Never Say Die

  Meanwhile, Synx and Rogue’s army are almost at the battlefield. They will be the first ones to arrive and get combat ready. Rogue asks Synx, “When do you think these filthy humans will arrive? They better hurry up and get here soon, I am not a very patient man.” Synx replies, “I don’t know when they will arrive, but I hope it is soon as well. But for now, let’s just focus on our plans and get ready for their arrival.” Rogue replies, “Let my army take the front lines, because we perform best upfront. Do we have a deal?” Synx will allow Rogue’s army upfront, because he knows the skill set of Rogue’s army. They do perform best when they are upfront, but also Synx’s army works best when they are behind an army like Rogue’s. They truly do believe that they will win this battle with ease, but it will be far from easy.

  As the World Army is making their way through the forest, Sarah sees something out in the distance, but doesn’t tell anybody. She knows exactly what it is. It is Raider’s spirit. Raider smiles at Sarah and says, “You have come a long way since the first time I met you. Your family and I will continue watching over you. This is not the end for you. You will take down Synx and Rogue’s army with the help of your family that is still alive and fighting alongside you. We all wish you the best of luck. Please, kill my father and his wives for me.” Raider disappears, but never leaves her side. Sarah smiles and replies, “Thank you, my family from heaven above. I cannot wait to be reunited with all of you, but I know my time is not now. I will keep on living and fighting for the likes of you. I will end this war for all of you.” Sarah doesn’t say another word and keeps on marching forward alongside her fellow comrades. She cannot wait to arrive at the final battlefield. They are just moments away from the battlefield.

  Synx and Rogue’s army have arrived at the battlefield. They are getting ready for the arrival of the World Army. They go over the plan of attack one more time with each other. They want to make sure everyone is in understanding. Fortunately, everyone does understand the plan and cannot wait for this battle to begin. Cora will be fighting alongside her father and his wives. Gronder will be protecting Synx at all cost on the battlefield. He is not allowed to leave his creator’s side on the battlefield. However, Gronder has no interest in protecting anyone else but his creator and Synx’s family members. Cora asks Synx, “Does Gronder really need to protect me, because I am perfectly capable of defending myself on the battlefield?” Synx replies, “If you do not want his protection, you don’t need to have it. Go ahead and do whatever you like on the battlefield. If you die, it is all on you.” Cora replies, “Yes, sir.” Cora wants to prove to her father she has what it takes to be a strong leader and maybe take the throne someday. Cora will be staying in sight of her father when they are fighting on the battlefield, because she still wants to have some sort of protection.

  As Synx and Gronder are preparing themselves for combat, the World Army finally arrives on the battlefield. Synx walks towards the middle of the battlefield to talk to the General. He taps Gronder on his left shoulder and says, “Follow me, we have more important things to do right now.” Gronder follows Synx. The General spots Synx and Gronder entering the center of the battlefield. He says to Sarah, “Come with me, it appears they want to talk with us.” Sarah and the General meet Synx and Gronder in the center of the battlefield to have a little chat. Sarah and Gronder are looking at each other face to face. The General and Synx are looking at each other face to face. Sarah cannot help but think something is going to go terribly wrong. She looks around for any suspicious activities as they look at their enemies face to face.

  Synx and Gronder look like they are ready for a bloody and horrifying battle. The General has no fear shown in his eyes, because he is not afraid of them. Sarah looks like she is not afraid, but she is stressed out from the feeling like something terrible is going to happen. Synx says to the General, “I hope you are ready to be enslaved by my people. I expect a great fight from all of you.” As Synx is talking, Sarah notices something very suspicious about one of Rogue’s followers. Everyone else is getting ready for combat and they are patiently waiting for the battle to begin. However, this one looks like it is going to attack at any given second. Sarah doesn’t say a word, because she doesn’t want the enemy to know she is aware of what is about to happen.

