Loving Sweetness (Sweet #2) Page 3

by Jude Ouvrard

“Yes, Sweetness, all yours. Now, don’t you feel a bit overdressed?”

I nodded, kissing his chest, holding him closed to me. His hands slid under my tank top and caressed my skin up to my bra. “Undress me, baby.”

“Say it again.” He pushed his groin into me, teasing me.

“I want you to undress me now, Calvin.” I thought he would pull my top and my bra over my head, but instead, he cupped my face into his strong hands and kissed me. His lips came crashing onto mine, his tongue pushed its way inside my mouth, and his desire for me grew with every second.

At last, both of us panting from making out, I removed my clothes while he watched me. I didn’t do it as slowly as he did, but soon we both stood completely naked in his office. I could see his heart beating and I could tell he was just as eager as I was.

“Take me, Cal, make me yours.”

He groaned while he pulled me to him. “You’re mine, Sweetness, now and always. We’ve got to be quick now. We’re short staffed.” He kissed me some more and swept his fingers against my nipples, making them hard. “Sit on my desk and hold onto the edge.”

He parted my legs, moved my hips forward and pushed inside of me in one swift movement. “You’re ready for me, Sweetness.” He pulled out of me, long enough for me to miss him and slammed back deeper than before. “It’s going to be quick now, Sweetness.”

I tried not to be loud, but I lost control of myself and moaned Calvin’s name on top of my lungs. I was completely aroused from watching him undress. I watched him take me, his eyes dark with lust, his abs hard as steel as he pushed in and out of me.

I was in love with that man, so in love.

“Come on, Iris, give me what I want. Look at me, I want to see you.” His fingers reached for my clit, circling around it and applying a soft pressure. His movements quicker, I felt my apex coming, tightening. My head fell back as my back arched. “Look at me, Sweetness,” he demanded. “I’m yours, keep that in mind.”

He thrust faster and sent me directly to one of the best orgasms of my life. My back fell flat on his desk. Spasms of pure bliss ran through my body as Calvin’s final thrust hit me hard. He groaned through heavy breathing before covering my body with his.

We are both startled by impatient knocks on the door.

“Calvin, we need you up front.” Justin sounded impatient.

“Shit,” he whispered. “Give me two minutes. I’m coming.” He said and I started laughing.

“You are not coming, you just came,” I kidded.

“I wish I could stay like this with you some more, but I’m afraid I have to get back to the real world.”

“Go, baby.” I cupped his cheek and ran my thumb on his soft lips.

He got dressed in no time and left me alone, naked and completely exhausted. I tried moving my legs and arms, but all my strength disappeared. Calvin had a habit of taking every single bit of my energy.

After minutes spent sprawled on his desk, I finally gathered enough will power to move and get my clothes from the floor. The music echoed into the office, I had to find the girls. Our night wasn’t over yet.

Here I was, sitting in my office, alone, thinking about the weekend I’d just had and how wonderful it had been. I spent Saturday in bed with Calvin. We cuddled, made love and relaxed. The view from his bedroom always added an extra touch of romance. To me, anyway. We ordered double cheese pizza and watched movies on Netflix. After my first week with my new job, a day like this made everything better.

“I love being with you.” I told him during our lazy morning this weekend.

“Just say when, babe.” I wished we could have this every day.

“What about now?” I mumbled breaking the silence of my office.

I had a few things to go through, but I had lost all my motivation. Calvin informed me that he wouldn’t meet me at the gym today during our lunch break, because Candice scheduled a meeting at that precise time. How irritating was that? I really wanted to spend this time with him. I knew it made me sound needy and selfish, but I had already gotten used to our naughty showers.

My coffee had turned cold and my cream cheese bagel did nothing for me. I sighed and pushed back in my chair. Today wouldn’t be a productive day. Monday sucked.

Small knocks on my door alerted me. “Come in.”

“Iris, my beautiful girlfriend.” Calvin appeared at the door, smiling, looking breathtaking. Such a sight, one I wouldn’t get tired of.

