Taming the Bear Collection Page 16

by Jessica Ryan

The tears never came; instead, Rain fell asleep with a smile on her face. She was happy that she was going to die beside the only man who had ever truly understood her.

In the middle of the night she was awakened by a loud banging down the hallway. She broke out into a cold sweat, realizing that the end could be marching down the hallway right now.

Mercifully, nobody ever came; instead, she heard shouting and banging. There were voices she couldn’t make out, but one rang clearly in her ears—Abaddon. She’d never actually heard the demon’s voice, but she knew at that moment that it was him talking.

“Find him,” Abaddon said forcefully. “He’s their leader. If he’s not captured, then they could rise up. You idiot, there’s more of them than us even with the Oakdales on our side!”

Rain smiled one last time before going back to sleep. Her part was done, but there was one more who would finish this whole thing: Aster.

The End Is Near For The Bucklin Wolves

Rain and Beorn’s part in this story, just like Rowan, Eva, Hawk and Ciara’s, is done, but there remains one whose story is just beginning: Aster.

The Bucklin Wolves series is drawing to a close, but not before Aster tries to rescue his people and the woman he once loved. Is Leena still alive inside of her body, or has the demon completely consumed her?

Aster never stopped loving his childhood sweetheart and rescuing her from herself may be the only way he can rescue his people.

The exciting conclusion to the Bucklin Wolves series begins with Healing The Alpha Part 1.