  As the General and Sarah are talking to their enemies, the World Army is getting ready for combat. The battlefield is taking place on a landscape that was abandoned many years ago. It is a broken-down village with many collapsed buildings. There are very few places where anyone can hide, so the snipers have nowhere really to hide. They will be setting up on the sides as far back as possible from their enemies. For the most part, both armies are pretty much set up the same way. Almost everyone is lined up in the middle with their snipers on the sides. However, Rogue does not have any snipers in his army. So, all of his army is in the middle. Synx’s army does have some snipers, but not as much as the World Army. The World Army may have the advantage when it comes to snipers, but they are outnumbered by the number of enemies that will be attacking them.

  Both sides are now done getting ready, but the conversation in the center of the battlefield is still going on. Synx asks the General, “So, where is that lovely wife of yours?” He chuckles, because they all know she is dead. The General doesn’t say a word, but does reach into his pocket to grab something. Synx does not realize the General has his hand inside of one of his pocket and is holding something. The General quickly pulls it out and hides it behind his back. Leah sees what her father is holding behind his back and quickly recognizes it. It is her mother’s special dagger. Her eyes light up from the sight of it, because she thought it was gone forever. The dagger was said to be lost forever after she died, because it disappeared moments after her death. The General found it on his office table after coming back from a meeting. He didn’t tell anybody about it, because she wanted her husband to keep it a secret. Inside of the dagger’s sheathe was a note. The note reads, “Take care of our daughters and do not tell anybody about you having my dagger. This weapon has abilities unlike any other. You see, my dagger was made long before any other of our weapons were created. This special weapon was created in ancient times. It was created by a young priest whom had special abilities. He had the ability to see the undead and demons. He was afraid a demon would kill him in his sleep, so he created the dagger to protect him. Fortunately, he was never attacked by a demon, but was attacked by evil people. He killed his attackers and was vanished from his temple and his village. This priest is my ancestor. Engraved on the dagger is where I came up with the idea of our battle cry.” The dagger has “NEVER SAY DIE” engraved on the blade. The note continues to say, “I love you and the family we created. Do not lose this dagger and pass it on to the daughter you feel like they need it the most. Please, end this war as quickly as possible. I love you.” The note doesn’t read anything else. The General put the dagger safely inside of his secret chamber.

  Now, the General plans on killing Synx with the dagger before the battle even starts. Synx grabs the General by the throat and looks directly into his eyes. The General does not look intimidated by Synx at all. Sarah aims her sniper directly at Synx’s head. Gronder rests his sword on Sarah right shoulder with the intentions of cutting off her head. Sarah says with aggression, “You better get out of his face and let him go before I blow off your fuckin’ head.” Synx chuckles and replies, “You do that and Gronder will cut off your head, sweetheart. So, you better lower down your gun or you both will die.” The General orders Sarah, “Put down your gun, now. This war is about to start. You will get your chance.” Sarah lowers her gun but has it ready. Synx releases the General, but Gronder still has his sword leaning on Sarah’s shoulder. Sarah aggressively says to Synx, “Gronder better put down his weapon before I put my gun back up to your face. Now, order him to but down his weapon.” Synx looks at Gronder and orders him to put down his weapon. Gronder puts down his sword, but keeps it ready. Sarah and Gronder are staring at each other
with high intensity. They cannot wait to fight each other on the battlefield.

  Synx looks back at the General and can tell something is not right. So, he looks to see what the General is hiding behind his back by using a special ability. Synx sees the dagger behind the General’s back with this special ability. Synx says to the General, “I haven’t seen this weapon since one of my men killed your wife.” Synx pulls out his hand as if he is asking for something, and he is asking for something. Synx warns the General, “Hand me the dagger before I kill your daughter.” A soldier of Synx’s army appears behind Leah with the blade of a glaive to her throat. Leah is terrified, but knows that she is going to be just fine. The soldier has many guns pointing at him. So, even if she is killed, the soldier will die shortly after she is killed. Leah shouts, “Don’t do it, daddy. I am going to be okay. My mother and your wife wouldn’t want you to handover that dagger.” Leah cries, because she knows she is about to die. However, she is not afraid to die, because she will be reunited with her mother and can protect her loved ones that are still living. Leah continues to shout, “Please, do not do it. They are going to kill me regardless of what you do. So, whatever you do, do not handover that dagger.” The soldier punches Leah on the side of her head. Leah’s head moves to the side from the impact of the punch, but the soldier grabs her by the hair and puts her back to where she was.

