
“And now?”
He lifted his head. “I don’t have anything to prove anymore. For you, I’d give it all up.”
“Can we talk about the flight attendant?”
He didn’t move. “Yes.”
“You were with her a long time, weren’t you? I hunted her down, thanks to Mrs. Feinstein. She gave me her name, and she actually came back looking for you.”
He sighed.
“Yeah, we were each other’s booty calls for years. Horny? She’d call me. If I needed an outlet, I’d call her. I’m sorry I allowed you to think it was a short-term relationship.”
“It was long like Chris and myself, wasn’t it?”
“The abuse went on for years. I let her break my heart and she let me fuck her. It was a vicious cycle for two angry people. She was verbally abusive, and I was emotionally abusive.”
She listened.
“I wish I could erase her.”
“I don’t,” she admitted.
He was surprised. “Why?”
“She was part of you. The foster home, the flight attendant, and even this fight—they helped mold and make you. You’re an amazing man, and I’m proud to be your wife.”
Tears filled his eyes.
“Thank you for never judging me, even when I did it to you and Chris. I don’t deserve you, Elizabeth, but I’m going to work damn hard to keep you.”
She didn’t doubt that for a second.
“I love you.”
He touched her cheek with his warm palm. “I was made to love you, and I will until I die,” he offered, sliding up her body to kiss her.
“Knock knock,” Callen said, cracking the door. “Can anyone come in and see the naked people, or do I need a freaking invite to have sex with my spouses?”
Ethan broke the kiss and laughed.
He didn’t even care his bare ass was in the air.
“Yeah, come on in,” he said.
Callen came in, closed the door, and headed for the bed. He bounced on it, and then checked out Ethan’s body. “Someone broke his ‘no more tats’ rule,” he said, touching the one of his name.
Ethan went up on his arms and kissed his brother on the mouth in greeting. “Honey, I’m home.”
Callen slapped him on the ass, and he got off Elizabeth to make room for him.
“Hey, sexy, come here often?” Callen asked.
“All the time,” she said, accepting a kiss from Callen. “That was nice.”
He wiggled his eyebrows.
“Where is everyone?” Ethan asked.
“Dad is downstairs trying to wrangle your dogs, Elizabeth. He said, and I quote, ‘Great. They found us’,” he teased.
Elizabeth snorted. “Not my fault. You guys got them for me, and you know they pick their one person. I can’t help it if they have incredible taste.”
Ethan mimicked his brother’s position and curled into her body. He began playing with Elizabeth’s rings—hanging around her neck.
“Well, laugh it up. Because you weren’t at the house, they ate through your couch.”
“What?”
“And the wall.”
“Shut up! They did not.”
“And Callen’s vintage typewriter. Kanji still hasn’t shit out the space bar.”
Elizabeth snorted.
This…this was what she’d missed while he was gone, and now that they were back together again—let the mayhem ensue. This was the beauty of their lives.
“That’s not funny,” Callen said. “That was Hemmingway’s typewriter. I paid a fortune for it. How did they get into my office?”
“I told you. They ate through the wall. We have ‘German Shredders’. They are evil, I tell you.”
She snorted.
Callen sputtered. “Why the hell weren’t they kenneled?” he asked. “I want my space bar back!”
Ethan was amused.
“I couldn’t babysit. I was at work,” he offered. “Sorry, but we’re lucky we own that house. If we didn’t, we wouldn’t get our deposit back. It’s bad. I’ve seen houses on the rez with less holes in their walls.”
Callen let it go.
He was just glad they were back.
In fact…
“Those rings are damn sparkly,” he offered, trying to give his wife a hint.
“Yeah, they are,” she stated.
Ethan waited, but to no avail. Elizabeth didn’t make a move to put them back on her finger.
It damaged him.
Were they a couple?
Was this just sex?
All those fears and insecurities threatened to come back.
Clearly, Elizabeth wasn’t going to put them on. His face must have said it too.
“What?” she asked.
