“Of course you do,” he grinned, “I have a cock you love, a smile that gets your knickers around your ankles, and spunk that is gonna make the most beautiful baby ever.”

I couldn’t help but stare at him, tears spilling down my face as I watched him climax, doing what he’d promised and filling my womb with his very essence.

“Marry me tomorrow then I won’t be fat and round.”

His growl halted and his eyes snapped open but his cock still jerked inside me as he gazed in awe at me. “You mean that?”

I nodded eagerly. “Well I would if it were possible to find somewhere and someone to marry us tomorrow.”

Adam laughed, shaking his head. “Babe, we work for Jake Devine. Anything is possible now.”

I laughed with him, finally allowing the shards of my heart to glue back together. “Don’t ever leave me again,” I whispered as I dropped my forehead to his.

  “Never….”

He jumped, I jumped and banged my head on the roof when three cars passed us in quick succession, all of them blowing on their horns as they wound down their windows and cheered us.

“As I said,” Adam laughed. “Welcome to the Devine family.”

  Carrie

Joel squealed when I walked through the door and flung himself at me. “Mum!” he cheered as he hugged me tight. “I missed you so much.”

Taking his face in my hands I studied him. “You’ve lost weight.”

“You say that all the time,” he grumbled, shooing me away.

Adam stood nervously beside me. I stepped back, taking hold of Joel’s hand. “Joel, this is Adam Marshall.”

Joel’s eyes widened and he gapwed at Adam, his gaze eventually moving back to me. “Yours, dad’s and Uncle Gabe’s best friend? You found him?”

I nodded, smiling softly. “Yes.” I sensed Adam shift beside me, obviously shocked to found I spoke of him regularly to Joel.

“Hey,” Adam smiled at Joel, holding his hand out. Joel blinked at it but moved towards Adam and slowly slid his hands around his waist then hugged him tightly. “About your Uncle Gabe,” Adam whispered as he crouched down to Joel’s level.

I caught Isla’s soft smile and I turned to her, holding out my hand. “Isla Cormack, it’s a pleasure to meet you again.”

“And you,” Isla grinned. “I thought Adam was going to have a coronary when I told him you’d dropped by the office.”

I nodded, chuckling when I imagined Adam’s face at the news I’d visited his workplace. I looked at Adam who nodded before I turned back to Isla and pulled out one of the kitchen chairs when Adam led Joel out of the room, en route to MacDonald’s and the cinema apparently. Isla gave me a funny look as I gestured to the chair. “Please, sit down. We have work to do.”

“Work?” she asked, regarding me sceptically.

I smirked. “I’m the new crown court judge, chick. And before I hand in my resignation, there’s a case we need to corrupt.”