  Synx grins and laughs very loudly. He laughed so hard he has to wipe away a tear from his left eye. Synx says to the General, “Your daughter is one smart lady, because that is exactly what is going to happen. So, hand me that dagger before I kill…” The General stabs Synx in the belly with the dagger and quickly pulls it out. Synx collapses on the battlefield floor and is pronounced dead. The soldier standing behind Leah slits her throat and disappears. Leah is now pronounced dead as well. Now, this war has begun.

  The General immediately runs towards Leah’s dead body after he killed Synx and she was killed. The dagger disappears from the General. Again, nobody knows where it disappeared. Sarah shoots Gronder in the chest as he swings his sword at Sarah’s neck. He may have missed her neck, but he did get her chest. The cut from his blade starts at her right shoulder and slides down to the left side of her pelvis. She is bleeding a lot, but not enough to kill her. Gronder falls down to one knee after he is shot in the chest, but he is not out of the battle just yet. He swings his shield in front of him and gets back on his feet. Sarah runs towards her snipers and gets ready for their next move. Both sides are now charging at each other.

  Sarah regroups with her snipers on the left side of their battlefield. It was not easy getting over here, because they were under a lot of heavy fire. Demons were constantly trying to kill her, but luckily her snipers took them out. As Sarah joins her snipers, she looks at the General. The General is holding his daughter one last time. The General steps off of the battlefield with his daughter in his hands to say his final goodbye. Once they are in a safe location, he gently places her on the ground and gets down on his knees. He hugs her and begins to cry. He says, “You have made your father very proud. Take care and say hello to your mother for me. I will be joining you shortly, I hope. Rest in peace, my angels. Never say die.” The General walks away from his daughter and heads back onto the battlefield. He wipes away the tears and gets ready for combat.

  Sarah stops looking at the General and begins to focus more on what is happening on the battlefield. She open fires at her enemies. The snipers don’t truly aim, but do make sure they do not hit their allies. They do not aim, because there is just too many enemies in front of them. So far, nobody in Sarah’s group has died. However, more than half of the snipers on the other side have died a horrible death. Most of them died by being shredded to death or decapitated by a melee weapon. This is by far the bloodiest battle and toughest either side have ever fought in. Since Synx is dead, Rogue and Synx’s wives are now in charge of the whole entire army. Sarah cannot wait to get her hands on the wives, because they have caused nothing but pain and suffering towards her. They have killed almost all of her loved ones. She really hopes she will be the one to kill them. But for right now, her main target is Gronder.

  Sarah takes a look at Gronder and aims at him. She does not fire, because there are way too many allies surrounding him. Apparently, Sarah is not the only one that wants to kill him. Gronder has the most kills on this battlefield. He has eliminated over 200 World Army soldiers. He is covered from head to toe in human blood and flesh. He especially has a lot of bloodstains on his teeth with huge chunks of human flesh stuck in between his gums. There are soldiers that are standing around him that are getting some shots in, but none of them are enough to kill him. However, one soldier is able to break open the left side of his chest piece. But unfortunately, he is killed shortly after it happened. Sarah saw this happen and begins to zoom in on his open chest. It is going to be a very difficult shot, but she will be able to get the job done. She takes a deep breath and holds it in. Sarah pulls the trigger and hopes for the best. Luckily, she hits her mark and Gronder falls to the ground. Her allies surround Gronder and immediately go in for the kill. Gronder does not survive this attack. Her allies cheer, “Never say die!!!” Synx’s greatest creation and strongest super soldier is now eliminated from his army and this planet.

