After the collective groans had died down, Marva asked, “But how about you three? Can you steal a few days before you go back to River Heights?”
At Nancy’s nod, she invited them. “Then please spend it here at the club as my—our—guests,” she said with a quick grin at Gil. “You’ll get to know the club for the wonderful place it really is.”
Nancy and George exchanged delighted glances. Despite Bess’s small moan of protest, they agreed that Club High Adventure could be the perfect place to spend a few restful days.
