“I disagree, Officer.” Sophia giggled. She looked around the room pointedly before smiling up at his mischievous grin. “I believe it’s the other way around. I seem to recall this is my bedroom.”

“Are you arguing with an officer of the law?”

“Nope, I’m disagreeing, not arguing with you.”

Sean chuckled as he worked his hands beneath Sophia’s shirt. Both groaned when he pinched her distended nipple, while he massaged her breast. He lowered his head, sucking on the other hard nipple through the shirt. Sophia arched into his mouth. Sean released her hands, but not before telling her to leave them there.

Sean looked into Sophia’s eyes, and he liked what he saw. Her lids were barely open, and she wore a dazed look. She reached up and wrapped her small hands around the rungs in the headboard. His hard cock became harder. Without missing a beat, Sean reached down, gripped the hem of Sophia’s tee and lifted it over her head. He stared down, sucking in his breath at her beauty.

“God, you’re beautiful.” Sean whispered. He leaned down and kissed her. Their tongues met, and Sean reached up to cradle Sophia’s head in his hands. He kissed his way over to her ear, then kissed the area below it. He smiled against her skin as Sophia moaned and lifted her hips toward him.

“Easy, it’s been a long time for both of us. Let’s take this slow. You need to behave.”

“I’ll try.” Sophia sighed, turning her head to the side, giving him better access to her neck. She ended up biting her lower lip as he kissed his way down her throat, across her collar bone, down to her breasts. She felt so safe with him.

Sean paused long enough to study Sophia’s perfect breasts. At least he thought they were. They fit his large hands perfectly, her nipples were hard. Her breasts were dusty rose in color. Perfection. He leaned down and took one nipple in his mouth, and sucked. He didn’t let up until she begged him.

“What do you want?” Sean said against her breasts. He kneaded them along with sucking on her nipples. Releasing one with a pop, he kissed his way down her stomach. Reaching the edge of her panties, he licked his way from hip to hip. After he removed them, Sean made his way down to her core. He looked up Sophia’s body and smiled in awe of her beauty. “You are beautiful. I could watch you all day.”

“We’ll talk about your need for glasses later. Right now, I’m kind of busy, or would be if you’d hurry up there, big guy.”

Sean laughed against her lower belly. He loved her sense of humor. He wedged his hands beneath her and lifted her hips, he said, “Challenge accepted.” before he leaned down to devour her. Sophia slammed her hips into Sean’s mouth. Sean licked her length, lifted his head, grinning as she screamed at him not to stop.

“Next time, we’ll have more time. I’ll restrain you. Because it’s been a long time for both of us, I can’t hold off much longer. I’ll let you get away with your sass tonight. We’ll discuss it in the future.”

“Okay, whatever, please don’t stop!” Sophia begged. Both stopped thinking and started feeling when Sean returned his attention to her.

“Sean!” Sophia yelled while putting her feet on his shoulders. She lifted herself higher into his face as she came. Sean lapped her juices and lowered her back to the bed. He reached over to grab one of the condom wrappers on the bedside table. Once he donned it, he crawled up Sophia’s body, kissed her stomach, both breasts, as he made his way up to her lips.

Sophia started to moan; her arms were stretched above her head. Sean loved how her breasts shook. He liked her hands wrapped around the rungs of the headboard.

“Oh god, Sean, that was amazing.”

“We’re not done yet.” Sean sighed as he began to enter her. With the head of his cock in, Sean paused, drawing in a breath. “You’re so tight.”

“You’re so big.” Sophia lifted her head to look down her body, gulping at the size of his cock. It took several deep breaths for Sean to get himself under control. He wanted to slam into her, but he didn’t want to hurt either one of them. Sean grit his teeth as he inched himself in. Fully seated, he hung his head, breathing deeply. He felt sweat running down his back.

“Oh god, Sean, I feel so full.”

  “Do. Not. Move.”

Sophia looked at Sean. She removed one hand from the headboard to reach up and place it on his face. Sean opened his eyes and turned his head to kiss her palm.

“I’m good.” He finally breathed out slowly.

