Never Say Die

  The next person to wake up is Sarah. She walks into the kitchen and immediately spots Chelsea cooking breakfast while naked. Sarah politely asks Chelsea, “Can you please put on some clothing? You know I don’t like it when you walk around naked with a man in the house, especially when they are living here.” Chelsea finishes making herself breakfast and puts it on a plate before putting on some clothes. After she is done getting dressed, she walks back into the kitchen and continues to make breakfast for the rest of the household. It isn’t long before everyone else in the household wakes up and eats breakfast. After they are done eating breakfast, they leave the house to go clothes shopping with their new friend and roommate, Raider.

  Raider is happy to know he is accepted into the World Army and its society. He never thought the day would come and he would be spending quality time with the human race, especially their women. Raider was not very close to people back home, so he never got to experience or have any kind of social life outside of his family. He hated most people in his family, especially his father. However, he does miss spending time with his mother and sisters. He loved them more than anybody in the family or anyone back home. The World Army and human society is the new place he calls home. Sarah and her roommates are all now his new sisters. He will make sure they are all safe and will not be killed by his father’s army.

  Chapter 6

  Returning the Rogue Son

  Raider is now ready to fight off his father and defend the World Army’s military base. This will prove to everybody he is on their side and against his father. He is very nervous, because he does not know what is going to happen on the battlefield. Raider is unaware his father has a spy inside of these walls. If he did know about the spy, he would be able to warn everybody and point them out. The spy would be eliminated immediately. Very few people know about Synx’s spy back home. Not even his wives or children know about the spy. Only a very few amount of his leaders know about the spy. The spy will play a huge role during this battle and war.

  Raider is with Sarah at the snipers’ tower with other fellow snipers. Raider is obviously not a sniper, because he is equipped with dual-wielding swords. The reason he is up here is because Sarah is in charge of him and needs him up here to scope out his father’s army. One of the perks of having a demon on their side is they have excellent eyesight. They can see up to 5 miles with just their naked eyes. This is the main reason why Raider is up here. Once he has spotted the enemy, he will be heading down to the main entrance way and will be guarding it. When he is on the ground floor, he will be welcomed by a familiar face. He will be with Roman and the General during this fight.

  As Raider is scoping up the area for any sign of his father’s army, Sarah and her snipers are searching the areas when he is not looking at them by using their sniper scopes. They spend hours searching for the enemy, but they have not arrived just yet. Some question if Raider’s information was false and only to distract them. However, nobody is willing to leave their stations just in case an attack really does happen. They were never hear the end of it from the General or anyone higher up in the military.

  Fortunately for Raider, he was right about an attack occurring. His father’s army is coming from every direction. His eyes light up, because he sees his father and all of his wives approaching the military base. Raider warns Sarah, “Fire as much as you can at my father and his wives. They are the biggest threat in this battle.” Raider gives everyone in the snipers’ tower the directions of where he wants them to fire. As soon as all of the snipers get their targets in sight, they fire their first shots at the enemy. Once everyone has heard the snipers shooting, they all brace themselves for the attack.

  Raider climbs down the snipers’ tower and heads down to the ground floor where he will be battling his father’s army. Raider is stationed on the front lines of the entranceway. He is standing next to Roman and is being closely watched by the General. Everyone has their weapons out and at the ready, but Raider will pull out his dual wielding long swords once the gates have been broken-down and his father’s army is inside of here.

  The spy is searching the military base for a way to allow Synx’s army to break into with ease, but is having a very hard time finding this spot. He must be careful not to get caught by any members of the military. If he is caught and captured by the World Army, he will be killed instantly and Synx will be outraged. The spy is first searching the walls for an open gateway, but can’t seem to find one. Every gateway is heavily guarded by the members of the World Army. Now, he is going to check underground for an entranceway.

  The spy heads underground and notices a small group of guards blocking a doorway. He sees this as the perfect opportunity to allow Synx’s army into the military base. Because the entranceway is underground, it will be very difficult for the World Army to know they are in here and will not know who allowed them to get in here. The spy is going to kill all of the guards guarding this area. Unfortunately, there is a total of 15 heavily armed guards guarding this area. It will be very difficult for the spy to kill all of them, but he will have to do it.

  The spy quietly and carefully approaches one of the men. The spy grabs the young man and tosses him into the wall behind him. Unfortunately for the spy, this creates a loud banging noise and alarms the security guards. One of the guards tries to pull the alarm, but the spy notices he is in trouble. The spy kills the young man he threw into the wall by ripping out his heart with his razor-sharp claws. After he quickly does this, he teleports in front of the security guard ready to hit the alarm. The spy asks the security guard, “What do you think you are doing?” A security guard quickly fires at the spy and everyone else follows him. The guards rapidly fire at the spy, but are having a hard time getting a clear shot on him. The spy is quickly teleporting away from the bullets and appears in front of two security guards. The spy does not hesitate to kill them and immediately teleport away. The spy immediately slits the security guards’ throats before teleporting away from them.

