Forbidden Fires

She moved astride him and grasped his cock, giving it one long stroke. He gritted his teeth but said nothing else, so she did it again. When she felt the fist drops of fluid seep from the slit, she angled him so she was right above him. He lifted his hips as she dropped hers, and then he was seated inside her, pressed tightly together.

So full, so amazingly full and absolutely perfect.

He held her with his good hand on her hip, holding her in place, his fingers biting into her skin. “Fuck me, babe. I want you to ride me until you need to come, and then you have to ask my permission. You can do whatever you need to get to that point, but don’t you dare go over. Your orgasms belong to me.”

“Yes, Sir,” she said, biting her lip. She closed her eyes did as he ordered. He wasn’t quiet as she rode him, encouraging her with grunts and moans and sexy, naughty suggestions.

He wasn’t idle, either. His good hand traveled over her body, pinching a nipple, rubbing her clit, dipping a finger inside her anus, then sweeping up her back.

She leaned forward, careful not to put any pressure against his broken arm, and she kissed him, desperate to taste at least some part of him. He wasn’t idle then either, his palm against her throat, holding her back from kissing him as deeply as she wanted to, but that hand across her windpipe made her body shiver.

She rode him harder, faster, pushing against his hand. She cried out, needing him to be in control, even now.

  Especially now.

He must’ve understood her need for dominance and pain, because he moved his hand to her breast, squeezing her nipple. She whimpered, still needing more, rubbing her clit up against his skin as she stroked him with her internal muscles. He slapped her ass hard, probably ten times or more before she felt the need to come break over her. “Please, Sir, may I come? Please, I’m begging.”

“Open your eyes, brat,” he demanded. “Look at me when you beg me.”

She forced her eyes open, blinking several times through the haze of pain and desire before she got it right.

His jaw was screwed tight, sweat glistening on his forehead. His eyes were lit with undeniable fire as he locked them with hers and spanked her ass again.

“May I come, Sir? Please!” On every word, he stuck her again, warming her bottom, making her struggle with keeping back her impending orgasm. The knot in her belly grew and grew and grew until she couldn’t hold back any more. “Oh please, oh please, oh please, please, please—”

“Hold it,” he ordered, breaking into her litany of words. She was drenched with her own fluids, and he dipped his fingers through them, spanking her, then stroking her, spanking her again, stroking her again.

When her tears were flowing unchecked and she was begging him with an insane, unholy need, he unleashed a quick volley of smacks against her ass, then plunged his fingers inside her tight rear hole.

She felt him swell inside, and with one final thrust of both fingers and cock, he gave his permission. “Come for me, Delia. Now.”

The knot of need inside her burst into a shimmering explosion, filling her entire body with painful, agonizing, incredible relief.

Colin tensed, his whole body going rigid as he came, bathing her core with the warm wash of his come.

She felt as though she were floating on air, and she never wanted to come out of this haze. She heard Colin murmuring to her, felt him draw her to the side, pulling her close to him under the blanket they’d tossed aside, but it all happened in a dreamlike place where her brain and her body were both blessedly calm.

She truly had no idea how much later it was when she came back to earth. Colin was sleeping, his hand curled into her ass. She raised herself up on one elbow and watched him breathing. His color was good, and his breath was nice and even. Nothing like an explosion of fire—and then an explosive orgasm or two—to set things back to normal. Better than normal, broken arm excepted.

She stroked a finger down his cheek. “I love you,” she whispered. “As Sir and as Colin. My equal, my partner, my lover, my Master.”

To her surprise, he opened his eyes and smiled, a sweet yet devilish grin. “I love you too, as brat and as Delia.” He pulled her close and kissed her, then released her so she could see his face again. “My equal, my partner, my lover, my submissive. I already told you this, but it bears repeating. I’m never letting you go.”

He must’ve seen the worry in her eyes, because he caressed her cheek and kissed her softly. “I know we have a lot to talk through, especially about how and why things ended last year, but I mean what I said, sweetheart. When I thought you were going to die? Put every single part of my life into perspective. I’ll work anywhere, live anywhere, do anything, as long as you and I can be together.”

He flushed. “The fact that I stayed faithful to you over the past year should’ve been a fucking clue to me. Every time I looked at a woman, she wasn’t you. Didn’t make me feel the same things, didn’t intrigue me with her amazing intelligence and generous heart. I brought you into this case because we needed your insights, but I’d be lying if I said that seeing you again wasn’t a big part of my decision. It was, and I won’t apologize for it.”

Her heart thudded at his vehement defense of his actions, and she owed him at least as much honesty. “I figured I’d be alone forever. I never met anyone who made me feel the things you make me feel. I wanted to serve you, Colin, right from the very beginning. I just never knew how to ask. That desire inside me is always there, but society makes it such a forbidden thing. I would have tried to live without it if it meant I could have you, and I thought about looking you up again, but I was afraid we’d have the same problems. It’s part of who I am, and I need it.”

“And you’ll get it,” he said softly. “I asked McConnell about it, about how I could have lived without ever knowing that a Dom existed inside me, and he said it’s not uncommon, that maybe you’re the only woman who brings it out in me. Whatever the case, you’ve unleashed that fire in me, and there’s no putting it out now.” He kissed her, tucked her closer to his side, a wide hand splayed across her butt, his fingers playing in the cleft between her cheeks. “My brat.”

She lay with her head on his chest, idly toying with one of his nipples. She smiled into his skin as he stroked her, kindling the forbidden fire inside her again. She wriggled against him and he swatted her ass hard, laughter rumbling in his chest as she yelped. “Again, Sir?”

“Oh, we’re only just beginning,” he murmured thickly.

“Promise?” she asked, her throat tight with emotion.

He pressed a kiss against her head. “I promise.”

  About the Author

Jodie Griffin has always been a reader, but never imagined being a writer. She’d read anything she could get her hands on (including cereal boxes), but school papers were written one painful word at a time—and never over required word count. Then, one ordinary day, something changed. A story idea came, demanding to be put on paper. After several years of practice, she took the leap, submitted her first story, and hasn’t looked back since.

Jodie works a full-time technical job and does her writing late in the evenings, on weekends and sometimes even in the office cafeteria during her lunch hour—which can be interesting if she’s working on a love scene. Her own happily-ever-after includes one incredibly supportive husband, one future heroine and two orange tabbies who keep her company as she writes.

Jodie is also the author of Forbidden Fantasies (available in ebook and in the print anthology The Theory of Attraction) and Forbidden Desires.

Where no great story goes untold.