I chuckled. “What do you want, Calvin?” I asked, but I already knew. His lustful eyes and seductive smile were a good indication.

  “You know what I want.”

“You remember my rule. Not here, Calvin.”

He groaned and sprinted toward me and pulled me into his arms. I couldn’t control the smile on my face or the laughter coming out of my mouth.

“You can at least kiss me.”

“That I can,” his lips left a wet mark on my forehead, “but don’t try to tease me, I’m not giving in.”

He nibbled my lobe. “Why so prudish, Sweetness?” He murmured into my ear, and the fact that he called me Sweetness let me know he still had hope. His tongue left a wet trail from my ear to my chin. Shivers covered my skin and my insides constricted.

I tried controlling my breathing; I couldn’t let him see my weakness. “Calvin, we can’t.”

“We’re just kissing, Iris.” He said circling his hips into mine.

  “Jesus, Calvin.”

His mouth crashed into mine. I could taste every ounce of desire emanating from him. “You’re driving me crazy,” he hissed.

  “Baby, please.”

“Excuse me, Iris. Is Calvin with you?” Candice’s voice came out of the phone like an intercom. It startled me. She was invading our privacy, my privacy.

  “I’m here, Candice. What’s up?”

“It’s time, Cal.” I couldn’t see her, but I knew she had a huge smile plastered on her face. I hated her. She enjoyed taking him from me. She could have waited for us to be done, but no, she wanted to play a game with me. A cruel one.

“I’ll see you later, and I don’t think I’ll be as patient.” He spoke, our lips touching, the warmth of his breath on my skin, making me even weaker.

“Be careful with your…” I pointed to his groin.

“Don’t worry. I know how much you care about it.” He winked and fixed his jacket before leaving my office.

I watched my phone and wanted it disconnected. Her interruption pissed me off. I wasn’t going to give in with Calvin, but I loved teasing him and we were having a good time. She ruined it and she had started making me doubt my decision to work here.

Frustrated, I took my access card and went down to the gym. I didn’t want to be here anymore. As I walked quickly past Calvin’s office, I heard them talk with a client on speaker phone. At least they really were working. I pressed on the elevator button with all my power. I kept pushing on it until the door opened and got in.

Justin stood at the reception desk. He waved at me as I walked in and I did too. Normally, I stopped for a small chitchat but not today. I had to evacuate the anger in me. Danielle didn’t seem to be around, and maybe it was a good thing, because my anger could turn into a mess of tears in no time.

I changed my work clothes to gym attire and hit the treadmill. I never ran for a long time, but today, I needed it. My knees and calves hurt after less than four minutes, and my heart was pounding. Danielle showed up next to me, watching me like a hawk.

“Maybe you should slow down, Iris, you’re only going to hurt yourself.”

“You don’t understand, Danielle. It’s only been a week today and she’s already turning me into a jealous bitch. I hate her.”

  “Candice,” she said in disgust.

“Did you hate me when I showed up in Calvin’s life? I’m sorry it’s a weird question, but I’m only trying to understand my emotions. I know they’ve been together before. It’s obvious and she’s doing a good job of makin
g me feel like a worthless manager,” I said, out of breath.

“Wow, Iris. Calm down. Stop that damn machine now.” When I didn’t, she pressed the emergency button and it stopped abruptly. “First, I never hated you. From the first time Calvin talked about you, I knew there was something about you that had him completely in awe. He was attracted to you right from the start. Of course, I wondered who you were and why he picked you, but I never hated you. Secondly, you’ve been a manager for a week. Ignore her and give yourself a chance. By having you insecure and angry, she wins. Be stronger, smarter. Calvin will always take your side, trust me.”

I stayed silent, ashamed of myself. My anger had diminished, but I still hated Candice. Just as Danielle had said, being stronger than her would make her doubtful.

  “Are you busy after work?”

She scrutinised me, uncertain of my plan. “No, but I guess now I am. What do you have on your mind?”