  Moments later, the spy is successful at killing all of the security guards without the alarms going off. Before he opens up the door, he scopes out the area to see if there are any eyewitnesses or if anyone is approaching him. Fortunately for him, there is nobody insight of the situation. The spy contacts Synx and tells him where he needs to enter the military base. Synx says to the spy, “Excellent work. I will give the orders to one of my wives where she needs to go. Keep the area secure until they arrive. We are not nearly close to approaching the walls.” Synx gets shot in the chest after he disconnects from his spy and falls to the floor from the impact. He gets up as fast as he can and continues marching towards the walls. However, he is having a hard time getting anywhere. He is being constantly shot in the chest by Sarah. Fortunately for him, none of his injuries are severe and he can continue to fight in this battle. Sarah will not stop shooting him until he is dead.

  Meanwhile, Raider is on the ground floor waiting for his father’s army to approach the walls. He is curious to know what is happening on the other side of these walls and behind all of this gunfire. Raider steps out of position and approaches the walls. The General glares at Raider and asks him, “What are you doing soldier? Get back into position or I will have you killed.” Raider replies, “I’m just going on top of the walls to see what is going on, I can help you.” The General replies, “No, get back into position!” Raider obeys the General’s orders and gets back into his position. He will no longer move from his position until it is his time to fight in this war. His time will be coming at any moment.

  Moments later, Synx’s army has successfully made it to the walls from every direction. Sarah shoots up a flare to let everyone know the enemy is outside the walls and should be prepared for battle. Synx orders his spy to open up their entranceway. The spy opens up the door and allows a part of the army to enter the military base. Unfortunately for them, the people on the walls notice Synx’s army has broken into the west side of the military base and alarms everyone. Shortl
y after this alarm goes off, the main gateway gets broken into as well. Raider will now be able to prove everyone he is fighting against his father and not with his father. Raider is the first one to attack his father’s army and get multiple kills. Roman is very close by him and is getting many kills himself. Raider is getting most of his kills without the sword, but quickly pulls it out after getting deep into the battle.

  So far, the war is falling in favor of the World Army. Raider and Sarah are the leaders of this battle when it comes to the number of kills. Once all of the remaining members of Synx’s army are inside of the military base, Sarah climbs down from the snipers’ tower and heads over to the main battle zone. Sarah will be joining Raider and Roman on the battlefield. So far, Raider and Roman are working great as a team. Roman is covered in wounds, but none of them seem to be fatal or slowing him down. Raider would heal him, but it is very difficult when they are constantly in combat. Normally, Sarah would put her sniper away, but she keeps it out and keeps a good distance away from any of the enemies. This is not at all an easy task, because she is constantly being approached by multiple targets. Fortunately, she is able to kill all of the enemies approaching her as well as her friends. She does not plan on losing Roman or Raider during this battle.

  Sarah is doing an excellent job keeping her friends and herself safe during this battle, but it all takes a turn for the worst. A demon approaches Sarah with caution and cannot be seen, because he turned himself invisible. Once the demon has gotten close enough to Sarah, he tackles her and begins to bite her chest and neck. As she is being tackled, her sniper goes off and accidentally shoots Roman in the back. The bullet shoots through his back and chest directly in the heart. Roman falls down to the floor and is pronounced dead. Raider does not stop fighting off his enemies, but quickly rushes over to Sarah’s rescue. If he does not get there quickly, Sarah will die.

  Raider rushes over to rescue Sarah as she is being viciously attacked by a demon. As Raider is approaching Sarah, the demon steps off of her and charges after Raider at high speed. The demon tackles Raider and slams him to the ground as hard as it can. The demon tries to bite Raider’s neck but he is not successful. However, the demon does some serious damage to him. The demon swings its razor-sharp’s claws all over the place and scratches the living shit out of Raider. Sarah quickly grabs her sniper off of the ground and aims it towards the demon’s head. Once she has a clear shot, she pulls the trigger three times. Each bullet connects and kills the demon. Raider immediately tosses the demon’s body with authority and rushes over to rescue Sarah.

  Raider pulls Sarah out of harm’s way. He rips open a big chunk of the armor, so he can get a clear shot of her flesh. He opens up his mouth as wide as he can and bites into her shoulder. He heals her as fast as he can and ends up saving her life. All of her wounds are completely healed and she can now continue to fight in this battle. Sadly, it doesn’t seem like this battle is going to end very soon.

  As Raider and Sarah head back into the battlefield, they are stopped by one of Synx’s wives. It is not Raider’s mother. She appears in front of Raider and slaps him in the face with one of her claws. Raider falls down to the floor due to the impact of the attack. Sarah tries to stab her in the back with her sword, but she sees it coming. The wife backhands Sarah and she falls down to the ground as well. As Sarah gets backhanded, Raider attacks the wife. He kicks her in the ass with his heel. She stumbles a little bit, but quickly recovers her balance. He only did this so he can get up without having any issues or worries. Raider is able to stand back on his feet and charge after her. Raider tackles the wife and mounts on top of her. He places both of his swords up to her throat. The wife will not go down without a fight. She opens up her wings and knocks Raider off of her. Raider rolls onto the ground and tries to stand up. However, the wife has other plans. She grabs Raider by his shoulders and flies up into the air.

