And like this book, which certainly isn’t devoid of flaws, I must admit that as I recall our times together I can’t help but think that I could have done better.
Fortunately life does not call us to be perfect. However, I believe it beckons us to be happy, and for me happiness means finding yourself living a life of personal meaning and purpose.
So I hope you take the time to discover the unique person that you were destined to be. It is not easy ... just worth it.

About the Author
Michael E. Villanueva has been a school counselor for almost 12-years, and one dissertation paper away from completing his PhD in Clinical Psychology.
His favorite authors include; Douglas Adams, Richard Bach, Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, James Hillman, and M. Scott Peck.
As a counselor he has worked mainly with children and adolescents, as well as a number of young adults. A believer in Hillman’s Acorn Theory, Mike’s counseling approach attempts to encourage and nurture the creativity of his clients with the aim of helping them develop better self-esteem as well as find greater meaning in their lives. Currently, he is collaborating on two stories which he hopes will someday get to be shared with the world.
Mike enjoys taking long walks which relaxes him and at the same time stimulates his own creative process. He also likes spending time with his friends, especially if it involves sailing aboard his buddy David’s yacht the Rapparee XXX or performing on stage with the theatre company Theater Down South http://theaterdownsouth.com/