“Good, because I’m going to want you to move now.” Sophia used her inner muscles to encourage Sean to move. With all his weight on his forearms, he stared deep into Sophia’s eyes. He leaned down and kissed her, slipped his tongue in her mouth. He pulled out of her core, to leave the mushroomed head inside. As he mimicked the actions of his tongue, Sean began to move his lower body.

Sophia ripped her mouth from Sean, gasping for breath.

“Oh god. Sean I don’t know if I can handle this.” She looked at him with wide eyes.

Sean paused and waited for her to get herself under control. “I got you. We’ll take it slow.” He kissed the side of her head, and waited for her to look at him.

“I, I, I…” Sophia gripped the headboard so hard one of the rungs snapped as another orgasm overtook her. She couldn’t see or hear anything during it. As she came down, Sean smoothed her hair from her face, and whispered to her. He told her to breathe that he had her. Heartbeat by heartbeat, she began to relax. She looked into his face, and nodded her head at him. She didn’t realize she was crying until Sean wiped her tears with his thumbs. He leaned down and kissed her as he began to move again.

The next orgasm Sophia had, wasn’t as intense as the first, but still intense. Sean joined her in her joyful release. As they breathed hard, Sean fell to the side, taking Sophia with him. He smiled, reached up, and released her hands from the headboard. He removed the condom, gathered her in his arms, pulled the blanket over them. Both fell into a deep sleep within seconds. Neither moved until the alarm went off at six a.m.

Sophia groaned as she reached out to slap the alarm, silencing the noise for the next nine minutes. It went off again, and she swore. The sound of scratching at her bedroom door, jerked her awake.

  “What the hell?”

“Kilo.” Sean mumbled from beneath the pillow his head was buried beneath. “He wants out.”

“Oh.” Sophia pushed him toward the edge of the bed. “Start the coffee when you let him out.” She hurried into the bathroom, making sure she jerked the blankets off his very naked body on her way by. She paused long enough to admire his fabulous ass. Giggling, she hurried into the bathroom as he jumped up from the bed.

Sean smiled, shaking his head as he dressed. He went out to let Kilo outside. “If I stay over here anymore, I promise to put in a door for you.” Sean told Kilo as he opened the door. Kilo took off at a run to the front door. Sean laughed, swearing the dog’s back teeth were floating. Letting him out, Sean nodded, seeing no new snow. In the kitchen, he started a pot of coffee. As he waited for Kilo to come back in, he grabbed his phone and accessed the weather app. Nodding, he let Kilo back in and made sure he had food and water. Sean looked up to watch Sophia walk out of her bedroom.

“Coffee smells delicious.” Sophia entered and went to the cupboard and pulled down two mugs. After pouring the brew, she handed him one. “I could get used to this.”

“Speaking of which, can you do me a favor today?”

“What?” Sophia said. She watched Sean pull items from her refrigerator. She watched in fascination while he cut up vegetables she’d bought. Sean cut the veggies and tossed them in a pan. He then cracked and whipped up some eggs.

  “Do you want toast?”

  “Um, sure?”

Sean smiled as he dropped slices of bread in the toaster. He set the knife and butter in front of her. “You can butter it when it pops up.”

“I think I can handle it. What are you making?”

“Veggie omelets. Since you got up at six, I’m assuming you leav
e here around seven for work?”

“I do. I don’t have to start until eight. I like to get there early. Did you happen to see if it snowed more overnight?”

“It did not. According to the weather app, we’re not due for any for the next few days.”

“Cool.” Sophia nodded as she buttered the toast Sean put in front of her. In minutes two plates of food sat on the table. Settling in to eat, Sophia looked at Sean and asked. “What was the favor you wanted to ask me?”

“Oh, first on a scale of one to ten, last night and this morning was at least a thirty. I want a relationship with you. I have no problem staying overnight here. Kilo does.”

“What? He didn’t like it here?”

Sean took her hand in his. “At my place, he has his own door where he comes and goes as he wants.”

