Headlights blinked, and Sidney glanced over her shoulder. She gave Moses a wave, and said a little prayer that he’d find the same happiness she had now with Navarro.
Navarro tucked her hand in the crook of his elbow. “Any regrets?”
As she met his dark, glittering gaze, Sidney shook her head and smiled. “I’m gonna cover the story of the millennium. What more could a girl ask for?” Bet that made you nervous, huh?
Navarro sighed. “You’re really going to enjoy torturing me with my gift, aren’t you?”
As she climbed the steps, she couldn’t resist a little more teasing. “How long do you think it will take for the captain turn off the seat belt sign?” How many ways can I torture you until then? Shall I tell you what I plan to do to you with my mouth?
“We might have to share a seat,” he murmured, a wicked hand caressing her bottom.
