“Thanks to you, I could keep it under my own control. But you got too close.” Jonathan hit the door with his fist. “You will be next.”
Renan looked at Daniel. “But think about your son. What kind of future awaits him?”
Jonathan was silent…
Renan continued, “Besides… You could have killed me much earlier. About seventeen years ago in that country house.”
“Country house…” Jonathan laughed. “Are you that little boy?”
“Yes… You knew that I was home. Why did you leave me alive?”
“You know what my job means, Renan? Observing people, creating new facts, penetrating into their minds… I was able to do this. And you thought I was unreal, right?”
“It’s late, Doctor. It is too late.”
“You did not win.”
“I do not think so… Are you ready, Bryce?”
Jonathan froze. “What you said?”
Renan walked away from the door. “He is right here.” He took out his microphone and the tracking sensor that he received from Agents Devon Warren and Bryce Johnson; they and their team broke into the hotel and attacked the building. Making sure that the outside was safe, Renan opened the door.

He began the process of psychological research, in that process he abducted people, then he killed those who could not improve in his eyes… His patient, Colin LeCompt, was one of these kidnapped people, but at some point he managed to escape, he escaped from the place where they all were - an abandoned hotel.