“I need a new wardrobe.” Everything I had for work looked too old for me. Candice dressed borderline trashy, but she had great curves and very nice expensive heels.

“Are you thinking about a makeover?”

“I’m thinking about becoming more of a smart, smoking hot business woman. One that Calvin can’t resist, and one that Candice can’t measure up to.” I wanted to be a better me, build my self-confidence and be proud of who I was.

“Now, we’re talking.” I smiled again. “Get your ass to the free weights, I’ll work out with you.”

“Thank you, Danielle.” I hugged her tightly. Her advice had made me realise I shouldn’t let Candice affect me, because this was exactly what she wanted. I was strong and madly in love with Calvin. Nothing could stop me now.

Once I was changed back into my work clothes, Calvin met me at the reception of the gym. He was supposed to be in a two-hour long meeting. I guess it ended sooner. “Do you want to grab something to eat?” he asked

“Absolutely.” His arms wrapped around my waist as we walked out of the building into the heat of the city. Candice stood outside, holding a cigarette. We passed her without saying anything and just in time, I turned to look at her and gave her a quick smile as Calvin’s arms squeezed me closer to his side. My man claimed me. “What do you feel like eating?”

“Anything… You.” He teased me before giving me a small peck on the top of my head.

“We could grab a wrap at the sandwich place, or a club.”

  “Yeah, that’s perfect.”

“By the way, I’m not leaving work with you tonight, I’m going shopping with Danielle. I need new clothes.”

“Oh, really? I’ll transfer you some money and I’ll call my sale…”

I cut him off. “No, no, Calvin. I’m not asking for money. I’m okay. I just wanted to let you know I won’t be home until after dinner.”

“I’ll transfer you money if I want to, Iris. That’s what I’m here for. Looking out for you. I should have thought about it before.”

I rolled my eyes. As if he didn’t do enough for me already. Every morning, my favorite breakfast waited for me in the refrigerator. He kept warming up my towels while I took my showers and took care of my coffee at work.

“You really don’t have to do this. It makes me feel like I’m not doing enough for you.”

“I have you; it’s all I need.” I realized we had stopped walking and were facing each other in the middle of the busy sidewalk, blocking everyone.

“There are days where I think you’re too good to be true.” Someone had to pinch me, but the blue of his eyes sparkled with the rays of sun and his beautiful seductive smile told me he was real.

“I’m right here and real, Iris. Get used to it.”

“Hey, gold digger, check out this skirt and the matching jacket. It’s perfect, and that color suits you.” Krys had joined Danielle and me. She wouldn’t miss an opportunity to go shopping and spend some money.

I don’t mean to laugh, because I’m no gold digger, but after checking out my bank account, I noticed an extra ten thousand sitting in there. I didn’t know where he bought his clothes, but with ten thousand dollars I could fill three walk-in closets. “Stop with the gold digging shit, Krys.” I urged her, looking at the clothes she’d found. “You might be a pain in the butt sometimes, but you do have that gift when it comes to clothes, and the same goes for you too, Danielle.” I searched through the multiple skirts and jackets to find my size and added it to the pile of things to try on.

“Don’t forget we have to get you shoes too. High heels, Louboutin maybe?” Danielle suggested.

“Oh, hell no, I’ll leave that to Candice. I can’t walk in these.” I would probably trip and break a bone if not two. Louboutin shoes were stunning though.

“We’ll see.” Krys and Danielle exchange a smile. I knew Krys would force me into them, like the stubborn friend that she was.

When I started trying on clothes, I realized I was in deep trouble. Not because I couldn’t find anything, but because everything fit. Most of the skirts or pants were form-fitting, kissing each of my curves perfectly and the tops, well, they made me look even slimmer than I was used to. Maybe I had gotten thinner, had I? With the gym sessions I had been going to almost five times a week, it could be a possibility. My tummy seemed flatter and the love handles had almost disappeared.

“Oh my God, where have I been?” I said out loud, checking myself out from every possible angle.