“Don’t you worry about him not coming back? What if he wanders off and gets lost? What if someone kidnaps him?”

“No, he goes out in an enclosed area of the lawn. I was wondering if you could ask Randy if I could put a doggie door in. If he agrees, I’d even fence in an area for him to run. He won’t be staying out much. Not with the cold weather. Long enough to do his business and come back in. If I want to play with him, I can use the front lawn.”

“What about the deposits he’ll leave?”

“I’ll clean those up.” Sean laughed.

“Good.” Sophia laughed as she finished her breakfast. “I’ll talk to Randy today at work. Can I ask you something?”

  “Sure.”

“Would it be wrong of me if I invited Randy over for Thanksgiving? I know it’s still three weeks away.”

“I don’t see any harm in it. Maybe we can hook him up with your friend, Ginny.” Sean waggled his eyebrows at her.

“I’m not inviting him to set him up with Ginny. She’s still raw from her husband leaving her. Who knows if their marriage is even over? It’s not my place to judge. I like her. I’ll be there for her if she needs anything. She’s someone I want to be friends with. Besides Susan, I’m inviting him because I’ve heard the guys talking at work. I got the impression he doesn’t have any family.”

“He doesn’t.” Sean sighed. He finished his meal and took the dishes to the sink. He glanced at the clock, pouring them each another cup of coffee. After joining her back at the table, Sean sighed again.

“Randy’s a couple years younger than me. I’m thirty-four, how old are you?”

“Twenty-eight. Did the two of you grow up here in Stormville?”

“We did, along with Scott and several others. I’m sure you realized, we’re not a big town. Everyone knows everyone. I shouldn’t be telling you this because it’s really not my story to tell. But Randy’s dad was in the military. He lost his life during a training mission when Randy was young. I think two or three.”

  “So, he wouldn’t remember him?”

“Correct. His mother grew up in the foster care system. His grandparents were his father’s parents. After the funeral, Randy and his mom came here to live. They moved in next door in the farmhouse. Randy started school here. He was eleven or twelve, and his mother died of cancer. Randy’s grandparents became his guardians. He worked the farm while going to school. Instead of going to college, he went to trade school. He worked in local garages while still working on the farm. Then he started working for HALO. Curt allowed him to work around taking care of the farm and his grandfather. His grandmother had already passed. After her passing, his grandfather slowly sold off the cows and equipment.”

“But he kept the land and buildings?”

“Yes, it wasn’t a working farm any longer. I know a couple of years ago, Randy started the renovations. He started leasing the land to other farmers.”

“Does that mean other farmers come in to use it for their crops, pay him rent?”

“Exactly. I believe that’s what he used for the renovations. He has almost a thousand acres. I think he rented out eight hundred of them. Some loggers came in to thin out the old dead trees in the wooded areas. They replanted the same number they cut down.”

  “Wow, he’s enterprising.”

“Yes, I think inviting him for Thanksgiving would be a wonderful idea.”

“Cool, I’ll ask him.” Sophia finished her coffee, cleaning the kitchen. “Go finish getting dressed. I don’t have a spare key. I’ll talk to Randy about getting another one after work.”

Sean kissed the side of her head, before he hurried to the bedroom. He finished dressing making a mental note to pack a bag to leave some clothes here. The three of them left the house at the same time. Sean scowled when Kilo took off behind the garage, barking his fool head off. Instead of calling the dog back, he wrapped his arms around Sophia bringing her in for a kiss. He’d planned it as a gentle kiss, but it took only seconds to turn hot. Sean broke it off, and gently pressed his forehead against hers.

“I have to work until midnight, and I don’t get home until almost one. I’m not expecting you to wait up for me. It’ll be the same on Friday. What time on Saturday do you want me here?” At Sophia’s frown, Sean kissed her wrinkled brow. “For Connor’s party?”

“Oh, the party is at two, I get out of work at noon. One-thirty?”

“I’ll see you then. I’m going to call you on my lunch break tonight.”

  “What time?”

  “Between eight and nine.”