He could have pretended. Instead, he heard Doctor Gaines in his head.
“You don’t want them back?” he asked.
His voice was neutral.
Elizabeth sat up. “Actually, I had something else in mind for them,” she offered, slipping Callen’s from her finger.
“I don’t like this game,” Callen stated. He wasn’t sure where she was going with this, but he really hated it.
She snorted. “Relax. Hear me out.”
Then she slipped Callen’s and Ethan’s off their fingers as she held them all in her palm.
Elizabeth placed her other hand over them, and she began saying something in the Native language.
Both men listened.
“What was that?” Ethan asked. He was the worst at their native tongue. He simply didn’t practice.
“I found it in one of Grandad’s old books. It was a Shaman’s blessing. I figured we should do this right. We need to start anew, and that seemed to fit.
Then she held Callen’s ring in her finger. It was huge.
“I love you endlessly, boundlessly, and because you are my heart.”
He slid his finger into the ring.
She faced Ethan. “I love you completely, fully, and because you are my soul. Without both of you, I’m not whole.”
His heart skipped as he held out his finger. It slid home and he could relax.
She handed her rings to her husbands and waited.
Callen went first. “I loved you the first time I saw you, and even though you were fucking my brother, I wanted in on that action.”
She started laughing. “That’s my Callen James. Blunt and to the point.”
And it was true.
He was her laughter.
When the world felt too heavy, his humor lifted the oppressive weight.
He slid his ring onto her finger.
It was Ethan’s turn.
“I will love you until I become dust, and there is nothing more. You fill me because you were made for me.”
He slid them both onto her finger, and there was that sense of finally coming home.
Elizabeth locked lips with Callen, teasing him with teeth and tongue until he went hard beneath his clothes.
“Hussy,” he muttered when she finally pulled away.
Then she focused on Ethan.
“Welcome home,” she said, meeting his mouth with hers. They fell into the kiss, and it felt like it always had.
Perfect.
Warm.
Them.
“My girl,” he whispered. “I love you both.”
They all relaxed in the cuddled-up huddle—until there was
a crash downstairs.
They stopped moving.
The Natives were getting restless.
“We better get down there,” Callen stated. “The kids don’t know you’re here,” Callen stated. “We weren’t sure…”
He stopped there.
Elizabeth placed her hand over Ethan’s cheek. “He’s back and this time, for good.”
His eyes filled with tears.
“Right, Ethan?” she asked.
He nodded.
“Then let’s go see our kids.”
Elizabeth headed toward their bathroom, her behind swaying back and forth.
Both men watched.
Then they looked at each other.
“I’ll give you my kidney if you let me go,” Ethan stated. “Or you can pick the organ of your choice.”
Callen was amused. While he wanted to jump his wife, he’d be patient.
For love.
For Ethan.
“Okay, take that kidney out right now,” he teased, handing him the sharp pocketknife in his jeans.
“Dick.”
“Yes, I have one, and it’s hard.”
Ethan waited, a look of desperation etched into his face.
Callen laughed at the look.
It said it all.
“Go. I’ll take my turn later with her. Just don’t get that cast wet. At this rate, it’s not coming off for a while.”
Ethan looked concerned.
Did he hear his brother correctly?
“Why?” he asked. “It should be healed by now. What am I missing?”
Callen laughed, thinking about the shot she’d taken to stop Tori’s brother in Delta falls.
She was using it as a weapon of mass destruction. It was typical Elizabeth behavior.
“Don’t stress it. Go jump our girl, and then ask her about ghosts.”
“What?”
Callen headed toward the door laughing.
“I don’t get what’s so funny,” he offered, and then heard the water turn on.
Did it really matter?
She was naked.
He was hard all over again.
He’d think about it later.
After he took the girl.
Again.

Dakota was in his office working when he got the call. Why it came to him, he wasn’t quite sure. It should have been routed through the FBI, and then to him, but he wouldn’t argue. If the universe was giving him a gift, he’d take it.