“Who are you talking to, Iris? Me?” The irony in Krys’s voice made me laugh.

“I’ve lost weight. I don’t understand how I never noticed before now.”

Danielle laughed. “You’re too focused on Calvin. You did shed some weight, I can tell.”

I looked at every possible angle in the mirror and damn, that was enough to boost my self-esteem to a whole other level. I came out of the dressing room with at least fifteen different matching pieces of clothing, and I planned on getting each one of them.

“Where are you going with all of this?” Krys asked, dumbfounded.

“I need to pay for them in order to bring them home.” I felt bad, ashamed, but maybe I really needed to do this after all. If it wasn’t for Calvin, I would have never been able to afford everything, but fortunately, now I could. Paying him back would take me a while, but at least I had enough money now to cover my expenses.

“Lucky bitch.” It was all I heard Krys said and Danielle laughed

Part of my plan to make Candice life restless was about to be achieved.

  “$2, 387.98, please.”

I thought I was about to pass out. I could no longer feel my heart beating. Holy crap that was more than I had planned. I handed the lady my card and it went through. I only started breathing again when Krys elbowed me.

“Pull out your card, Iris.” She rolled her eyes at me.

The machine kept beeping. I pulled it and placed it back in my wallet with shaky fingers. This life I had, I never imagined it, and it hit me to see how it could be. We had so many bags of clothes that the manager of the store offered to have them delivered to Calvin’s place. I had no idea they could do that.

“Come on, girl. Time to hit the shoe store. I need a rich man too.” Danielle pouted playfully.

“Stop it, it’s not like I’d been looking for a rich man at all. It just happened.” And now, thinking about my life without Calvin, rich or not, it hurt too much. He meant too much and I loved him more than I had ever loved another.

Shoes, I didn’t really care for them at the moment, I wanted to be with my man at home. I missed him and exhaustion hit me like a wrecking ball.

“Do we really need to do this tonight?” I used my most pitiful voice.

Danielle and Krys exchanged a look as if I had lost my mind. “Humm, hello, wake up?” Krys stopped walking to look at me in the eyes. “You just bought over two thousand dollars of clothes. How are you supposed to match everything with the shoes you have now?”

I let a long, exhausted sigh escape my mouth before agreeing
with her. “Okay, you have a point.”

I decided to agree to everything she wanted me to try, and would refuse to go to a second store. My body and mind could only deal with one more stop. My feet already hurt, and now I had to try on sky scrapers.

Danielle liked the nude patent heels, so I got them. Krys like the black ballerina flats, so I got them too. The last pair of shoes to reach my buy list was a leopard print leather heels. They were the highest heels I tried on, and to my surprise, they were comfortable. They made my legs look longer, and that alone gave me a reason to buy them.

I numbed my ears when the time came to pay. I had no idea how much any of them cost. I couldn’t deal with this now, and I trusted the girls not to get the most expensive ones.

“I hope you’ll let me borrow the nude ones, once in a while.” Danielle looked at me with puppy eyes. As if I could say no to her.

“Grab a pair, I’m feeling generous.” I gave her a side hug while she squealed in excitement.

After a small talk outside the store, we parted ways, I hopped in a cab and impatiently rode through the traffic. When I finally saw Calvin’s penthouse from down the street, my heart started beating fast. Some lights were on, and it got me curious, I wondered what he was doing up there, alone.

With my two bags filled with shoe boxes, I pushed on the buttons of the elevator, ignoring the other resident. The door closed and I started giggling like a fool. As soon as the door opened, I started running to find Calvin. Yeah, I missed him that much.

  “Baby? I’m home.”

I could hear him running on the treadmill.

  “Calvin.”

I could still hear him running, fast. I dropped my bags and went to find him. He saw my reflection in the window, I guessed, because as soon as I walked in the room, he stopped.

“Babe, I didn’t hear you come in.” He gave me that smile. The one that makes me melt. “They already delivered your clothes. They called about half an hour ago. So, you found everything you needed?”