  As Raider is being ascended into the air by one of his father’s wives, Sarah quickly stands back up and aims at her. Luckily, Sarah does not need to pull the trigger. Raider is able to swing himself and cause her to drop him. As he comes crashing down, he quickly grabs one of his swords and throws it at her. He successfully stabs her in the back with one of his swords and she comes crashing down as well. The General sees Raider and one of Synx’s wives come crashing down. He smiles, because he knows what is going to happen next. Raider and the wife slam into the ground, but Raider crashes down first. As the wife approaches Raider, he pulls out his other sword and points the blade directly at her. The wife crashes down into Raider’s blade and completely penetrates through her back and chest. However, she is not dead just yet. Raider tosses her and keeps a firm grip of his sword handle. The blade of the sword slides out of her chest and back and remains in his hands. He quickly stands back up and marches towards her. She quickly stands back up as well. However, she pulls out Raider’s other sword and wields it herself. She begins to march towards Raider.

  Raider and the wife charge after each other, each wielding one of Raider’s swords. They both strike at the same time, but they both block each other’s attack. Sarah does not stand back and watch them both fight each other. She aims her sniper at the wife, but doesn’t end up shooting at her. Others are trying to interfere with their battle, so Sarah is going to eliminate them. Members of Synx’s army try to interfere with Raider’s battle, but they all get quickly eliminated by Sarah’s sniper rifle. Fortunately, Sarah does not end up shooting at the wife, because Raider is able to eliminate her. Raider and the wife rapidly attack each other with swords, but they block every attack. However, Raider is able to get an attack in and bring this fight to an end. He is able to stab her in the belly, just under the rib cage. Out of desperation, she tries to kill Raider by biting him in the neck. She successfully bites him in the neck, but does not live much longer after it. Raider screams out of agonizing pain and pulls the sword out of her belly. He kicks her where he stabbed her. She takes a couple steps back and ends up following down to one knee. She attempts to stand back up, but Raider quickly charges after her and stabs her in the face with the sword. He pulls the sword upward and cuts her face wide open. She falls to the ground dead.

  Raider marches over to Sarah and picks her up off the ground. They march back onto the main battlefield. Sarah is glad and surprised he was able to kill one of his father’s wives. If this doesn’t show everyone he is on their side, she doesn’t know what will. Raider and Sarah have each other’s back throughout the rest of the war. The war does not come to an end until hours later. Synx’s army is quickly getting outnumbered and killed by the World Army. He has no choice but to retreat back to his fortress. Synx screams as loud as he can, “Retreat!!!” Him and his army all retreat back to the fortress. Unfortunately for Synx and his army, a good chunk of them are killed as they are retreating. This is a major victory for the World Army.

  Now that Synx’s army has retreated and evacuated the area, the World Army must repair the damage that has been done. They must count all of the wounded and get them treated. They also must count all of the dead and post all of their names on the “Killed in Action” board. Fortunately, there was no major damage done to the base itself. There are only minor repairs that need to be done. It only should take them two days to repair the damage. If it wasn’t for Raider’s warning, the fatalities and damage done to the base would be much greater. The General walks up to Raider and says, “Thank you for all of your hard work in this battle and warning us about this event. Without you, the war may have ended here and humanity would be gone forever. Tomorrow night you will be rewarded with a Purple Heart and will be a high leader of the World Army.” The General hugs Raider before walking away. The General has a lot of work to do. Raider and Sarah are both free to go home. They are both curious to know if their home is still standing and if everyone is safe.

  Raider and Sarah arrive home and quickly check to see if everyone is okay. Fortunately, there was no damage done to their home and everyone was safe. No one i
nside of the household even left the house once they heard the alarms going off. It would be pretty stupid if any of them left the house during a battle. Raider is happy to know everyone inside of the house is doing okay, especially Scarlet. They all hug each other as Sarah and Raider both enter the house safely. Raider is especially excited to get a hug from Scarlet and her twin sister, Chelsea. He blushes after receiving a hug from both of them.

  Because of the aftermath of this battle, no civilians are allowed to leave their homes until they are told they can. So, everyone in Sarah’s household must find something to do inside of the house. This is not the first time this has happened, so they all know what to do. Scarlet asks Raider, “If you want, you are free to hang out with me and my sister. Would you want like to hang out with us?” Scarlet is developing a crush on Raider, but only Chelsea and herself know about this. As Sarah and Raider were both on the battlefield, Scarlet shared her secret about her developing a crush on Raider with her sister. Raider replies and blushes, “Okay.” Raider follows the twins to their room. Sarah is very suspicious, but knows she cannot do anything about it. Scarlet and Chelsea are both grown women and can do whatever they want to do.
