“Why dump him on the beach?” Star asked.
“To buy herself some time, I guess,” Jenny said, “or mislead the police. Everyone thought the man had drowned at sea and washed up on shore.”
“What about him being from the other world?” Molly asked.
“That was her too,” Jenny sighed. “She called in a lead to a couple of newspapers, told them that’s what the locals believed.”
“I don’t understand one thing,” Heather spoke up. “How did she manage to carry a two hundred pound man from the café to the beach?”
“Oh! I almost forgot,” Jenny smiled. “She’s a champion wrestler.”