“Works for me.” Sophia glanced at her watch, swearing when she saw it was after seven. “I’ll talk to you later.” She gave him a quick kiss and hopped in her car. Her last sight of Sean was he held the passenger door of his truck open for Kilo, to jump inside.

Sophia looked up when someone knocked on her open door, laughing when she saw Curt standing there with a goofy expression on his face. “Ready?”

“Yes.” She laughed as she jumped to her feet. She saw Ginny, and called out to her. “Want to watch with us?”

“What are you doing?” Ginny asked as she filled a mug with coffee.

“Curt has a new clear coat he wants to try. We’re both at the point where we can put this on our projects. It’s the last coat, once it dries, we’re done. We have to put them back together. The shop is slow this week. With everyone’s help, we should get them back up and running soon.”

  “And I can watch you?”

“Yes,” Curt said. “Flip the switch, so the phone rings in the shop. You can answer it from there.”

“What switch?” Ginny asked as Sophia showed her, she put a bell on the counter with a note. Telling the customers to ring the bell until someone came from the back.

  “Oh, wow.”

“Yeah, it was the only way we could get work done.”

Before Sophia could turn away, Ginny said. “I’ve thought about your invitation to Thanksgiving. I’m going to accept. If you have the room, I’d like to bring the kids and spend the night. I can teach you how to make pies. I’ve always made them the night before. If John ever decides to remember he still has a family, I can tell him to go to hell.”

“Good for you, before we go out there, I have a question to ask you. I told Sean about you. He remembers you and John from high school, though you were younger.”

  “What’s his last name again?”

“Kilduff, he’s a deputy sheriff now. He has the K-9.”

  “Kilo?”

  “Yes.”

“I know who that is now. Why did you talk to him about me?” Ginny worried her hands as she looked at Sophia.

“I told him I wanted to invite you and your kids for Thanksgiving. Susan will be there. I’m going to admit right now I have no clue how to cook anything.” Sophia giggled. “I called him last night and asked him how to make toasted cheese. He happened to come over to teach me.”

“Cool, wait, if you can’t cook, who’s cooking Thanksgiving dinner?”

“Susan said she’d teach me as she cooked, and Sean said he’d help.”

  “Count me in. I’ll help.”

  “
Sounds like a plan.” The two women were laughing when they entered the shop. They made their way over to the paint booth. Several of the guys from the shop stood there. Inside, Sophia indicated for Curt to continue pouring the final coat of paint into the sprayer.

“Now you’re sure this is going to work? I’m only asking because I’m not familiar with this brand.”

“Chris swears by it. He said the Daytona shop switched to this. Thought we could try it. If it works, then we’ll order it. He tightened the sprayer before asking if Sophia wanted to do it.

“No, I’ll trust you, start at one end, hit everything, get both bikes done at once.”

“Sounds like a plan. Does everyone have face masks?” Curt noticed everyone was prepared. He nodded. After giving a couple of practice sprays, he started spraying the parts hanging together. He started with the fenders before going to the oil tanks and then on to the gas tanks. They were able to tell them apart because Sophia’s job is Midnight Madness, while Curt’s was hunter green.

Curt sprayed the small parts first and then moved on to the fenders. As he refilled the sprayer before doing the gas tanks, Ginny spoke.

“Oh my god, that is so cool.”

“What is?” Randy asked as he approached her from behind, looking over her shoulder. “Oh, shit, Curt, you better look at this. It’s not good.”

“What?” Curt came over, looking closer, swearing a blue streak. He looked at Sophia with a shocked expression. “I’m sorry.”

“What?” Sophia hurried over. She studied the fenders, staring in shock as the shiny clear coat began making a crackling noise. Right before their eyes, several spider web-like lines started to appear. “What the fucking hell!” Sophia stared in shock. “Are you fucking serious? We are not, I repeat not, as in never, using that brand again. Did you pay for that gallon?”

“No, Chris sent it to me.”

Sophia pulled her phone, punching in a number. “What the hell, Chris.” She said when he answered.

“Sophia? What’s wrong? Is it Curt?” Chris demanded after Sophia had yelled at him.