  Since Synx’s greatest creation and strongest super soldier is removed from this planet, Sarah can now focus on eliminating Synx’s wives. But before she can do that, she needs to find them. So far, she has not seen any of the wives. She has seen Cora and tried to kill her, but Cora was able to dodge the attacks and get away. Sarah has not seen Cora since she tried to kill her. Cora tends to stay close to the wives, so they must be close by. Nearly an hour later, Sarah spots Cora attacking her snipers. Cora ends up slaughtering a lot of Sarah’s snipers. Sarah puts her sniper away and pulls out her melee weapon. She marches towards Cora and attempts to kill her.

  Cora spots Sarah marching towards her and begins to make her way towards Sarah. She notices Sarah has put her sniper off to the side and has her melee weapon out. Cora turns herself invisible as she is marching towards Sarah. Sarah decides to stop and pull out her sniper, again. She turns on her infrared scope on the sniper to see where Cora is located. Sarah is able to pinpoint her location and fires three shots. Cora gets hit by all three shots and becomes visible, again. Cora slams into the ground, but quickly gets back up. Sarah fires three more shots at Cora, but all three of them miss. Cora teleports in front of Sarah and stabs her in the right shoulder. Sarah drops her gun, but quickly pulls out her melee weapon. Sarah swings her two-handed sword at Cora’s chest and makes contact with it. Cora’s chest splits wide open and begins to pour out a lot of blood, but it doesn’t faze her. Cora charges and tackles Sarah onto the ground. Cora bites Sarah on the wounded right shoulder of Sarah. Sarah screams as Cora takes a huge chunk of flesh from her shoulder. Cora tries to get another piece out of Sarah’s shoulder, but she is shot in the face by another sniper. Sarah crawls to her gun and is able to get a hold of it. The sniper rapidly fires at Cora and is able to hit every part of her body. However, Cora manages to stand back up and kill them. Cora stabs them in the chest and rips out their heart. She tosses the heart behind her without any care in the world. Now, she is getting ready to finish off Sarah.

  Cora marches towards Sarah and comes very close to her. However, Sarah fires three shots at Cora’s head and hits all three of them. Cora’s head explodes by the third shot and hits the ground. Cora has been eliminated from the battlefield and this planet. Now, Sarah can focus on killing the remaining three wives of Synx. Still, Sarah has not found any of the wives. But, she does not plan on giving up so easily. She looks around the battlefield and asks her fellow allies if they have seen any of the wives. Nobody has seen any of the wives on the battlefield. They are all questioning if they are even on this battlefield. Maybe, they are hiding somewhere else and commanding the military somewhere outside of the battlefield? Sarah decides to step off of the battlefield and search for
the wives.

  The General is drenched in blood on the battlefield and is leading his army very strongly. So far, the World Army is winning this war, but just barely. The General has the most kills on the battlefield for the World Army. He has eliminated over 150 soldiers of Rogue and Synx’s army. He has mostly eliminated Synx’s soldiers. Almost all of Rogue’s army is still standing on the battlefield. Rogue’s army appears to be the toughest on the battlefield. Rogue has almost eliminated as much as the General. Rogue has eliminated over 140 World Army soldiers. Rogue is also drenched in human blood, but he has more flesh stuck in between his teeth than anyone on this battlefield. Rogue tends to kill his enemies by ripping off huge chunks of flesh from their necks and face.

  The General and Rogue come face to face on the battlefield. They plan on eliminating each other, because they are both so powerful and important people on the battlefield. Rogue is the first one to attack, but the General is able to counter attack him. Rogue attempts to claw the General’s neck and take a huge chunk out of it, but he is not able to bite him. However, he does manage to cut open his neck. Fortunately, Rogue’s attack was not enough to kill the General, but did do some serious damage. The General is bleeding from his neck, but not enough to kill him. The General was able to stab Rogue in the chest and quickly pull out his melee weapon. Rogue’s chest piece was already falling apart, but it officially collapses on him from the General’s counter attack. Rogue tears off his chest armor and tosses it onto the ground. He is only wearing armor to protect his forearms and legs. His helmet was also destroyed on the battlefield. Now, the General goes in for the kill, but Rogue is able to block his attack. The General and Rogue continue to fight each other on the battlefield and try to eliminate each other.
